14 days ago, the day after they arrive on Naboo, Rey had been sent to wake up Lukas, rubbing his eyes the 9-year old takes one look at Rey starts crying and runs away
Present day Mara Jade sits in meditation wondering, why had Lukas been avoiding Rey for the last 2 weeks!?
Anakin Skywalker's force ghost appears behind her saying, "I can answer that question!"
Opening her eyes Mara glanced behind her and said, "Explain?"
"Mara… you know the way force visions work right!" Anakin asks trying to lead her to the answer.
Inwardly cringing Mara said, "Yes"
"Imagine being 9-years old and seeing someone you care about die right in front to you!" Anakin explained looking at her
Remembering her son's actions, and how he's been avoiding Rey Mara finished his statement and thought, knowing he couldn't stop it!
"He's only a child trying to make sense of it!" Anakin explained softlt.
Moments Later reading her face and with a serious undertone Anakin said, "No one is sending him bad dreams if that's what your worried about!" alleviating Mara's fear, however that didn't stop her first reaction thinking, He had a nightmare!
"Mara… a Jedi or even a Je'daii for that matter don't have nightmares, I should know!" Anakin said softly.
Mara was watching him for any cues desperate for any signs of deception when Anakin said, "he is trying to make sense of what he saw in the vision, however he lacks the understanding that only comes with growing up!" Anakin, said, "When I felt his pain this, I went to him I told him to talk to Luke!"
"I understand Anakin!" Mara said, "That's what being a parent means, you're willing to take their pain no matter the cost!"
The pained look on Anakin's face said, "I wouldn't know I fell before I had the chance!"
Looking at Mara, in the cold tenor he used when he was Darth Vader, Anakin said, "If someone is sending him bad dreams, dealing with you would be the least of their problems!"
She looked at him as if he were Darth Vader reborn and, in her mind, Mara heard Anakin say, they would have to deal with Vader!
Just the thought of Darth Vader's force ghost as an adversary sent shivers through her entire body thinking, Thank you Anakin!
"With a twinkle I his eye Anakin said, "My pleasure!"
"Try to keep him a little boy for as long as possible Mara!" Anakin said as he starts to dissolve, he tells her, "For force sake teach my son how to shield!"
In the center of the gardens Luke was finishing his mid-morning meditations when Lukas launches himself at him snuggling in as tightly as he can, and Luke can feel the sorrow coming of his son in waves!
"Lukas!" Luke said, concerned, looking up from his father's chest with red bloodshot eyes in a brittle broken voice Lukas said, "Daddy D-do Y-you H-have V-visions!"
Lukas! His father thought, what has you so spooked!
Wordlessly Lukas presses his palm to his father's check the look on his face said "I don't want to remember this.
Centering himself Luke said, "I know you don't want to remember the vision, but if I'm going to help you!
Lukas Pushes the vision though to his father.
Luke Skywalker was strong in the force, but he was unprepared for how strong his son is, as he starts seeing Lukas vision.
Rey is walking through a mist when she collapsed dropping 2 lightsabers in the process.
Lukas starts tearing up as Luke pushes past the blackness as if watching a holovid in fast forward Luke sees, Ben/Kylo Ren comes into view and places one hand on her center and the other on Rey's forehead. Luke watches as the color starts to fade from his nephew's face.
Looking on in horror Luke knows exactly what skill Ben is using!
Dark Transfer! Luke thought, Ben what are you playing at!
Luke needed to talk to one person (His father) he knew that he was the only one who might be able to answer his questions!
Moments Later Stroking the head of his sleeping son Luke calls out, "Father!"
Anakin Skywalker's force ghost appears stating, "Yes Luke!"
"How much do you remember about your time as Vader!"
A look of regret came over Anakin's face as he said, "All of it why!"
The look on Luke's face said I'm sorry, as he asks, "What do you remember about Dark Transfer!"
In a tight cold tone of voice Anakin asked, "Luke where did you hear about that!"
The undertone of his voice stated, this is not a subject to talk about openly,
"I read about it in the Je'Daii texts, in the translation they called it (Life Essence Transfer)" Luke explained, "Lukas showed me his vision, there was more to it!"
"How so!" Anakin commented as much as he wanted to know, he really didn't.
Taking a breath Luke stated, "Ben finds Rey on the verge of death, he transfers his Life force to her, holding back his mind!"
"Bens last words to her are, I was the one they got, you are the one they needed!" Luke explained looking at Anakin.
Filling in and replacing the omitted words Anakin, states, "I was the Jedi they got, you are the Jedi they needed!"
In his mind Luke hears his father say, Lukas potential exceeds my own before I turned… Luke my potential exceeded Yoda's!
Luke's head snapped to his father as the implications of what Anakin just told him sinks in, he told Luke, "Tython is a good hiding place!"
"Father How Many Forms Do You Know!"
Raising his brow as his son Luke, Anakin said, "All 7 Lightsaber forms although I tended to favor Djem So or Juyo
5 minutes later Mara approaches Luke as he said, "Mara you remember how strong the Emperor was right."
Luke gave his sone a sideways glance, Through the link they share Mara heard, Anakin tells me our son will be stronger than he was!
Suddenly a segment of the conversation he had with Anakin rushes back to the forefront of her mind, try to keep him a little boy for as long as possible Mara!"
Mara had he not turned my father would have been stronger than Yoda, and he was on par with The Emperor himself! Luke stated through the link, stopping mid stride Mara looked from Luke to her son wide eyed she could feel fear seep it to her consciousness as Mara heard Anakin's disembodied voice in her mind say, the difference is Mara, I didn't have a mother and father to keep me grounded and guide me!

Sheev Palpatine's presence in the force was too monstrous to fathom and my son, our son will be… Stronger! Mara thought
"You remember all the story's about Yoda right!" Luke said as he watched his wife nod only to have Luke say, "My father had the potential to be stronger in the force then Yoda!"
Stopping mid stride Luke's words came back to the forefront of Mara's thoughts, had he not turned my father would have been stronger than Yoda, and he was on par with The Emperor himself!
