Chapter 87

Sora was flying in the dark void, but he was still in tears after what Ultear did.

"Dammit!", he said. "Why couldn't I stay with her?!"

"Sora.", said Jiminy. "It was her own choice to stay. She did what her heart told her to do. We couldn't interfere with that."

"I know! But..."

"We shouldn't let her sacrifice be in vain."

"Right…"

As they were flying, they saw a figure near the light. When closer, Sora looked surprised because the figure was Kairi.

"Sora.", she said with a smile.

"Kairi!", he said as the two of them grabbed each other's hands. "I found you!" The two of them let go and started to fly towards the light.

"You see?", she said. "I had no doubts that you'd pull through."

"Yeah, but…"

"What's wrong?"

"Someone helped me get you guys back and she gave her life because of it. I couldn't help her!"

Kairi then came over to Sora and hugged him, which surprised him.

"This new friend must've been a really good person.", she said. "And I don't think she wants you to be sad because of her. She still lives inside your heart because you remember her. You'll find a way to save her." She then let go of Sora. "Let's make this moment count. For her!"

Sora wiped the tears from his eyes and said with determination, "Right!"

They continued to fly towards the light.

"The light in the darkness.", he said. "It was you. You're the one who kept me from fading away."

"All I did was believe that you wouldn't. I've heard stories from the Fairy Tail mages that they risked their lives to protect something or someone and they've always had faith in each other and that they will come through no matter how difficult it got. That's how they are strong. So if they had faith, then I should have faith in you."

Sora chuckled. "I feel strong with you, Kairi."

Kairi turned away from him. She was blushing and smiling upon hearing that. They both grabbed each other's hand.

"The others are ahead. Come on."

As they were flying, Sora remembered the miracles during his adventure. When Rapunzel and Eugene embrace each other after Rapunzel revived him and when Elsa and Anna hugged after Anna was unfrozen.

Sora then gasped while Kairi smiled upon seeing his reaction.

"I told you, Sora. You're safe with me."

Sora smiled. "Yeah."

The two of them got close to the light and flew into it.

At the battlefield, all of the mages have suffered from some damage, but they continued to fight.

Suddenly, the entire ground started to glow very brightly.

"What is it now?!", shouted Gajeel.

"The ground is glowing!", said Lector.

"Fro thinks so too!", said Frosch.

"Why is this happening?", wondered a nervous Lucy.

Xigbar came up to Master Xehanort and said, "Hey, gramps."

"I know…", answered Master Xehanort with no surprise.

Everyone was then consumed by the light.

Sora and Kairi landed on the ground, making Sora lose balance a little.

"You okay?", asked Kairi.

Sora looked up and smiled.

"Yeah.", he answered. "Thanks, Kairi."

Sora then expressed joy, as the revived Guardians and almost all of the Earth Land mages were standing in front of them.

"What the hell just happened?", said Laxus.

"We were just fighting against the Organization members and their army of monsters.", said Olga.

"And we thought you were all dead.", said Lyon.

"What just happened?", asked Sting.

"My guess is that Sora did something, so now everyone's here again.", said Jellal.

Natsu came up to Sora and said, "Awesome! You are always full of surprises."

"Aye, sir!", said Happy.

"It did work.", said Sora.

"Of course!", said Donald.

"Now point us back at those guys!", said Goofy.

"Right!", said a determined Sora.

"So you're the Keyblade wielder.", said Gildarts as he came up to Sora.

"Who are you?", asked Sora.

"That's Gildarts.", said Happy. "He's the strongest member in Fairy Tail."

Sora, Donald, and Goofy were shocked.

"We thought Erza and Laxus were strong enough!"

"Sorry I couldn't get here sooner.", said Gildarts. "I was out on a job until I got the Master's letter."

"It's fine.", said Sora. "Glad you can help us." He then faced the newcomers. "And you must be from the other guilds in Earth Land. Blue Pegasus, Mermaid Heel, Quatro Cerberus, and Lamia Scale."

"Glad to be of service.", said Hibiki.

"I rather have everyone live a fun joyful life than have darkness rule us!", said a happy Master Bob.

"They caused our friends pain.", said Kagura. "They cannot be allowed to live."

"It's time I show my wild side on the battlefield.", said Goldmine.

"It's time to get wild!", shouted the members of Quatro Cerberus.

"We weren't gonna let Lyon and Sherria take all of the action.", said Yuka.

"Beat up those guys now!", shouted Toby.

"Relax.", said Lyon.

"Show me where those guys are!", said Ooba. "I'll spin them like crazy!"

Sora then faced Master Makarov and asked, "Master Makarov, are you sure you'll be alright?"

"This old body has some magic left.", he responded. "Don't worry. Focus on your task."

"Everyone's decided to go all out.", said Natsu. "Now let's do it!"

Sora nodded. Everyone then ran towards the cave to confront the Organization.

They all once again travel through the cave. After some time, they saw a light and exited the cave, returning to the open field where they had originally fallen.

After examining the area, Ventus saw a figure in the dusty air. The air started to clear, showing the figure clearly.

