Brianna tightened her soft burgundy cardigan coat over her simple white crop top as she exited out of hers and Marcel's apartment and walked out into the chilly night of New Orleans at about six forty-seven to go meet up with the Claire girl at Rousseau's Bar. The Gilbert girl couldn't help but release a tense sigh when she glanced up towards the full moon while her vampire bodyguard, Diego, locked up the apartment.

Brianna had noticed during the last two full moons that there was always this emptiness in her chest like something was missing. She had mentioned it to Marcel during the first month that she was in New Orleans but he had just said it was probably because she was homesick for Mystic Falls. However, Brianna didn't believe that at all. Sure, Brianna missed her family and friends in Mystic Falls but this wasn't that feeling.

Brianna just felt this disconnection with the world during nights like these. The only thing the Gilbert girl liked to do on full moons anymore was to just lay in bed while she talked with either Elena or Caroline since they always helped get her mind off the discomfort that she felt. However, Brianna couldn't do that tonight and she didn't mind it one bit. Brianna would gladly hang out with Davina - even though she wasn't feeling that great. Brianna honestly wouldn't doubt that the Claire girl would burn out that fire that's beating in her chest during the full moon by just the sound of her voice.

The Gilbert girl hadn't even known that she was at her destination until Diego had called out her name when she passed up the bar while she was lost in her thoughts about the full moon. It was something Brianna realized that she would do during the full moon - she would just completely space out - another downside for nights like these.

Brianna embarrassingly thanked her vampire bodyguard with a slight tint of rosy pink to her tan cheeks before she quickly entered Rousseau's Bar with Diego falling amusingly behind. Once the Gilbert girl entered the establishment, she let her hazel eyes roam around the bar for a moment. However, when Brianna couldn't spot the Claire girl yet, she decided that she would settle down by the two witch sisters by the counter.

Witches? Oh, yeah, Brianna knew all about the Deveraux sisters and who they really were. The Gilbert girl had found out about that about a month ago. Brianna had been at the compound after hanging out with Lucas one day when she had went upstairs to tell Marcel that she would see him at home. However, the thing that she saw once she entered her Godfather's office was the two witches in a screaming match with Marcel about using magic in the French Quarter.

The younger of the two sisters, Sophie, ended up seeking her out the next day and explained what Brianna had heard. Sophie had been afraid it would disrupt their friendship but Brianna had quickly assured the witch that it wasn't a problem at all. Brianna, of course, knew about the supernatural world, so it wasn't like she was going to discriminate the sisters because they are witches. The Gilbert girl knew about Davina being a witch, so she didn't mind befriending two more witches as well.

Brianna couldn't help but to throw herself into the seat next to Sophie and across from Jane-Anne after she had pushed her way through the crowded Rousseau's Bar with a heavy and exhausted sigh as she felt her vampire bodyguard get settled in a seat a few feet away from them. The Gilbert girl just felt so emotionally and physically drained from the full moon. It was the moon was pulling all of the energy out of her body and Brianna absolutely hated it.

The two Deveraux sisters watched the human girl with amusement shining through their brown irises for a few moments of silence before the older sibling, Jane-Anne, was the one to speak up. "What's up with you?" Jane-Anne questioned as she stared over at the brunette girl with an amused grin playing on her lips.

"I'm tired," the Gilbert girl mumbled before she accidentally slammed her forehead against the wooden bar after she had taken a quick glance at the older sister. Brianna released a heavy groan from the pain before she mumbled as she rubbed the middle spot on her forehead that had taken the worse impact, "and now, I'm sore."

The Deveraux sisters both immediately laughed at the Gilbert girl and her painful struggles before Sophie playfully patted Brianna's head and murmured with a small smirk, "there, there."

The two sisters laughed once more when the Gilbert girl began to push Sophie's hands away from her head before the older sibling questioned once they were settled into a calm silence, "how about a drink and gumbo on the house for your troubles?" Jane-Anne felt bad for the human girl as she could see that she was having a hard day, so she wanted to make the younger girl feel better.

The Gilbert girl released a heavy sigh as she shook her head in disagreement - even though she really wished that she could accept the offer of a glass of vodka and some yummy gumbo. "I can't," Brianna muttered as she settled the side of her face into the palm of her hand. "I'm meeting Davina soon," the brunette girl explained why she couldn't accept something that was free and something that she always ordered whenever she would come to Rousseau's Bar.

"Ooh!" The younger sister, Sophie, instantly cooed once she and Jane-Anne heard the human girl's explanation. Sophie bumped her shoulder into the Gilbert girl's burgundy sweater covered one before she interrogated with that same smirk shining across her lips, "do you have a date with little witch?"

Brianna immediately felt her cheeks warm up at Sophie's words before she pushed her hands against the younger sister's arms as she exclaimed, "shut up." The Gilbert girl shook her head before she mumbled, "it's not a date."

