Meeting pinkie pie
Shadow laying unconscious in a clearing of the everfree forest. How he get there? Well, to put it simply, an ancient temple teleported him and the others, as well as eggman, to Equestria. Pinkie pie was looking for a special gem that she had lost in the everfree forest a couple days ago. She trotted along the path, oblivious to the danger of the forest. Then all of a sudden, she a warping sound. She stopped and looked through the trees. No pony was following her. 'who could have made that noise?'
she then herd faint breathing and saw a green light. Her curiosity rose, and pinkie began to walk off the path and into the dense shrub. She reached a clearing, and could not believe her eyes. There, laying on the ground, was an black and red, anthropomorphic, hedgehog. Pinkie gasped. She didn't know how to respond. Shadow was just laying there. She stepped towards the hedgehog. "Is... Is it dead?" She trotted nearer.
Pinkie sat next to the unconscious Shadow . She put her ear to his chest. She giggled slightly from the softness of shadow's chest hair. Boom boom. He was alive all right. Pinkie pie looked over to his hand to see a green chaos emerald. "That kinda looks like the one I lost." Pinkie didn't know what to do now. 'should I wait for it to wake up?' pinkie thought for a moment. She propped him on her back, and ran to Zecora's hut. "No. I can't just leave it out here." As she ran, she talked to herself about it. "Should I go to Twilight's? No. She's not too familiar with the creatures in this forest. Should I tell the others?... Nah. I can tell them when this hedgehog wakes up." She got nearer to Zecora's. "Yeah. Maybe zecora can help me. She does live in the forest after all." Her running slowed as she approached the door.

"ugh..." Shadow moved his hand onto his head. he kept his eyes closed as he slowly sat up. His head was facing downward. He opened his eyes slowly to see that he was laying on a cot, with a cup of tea at his side. He let his hand fall to his side as he slowly started to scan the room. Shelves of different colored potions, flowers, and empty containers littered the walls. The floor was dirt, and beside shadow was a small window leading out to the forest. Shadow was fully awake now, his mind filling with questions. Then, he herd two people talking to one another. One had a high, bubblely voice, and the other had a deep, mysterious voice.
"Is he okay?" "Do not fret. He'll wake up soon yet." The two voices stopped for a moment before continuing. " I have never seen a creature like him before. Perhaps, he's more." The voices got closer to the room. "That's what I was thinking! Oh, maybe he can talk like us! " Shadow saw the silhouette of... A pony? No, wait, two? Zecora and pinkie pie entered the room. Shadow's eyes widened. He could not believe what he was seeing. He looked at the pink pony and noticed her eyes. They felt... Familiar. 'Maria?' Shadow's mouth was agape at the two. Zecora stared at him. Pinkie pie, on the other hand, gasped and grinned ear to ear. "Oh my goodness!" She zoomed up to him and started talking really fast. Shadow was still in a state of shock. 'is this real?' he blinked and came back to reality.
"Uh, excuse me, uh..."
Pinkie pie stopped. "My name's pinkie pie. Nice to meet you. " Shadow slinked off the bed. "Uh, nice to meet you too, I guess. But where am I?" "Why," pinkie pointed out the window,"you're in the everfree forest!" "Everfree forest?..." "I take it your not from here. Do you live anywhere near?" Shadow looked at zecora. "No, I am not. Actually, I'm not even sure I'm from this world." Zecora nodded. "Well, I bet zecora will let you stay here." Pinkie stood next to him. "Sounds like a plan." "Are you sure I can?" Shadow asked her. "Of course you can." Zecora replied. Pinkie walked up to her. "Now, pinkie, don't-" but just like that, she ran off. "I guess it's just you and me now." Shadow noted. Zecora agreed.
At twilight's Castle...
Twilight was organizing her books with her friends. "Thanks so much for your help girls." Applejack gave a book to rarity, who dusted it off, who gave it to Fluttershy to put away. "You don't need to thank us." Fluttershy insisted. "This just what we do." Applejack finished. "I know. I just want to know where pinkie pie and rainbow dash are." Just as twilight said that, pinkie pie rushed in. "Twilight, twilight! You won't believe what I found!" The 4 lost their concentration and dropped some books. Pinkie appeared in the doorway. "What is it this time Pinkie?" Twilight sighed walking towards her. Just as Pinkie Pie was about to answer, rainbow dash flew in. "Twilight! I just found an unconscious, two-legged,hedgehog!" Everypony gasped. "And I think he can speak!"
I could have made this longer, but time (and school work) is not on my side. Also, The end is coming. Don't worry, I'll put a lot of effort into it. After that, I have an epilogue, then the story will be done. The only other thing I will do with this story is updating the old chapters so people can actually read them XD. Write you later!
