Requested by anonymous: Would it be alright if I could request kagome making sweets for Gintoki, like during the process of making the sweets, she didn't read the instructions properly and it explodes every where and gintoki comes in right after

Pairing: Gintoki Sakata x Kagome Higurashi

Kagome's eyebrow twitched as she saw the burnt chocolate that had exploded from the saucepan. Not only was her view full of chocolate, but the whole kitchen had splatters of the same chocolate. Where the hell had she gone wrong?

Swiping off the chocolate from under her eyes, the miko flipped the page - with chocolate spots - to see the recipe of the cake she had been trying to make. She sighed, seeing she had put the heat too high after misreading the oven had to be that temperature and not the chocolate itself.

She took a look around the kitchen noticing the extra mess she had made. The worst thing was that it was not even her kitchen. Licking her bottom lip, the miko could not help but dread the mess she had to clean before the Yorozuya arrived. The last thing she wanted was for them to see how irresponsible she was in their own home.

'Then again…I am in the home of an irresponsible family.'

Shaking the thoughts away, Kagome made her way to the corner of the kitchen and grabbed the cloth on the shelf. "Guess I should start now."

"My dream was to have endless sweets, but never did I think of having my home covered in it."

Kagome jolted at the familiar voice before she quickly turned to see the silver haired samurai looking around the kitchen. "G-Gintoki-san!"

"Let me guess…my kitchen puked chocolate."

"Close," she sighed, walking over to the stove, "I'm sorry, Gintoki-san. I was trying to make a chocolate cake and I guess making the icing was much more difficult than I thought-" Kagome was left in blinks as she felt the samurai's finger swipe some of the chocolate on the tip of her nose before he took a taste.

"Well, I am a little sad that this cake couldn't be done," he spoke, "it would have been good."

Before the miko could speak once more, Gintoki's finger stopped her as he grabbed some of the chocolate off her cheek. "G-Gintoki-san…what are you doing?"

"Hm?" He blinked blankly. "What do you mean?" He questioned, grabbing some from her lip, "I can't let the chocolate go to waste, right? I am going to get every last drop."