Jane-Anne tossed her grey hand towel down onto the counter top of the bar that she had been cleaning as she exclaimed, "oh, come on!" The older witch shook her head in disbelief at the human girl before she stated, "you've been in NOLA for three months and you've been hanging with Davina every single day that you've been here." Jane-Anne pointed her finger at the Gilbert girl as she uttered, "you are interested in her and she's interested in you, so, yes, it's definitely a date."

The Gilbert girl rolled her hazel eyes at Jane-Anne before explained with a small shrug of her shoulders, "Dee and I are just taking things slow right now." Brianna pointed at the older witch like she had done to her before she uttered, "so, no, it's definitely not a date." The brunette girl shook her head as she stated, "it's just two friends hanging out with each other."

Sophie snorted at the human girl before she playfully mumbled underneath her breath, even though she knew it was loud enough for her sister and Brianna to hear her, "more like two friends who want to kiss each other."

The Gilbert girl, once again, slapped the young witch's arm as she exclaimed, "shut up!" Brianna moved her hazel eyes down to her hands that were lying on the counter top of the bar before she mumbled while she shook her head, "it's not like that."

Jane-Anne stared across at the young girl with a soft smile on her face as she recognized the hoping expression on Brianna's face that spoke the complete opposite of what she was saying. "But you wish it was like that, right?" The older Deveraux sister gently questioned as she could practically feel Brianna's true emotions.

Brianna slumped her body further into the stool at the bar as she nodded her head in agreement before she mumbled, "well, yeah, of course, I do." The Gilbert girl focused her hazel irises onto the rows of alcohol behind Jane-Anne's head as she confessed, "Davi is special. She's so different from anyone I have ever met. Davina is just so sweet and kind - no matter who she comes face to face with." Brianna let a soft smile pull onto her lips before she continued, "honestly, she means a lot to me. I-I can see myself being with her. Davina is like someone I could see myself settling down for instead of playing around."

The Deveraux witches glanced at one another in a calm silence after Brianna's gushing over the Claire girl with wide smiles shining across their lips at the fact that Brianna was being truthful with herself instead of continuing to say that they were just friends. Sophie and Jane-Anne took one more glance at one another before they both turned and faced the Gilbert girl with identical smiles shining across their faces. "Do it," the Deveraux witches commanded at the exact same time.

The Gilbert girl focused her hazel eyes back onto the witch duo with her brows pulled together in confusion as she had no clue what the Deveraux sisters were going on about. "What?" Brianna wondered once she finally pulled herself out of the trance that was filled with nothing but the Claire girl, "what are you guys talking about?"

The older and more serious sibling, Jane-Anne, released a small chuckle with her sister before she leaned over the wooden bar and explained to the human girl what she and Sophie meant, "tell Davina everything you told us - tell her how you really feel about her." Jane-Anne rose one of her dark eyebrows at Brianna as she questioned, "you said she wanted to take everything slow, right?" The older witch watched as the Gilbert girl nodded her head before she continued to give advice to Brianna, "tell her that you're serious about you and her being together, so she knows that you're really in it for a relationship and not to just play around."

"OOH!" The more childish sister and the number one shipper of Davina and Brianna - Sophie - practically shouted before she grabbed ahold of the Gilbert girl's shoulders and exclaimed, "you should do it tonight!" The younger witch had heart-eyes shining through her brown irises as she cooed, "oh, it's gonna be so romantic! You and Davina under the stars, confessing your feelings to one another!"

Brianna and Jane-Anne both chuckled at the romantic-loving witch as they rolled their eyes at Sophie's antics before the Gilbert girl joked, "don't get ahead of yourself, Soph." The human girl lightly shrugged her shoulders after a moment before she commented on the Deveraux sister's plan, "besides, I don't even know if Davina wants a relationship with me or even a relationship in general."

"Well, here's your chance," Jane-Anne mumbled when she heard the familiar ding of the front bell ringing before she pointed her head towards the entrance of the bar for the Gilbert girl to understand what she was talking about. "Your girl just walked in," the Deveraux woman explained as she watched the younger witch nervously look around the bar before Davina's brown irises practically sparkled when she spotted the Gilbert girl.

Brianna's hazel eyes immediately widened once she realized what Jane-Anne had said before she swiftly glanced behind her and, sure enough, saw the Claire girl heading straight towards her. The Gilbert girl hurriedly moved her hazel irises over to the younger sister before she quickly begged as she slightly panicked from the witches' previous words about confessing her feelings to Davina, "do not say a word, Soph."

The Gilbert girl had never felt nervous or anxious whenever she would hang around Davina but she sure was now that these thoughts were put into her head. Brianna had been fine with not telling Davina how she felt and was happy to continue to skirt around her feelings while she just flirted with the Claire girl but since the Deveraux sisters thought it would be a good idea to confess her feelings tonight, it made the human girl quite panicked.

Brianna never cared what anyone thought of her when she still lived in Mystic Falls, Virginia. She partied, had sex, did and sold drugs on a daily basis and not once did she ever care what anyone thought about her habits. However, now, Brianna actually cared about what one little witch thought of her and that made Brianna nervous as hell.

