On a lesser note... She just admitted that she loves him. She didn't know it yet.
Rock had to sneeze a bit before he came up with the torpedo to the attack chopper plan...but he knew what it meant. He smirked, he should get a ring
He was now a taken man... Oh god was the ring ceremony going to be a bitch.
Long distance marriage is a hassle
After kageyama aquired the flash drive containing the nuclear plans. He agreed to transfer Rock to the Lagoon company. Which was after a strong intimidating show by Hotel Moscow.
To learn Rock wasn't coming home was a vicious kick in the gut that Kanra wasn't prepared for.
She took her rage out against the Asashi corporation. 5 board members convicted of weapons trafficking. 6 of adultery. Mr Kageyama, assassination, conspiracy to commit murder.
In short, for leaving her newly declared husband to die... She destroyed the entire corporation... It went bankrupt in days.
Nothing on earth would be safe if they harmed her husband. It was weird, they didn't even sleep in the same room... But she was certain that no other man could touch her.
Kanra shook herself out of the thoughts and continued on the research in front of her. It was about Hotel Moscow, a Russian Black ops force. They were incredible, indomitable, unrelenting. They gave "scorched earth" a new meaning... Something that hasn't been done since the union general of the american civil war... Known as Sherman.
And The Soviet Union kept these people a secret. Men and women who could destroy entire countries in a matter of days. Even worse? The dishonorable discharge all of them... They had no option but to turn organized crime... Then they became the go to fixers for the Russians. No one dared fuck with them. Whatever they wanted dead, got dead.
Kanra was having a hard time with the data she had seen.

Kanra managed to highjack the encrypted line the Lagoon was using.. and heard Rock's plan to evade the attack chopper...
Launching a torpedo after jumping in a boat? It was crazy... But exactly why she loved him...
And it worked... It pierced the bullet proof glass of the mig the mercs where using.
And that was full circle. Rock was alive. His former company was absolutely Dead, his current job payed better.
No one knew about her. She gained a rep for dismantling a major industry company. She could charge a 300 percent mark up.
The only real change was that the Queen of Roanapur knew of her existence. And that was unsettling.
But Kanra had a backup. In the form of her Daughter. Natalia,... Or (by her current alias) Verona. Drakon wasn't related to the girl at all. He was just an officer the queen respected... The princess quickly showed her mother's traits. An indomitable will. And unrelenting spirit and a viciousness only fit for war.
Kanra had to go through at lot to learn this... Bribes in the millions USD range. All to make sure Rock was safe down there.
She also noticed that it hadn't taken long for Rock to acclimate to crime. Though it wasn't suprising when she considered the Lagoon crew. Dutch: an American war vet with more morals than sense. Revy: a chinese american gutter rat who's been through some shit. Knows how to kill. Benny: a jewish hacker who got too bold and stole from Both the FBI'S over funded accounts and the mafias secret accounts... Revy had to save his ass. Rock was the odd one out. A japanese man among Americans. But they accepted him like it didn't matter.
He was never coming back. And that made her 23 year old person sad.