It was Terra.

"Terra!", Ven said with surprise. He then ran after him.

"Ven!", said Aqua.

"Ven-san.", said Wendy.

"That's Aqua's missing friend, Terra?", asked Jellal.

"Must be.", said Erza.

When Ven got close, he grabbed Terra's hand and said with relief, "Terra! We found you!"

Terra didn't respond. He just looked at him with a blank face.

"This must be a trap.", said Kagura.

"Yes.", said Minerva. "Why would he show up in the middle of nowhere after being missing all this time."

"Aqua came up to them and said worriedly, "Terra, please say you're in there."

Terra then looked at Aqua and his eyes widened. Seeing this, Aqua grabbed Ven's shoulder and pulled him away. Everyone then ran up to them.

"What gives, Aqua?", asked Ven.

"I know that you're not him.", she said. This surprised Ven. "Now, let our friend go!"

After hearing this, Terra smiled while looking down. Suddenly, his brown hair started to turn white. When he opened his eyes, his eye color was yellow.

Ven looked heartbroken while the others were cautious.

"He is their thirteenth.", said Mickey.

While there was a dark aura around him, Xehanort smirked. "Today is the day you all lose."

"What?!", question Aqua.

"Before you even face the thirteen, every last one of you will be torn heart from body. But fear not." He then summoned his Keyblade. "The X-blade will still be forged."

Sora then said with a serious look, "We're not gonna lose to you."

"Yeah!", said Natsu. "Cause now you have to face all of us!"

Xehanort smirked again and disappeared, surprising everyone. Everyone looked around, but there was no trace of him.

"He disappeared?!", wondered Yukino.

Suddenly, a large amount of dust was speared into the air, right in front of Aqua and Ven. This surprised everyone.

"What happened?", wondered Macbeth.

The dust started to clear away. They saw Xehanort with his Keyblade and it seems that he was going to attack Aqua and Ven but his Keyblade was blocked by something. When the dust disappeared, Xehanort saw with shock an armor figure with a Keyblade, blocking his Keyblade.

Its helmet is mostly gold, except for its black visor, and it sports two red prongs (one on either side of the helmet) that point upwards. The arms, legs, and ribs of the armor are black and have orange patterns decorating them. Its knee guards, gauntlets, breastplate, and armored boots are gold, and there are other, smaller pieces of gold armor on its legs. The armor figure wears black pauldrons with gold edges. The front of the armor on its torso is red, as are small pieces of armor on its lower legs and gauntlets. The armor figure also wears gold anklets with red spikes on the back that curve upward sharply. The armor figure also wears a cape that is gold on the outside and dark blue on the inside.

Xehanort was struggling on pushing the figure back with his Keyblade.

"Who are you?", Xehanort asked furiously.

"Got you, Xehanort.", said the armor figure.

The figure then pushed Xehanort away, making him jump far away from him.

Everyone was surprised.

"Who is he?", wondered Jenny.

"He managed to block that attack.", said Bisca.

"Terra?", wondered Aqua.

"This is impossible!", said Xehanort.

The armor figure started to walk towards Xehanort and said, "How I've waited for this moment."

The figure swung his Keyblade to his side and it began to glow. The Keyblade grew longer, which it has now transformed into a whip. The figure whipped his Keyblade hard towards Xehanort and the tip of his blade wrapped around Xehanort's Keyblade. Xehanort tried to pull his Keyblade away to shake off the Keyblade whip but it wouldn't budge.

The figure then pulled his Keyblade hard into the air. Xehanort, who was still holding onto his Keyblade, was flown into the air as well. Xehanort let go of his Keyblade and dove straight towards the armor figure.

Seeing this, the armor figure transformed his Keyblade into a giant cannon. The handles at the front started to spin as a bright light started to glow between them. Xehanort gasped upon seeing what the armor figure was doing.

The armor figures blasted a giant laser at Xehanort, causing him to yell in pain. When the laser disappeared, Xehanort recovered and summoned his Keyblade again. The armor figure transformed his Keyblade back to its default form and ran after Xehanort. The figure jumped into the air and engaged in a sword fight.

"He's so strong.", said Rogue.

"Is that really Aqua and Ven's friend?", wondered Sherria.

Seeing the fight, Ven shouted, "Terra!" Ven then started to go after them, but he was stopped by Aqua.

"No, Ven!", she said.

"But-"

Both Ven and Aqua noticed something in the sky.

"Them first.", she said.

Everyone looked up and saw dozens of Flutterings flying in the sky. Shadows started to crawl out of the cave and everyone felt an earthquake. A dark portal appeared behind them and the Demon Tide burst out of the portal.

Sora summoned his Keyblade to fight them, but Aqua and Ven ran in front of them with their Keyblades in hand.

"We'll hold off the others.", said Aqua.

"Okay.", said Sora. "We've got this!"

"That is a lot of enemies.", said Macao.

"So what?", said Natsu. "It's now or never. IT'S AN ALL-OUT WAR!"

Everyone shouted a battle cry as they charged towards the monsters.
