Sorry guys for the Haitus. I have found various plotholes in my plot and it isn't working out. It might take me a month or so to get the kinks sorted out in the meantime. A/N: Hi, guys. Sorry for the super late update. It's hard to type under the name change so I think I am going to edit the chapter. Don't worry his name will still be Peverell. Remember the real Paid in Blood starts at Year 4 so the plot for Year 1-3 will be mostly similar but I still want to give a couple twists to it. I got some reviews that wanted longer chapters but I simply could not fathom how on earth I am supposed to write long chapters too much. I was also suffering writer's block for 3 days straight while my prescription for glasses skyrocketed (might have something to do with me using my phone until 2 in the morning but we don't talk about that). I know this is not a long chapter by much but HEY! This is my first fic. And no one is helping me so I have to proofread, edit and think of the plot all at the same time. I will write the first 3 years rather quickly but with detrimental changes to the AU. Starting from Year 4, you will find out about Harry's life before the time travel. Oh, and Haphne is still on. I have another fanfiction that has around 5 chapters but the last 3 chapters are still on indefinite hold for editing. (Tell me if you want me to post this or would wait until the entire fic is done. IF you guys want this story I will continue writing it. But that means longer update delays.) Sorry for my rambling. I hope to see the support you guys have given me thanks.

I am not just writing Haphne stories anymore. Harry/OC stories are getting planned… by me. So, probably half-drawn ideas. I think I am going to start a WBWL story and you guys can vote on which chapter I should work on next through reviews. For now, The WBWL story is HP/OC(probably Vampiress) since I don't want another Haphne story. I have a tendency to be very involved in my story so I might mistake personalities.

Also, I just have to warn you. I am not Transphobic. But I don't write Slash or any gender bending/ other sort of inclinations such as this. I write and read stories from a first person perspective and, being straight IRL, makes it extremely uncomfortable for me writing and reading such kind of stories. I hope you understand this. I do support LGBTQ+ since I support human rights. So, please don't judge me for not writing any Slash or other such stuff. Now, onto other stuff.
-I wanted to make sure this story doesn't have any cheesy lines and others such as this. I will try to make it seem humorous at times and may copy some jokes from the real world. A reminder that fanfiction isn't everything. I remember using some jokes in my earlier years and want to implement it to the story to retain some humour in this rather depressing story.
-I don't know if you guys like reading the entire year but I will try to make Year 2 a little more bearable and separate it into parts.
