Hello everyone! :D
So...I'm back again. Thanks to CuteTyHil, MagicanPhoenix12, TLP and guests for reviewng. Are you ready?
Warning: A useless fighting scene *Sighs*
Keeping her feet carefully at the nicks of the hillock, clutching the rocky heaps, the coco-haired princess of Japan descended. On the grassy highland, her mare was standing, waiting for the order of its mistress. The dumb beast was grasping the edge of a strong rope with the help of its teeth. Another point of the twine was caught in the hands of the brunette who was trying to help her comrade.
The dragoon-wielder was vulnerably lying on the ground. His head was on the rock which had caused a gash to his temple. The essential liquid of his life drenched the cruel object though it didn't care. It didn't soften a bit, maintaining its usual ruthlessness.
Putting the rope on the surface, she rushed to the injured guy. Kneeling down beside him, the princess revolved him gently, making him face her. A cotton handkerchief was attached to his cloths, hanging from the belt. Loosening the waist-strap a bit, she took it and tried to use it as a bandage, wrapping it around his forehead. The white-colored piece of cloth turned cerise a bit, within no moment.
"Tyson!" She gently shook his shoulders, "Are you hearing?"
No response came back. Sighing, she tied the rope firmly around his waist. Then, she looked at her steed which was fluttering its tail.
"Edora!" She yelled, "Pull the rope!"
Who on the earth said that beasts cannot understand the language of human beings? Wrong he or she was!
The speechless creature lugged the wounded navy-haired guy by the rope tied around him as his motionless body was getting slid against the craggy paths. Hilary put her hands hand beneath his head to keep it intact. The uneven lanes of the hilly area caused a lot of bruises to her soft palms. A few droplets of blood came out from those tiny scrapes. She clenched her teeth in pain. Tears wanted to explode from her eyes. But she didn't stop.
"A bit more, Edora!" She commanded.
She felt that the horse nodded. Then, applying all the strength inside its body, it ran back, not leaving the cord at all. Just in the speed of thunderbolt, the dragoon-wielder was upstretched.
"Thank goodness!" Hilary wanted to leap in rejoice. But feeling the current circumstances, she resisted her temptation. Climbing the hill, she stood beside her mare which was panting, showing its tongue. Its body got soaked in perspiration.
"Good job, Edo-chan," Its rider stroked its back, "Thank you so much. I'm proud of you."
In return, the faithful beast waved its tail. Smiling a bit, the princess gripped Tyson's arm. Throwing another hand around his shoulders, she made him stand up somehow. His head got leaned against her shoulder. She juddered a bit when his cold nasal ridge carelessly stroked her skin. The heavy body of the dragoon-wielder was almost shoving the slender-figured princess towards the ground, but at the last moment, she stopped herself from falling.
"I've to….do it….." The thoughts crawling inside her brain energized her.
She looked at the boy who slumped over her. The bandage on his forehead was getting reddened with blood. His tanned face was becoming paler as each moment was passing.
He might lose his life. She was afraid of it.
'No Hil, at this moment, you're not a woman….' She mused, 'Rather, you're a human being. Act like one of them.'
The lamp of her strength got lit up. Gritting her jaw, she advanced. The horse strode forward to help its mistress.
Somehow, pushing the still figure of her friend on the back of her steed, she broke down on the surface. She was furiously wheezing. She didn't know how she had carried the wounded blunette and placed him on her horse. Her heartbeats increased, her throat started craving for water.
Satiating her lungs with the fresh, oxygenated air of the environment once, she stood up. Riding the mount, she kept one of her hands on Tyson's back so that he couldn't fall. Grappling the rein of the horse with another hand of her, she pulled it as the mare started running, knowing where to go.
It was a roofless fort whose floors and pillars were made of dark grey sarsens. At the places of doors, there was nothing but vacancy. Only a few rectangular eyelets were barely trying to fulfill the absence of windows. However, the columns weren't empty. Almost all the poles of that haunted castle were holding one or two, fastened snugly. The dried smirches of cherry-colored blood were hugging the floors, barriers and pillars of the torture-house. Those non-living supports had tasted the salty rheum of their pain too. Sweat, blood and tears made an inflaming combination there, bringing broad smiles to the faces of the demons who'd abducted those innocent people and held them as captives. Seeing the bloodstains on their bodies, dried tears on their cheeks, their sweat-covered backs, bangs and foreheads, those cruel beasts were bursting out hysterical laughter.
