The auditorium was located at the heart of the cave. Outside, the moon was above the heads of the leafless trees, gawking at them sarcastically and showering her narcotic rays on the earth at the same time. An owl was sitting on the dead branch of a tree, glancing at the only asteroid of its living planet. Suddenly, fluttering its wings twice, it flew away. Celestial ears could hear the tree heaving a sigh, expressing its grief of being alone again. Others would just ignore it, assuming it to be nothing but the hovering airstream around the cavern. Only the stripes of light and darkness stayed there, along with the deafening silence.

Inside the cave, there was totally an opposite environment. Metal torches were attached to its craggy walls, with trembling and furious flames. Some rough and tough people were mercilessly striking the hard membranes of the hollow wooden drums with broad sticks. Ebony harps were being played. A few stone-like people were dancing madly, forgetting the world and all the material stuffs. When their feet were walloping on the uneven floor of the compartment, earthquakes were being originated from nowhere. Bit by bit, they were driving wild. Some of them put on the masks of different ferocious animals of jungles, mostly tigers. From bamboo-made tobacco pipes, smokes were being emitted, disappearing into vanity. Dazzling courtesans were lurching their fatless bellies with the rhythm of tabors, displaying their well-like navels. Waves of a sea could be seen in their hourglass bodies around which gem-studded corsets and short-skirts were wrapped. Their round breasts were trying to expose themselves ripping the strapless short tops. Sometimes, they were pouting, manifesting the intoxication of their tobacco-smeared lips. When they winked, the men inside the room couldn't help licking their lips. Had hell organized any concert ever, it would have reflected the show going on in that cave. Sitting at a corner, the violet-head was smirking, looking at the so-called happy environs. Pouring a red liquid in a crystal goblet from a metal jug, he had a sip of it.

"Continue!" He ordered. Being encouraged, their rampaging vastly increased. The noises of the satanic musical instruments were going to penetrate the walls of the cave and spread outside.

"Hail Boris Balkov, the lord of underground!"

"Hail Boris Balkov, the mighty ruler of the kingdom of Satan!"

That night was looking like the wife of devil.

Huzzas and jubilations reached his ears as his grin became broader. He loved to hear them. He admired to get praised. Then again, he decided to stop it as he had to announce something important. That's why, he stood up from his rock-made chair, raising one of his hands. Getting his hint, the joyful people gradually calmed down.

Once all the sounds ceased, Boris approached the podium. Looking here and there, he blurted:

"My dear people! Today is an auspicious day for all of us. I think you all know the essentiality of this day. Since the past 20 years, we were trying to capture all the four sacred spirits that are guarding the world from the north, south, east and west. These souls are the sources of endless power and fortune. The one gaining victory over them is considered to be the luckiest person of the world. Even, possessing one of them is a sign to be the owner of immense power.

Though nothing is unknown to you anymore, let me announce it once again. Today, we've been successful to arrest the mighty white tiger of the west, representing the energy of metals and woods. From now onwards, Driger belongs to none but Boris Balkov. Only he's the rightful owner of the beast.

Driger has become ours, after all. So, nothing will be impossible. Bit by bit, we will capture Draciel, Dranzer and Dragoon. Then, a new era will appear. The whole world will venerate the Satan. When Boris Balkov comes out and steps forward, people will tremble in fear."

"Yahoo!"

"Hurray!"

The crowd inside the pothole burst into wild applause. In satisfaction, Boris chortled, taking another sip from the wineglass.

"My lord!"

Having heard the sudden call, the lord of underground got pissed off a bit. Keeping the drinking pot on the table, he responded, "Come in."

With slow footsteps, a small group of demons entered the cavern, bending heads down. Everyone ogled at them. There was no sign of smile all over their faces. Hadn't they been born in the clans of monsters, they might have burst into tears at that moment.

"What happened, folk?" The purple-head strode towards them, "Why have you all made your faces like those of owls? Don't you know that today is the day of only happiness?"

"Pardon me, my lord," One of them dared open his mouth, "We've to be the bearers of bad news."

Within a single moment, the satisfied mien of the face of Boris vanished nowhere. Clenching his teeth, he curled his fingers into fists. Glaring at the messengers, he queried, "What's the bad news?"

"Our base in Japan has been destroyed," Another runner replied, somewhat coiling into a ball, "It was in a hummock. Someone has powdered it. From the ashes, a mere arrow has been found."