"Hey, guys!" Davina Claire cheerfully greeted the group of girls while she thankfully didn't notice the midlife crisis that the seventeen year old Brianna Gilbert was currently having as she walked up to the bar and stood behind the Gilbert girl and the younger Deveraux witch. Davina focused her brown irises onto Brianna for a moment as she absorbed the brunette's beauty before she asked with a small smile playing on her lips, "are you ready to go?"

The Gilbert girl took a deep breath as she stared into Jane-Anne's calming brown eyes before she slowly turned around and faced the young witch, who was making her quite nervous at the moment. Brianna briefly closed her hazel irises to remind herself to relax and that there was nothing to be anxious about before she gave Davina a small smile. "Yeah, let's go," the Gilbert girl uttered with her normal smooth voice before she jumped out of the wooden chair at the bar.

"Where are you two going?" The younger and most mischief of the two Deveraux sisters questioned with a wide smirk playing on her lips as she glanced between the Gilbert girl and the Claire witch as if she didn't already know what was going on with the two, obviously, in love teenagers.

"Oh..." Davina anxiously mumbled with a pink tint to her tan cheeks as she glanced between the familiar witches and the Gilbert girl before she finally mumbled out after a full minute had passed with a small shrug of her shoulders, "we're just going to walk around and catch up." The Claire girl honestly didn't have a plan after she had asked Brianna to hang out with her after school. The only thing that Davina knew was that she wanted to spend her night hanging with Brianna. They could go looking through dumpsters for all Davina cared - as long as she got to spend some time with Brianna.

"Well, this has been fun but we really should be going," the Gilbert girl exclaimed after a couple minutes of silence had settled between her and the three witches as she lightly placed her hand onto Davina's back. Brianna's nerves were quite high right now while she stood in front of the Deveraux witches. The sisters had a tendency of spilling things at the worse times like when Sophie told Jane-Anne and the whole bar how she tripped and ripped her pants one day - so Brianna definitely didn't want either girl - mostly Sophie - to say anything or start teasing her in front of the Claire girl.

"Aw!" The younger Deveraux witch complained with a deep pout while Jane-Anne watched with an amused smirk playing on her lips. "But you just got here," Sophie complained before the mischief, younger sister made up a fake excuse just so she could embarrass the Gilbert girl in front of Davina, "I wanted to tell something."

Brianna glared at the two sisters, mostly Sophie, before she told them with a roll of her hazel eyes as she knew exactly what the younger Deveraux witch was trying to do, "I'll give you a call later tonight then you call tell me what you needed to say." The Gilbert girl was not going to give Sophie the chance to tease her in front of Davina - nope, no way.

"Oh, we can stay if you guys need to talk," the innocent and sweet girl that is Davina Claire told the Gilbert girl as she shot her a small smile. The youngest witch in the room knew she would feel bad if she took Brianna away if she and Sophie were in the middle of a conversation, so she would be willing to wait a few minutes until she would have Brianna all to herself.

The Gilbert girl shot Davina a small smile of her own before she assured the Claire witch as she lightly waved her hand, "oh, no, it's fine. Sophie can wait." Brianna slowly moved her hazel irises over to the Deveraux sisters before she asked with a raised eyebrow and a pleading look, "right, Soph?"

The Deveraux sisters stayed silent for a few tense moments as they glanced at one another before Sophie finally put the human girl out of her misery as she uttered with a wide smirk, "right." Sophie would have loved to tease Brianna about her feelings in front of the young witch but she knew when enough was enough. It was huge that Brianna had finally admitted that she wanted more with Davina, so Sophie decided that she wouldn't tease Brianna encase it would cause for the Gilbert girl to change her mind about confessing tonight.

"See?" The Gilbert girl quickly exclaimed to Davina before she silently mouthed to the Deveraux sisters for not saying anything else, "thank you." Brianna gave the Claire girl's waist a small squeeze before she assured the witch, once again, "everything's fine, so we can get going."

"Alright..." Davina mumbled with uncertainty as she glanced between the two witches and the human girl as she felt like something wasn't being said before she continued, "if you're sure." Once the Claire girl saw Brianna give her a small nod to let her know that they could leave, Davina shot the two sisters a small smile before she uttered, "I guess we'll see you guys later."

"I'll give you a call when I get home," the Gilbert girl assured the Deveraux sisters as she knew they would want to hear what happened before she gave them a farewell smile. Brianna then turned the Claire girl around with the soft touch of her hand on Davina's back before she began to lead them towards the front door of the bar.

"Have fun, you two!" The younger and most mischief sister finally shouted throughout the packed and noisy bar as she wildly waved her hand at the Gilbert girl and the Claire witch with an even wider smirk shining across her lips as she couldn't help but to get in one small teasing for her friend in Brianna Gilbert.

Brianna instantly lifted her middle finger in the air for the Deveraux sisters as she knew Sophie was messing with her while she and Davina continued to squeeze through all of the tipsy and drunk residents of New Orleans. The Gilbert girl had only flipped them off jokingly and they all knew it. Brianna absolutely adored the friendship that she had with the two older girls, so she knew that neither Sophie or Jane-Anne would actually say anything to Davina about her feelings.

