Chapter 17 - Sailor Moon Turned Evil? A Love Confusion

In the previous chapter, Serena and Keith were having their own private time together in a hot springs. After that, they went to the Space Mall to eat at the restaurant but however they were been called by Princess Allura, telling that there was a big emergency that the Dark Moon armies had been attacked the planet Earth and even Duel Academy, and so the team defenders decided to go back before it was too late. On the other hand, Emerna, the commander of the Dark Moon, had been given an item by the sorceress and witch of the Galra Empire Haggar, to used against Sailor Moon and the paladins of Voltron. But unbeknownst to them, Alto had been secretly heard their conversation, thinking that Emerna had been betrayed and he flee from the place. Back on planet Earth, the group were surprised that Merla was behind of all the sudden attacks.

Meanwhile in the Dark Moon palace, Princess Diamond was watching at the crystal ball, seeing that Sailor Moon and Keith were together and then, she was enraged with jealousy. The other members were surprised of her new attitude.

Commander Emerna went back, went approached to the princess, seeing her attitude.

" Is there's something a matter, Your Highness? "

She turned her back, saying " Oh, you had came back, Commander Emerna. I had learned that the Dark Warriors had been turned their backs away from us. "

" I guess they were healed by the leader of the legendary robot Voltron. I might be thought that he has an incredible power ability that it can transform back into their original selves. "

" I see about it. But, he will never run away from me.. but this time, I will make him mine and mine for sure. "

" Hold on.. are you really satisfied that the paladin leader was looked like the future king of the Galra Empire.. that you had been totally obsessed with? "

" Yes, it is. No other woman could have him especially that moon warrior brat.. and I'm 100 percent sure that I will be succeeded. " with an evil laughter on her face

The commander, was very curious of what she had said. But she didn't know that Alto was secretly watching from behind from the door, heard of what they are talking about, and then he left away without anyone to be noticed.

In order to make sure that Emerna was the betrayer, Alto secretly sent one of the spies to keep eye on her strange actions just in case if there is something bad happens.

As the spy left, Alto thought " I will never tell this secret to the princess and to queen as well.. I have to make sure that she had been betrayed the glorious name of the Dark Moon. Only I could tell to them at the right time. "

Back when, Sailor Moon along with Keith were finally went in inside of Duel Academy.

" So, this is the place where Tom and Jerry were studying at? "

" Yes, it is. They are graduated 2 years ago. Jerry was at the Silfer Red dorm while Tom was at the Obelisk Blue dorm. "

" I see about it. Mr Jerry was placed in Silfer Red dorm, huh? I guess he was on Sir Jaden's side, right? "

" Yes, actually Jerry was his secret apprentice. I had been told you that from before. "

" Oh, I get it now. I guess we must get hurry. I might be thinking that Queen Merla had been planned something very badly. "

" Might be it is... "

After a few minutes of running, the two were finally arrived at the duel arena in which they found Queen Merla was standing at the center while she held Jaden as a hostage bait.

They were surprised when they sees her.

" Heh, I had never expected that you two will come together all the way here to stopped me, what a shame. " the evil queen said, with wicked amusement on her face

" I had never thought that you were came here to attacked planet Earth, my precious homeland .Haven't you out of your senses that how many people that you had been hurting with? " Keith asked, with a harsh voice manner

The queen was surprised of what he had said and she responded, still with amusement " Oh my, I guess you are quite very harsh you were, paladin Keith. Are you trying to protect your beloved homeplanet? Trying hard was quite so very useless. After all, you will never run away from me this time. " and her expression turned into an evil smirk on her face

But Sailor Moon stepped forward, defending him " I won't let you to lay a finger on him and let the other one go, Merla! "

Merla was laughed of what she had said

" Really? You wanted to set your ex boyfriend free? Well, just give paladin leader Keith to me instead. " she said

Keith was surprised of what she had said.