Blood…..their favorite beverage….
"Slim! Fatso!"
Dropping the whips on the ground, the slender-figured man approached the messenger who was on the verge of panting. Huffing, somehow he opened his mouth, "There's a bad news!"
"Bad news?" The fat man tilted his eyebrows, "What happened? Is everything alright?"
"I was hiding behind a tree in the jungle," The runner replied, taking out his tongue like a fatigued dog, "Suddenly, I saw a group of soldiers coming towards our secret base. Two noblemen were leading the battalion. Despite being young, they were looking so strong and courageous. When their mounts were smacking the ground with their hooves, sand was splashing here and there. Their eyes were twinkling with a strange kind of sensation….as if….as if death itself had been staring at us. Looks like….looks like they'll kill us today!"
"Shut the fuck up, you coward!" Fatso snapped, "It's my mistake to appoint such a chicken like you as our messenger!"
"Fatso is right, Stuart," Slim grimaced, "Stop being so dramatic."
"I'm not being dramatic at all, Slim!" The messenger whined, "I'm speaking the truth. I'm telling you what I have seen in front of my eyes."
"Oh, don't worry, chicken," Fatso patted his back, "Even the deities start trembling when they see us. Therefore, those whom you've seen are nothing but mere kids!"
"Sinners!" The choked voice of a captive rose, "Don't consider them as children. They're your death! They're your destruction!"
Grouching, the demons looked back. The words had come from an old sage who was tied to a pillar. The cut on his forehead didn't stop bleeding. The marks of whips didn't vanish from his skin. His body was still shaking. Yet, his voice didn't lose its strength a bit.
"Oh really?" Rolling his eyes, the fat one approached him. Almost crushing his mandibles with his fingers, he queried, "Poor old man, even knocking at the death's door, you're daydreaming."
"It is you who are daydreaming, juicy-heads," He was trembling, not his tone, "Remember, above all, there's one Supreme Being. He won't let us tolerate your tortures! One day, He'll free us from this living hell of you and send you to the original hell….where you belong…."
"Supreme Being?" Slim screwed his eyebrows, "Yeah, I've heard his name. By the way, where's he? If he really exists, why hasn't he appeared yet? Why hasn't he come to rescue you and punish us? Can you kindly tell me?"
"Illiterate fools!" The sage blurted, "You're so unfortunate. You have eyes but you cannot see. You have ears but you cannot hear. When the pots of sinners like you get fulfilled, He sends his messengers on the earth. Those heralds perform their duties accurately."
"Wow, I've to admit that you're a great poet," Fatso clapped, "In this case, where are those messengers? I cannot see them….possibly I've gone blind or they've become invisible…."
"Oh no!" Another demon hurried into the open prison, "Guys, those soldiers have already entered our base. Let's go soon!"
Slim and fatso stared at one another's face, almost baffled. Seeing it, the injured scholar burst out wild laughter.
"Told ya….." His body quivered a bit, "They….they've reached…..for your ultimate demolition…."
"Bastards!" Clenching his teeth, Slim badmouthed, "Fatso, we've to go to the base. Our throats are as lucky as their families are unfortunate. Let's see how much power they've got!"
The entire area was surrounded with high and low hummocks in the shades of black, ash and gray. The sun had set, lidding the sky with nightfall. Thick clouds were roaming there aimlessly, making the high mounds look like estranged widows, heavily mourning for their late husbands. Wearing the cloaks of mysteries, the hills were spreading a haunted feeling despite standing still.
There was the small troop at the entrance of the area. No sooner had the leaders of the gang entered the outpost than several rocks fell on the ground out of the blue.
"Oh no!" The soldiers who couldn't have entered screamed as the princes turned back. Their eyes were horrified while their steeds were screaming as if they'd gone insane. At that time, they could only thank the Creator not for crushing them beneath those blocks. Then again, no profit it brought. There stood a gigantic wall made of stones, separating the princes from the guards. Only the grandsons of Voltaire Hiwatari had been successful to gain an entry into the notorious bastion.