"What was that about?" The Claire witch couldn't help but wonder as she glanced up to Brianna's face - which was extremely close to hers - as they were practically attached at the hip before she released a small chuckle from their interaction with the Deveraux sisters.

"I think Sophie has had a little too much bourbon today," Brianna joked as she made up an excuse with a small smirk playing her lips while she held open the front door of the bar for Davina before she and the Claire girl walked out into the chilly air of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The two brunette teenagers soon fell into a calm silence as they slowly walked through their hometown while they enjoyed the smooth Jazz music and the bright purple and green lights of the French Quarter. The Gilbert girl had her arm locked through Davina's as they stayed attached at the hip while they talked about different things like their classes, their plans for the weekend, and how Coach Finstock busted his ass in front of the whole school during the pep-rally for the Bobcats lacrosse team. Brianna even shared some stories about her sister, Elena, and her best friend, Caroline, along with her old life in Mystic Falls.

However, when a lull of silence settled between them after forty minutes of talking and smiling with one another, the Claire girl finally noticed that something was off with Brianna. It was just this expression on the Gilbert girl's face that made the young witch spot that something wasn't quite right with Brianna. It reminded the Claire girl of someone trying to hide their pain. "Hey," Davina softly called out as she gave the Gilbert girl's arm a small squeeze to get her attention before she gently asked, "you doing okay?"

The Gilbert girl couldn't help but flinch at Davina's voice as she had just been numbly staring at the full moon while completely lost in the void of silence. Brianna quickly fixed her expression, though, as she gave the Claire girl a small but tense smile before she released a heavy sigh and slumped her shoulders when Davina just continued stare at her - which made Brianna want to open up to the young witch.

"I don't know," Brianna mumbled as she glanced down to her white sneakers walking along the pavement in the French Quarter. The Gilbert girl looked back up to Davina after a minute or so when the Claire girl gave her arm another squeeze before Brianna quietly confessed about what was bothering her, "it might sound stupid... But I just feel this disconnection inside me." Brianna lightly shrugged her shoulders before she mumbled with an emotionless chuckle, "I don't even know what it is."

Brianna knew that she sounded absolutely bat shit crazy right now when she didn't really know what was going on with her. The one thing that the Gilbert girl did know, though, that it somehow had to deal with the full moon tonight. Brianna knew that was crazy when Marcel told her she had no connection to the wolves in New Orleans but that was just how she was feeling. Brianna just wished this night would just be over already as she absolutely hated this empty feeling in her body.

"It's not stupid," the Claire witch quickly assured Brianna as she shot the human girl a soft smile. "You're just having a bad day," Davina uttered as she lightly shrugged her shoulders before she commented to make Brianna feel better, "we all have those."

While Davina stared at the Gilbert girl beside her, the young witch couldn't help but want to make all those bad feelings go away for Brianna. The Gilbert girl had always been this smiling and flirting girl, so Davina wanted to help in anyway she could to make Brianna smile again. "How about we go to my house?" Davina suggested after a minute of thinking of how she could get Brianna's mind off of her current issue as she knew Brianna just needed a quiet and relaxing night - nothing too crazy like they usually did when they would go around the French Quarter.

Brianna rose one of her eyebrows as she looked over at Davina after she heard her suggestion. "Are you trying to get into my pants, Ms. Claire?" The human girl flirted with a teasing smirk shining across her face before she playfully bumped her hip into the young witch's denim shorts clad one.

The Claire witch playfully rolled her brown irises at the flirty Gilbert girl with a slight pink blush to her tan cheeks. "No," Davina mumbled as she lightly pushed onto Brianna's shoulders - even though they were connected by their locked arms - before she softly explained, "I just thought we could go hang out at my house without all the noise in the city to help get your mind off of everything."

The Gilbert girl's heart completely just turned into mush. Brianna felt some type of way that she had never felt with anyone by Davina's true caring attitude and the fact that the young witch wanted to help her feel better. No one - besides her family and a few of her friends - had ever took the time to want to help her like that, so it made the human girl's heart happily flutter. Brianna shot the waiting Claire girl a soft smile before she murmured in agreement, "I'd like that."

Davina's smile instantly brightened before she cheered in excitement, "yay!" The Claire girl was not only happy that she was going to have the opportunity to hang out with Brianna at her house, but the fact that she would be the one to help the Gilbert girl feel better after a bad day. Davina felt honored that she would be the one to put that smile back onto Brianna's face.

The Gilbert girl couldn't help amusingly chuckle at the young witch's act filled with nothing but innocence and happiness before Brianna uttered as she waved her free hand that wasn't locked with Davina's, "well, lead the way, Ms. Claire."

Davina gave the Gilbert girl another bright smile of excitement before she trailed her hand down Brianna's arm until their fingers were locked together. The Claire girl made sure that there was no vehicles coming before she quickly pulled Brianna across the street and headed down the pavement. Davina kept their fingers locked together as they made their way down the French Quarter and towards her house while the Claire witch kept Brianna's mind off of the full moon by telling the Gilbert girl stories about her childhood and a few of her embarrassing moments to get a smile going.

