Requested by crystal-nyx: How about a Durarara! scenario where Kagome gets hurt so Shizuo carries her home. This could be really cute! He is very protective of the people he cares about.

Pairing: Shizuo Heiwajima x Kagome Higurashi

"Damn. They really got a good cut on me."

Hissing at the stinging pain on her arm, Kagome sighed as she saw the blood soak through her white collar dress shirt. She just had to get cut the minute her energy with her miko-ki ran low.

Kagome placed her hand over her arm as she made her way through the empty dark streets of Ikebukuro. Why were cops not doing their jobs anyways?

"Kagome?"

Jumping at the sound of her name with a familiar voice, the miko slowly turned her head over her shoulder to see none other than the feared bartender with a raised brow as he held a cigarette between his fingers.

"H-Heiwajima-san…!?" The miko blinked through tired eyes as she saw the bartender take closer steps towards her person. "What are you doing out here?"

"I should be asking you that." Looking over his lenses, his eyes immediately noticed the red stain below her hand as her fingers gripped the torn shirt. A dark shadow loomed over his expression, "what happened?"

"Huh?" Looking at his line of sight, Kagome shifted her stand to hide the injury. "N-Nothing. I just scraped myself against some metal on my way out from work. Nothing to serious-".

The miko gasped as she saw Shizuo standing in front of her with his hand already having taken away her own from her injured arm. "H-Heiwajima-san!?"

Shizuo's eyes scrunched as he saw the blood slowly stream down her pale skin. This was no scrape; this was a clean cut from a blade. He returned his gaze to the nervous miko before he spoke. "Who did this to you, Kagome?" He growled between words.

"It's nothing!" She pulled away. "The Yellow Scarfs just thought I was part of the Dollars. Don't worry, I was able to handle the stupid teens." She was part of no gang, but that did not mean she was weak to not be able to handle herself. Looking away, the miko sighed, wanting nothing more than to take a shower and-

A loud gasp escaped Kagome's lips as she found herself being picked up bridal style by Shizuo's arms. "Heiwajima-san! Put me down!"

"I am taking you home and then I am dealing with those bastards," he scoffed.

"W-Wait! No! Stop!"

She knew those boys were doomed and if not…dead.
