Anime: Akatsuki no Yona x Inuyasha

Pairing: Shin-Ah x Kagome Higurashi

The shouts of her companions rung in the princess's ears. Looking over her shoulder, her red pupils widened at the sight of the arrows stampeding towards her. How did Soo-Won's army find her? They had been hiding so well!

"Hime!" Hak shouted before he collided weapons with one of the soldiers. "Run! Hime!"

"Yona-chan!" Exclaiming from the top of his lungs, Yoon watched as the princess froze in her state. Everyone else was dealing with their own opponents they had completely disregarded the army hiding higher ground to ambush them all.

Yona's pupils shook, watching the arrows close their distance. Shutting her eye sight, she was prepared to feel the piercings of the arrows into her skin. The stingy pain as blood slowly oozed out of her open wounds. She was ready to collapse back and never get up.

But the pain never came.

The sound of arrows dropping like dead flies caught the red headed princess's attention. Opening her eye lids slowly, she blinked as she noticed a person standing before her with her arms stretched forward. "W-Who are you…?"

The four dragons, Hak, and Yoon blinked as the rest of the soldiers had halted their movements. All eyes landed on the mysterious black haired female wearing a brown cloak. The mysterious thing was the pink barrier having been placed in front of her and their princess.

"Yona-hime," Shin-ah spoke, making his way to the frozen princess, "are you okay?"

"Uh, h-hai…". She nodded, eyes glued on the miko's back. 'I was saved.'

Looking up, Shin-ah blinked behind his mask as he saw the miko slowly turn her head to them and noticed the concerned expression. An immediate blush popped over the blue dragon's cheeks as he saw the beauty of the unknown female.

"Are you hurt?" The miko questioned, kneeling down in front of Yona's view.

"N-No…," Yona shook her head. "Arigatou."

"Who are you?" Shin-ah cut in, catching the miko's attention. The sudden smile on the miko's lips made his cheeks burn. He was thankful for the first time for having a mask.

"A wandering miko," she replied. "Ik-soo-san told me there would be a princess in need of help. So here I am." Although she was taken by the well once more to a different world, she did not mind the new task she was given.

If she could be of use then she would use her abilities to protect those that needed it.