It took the two brunette teenagers another fifteen minutes of walking around New Orleans as they laughed and talked with one another before they finally walked up the driveway to the off-white Claire house. "My mom is out of town for the week," Davina mentioned to the human girl as she lead Brianna through the front door, through the living room and the kitchen, before she led Brianna to the backyard by their locked hands.

"You really are trying to get into my pants," the Gilbert girl joked as she gave Davina's hand a small squeeze. "I mean, you're taking me home when your mom is away," Brianna commented before she teased the witch as she shot Davina a wink and a wide smirk, "tsk tsk. Davi's a bad girl."

The Claire witch released a small chuckle as she shook her head at the Gilbert girl with another light blush adoring her cheeks. However, Davina doesn't say anything else. Instead, Davina lead the human girl into the old greenhouse in the very back part of their yard that she had recently been using as her art studio. The Claire witch released Brianna's hand once they were inside before she turned around and excitedly exclaimed, "we're painting!"

Brianna couldn't help but to be surprised as that was not what she was picturing when Davina said that she wanted to go to her house. However, then again, the Gilbert girl knew that she shouldn't be so shocked when it was the innocent Claire witch that she was dealing with instead of the girls and guys that she was used to being around - which always involved sex. "Wow," Brianna mumbled as she voiced her surprise while she slowly walked around the makeshift art studio. "This is amazing," the Gilbert girl commented as she gazed at all of the different drawings and paintings.

The Claire witch's body instantly heated up and she knew her cheeks were turning beet red from the human girl's compliment. "Thank you," Davina quickly mumbled as she nervously rubbed her hand down the base of her neck from the praise that Brianna was showing her and her art pieces that littered the room.

"You're an amazing artist," the Gilbert girl continued with her complimenting the Claire witch as she slowly gazed at each painting that seemed to be better than the last. "I don't think I can compete with you," Brianna joked once she finally moved her hazel eyes off of the art pieces and over to Davina.

The Claire witch chuckled at the human girl but she assured Brianna, "I'm sure you will be a good painter, as well." Davina didn't wait for the Gilbert girl to say anything more as she linked their fingers back together and murmured as she pulled Brianna over to a set of canvases, "come on." Davina led Brianna to sit down on one of the wooden stools before the Claire witch quickly moved around the greenhouse and grabbed a set of paintbrushes and a few different color cans of paint.

"So..." Brianna mumbled as she watched the Claire witch organize the different paints like they were foreign objects between the two canvases with a frown embedded on her face before she confusingly questioned, "what am I supposed to paint?" The Gilbert girl had never been very artistic while growing up - unlike her adopted mother and sister, who loved to write. Brianna had always been more into spending her time at the library or spending hours on the soccer field.

Davina released another amused chuckle and grinned at the human girl as she watched as the confused Brianna looked cutely at the blank canvas. "I'm sorry," the Claire witch quickly apologized when Brianna looked up at her with a raised eyebrow before she continued with a slight giggle, "I'm sorry. It's just your panicking over nothing."

Davina reached over and grabbed a clean paintbrush before she silently handed it over to Brianna. The Claire girl opened up the different colors of paint cans that was settled between the two wooden stools before she explained with a soft smile adoring her lips, "painting isn't about being perfect like you would on a soccer field."

Davina quietly moved to stand behind the Gilbert girl and lightly placed her hand over Brianna's before she lead the human girl's hand over to the purple paint and dipped the paintbrush inside. Once the brush was covered in the light purple - almost lavender - paint, the Claire witch moved the brush to the canvas as she continued to speak as she moved the brush onto the white area, "it's about feeling the motion of the brush and just letting whatever comes to mind to transfer onto the canvas."

"Okay..." Brianna mumbled with uncertainty in her voice as she slowly swooshed the paintbrush across the canvas in a cloud-like shape. The Gilbert continued with the help of Davina until she had a set of purple clouds going across the canvas before she took the chance to look at what she had painted.

"Huh..." Brianna quietly murmured as she slowly nodded her head in approval at her work before she uttered cockily, "I did a pretty damn good job." The Gilbert girl glanced over her shoulder to the Claire witch before she commented with a smirk shining across her lips, "I guess I have an amazing teacher."

The Claire witch, once again, blushed at the praise before she shyly murmured, "thanks." Davina quickly took a step back as she avoided the human girl's hazel irises as her cheeks continued to flame red before she took a seat at the canvas beside Brianna. "So, have you decided what you are going to paint?" Davina questioned as she picked up her paintbrush to avoid the Gilbert girl showing her anymore praise as it made the young witch feel shy and embarrassed.

Brianna released an amused chuckle at the timid Claire witch before she commented with that same smirk shining on her lips, "you're cute." The Gilbert girl watched a small smile pop onto Davina's face before a wide grin lifted onto her own as she just felt so relaxed and calm in Davina's presence.

The two brunette teenagers continued to smile at one another for about minute or so before Brianna realized that Davina had asked her something. "I honestly don't know what I'm doing yet," the Gilbert girl mumbled with a slight chuckle before she commented as she twitched her head to the side while she gazed at her painting, "something to do with clouds, though."