Turning their eyes from the right to the left, the slate-haired young-man got down from its mount. Following him, the redhead descended on the earth too. Right at that moment, a blood-freezing laughter buzzed into their ears. That cackling crunched the quiescence of that night into hundreds of pieces.
Not being nervous a bit, the Russians kept their cool, observing the zone with six vigilant senses of them.
Clouds moved away, leaving a sit for the moon. In her gleaming light, two demons appeared on the pinnacle of a hill. Their bodies seemed made of stones. Their pools were bloodshot like china-roses. Powdered coal was used as their makeup. Beneath their skins, their veins twisted like jute ropes could easily be seen. Their ruffled hair touched their shoulders. The scimitars in their grips sparkled a bit, expressing their thirst for blood. Trailing them, a few tormentors stood there too.
When the Tatars gaped at their eyes, they found those orbs filled with wrath. The monsters licked their lips once, swallowing. The princes felt to be watched by several cobras.
Nah, neither they were frogs, nor were they rats.
"Leave those innocent people," Kai marched, having no sign of emotion all over his face.
"Look!" One of the devils chortled a bit, "A kid has come here to play the role of our advisor."
"Bastards!" The redhead snarled, "Don't dare utter a single word against my brother."
"Tala…calm down…."
Embarrassed a bit, the wolf retreated. Yeah, a single command of him was enough for the red-haired prince.
"I'm warning you for the last time," Kai blinked, "Spare them."
"No, what will you do?" Another mocked.
He hadn't done the right thing at all. Challenging Kai Hiwatari was the biggest mistake of his life. He was going to account for it.
Gnashing his jaw, the phoenix-prince popped out a bunch of arrows along with the bow. Attaching them to the arc, he launched them. In the speed of stormy wind, those darts dashed towards the giants, ending up gouging their chests and heads. Rotating and striding back for two steps, he repeated. This time, a single projectile stabbed six skulls in a row, thanks to its incredible velocity.
"Hiyaa!"
Another group was hurrying towards them, outstretching their weapon-enclosed arms. Not standing motionlessly, the princes counter-attacked. Reaching the muggers, they leaped as their heels thudded the chins of two. As the royal arrows knifed eight more, the princes landed on the chests of those two.
Diving left, the slate-haired boy shot a few more bolts, reddening two or three cannibals. Descending on his back, he rolled a bit and stood up on his own feet again.
The wolf-prince felt too lazy to shoot arrows. Encompassing the bow with his fingers, he thumped it on one's head, splitting it into two equal halves. Blood splashed out, reddening his face. Seeing it, an aggressor held the edge of the semicircle. That wasn't enough to stop Tala. Being clogged, he presented the obstructer a front kick right where his heart was beating. Failing to maintain balance, he fell back. Utilizing the moment, Tala powdered his head too.
Inspired by the redhead, Kai tossed the bow. Curling his fingers into fists, he stormed forward. Seeing an attacker, he threw a punch right at his neck. That poor devil collapsed.
Another jumped on the phoenix-prince. Wrapping the right hand around his neck, the imp tried to choke him. Despite being strangled, the dual-haired Russian managed to raise his left heel and kick at the gut of the fiend. Turning back within no moment, he pulled out a dagger and pierced the assailant with it.
Seeing the prowess of those warriors, the rest of the monsters fled away, turning into bats.
"Hey! Where're you fleeing?" Tala was about to rush towards them.
"Tala….let them go….." Kai was panting.
Looking at his cousin, the redhead routed towards him. Squeezing his shoulders, he asked, "Are you alright, Kai?"
The twin-haired Russian looked at his cousin. His gazes were seeming fatigued. Nonetheless, he nodded in assurance.
"Prince Kai! Prince Tala!"
The obstructed soldiers arrived at the place, encircling the princes. Smiling at them a bit, Kai spoke, "Don't worry soldiers, we're alright."
"Go and free those innocent people." Tala ordered.
"As you say, prince Tala." Bowing, they swiftly left the place, riding their horses.
"Kai, I think we must return to the palace," The redhead voiced, "We both need rest."
"Right you're," Sighing in relief, the dual-haired Russian rode his horse. His comrade followed him, sharing a fist-bump before leaving for the castle.
Why to bother about distances and breadth?