" Don't ever listen to that evil witch said, Serena! She was trying to tricked you. " Jaden shouted in a loud voice

" So.. what you will gonna say, Sailor Moon? surrender the paladin leader to me and set your ex boyfriend free? the choice was yours to decide. " Merla asked

Sailor Moon, was confused of what she will gonna say next and she thought " What should I do? If I will gonna surrendered Keith to her and then it will be totally over. I cannot let exchange him to the person who I had been truly cares for also... "

" So, have you already made up your mind, Sailor Moon? " Merla asked, with a little amusement on her face

" Serena! Don't do this just for my sake! Don't do it. " Keith said, in a pleaded manner

" Keith.. " Sailor Moon uttered, as she looked at him, in a different facial expression

But suddenly, a flame attack came in, attacking Queen Merla in process, knocked her down on the floor.

" I cannot let an evil ruler just like you to be manipulated a person's mind and heart! "

They were surprised by the voice.

" Wait.. I knew that voice was.. it was actually.. " Sailor Moon uttered

It was no other than Jerry Mouse along with his ace monster, Mouse Dragon alongside with Tom.

" Mr Jerry! Mr Thomas! You guys! " Keith said, with a surprise expression on his face

The two went approached to them.

" Are you two alright? " Tom asked

" Yes, we're fine. Hold on, how do you know that we were here? " Keith asked

" Well, Jerry sensed it through his mind that there will be a demand exchange challenge so that why we asked permission to Sir Shiro to go after you two. " Tom answered in response

" I see about it. Thanks for backing us up. I don't know if Serena will gonna give me to that evil witch. " Keith said

" Nah, no problem at all. We were in a team, you know that. " Jerry said

After that, Sailor Moon went approached to Jaden.

" Are you alright? "

" Yes, I'm fine, Serena. Thanks for saving me again. "

And she helped him to stand up.

" It was good to see you again, Sir Jaden. " Keith said

" You too, Sir Keith. I had been heard that you will gonna marry Serena, right? " Jaden responded

" Yes, it is. But don't you worry, I won't ever do anything bad to her, I promise. " Keith said, in a casual manner

Jaden smiled of what he had said. But their short reunion was interrupted when Queen Merla can able to stand up again from knocking down.

" Do you think you mere creatures had won yet? "

" Oh, no.. this is can't be good.. " Tom said, with a freaking surprise expression on his face

Sailor Moon steps forward in, holding her Eternal Tiare, facing at her with a different facial expression. This makes the queen was very irritate, trying to attacked her but then the booming voice of Princess Diamond was heard, calling her out, making the others were surprised.

" My queen, you shall retreat away immediately. There will be some changes in our plans. "

" But, I'm the ruler of the Dark Moon, you cannot ordered me just like that! "

" But... I'm far more superior than you, you know that, Merla. It makes sense that you had no chance to eliminate the moon warrior and the paladins of Voltron. "

" But I'm not done yet with he-"

" That is an order, got that?! " with a fit of anger

And so, the queen resigned herself, turned her back away from them. But before she left, she said to Sailor Moon " This is not over yet, Sailor Moon! I will gonna destroyed you and your precious homeplanet and of course to make the leader of the paladins mine for good. "

This makes Keith was shocked in surprised while Jaden looked at him, with curiosity.

Then, Merla retreat away, through black mists. On the other hand, her remaining armies were retreat away also, leaving the Duel Academy island.

Back when, Keith was fell collapsed on the floor after the evil queen had been left.

Jerry and Tom rushed to his aid.

" Sir Keith! Are you okay? " Jerry asked

Sailor Moon rushed to him as well. Tom checked his temperature through tapping on his forehead. After that, he said " I think he got a high fever and he was very tired due to massive exhaustion in every missions. "

Shiro, arrived in, was shocked of what he had saw, rushed to his aid, asking " What was the matter with him? "

" He fell collapsed after that evil queen had been left. He was so very shocked when the evil queen had been mentioned him. " Jaden answered in response

" Shiro, he has a high fever due to tiredness and exhaustion. " Jerry said to him

" We shall bring him to the clinic immediately. Just called Princess Allura and the others. " Sailor Moon said to Jerry

" You got it, Serena. " Jerry responded and he runs off

She paused for a moment, looking at him.