The Claire witch briefly looked over to the human girl's painting before she glanced over to Brianna as she complimented the brunette with a wide grin shining across her face, "well, it's coming out beautifully."

Brianna released a small and lightly shy chuckle as she carelessly shrugged her shoulders in indifference to the young witch's opinion. "We'll see," the Gilbert girl mumbled as she didn't know if her painting was even turning out okay. Brianna figured that she would just continue with it since it was helping her stay calm, so the brunette girl cleaned her brush before she switched to a dark blue before she added to her set of clouds.

The two teenager girls continued to paint for about another twenty minutes or so as they just enjoyed each other's company that didn't need to be filled with needless talking. Brianna honestly was surprised by how relaxed that she feeling right now in silence when that was the exact way for her thoughts to be filled about the full moon and why she didn't feel like herself all day long.

The tranquility of silence soon came to an end, though, once the Gilbert girl placed her paintbrush down on the edge of the easel that held her artwork and she mumbled, mostly to herself, as she looked at her painting, "huh, look at that," Brianna wasn't all that surprised when she saw that she had painted an image of the full moon - the one thing that had been flowing through her mind since the moment that she had woken up this morning.

"You're an artist!" The Claire witch cheered as she had heard the small mumble from the brunette girl beside her. Davina reached over and gave the Gilbert girl's arm a small squeeze before she complimented Brianna on her painting, "it looks beautiful, Bee."

The Gilbert girl released a small chuckle with a light blush to her cheeks at the compliment before she mumbled, "thanks." Brianna usually didn't feel embarrassed about anything but she couldn't help but to feel that way now when the Claire witch was looking at her like she hung the sun, the moon, and the stars.

"Aww," the Claire witch cooed before she teased the brunette girl as she stood up from her wooden stool and began to poke Brianna's cheeks as she asked with a wide grin plastered across her face, "is Brianna feeling shy?"

Brianna tried to get rid of the blush from her reddened cheeks as she swiftly pushed the Claire witch's hand away from her face while she begged in a whining voice, "stop!"

Davina didn't stop, though. The Claire witch continued to tease Brianna for a change instead of it being the other way around as she cooed, "I didn't know Ms. Gilbert got shy." The young witch moved her fingers down to Brianna's sides as she began to poke against the human girl's athletic and lean stomach - which immediately got a series of laughter from Brianna - before the Claire witch teasingly uttered, "ooh! I think I found your tickle spot!"

"Stop that, Davi!" The Gilbert girl hurriedly shouted as giggles flew out of her mouth while she tried to push the Claire witch's hands away from her stomach when Davina had found her sensitive and most ticklish spots.

"I have no idea what you're talking about!" The Claire witch uttered in a singing voice as she continued to poke and tickle Brianna's sides with happy and amused giggles escaping her own lips from watching Brianna practically fall apart in front of her.

The Gilbert girl felt she was going to die from not breathing correctly or she would end up peeing her pants, so Brianna decided that attacking back was the only way that she could get Davina to stop. Brianna glanced around her before she quickly spotted her used blue paintbrush from the wooden easel. The human girl swiftly swiped the paintbrush before she placed the wet paint onto Davina's cheek and all the way down her exposed arm.

The Claire witch immediately stopped poking the human girl when she felt the coldness on the paint before she swiftly looked over at Brianna with her brown eyes widened in surprise. "I cannot believe you just did that!" Davina exclaimed with a screech.

Brianna slowly and cautiously stood up from her wooden stool and faced the Claire witch with a smirk proudly displayed across her face. "Well, believe it, honey bunny," the Gilbert girl murmured before she swiped the blue paintbrush on top of Davina's button nose. "There," Brianna exclaimed before she stated with a wide grin, "my masterpiece is finished."

The two teenagers stood silent for a minute or so before Davina finally broke out into giggles as she looked down at the wet stripes of dark blue adoring her warm skin before Davina slowly focused her brown irises back onto Brianna with a smirk slowly raising onto her lips. "I think my painting needs some last minute adjustments as well," the Claire witch muttered before she swiftly grabbed her used brush that was covered in orange paint. Davina quickly took notice that Brianna was going to run, so the Claire witch hurriedly swiped the orange paint down the side of Brianna's face as she grabbed Brianna's hand and made her stay in place.

The Gilbert girl instantly released a series of groans and moans when she felt the wet paint on her cheek and down her neck once she finally pulled her arm away from Davina. The human girl shook her head as she stared over at the Claire witch before she exclaimed with a wide smirk, "oh, you're gonna get it."

Brianna didn't give the young witch a chance to realize what she had said before she quickly charged at Davina, who had just began to run across the greenhouse, before the Gilbert girl flicked the blue covered paintbrush at Davina's back - which caused the young witch's white tan top to be covered in the dark blue colored paint.

