Kei-Kei Yuki: So I have not watched, The Last as of it yet. I only saw a few clips and read up on a certain character, but I will sometime soon! I might write out the last before I even finish this story, as I already have an idea of how I want to bring Sasuke and Naruko together.

Festival-Part 3

Walking inside a small place selling a variety of ice-cream themed desserts, Naruko had once again goaded Sasuke into buying her food. After just retrieving their order, the two were about to take a seat when they spotted Iruka sitting down next to Kakashi-sensei. "Ruka-nee, what are you doing with Kakashi-sensei?" Naruko asked after taking a seat across from the two adults, Sasuke silently sitting down next to her.

"Oh we ran into each other earlier and we've been stuck to each other's side since, but what about you? Shouldn't you be with Sakura, Ino, and Hinata?" Placed in front of the brunette was some kind of matcha flavored ice cream dessert, decorated with edible chocolate made to look like sakura flowers. Nothing was placed in front of Kakashi, seeing how he was not a man who favored sweet desserts.

"I was with them, but I lost them. Oh, look what Neji won for me!" Sasuke twitched upon hearing that name, feeling annoyed with the way Naruko was happily showing off the stupid goldfish the Hyuuga won for her.

"Oh, that was nice of him!" smiled Iruka; next to her, Kakashi noticed how Sasuke seemed upset towards Naruko's gift and smirked.

"Maa, Neji-kun is quite the gentleman, isn't that right, Sasuke? So tell me have you won anything for our dear Naru-chan?" Sasuke knew Kakashi was up to no good and was probably just trying to rile him up, but he couldn't stop his anger from rising. So what if he didn't win the stupid goldfish for her; if dobe wanted something else, he'd definitely win it for her just to show that he was much better than that freaking Hyuuga!

Staying a while to chat, Iruka secretly watched the interaction between Sasuke and Naruko and wondered to herself just when the two had gotten so close? Back in the academy, Naruko couldn't stand being around Sasuke and vice versa, but now they were sitting next to each other, holding a civilized conversation. A sight Iruka thought she would never see, but then again, Sasuke and Naruko always held a special type of relationship.

After finishing her dessert, Naruko grabbed Sasuke but not before wishing the adults goodbye, and raced out the door saying how she wanted to try some more snacks. Eyes on the smiling woman next to him, Kakashi asked, "Iruka-sensei, mind telling me the reason behind that smile of yours?" Shooting her eyes towards the famous Copy-Cat Ninja, Iruka debated whether or not she should indulge her thoughts to him.

"Nothing, just thinking how opposite can really attract one another." Getting the hint, Kakashi mentally agreed with the woman, wondering just how Sasuke and Naruko's future would play out.

Sasuke regrouped with Naruko, after running off when something caught the Uchiha's eye. During his disappearance, Naruko had helped out a boy who had his ball stolen by a bunch of bullies. Reuniting with Sasuke, the blonde told him all that happened while he was away, but when she wanted to show him the boy, he was gone. This confused Naruko until she felt something soft and cuddly in her arms.

Shoved in her arms was a cute small plushie of a red fox; Naruko remembered staring fondly at it when she was walking around with Sasuke. Pointing her blonde eyes towards her raven-haired teammate, Naruko saw that the Uchiha had refused to face her. "I saw you staring at it stupidly earlier and decided to get it for you," Sasuke coldly said to her yet Naruko could sense his sincere affection, cradling the fox in her arms.

Since she was young Naruko had two favorite types of animals, frogs and foxes, and while she had a bunch of frog plushies back at home, there were barely any foxes. Due to how most people in Konohagakure detested foxes because of the Kyuubi no Yoko; because of it, foxes became the number one hated animal in the village but Naruko felt a bond with foxes. Her people judged and treated foxes with misguided judgment, but to Naruko they were beautiful and crafty creatures.

Feeling something tug on his shirt, Sasuke turned around only to be met with a soft smiling expression from the blonde. "Thank you, Sasuke!" It was something about that smile that tugged at Sasuke's heart, feeling this urge to hold and give Naruko everything she ever wanted. His pale fingers slip from out of his pockets, moving to brush against those scarred pink chubby cheeks, asking himself why he wanted to hold her so bad when an eruption of an explosion set off.