Let's walk like a free spirit,
Because it knows our destinations,
As a storm is there, beneath our feet…
"Sir, will he be alright?"
The blonde worriedly asked the royal physician. Tears were occupying his baby-blue orbs. Standing behind him, the purple-haired girl was sobbing. Her cheeks were pink and eyes turned cerise. She lost the last droplet of her tears too. Before a while, she had wailed a lot. When she'd seen Tyson unconscious and blood-covered, she'd nearly fainted. The healer had had to treat the youngest of the royal members of Japan as well.
"Don't worry, my children," The doctor smiled, assuring them, "He's out of danger now. Though he's lost a lot of blood, he's safe now. Thankfully, Princess Hilary was there. If she didn't come in the palace taking him within the right time, God knows what would…."
"No!" Dew screeched, "Don't…..don't dare utter such words! I…..I would rather kill myself than hear that thing!"
"Calm down, Dew-chan," The royal-blue haired girl patted her shoulders, "He's fine now. Why're you crying?"
"Prince Max," The physician cleared his throat, "I'm leaving now. Take care of him."
"Sure, Sir," The hyperactive American nodded as the practitioner left.
Sighing, the three royal people turned back the purplette who was still weeping. Approaching her, the twin-haired girl squeezed her shoulders, "Dew, are you still lamenting?"
"No, Juli ni-chan….not for that….." She revolved her face, "Look….Oni-chan took care of Tyson well….."
"Of course she did!" Mariam exclaimed in joy, "Excluding Max, she's the best friend of Tyson."
"No….maybe….more than a best friend….." Dew whispered.
"What?" Everyone's eyes became widened.
"What do you mean by it, Dew?" Max frowned, "More than a friend?"
"Yes…." She somehow nodded, "Tyson and Oni-chan have fallen in love with each other."
"Duh!" Mariam chuckled, "Hilary would tell us if she had feelings for Tyson. She never hides anything from us. Even her first period…."
"Senseless girl!" The Spaniard grasped her mouth, "Don't you know what to say here?"
"What?" Mariam fumed up, "You? You're saying that I'm senseless? Then who? Who mixed orange juice with the chicken soup yesterday?"
"I thought that was tomato pickles…."
"Are you color-blind? Cannot you differentiate between red and orange?"
The banter continued. Heaving a sigh, the violet-haired princess came near the room in which her dream prince was resting. Peeping through the windows, she saw him sleeping peacefully. His left ankle and forehead were swathed with fresh white strappings. Beside him, the brunette was sitting, gazing at his tranquil face.
"It's only my fault…Tyson…." She acknowledged with her glittering ruby orbs, "I was there…but I couldn't save you. Forgive me, my friend…."
Her younger sister wasn't able to see it anymore. She ran back from the window. Hearing her footsteps, the coco-haired princess looked behind. Standing up, she opened the door and followed her.
The purple-haired princess was standing at the balcony. The flowery creepers entered there, embracing a tree. Two or three birds were tweeting, letting their sweet voice be heard by the world. The colorful butterflies sat on the flowers for gathering honey. But they couldn't understand her sorrows. Tears blocked her vision. Biting her lower lip, she burst into tears as her heart ached.
Why doesn't he talk to me? I know….he loves Oni-chan. Oni-chan loves him too. Since our childhood, they're loving each other. I….I try to be his friend, I try to speak to him…but he….he just ignores me…Why? Won't he ever feel that I love him? My love for him is true, is original. A princess shouldn't fall in love with the grandson of the prime minister of her kingdom. Despite knowing that….I couldn't help myself falling for him….but he just doesn't respect my feelings for him. Why?
Oni-chan is the ideal girl of Japan. She can write poems, short stories and plays. She can sculpt different objects. Besides, she's skilled in archery and cooking too. But….it doesn't mean that I don't know anything. Oni-Chan cannot dance as beautifully as I can. Her hands tremble when it comes to embroidery. On the other hand, I'm like a professional seamstress. I've a lot of good qualities and skills too. Then why has Tyson fallen for Oni-Chan? Why cannot he see me?
Will I never get his love in this life?
Done!
Listen listen listen...don't need to tell me that, I know the fighting scene sucks xD
Nonetheless...please read and review. Pardon all the grammatical and the spelling errors. Take care :D