The Claire witch immediately squeaked when she felt the cold paint on the back her arms and neck before she quickly took cover behind a metal filing cabinet while she tried to catch her breath. Davina took a peek from behind the cabinet once she could breathe again before she instantly spotted Brianna looking behind a table of tulips. The young witch knew that this was her chance, so Davina quickly and quietly stood up from her crouched position before she ran directly at the human girl.

Davina didn't say anything to hopefully keep her whereabouts a secret before she swiped her orange paintbrush across the human girl's exposed neck that wasn't covered by her burgundy coat - and once Brianna had turned around in surprise - Davina also swiped the orange paint from the Gilbert girl's bellybutton and up to her white shirt to her neck.

"Davina!" The human girl shouted out in surprise before she quickly took advantage of their close proximity as she swiftly swiped her own blue paintbrush all along Davina's exposed neck and shoulders from her white tank top.

The two teenage girls continued to swipe their orange and blue paintbrushes across each other's skin as giggles and laughs escaped from their lips before they finally came to a standstill after about ten minutes or so when their paintbrushes wouldn't produce anymore blue and orange paint.

The Claire witch took a deep breath while she tried to breathe normally again after running around as she took a small step back with her empty paintbrush down by her side. "Truce?" Davina inquired as she held out her free hand in innocence with a small smile shining across her lips.

Brianna released an amused chuckle as she nodded her head in agreement. "Truce," the human girl uttered as she shook Davina's hand before she dropped her empty paintbrush down onto the ground of the greenhouse as she tried to catch her breath. Once Brianna's breathing was back to it's normal speed, the Gilbert girl finally looked down at her body and noticed all of the orange paint. "I need a shower," Brianna mumbled as she saw that she covered from head to toe in paint.

Davina released her own chuckle as she looked down at her body that was covered in blue paint. "Yeah, we do," the Claire witch giggled out in agreement before she suggested as she focused her brown irises onto Brianna's hazel ones, "we can go wash up with the water hose before we head inside to shower up."

Brianna nodded her head as she murmured, "that's a good idea." The Gilbert girl and the Claire witch then began to walk out of the greenhouse in a comfortable silence before Brianna playfully bumped her hip into Davina's blue painted one. "We wouldn't want to upset Ms. Claire," Brianna teased as she knew Davina's mother wasn't her biggest fan when she was the King of New Orleans' God daughter and, respectfully, the Princess of New Orleans.

"She would have a heart attack if she saw paint all over her walls and floors," the Claire witch agreed with an amused giggle as she could only imagine the fit that her mother would have thrown if she saw her house covered in orange and blue paint.

The young witch and the human girl arrived at the side of the Claire house and reached the dark green water hose after a few minutes of them slowly walking through the backyard with small giggles and jokes being passed between them. Davina released Brianna's hand once they reached their destination before she turned on the water hose and began to clean her hands, arms, and legs to get rid of the blue paint. It took the Claire witch a few minutes to finally get it all off of her skin before she went to hand the water hose over to Brianna.

The Gilbert girl instantly shook her head before she advised the young witch as she grabbed the water hose, "turn around." Brianna released a small chuckle before she explained when Davina only looked at her with furrowed brows, "I know I got you on your backside."

Davina immediately released a loud groan as she briefly closed her brown eyes before she complained, "you're killing me."

Brianna released an amused chuckle before she told the Claire witch, "you're lucky I said something or you could have gotten yelled at by mommy dearest." The Gilbert girl shot Davina a teasing smirk when she noticed the young witch's pout before she softly turned Davina around by a hand on her shoulder.

Once Brianna was faced with the witch's backside, the Gilbert girl pushed onto the nozzle of the water hose and began to scrub the blue paint from the back of Davina's neck, down to her shoulders, down her arms before she cleaned up the paint from the back of Davina's thighs and calves. "There!" The Gilbert girl exclaimed after she was finished getting all of the paint from Davina's warm skin.

"Thank you," the Claire witch murmured once she faced Brianna with a small, shy smile adoring her face from the soft and gentle touches on her body from the Gilbert girl. Davina was starting to feel even shyer as the human girl gazed at her, so she wanted the attention off of her. "It's only fair if I help you as well," Davina volunteered as she grabbed the water hose back from Brianna.

"We all know you just want to touch my body," the Gilbert teased as she shot the Claire witch a wink and a wide smirk.

The Claire witch shook her head with a slight blush to her cheeks from Brianna's words. "I don't know what you're talking about," Davina quietly mumbled before she began to spray and scrub across Brianna's exposed stomach that had the most paint covering it. Once Davina had got the paint off of the human girl's stomach, she slowly walked around Brianna's body to reach the back of her neck that was covered in orange paint and scrubbed there too.

Davina made sure that she got the paint off of the human girl's skin before she slowly stood up to stand in front of Brianna. The Claire witch couldn't help but bite down on her bottom lip as she looked into Brianna's dazzling hazel eyes for a moment or so before she brought the water hose up to Brianna's exposed chest and began to rub away the orange paint while their eyes continued to stay locked in unison.

Brianna hadn't been ready for the cold water to pound onto her chest when she had aimlessly gazed at the young witch, so she instantly released a loud shriek before she forcefully turned her body to the side to avoid the coldness - which ultimately caused her burgundy coat to be covered in water. "Davina!" The Gilbert girl quickly yelled out as she tried to shield the chilly water from her body.