Looking towards the sky, thousands of colorful fireworks lit up the cloudless dark skies, bringing Sasuke back to reality. The Uchiha asked himself why his feelings towards Naruko were so complicated. How come every night he closed his eyes, she was always there in his dreams? Feeling this sudden urge of protectiveness overwhelmed him whenever he saw her hurt or sad.

Sasuke was brought out of his musings when he felt Naruko reach out and hold his hand, blue eyes staring up at the sky in awe. There was something about that look that made Sasuke realize something grave and that was... Uzumaki Naruko had become someone important to him and that thought scared Sasuke. Why? Because the young Uchiha was cursed with having those important to him taken away and he couldn't afford to lose her. Not now... or ever.

Feeling a ball hit her feet, Naruko reached down and retrieved it. Hearing footsteps make their way in her direction, standing back straight on her feet, Naruko saw a young boy around her age with brown hair and gold eyes, smiling at her. "Hey, is this your ball?" asked Naruko. The boy was about to answer her when out of nowhere a bunch of loud voices rang out.

Hearing this scared the boy who ran and hid behind Naruko; seeing this confused the blonde. Soon she saw three frowning boys around the similar age of herself and the boy who was currently using her as a shield. "Hey, runt give us that ball. We won it fair and square!" Hearing how this jerk referred to her, ticked the famous hot-temper blonde off, clutching the ball tighter in her hands.

"Lies! I was the one who won it, but they stole it away from me," fearfully confessed the boy, trembling hands clutching the back of Naruko's yukata. This revelation only further ticked off the smaller kunoichi, glaring her blue orbs at the group of boys.

"Scram, before I lose my temper!" Naruko warned the bullies, only for them to scoff at the smaller girl.

"Oh, and what are you going to do about it, pipsqueak!?" taunted the main leader, unaware that he just sealed his own fate. Cockily staring down at the tiny girl, he eyed her trembling fingers and shoulders. Her blonde bangs casted a shadow over her eyes, causing her to miss when the boy suddenly ogled her up and down and thought to himself.

'This girl is quite cute. Maybe after I scare her I can get her to go out with me.' The idea of going out with such a cute girl brought delight to the boy, off in his own fantasy, but was shortly brought back by a scream of pain. Turning his head towards the left, he saw the blonde's fist extended out and a foot away lied his comrade.

The poor boy was bleeding from his mouth, a tooth lying on the ground beside him. The leader couldn't believe his eyes, unable to believe this pint-sized cute girl was able to produce such damage. Turning her livid blue eyes towards the boy who insulted her, Naruko smirked sadistically at him as she watched him flinch from fear.

"Oi, do you not know who you're talking to?" Her knuckles made a sickening popping noise that spelled the boy's doom, taking fearful steps back as Naruko stalked towards his way.

"The name's Uzumaki Naruko, future Hokage, and the thing that you should know about me is that I love kicking ass and taking names. Especially towards those who insult me, dattebayo!" The brown-haired boy watched as Naruko beat the bully until he was black and blue, venting her full anger. After watching what she did to his friend, the third boy ran off crying.

Once her job was finished, Naruko dusted off her hands and handed the boy his ball. "Here you go! Make sure you hold on tight to it and don't let anyone else steal it," Naruko sternly told the boy, hands sitting on her hips.

"Why did you help me?" the boy asked, sounding as if he anticipated Naruko not lending a hand to help him.

"Huh? Because it's the right thing to do! Plus, I hate bullies!" stated Naruko, hands folded over her chest. The boy did nothing but silently stare at the blonde before a small gentle smile broke out on his face.

"You are definitely different from the others. The soul you possess is utterly pure and untainted unlike the rest of them." The boy's words made no sense to Naruko, but before she could question him, she turned her head when she heard Sasuke's voice call out to her. Running to catch up with the Uchiha, Naruko explained what recently took place, pointing her fingers towards the boy, only to see an empty area of space where the boy was once standing.

"Huh, where'd he go?"

Secretly watching her from a distance, the boy who Naruko saved began to undergo a slight transformation. His brown hair became white, healthy peach skin turned a milky white pale, the color of his eyes was unknown due to his eyelids being closed.

"Uzumaki Naruko..." His voice was soft and filled with affection as he pronounced her name. "I shall wait until we meet again in the future, my future bride," the boy vowed before he left Earth and returned back to his home on the moon.