"Moreover, Slim and Fatso have been defeated in Russia," The first guy spoke, "Let alone capture Dranzer, they've failed to find out her current location."

"You bloody fools!"

Boris snarled, throwing the glass on the ground, smashing it into pieces and letting the liquor spill all over the floor. Not caring at that, he hissed, "Cannot you perform a single task properly? How the fuck can one destroy a highland with an arrow?"

They gasped, stepping back. At that time, they had no point to save their outworn dignity.

"Useless you are!" Balkov just turned his face away from them, "I've to hire Katherine. Only she can help me revenge!"

"You're right, my lord," The right-hand of the ruler of underground moved towards him, "We need Lady Katherine urgently."

"Don't worry, you'll get her eventually," His mood became better a bit, "Besides, I'm planning to send the king of Latin America to China, along with his battalion."

"To China?" The linchpin frowned, "Pardon me, my lord…..but we've already captured Driger. Why do we have to toil again?"

"That's why, you can never be the boss, Mikhail," Boris felt amused while walking, "Still we have to seize Dragoon, Dranzer and Draciel. For that, we need some casual spirits….just like Cerberus, Orthrus and the illuminative versions of Dranzer, Draciel and Driger."

"Illuminative spirits?"

Everyone's eyes sparkled in temptation.

"Yes," Boris nodded, "China is well-known for illuminative spirits. Apparently, they may seem just mere reflections to the actual souls. But, when you battle with them, you'll get to know how strong they are actually."

"Then, why to be late, my lord?" Greed flickered in the eyes of the messengers as one of them ended up expressing it, "Let's prepare!"

"Patience, my dear folk," Balkov's voice was extremely cool, "Learn to be patient. Then, success and power will chase you wherever you go. Do one thing, send a letter to the king of Latin America."

He trod towards the table. Raising the wine jug, he curved it down a bit, making the cerise liquid gush down on the ground. As it kept dropping on the floor, its sound ricocheted throughout the hall.

'Soon….all the power of the earth will be showered on me…..' He pondered, chuckling, 'Just like this…'

Another liquid was being showered in the royal palace of Japan, from another purple-head. No, it wasn't impure like wine. Rather, it was holy, it was blameless. It had no color like liquor. It was translucent.

Should grief have any color?

The adopted daughter of the king of Japan heaved. While exhaling, she felt a sharp pain right at her heart.

As if someone had been stabbing countless knives there.

Grasping the granite railings of the porch, she wanted to break them. Her soft fingers were turning red bit by bit. Her cheeks were vibrating.

Silent tears hurt more, don't they?

'Why, Tyson?' She whispered, looking downwards, 'Why don't you pay any heed to me? What have I done? I always care for you. Whenever you feel hungry, I rush to kitchen and start preparing your favorite dishes. Whenever you feel hurt, I keep a hand on your shoulder. You may find it annoying, but I love roaming around you. Your company makes me feel…as if….as if I were in heaven. You love exercising privately. But…but I always keep a jug of water near you so that you may drink it. You have never understood me, have you?'

"Dew-chan?"

She gasped as someone softly called her, placing a hand on her left shoulder. Juddering a bit, she quickly wiped her tears. As she moved back, her eyes became dilated. In front of her, the brunette was standing. Her lovely elder sister and her rival, at the same time.

"Oni-chan?" She uttered, looking down.

"What are you doing here?" Hilary asked, frowning, "I was searching for you in the entire castle."

"Why?" Dew raised an eyebrow, "Since when have you started feeling me useful?"

The jaw of the coco-haired princess dropped. Her eyes became widened too.

What had happened to her sweet younger sister by the way? She was always cheerful and bubbly, giving her sudden hugs and kisses. She'd never behaved like that before it. Had any evil spirit possessed her body then?

"Dew, what happened?" Managing herself, Hilary queried, keeping a hand on her head, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah." She nodded but couldn't help sniffing a bit.

The heart of the elder one skipped a beat. She wrinkled her eyebrows, her hands shuddered. She loved her sister a lot. No, she couldn't see her crying in front of her own eyes. It was impossible for her.

"Dew…" She softly spoke, "Why're you crying? What's the matter?"

"It's none of your business…." Her voice was stern and tear-chocked at the same time.

The brunette closed her eyes. She had to keep her cool. She tried her best not to lose her temper.

"Dew-chan….." She cleared her throat, "Look, I'm your elder sister. You can share with me everything. I promise, only we both will know about it. Tell me what is hurting you."