A few hours later, Keith regained consciousness again, with the other paladins, Tom, Jerry, Coran along with Jaden and Tuffy were surrounded him. Sailor Moon, was on the other side, was very delighted.

" Where.. am.. I? " Keith wondered

" You are here in the clinic, Keith. We are so glad that you are okay now. " Tom said in response

" Ugh! you gave a heart attack that much." Lance said, with a little nervous expression on his face

" Where was the evil Queen Merla anyway? If I see that evil witch again, I will gonna crushed her off! " Pidge asked, with fury on her face

" She had been retreated away, was been ordered by Princess Diamond, their second in command of the Dark Moon. " Jerry said in response

" And top of that, I might be thinking that they are hating each other for an unknown reason. " Sailor Moon stated

" What do you mean by that, Sailor Moon? Don't telling me that they were arch rivals or something? " Hunk asked

" I'm not so sure. But somehow, we have to be more extra cautious. The Dark Moon forces know where we were lived with and besides that, these two rulers are secretly in love and obsessed to Keith. " Sailor Moon responded

" But the question is... why these evil female rulers wants Keith from the very first place? " Coran wondered

Sailor Moon, tapped his forehead through her hand, saying with confidence " Don't worry, Keith. I won't those evil rulers might harmed you, I swear. "

" Do you really think so, my dear? " he asked

She smiled and said " Of course "

The two are looking at each other, in a romantic manner.

But they didn't know that Dark Astre, was watching from the outside of the window, getting jealous than ever, thinking that Keith had " stole " Sailor Moon away from him, and he flew away from the place.

Later that night, while the others are so very busy. Jaden went approached to Shiro, was looking at the window, gazing at the stars in the skies.

" Um, Sir Shiro. "

He turned his back, said " Oh, it was you, Sir Jaden. Why are you here? "

" Taking a fresh air perhaps. my secret apprentice Jerry and Thomas were been assisted in every parts of the island. I had never expected that this is will gonna be happened just like this.. a sudden attack invasion. "

" I'm afraid so, Sir Jaden. But somehow, we have to be more extra cautious. Somehow, things are getting much worst that these two rulers wanted to ruled the entire universe. "

" I see about it. But, I need to asked you for something. "

" Yes, and what's that? "

" How did you and Sir Keith know each other from the very beginning? Come to think of it, you act like a brother figure to him. "

" Well, you see.. " with a deep sigh and he went on " as you see... after his father died, he had been attended the Galaxy Garrison school. Unlike the other children, he was act so very rash and sometimes getting lonely and being bullied, is because everyone thinks that his parents were gone. And so, I had teached some good ways and manners. I was been a commanding teacher at that time. "

" I see it now... that Keith was far more different from any other people despite he was born with half breed type. "

" Exactly it is. I will gonna do everything I can, in order to guide him in the right path. "

The next morning, Keith was finally recovered from illness, stand up from the bed. Pidge sees him, while she carried a box that it was filled with technologic items.

" Oh, it was you, Keith. You are finally recovered. "

" Where was Serena? "

" She was at the outside, in the Castle of Lions, helping Coran in fixing some of the wirings. "

" I guess I have to check on her just to make sure that she needs my help. "

" Okay, suit yourself. "

And he left the room.

On the other hand, Serena along with Coran was fixing up the wirings in inside of the Castle of Lions.

Coran, turned his head, saying " Well, we are almost done fixing it up. I guess you are started to getting hardworking that much despite that you are getting married to Keith. "

" Yeah, sure of. " with a smile on her face

They both stand up.