"Crap! I'm so sorry!" The Claire witch hurriedly apologized as she quickly released the nozzle of the water hose before she tossed it to the grass when she noticed that she had soaked Brianna's coat. "Let me go get you a towel," Davina uttered before she rushed inside of the Claire house and grabbed three lavender towels from the cabinet by the backdoor.

Once Davina had the warm towels in her hands, she quickly rushed back outside with the soft fabrics. The Claire witch swiftly placed one of the towels over Brianna's now bare arms after she taken off her coat before Davina apologized once more as she felt bad about basically giving the human girl a cold shower, "I am so sorry, Bee."

Brianna couldn't help but release an amused chuckle by how apologetic the young witch was being. "It's okay, Dee," the Gilbert girl assured Davina before she grabbed one of the other towels and wrapped it around the Claire witch's shoulders. Brianna held the towel in place as she smiled softly at Davina for a few moments of calm silence while they gazed at one another before Brianna wondered in a quiet voice, "what's with the other towel?"

Davina's brown irises instantly widened before she yelped as she had completely forgotten about the last lavender towel in her arms, "oh!" The Claire witch nervously rubbed the back of her neck as she answered Brianna's question with a small tint of embarrassment to her soft voice, "I-I thought we could lay on it and watch the stars while we wait for our clothes to dry."

A wide grin immediately worked its way onto Brianna's face at the young witch's suggestion. "That sounds perfect," the Gilbert girl murmured as she brought her hand up to Davina's face and softly rubbed the pad of her thumb across the young witch's warm cheek.

Davina, of course, instantly blushed at the soft touches that she was receiving before she shot the Gilbert girl an excited and innocent grin as she murmured, "okay." The Claire girl then took a small step away from Brianna as she unfolded the last lavender towel before she laid it down in the center of the backyard. Davina felt she was too nervous to make the first move, so she waved her hand as to tell Brianna that she could get settled first.

Brianna released a small chuckle as she could practically smell the anxiousness coming off of the innocent witch but didn't comment on it. Instead, the Gilbert girl silently placed her wet covered bottom down onto the dry towel and laid back before she rose an eyebrow at Davina that told her that she could join. However, though, when Brianna noticed that Davina was half way onto the grass once she was settled onto the towel, the human girl instantly pulled the young witch closer to her so their bodies were practically connected all the way down to their legs.

The Claire witch shot Brianna a small, thankful smile before they both laid back and moved their pair of brown and hazel irises to the shining stars above them. The two teenage girls enjoyed each other's company as they stared up at the bright night sky with Brianna's arm wrapped around Davina's waist and Davina's hand lightly lying across Brianna's stomach.

Brianna honestly had never felt anymore relaxed than she did at that moment. The human girl knew that something was going on with her from the full moon hanging above them, but she just felt so calm and she knew it had all to deal with the girl lying next to her. Davina Claire just made her feel things that the human girl never thought was possible for her - the girl who plays with her boyfriend or girlfriend's feelings. Brianna honestly never wanted to let go of this feeling, ever.

The human girl and the young witch continued to stare up at the full moon and the stars surrounding it for a couple minutes of tranquility before Davina slowly turned on her side so she was now face to face with Brianna. The Claire witch couldn't help the wide and soft smile that lifted onto her lips as she just gazed at Brianna's relaxed figure.

However, the young witch was soon caught staring as Brianna also turned her face to the side when she felt someone looking at her. The Gilbert girl rose an eyebrow at Davina before she quietly questioned with her own soft smile plastered across her calming face, "what is it?"

Davina didn't say anything right away, though. Instead, the young witch continued to gaze across at the brunette beauty beside her for another minute or so. Davina had been thinking all night of just telling Brianna how she felt and each time she thought about it, she was a complete nervous wreck. However, now that she was staring into Brianna's hazel eyes, the young witch couldn't find it in herself to be nervous anymore. Davina felt like this was the right and perfect time, so the Claire witch shot Brianna a soft smile before she confessed in a whisper, "I think I'm falling for you."

A wide and honest grin immediately pulled onto Brianna's lips at the Claire witch's confession as she had just been waiting on the sign that Davina wanting something more out of their friendship and into a relationship. The Gilbert girl slowly brought her hand to Davina's face and rubbed her soft skin while she gazed into the young witch's brown irises. Brianna continued to stare over at the Claire witch with a soft smile on her face before she whispered right back her own feelings, "I know I'm falling for you."

Davina couldn't even begin to stop the wide smile that rose onto her lips as well when she heard the human girl's confession. The Claire witch couldn't control the happiness that she felt at the moment from the fact that her feelings weren't one sided. It was the best thing that Davina had heard in months and she wanted to show how much that it meant to her, so she slowly lowered her head down while she continued to stare into Brianna's sparkling hazel eyes before Davina pulled the human girl into a sweet and passionate embrace for their first kiss while the bright stars in the sky cheered them on.
