Their opponents weren't capable of feeling pain. Giru knew this as an advantage and disadvantage simultaneously for them. While they may not be able to feel pain and thus are able to continue fighting through what could be debilitating wounds, eventually they'll take an attack that their body simply cannot handle.

"EVERYONE! THEY CAN'T FEEL PAIN!" Giru shouted as he pulled himself free of the rubble.

The Shadow Keepers reacted with a mixture of surprise and confusion. If their opponents couldn't feel pain, then the only outcome would have to be to knock them out, or possibly kill them.

'Well that makes things a little more odd' she thought to herself. While still feeling little to no threat from this group, she had continued gathering information from each of their minds as the battle raged on. What she could grasp was the appointed captain of the naval base was a greedy woman, and had very little sympathy for anyone that didn't have the money to catch her attention. Crimes were looked over for the right price, and crimes were outright encouraged against those who refused to pay. Giru's hangup about killing 'good marines' wouldn't matter much here. Aside from a small selection from this group they were fighting, most of these soldiers had already given in to the corruption. Either way she probably wasn't needed for this battle, that is unless someone actually got hurt. But, she could make things a bit easier for her allies. A pink hue arose in her eyes ad Ayumi selected the five good hearted marines that existed in this combat, engulfing them in a translucent pink light and lifting them into the air.

"There, Giru. Your 'good hearts'. Now please wrap this up."

Just as he teleported out of the way of incoming bullets, Giru would hear the 'all clear' from Ayumi. Turning his head to her and noticing the pink shine, he glanced up to see five floating marines, waving their arms wildly. He gritted his teeth as his attention shifted back to the gunmen, jumping above them and slamming down on top of their heads. "You're missing the point! Blatant murder isnt how we should do things!" He shouted in response, blocking two spears with his tentacles. "Have these guys really done anything so vile that we should kill them for it!? Or are they-"

Giru was interrupted by a rather large marine brandishing a double sided axe, using his tentacles to knock it off the path of hitting him.

The marine smirked as he lifted the axe out of the gash it created in the ground. "You got this shit twisted, doncha? YOU'RE the bad guy here, octoman!" He spat out before wildly swinging the axe again. Giru continued dodging, backing away from the man. It was rather easy, given the heavy weight of the axe and predictable swings. But with every swing, Giru got angrier. He WAS the bad guy. The marines would accuse him of a littany of offenses and paint him as a villain. Ayumi was invalidating his orders. Hell, Ayumi wasn't even FIGHTING! The damn marines couldnt even feel the attacks! This was supposed to be their debut in the world of pirates! This was supposed to be their first bounty!

The demon man's face contorted into a wide variety of pained, struggling expressions as he came to a stop, the blade of the axe sinking deep into his arm. Blood ran down the metal curve as Giru bared his teeth, breathing erratically, balling his fists and quaking with rage.

The Marine laughed upon seeing his attack connect, pulling his axe out and going for a second swing!

As the axe was still in midair, the shaking stopped and Giru's expression dropped to neutral.

The axe was caught. Giru leaned his head up, revealing the vibrant, crimson glow of rage in his eyes.

'Honestly you're making this really easy for me. Have fun!'

Giru's eyes flashed with enough vibrance to turn the area around him red. His grip strengthened and shattered the blade as he tentacles rammed through the marine's torso. His voice blended with the distortion of Akuma as they spoke two words:

"NO SURVIVORS!"