" Shall we take a break, Miss Serena? "

" Sure no problem at all, Coran. "

But suddenly, black mists appeared before them.

" What was that? " with a surprise on his face

And Astre appeared before them, with a wicked amusement on his face.

" Well, Well. I had never expected that you are here, my dear Sailor Moon. "

" Dark Aster! What do you want this time? to took me out?! " she asked, with an anger on her face

" Do you know that guy? Who was he? " Coran asked, with a shocking expression on his face

" One of the members of the Dark Moon forces, Dark Aster. " Sailor Moon answered in response

" Eh? " Coran reacted in a surprise manner

" Oh, my.. trying to shut me out, my dear Sailor Moon? You had no reason to fret me just like that. After all, I had really wanted your love that much. " Aster said, with amusement on his face

" I don't really care, Aster! I had been already engaged to Keith, got that?! And besides, I'm not interested at you, really.. got that? So, just leave me alone! " Sailor Moon demanded

This makes Aster was enraged, and that very moment, he opened his dark third eye ability, to make her to be immoblize.

" I cannot able to move... what is this? Is this is kind of a dark power ability or something? "

" You are mine now, my moon queen. " Aster said in an evil hissing voice manner

And she closed her eyes and felled unconscious.

A few seconds later, Keith and the other paladins along with their allies were arrived in, saw of what happened and they were surprised of what they had saw.

" Who was that guy? Why he was been targeting Sailor Moon? " Tom wondered

When Keith sees Aster using his power ability to seize Sailor Moon, he steps in, said in a demand manner " Let her go, you man eater! "

Aster laughed in an evil manner, said to him with an amusement " I will never. She was mine and mine forever. No one can able to stopped me for real. "

Then, Astre carried her away and leaved off, through teleporting. The other paladins and their allies were shocked in astonished, with a little curiosity on their faces.

" What in the world was going on? " Hunk wondered

" This is can't be good... Now that the Dark Moon had been targeting Sailor Moon as well. " Allura said

" Who was that evil man anyway? Why he wants Serena anyway? " Jerry asked

" I guess I'm not so sure, Mr Jerry. I might be thinking that man came from the Dark Moon forces perhaps. I had thinked that he had wants Sailor Moon for a main reason or something. " Allura answered in response

" What will gonna do? Who will gonna rescued her? We had don't know where was the exact hideout of the Dark Moon forces was? " Tom asked in a panicked manner

" Maybe I am " Keith said in a casual voice manner

They were surprised of what he had said.

" Wait.. Keith... are you trying... " Lance uttered

" But, Keith. It was too risky to go there! You might be ended up being killed by those Dark Moon armies. " Hunk protested

" I know the risks but Sailor Moon needs my help. She had been saved me many times and now, it was my turn to saved her. " Keith stated

" But.. " Hunk uttered, tried to say something

" Let him be, guys. " Jaden said

" Huh? What do you mean? " Lance asked

Jaden smiled, nodded his head, responded like that he was agreed of Keith said.

Shiro, went approached to him, asked " Are you really sure about this? "

" Of course, Shiro. I will gonna bring her back no matter. I cannot let anyone to lay a finger on her. " he answered

And Shiro smiled of what he had said.

After that, he went up to his Black Lion and flew away, going to the hideout of the Dark Moon, to rescued Sailor Moon from Aster's dark clutches.

" Good luck, Keith. Serena was counting on you..." Jerry thought, looking up at the skies, watching the Black Lion flew away

Now that the heroine Sailor Moon had been captured by Dark Astre / Aster, Keith had been decided to saved her from his evil clutches, by going to the Dark Moon hideout. On the other hand, Alto sent a spy in order to keep eye on Commander Emerna, just to make sure that she was the traitor or not.

What dangers, threats and challenges that awaits for Keith upon coming back to outerspace? What will be Dark Aster's evil intentions for Sailor Moon / Serena?