The purple-haired girl kept staring at her for a few ticks without blinking. Then unexpectedly, she burst into tears, tying the brunette into a tight hug. At first, the latter felt shocked. She found herself at a loss. Gradually, she also locked her younger sister in an embrace.

"Ssh…" She brushed her locks with her fingers, "Everything will be alright, my dear."

"Oni-chan….." Dew sobbed, "Nobody….nobody loves me here…except…you…."

Hilary was about to say, 'No no, my sweetheart, you're wrong…..'

Then again, she stopped, thinking that it would be better if she gave her little sister a chance to continue.

"Oni-chan, I love Tyson a lot…." Dew sniveled, "I just…I just want to get married to him and spend the rest of my life with him. But he doesn't understand my feelings at all. He doesn't care about me. Even, he has no taste in talking to me. He only loves you. Oni-chan, I know you love him too. That's why, I didn't want to tell these things to you. You may feel offended….but it's true. Please, don't feel bad."

"Calm down, my dear…." Hilary loosened the hug, "First of all, who told you that he loves me and I love him? We're just friends!"

"Really?" The turquoise orbs of the younger princess gleamed up, finding a ray of hope somewhere.

"Yes, my silly," The brunette nodded, "In fact, we're best friends. But believe me, I have never felt for him in my life."

"Thank you so much, Oni-chan," Dew again embraced her, "I'll be grateful to you forever."

"Not falling in love with him?" Hilary rolled her eyes. Then, both of the sisters burst out laughter.

"Oni-chan, sometimes you joke well…." The purplette clutched her stomach.

"I know that…." The brown-haired princess squeezed her shoulders, "But finally….I've also got to see one who can actually have a crush on a glutton like Tyson Granger."

"Hey! Don't call him glutton!" The violet-head grouched.

"Okay okay…." Hilary held her ears, "I'm sorry, the soon-to-be Mrs. Ganger!"

Dew couldn't help blushing a bit hearing that. She lowered her gazes. Her cheeks borrowed the color from begonias. She was trying to hide her eyes from her elder sister. If the brunette had looked at those eyes, she would have found there nothing but love.

"Dew…." Hilary softly spoke, tapping at the mirror of the silence hovering around them, "Look, after it, please don't hide anything from me. Okay?"

"Yes, Oni-chan…." The purple-haired girl murmured.

"Since you've been a good girl to me…." The brunette coughed, "I'm going to reward you."

"Reward?"

Dew raised her gazes. Removing the presence of love, confusion gathered there.

"From today, I'll help you gain victory over his heart," Hilary cupped her chin, "I promise."

The teal pools of the younger sister started glittering in the tears of happiness. Once again, she wrapped her arms around the shoulders and waist of her elder sister.

"Thank you so much, Oni-chan….." Her voice had been hoarse, "You're the best sister in the world."

"Mention not…." The coco-haired girl placed a tender kiss on her temple, "You've also to try your best to win him. Got it?"

"Sure, sis…." Dew furiously nodded, "No matter what happens, Dew won't step back."

"That's the spirit, my girl!" Hilary's smile grew broader.

At that time, a maid headed towards them. Seeing her, both of the princesses looked at each other's face, trying to act normal.

"Princess Hilary…." She bowed, "There's a good news. Lord Granger has regained his consciousness."

The smiles returned to the faces of the royal ladies as they couldn't but express their ecstasy. Approaching the servant, the brunette spoke, "Go to garden and pluck some fresh pomegranates. Dew, go to kitchen and start preparing pomegranate juice for Tyson. He has lost much blood, he needs it."

"Oni-chan, you won't go there?" Dew asked as the maid left the place for the task which had been given to her.

"Duh, silly…." Hilary gently slapped on her shoulder, "Before a while, I've promised you that I'll help you make Tyson love you back. You've also told me that you'll try your best. Then, what will I do going there? It's your department now, Mrs. Dew Granger…sorry, soon-to-be Mrs. Dew Granger."

"Max ni-san has surely taught you some English honorifics, Oni-chan?" Dew laughed, "I'll learn them too."

"Sure….." The brunette nodded, "Now I've to go. Good luck!"

'Really, Oni-chan….' The purplette mused, while watching the windy footsteps of her sister, 'Nobody is better than you in this palace. Wish Tyson could understand my feelings just like you…..will I be successful? Will my love be fruitful ever?'

So...how was it?
