Chapter 1:
Time in Memoriam
Time has passed by so quickly for me and my family and the X-Men, esp. Whether you're a religious person, or not, time moves on. Whether you're a Biblical Creationist or an Evolutionist, this world, and the universe beyond had a beginning.
As I write this, I'm 97 years old, and the only Mutants living is my "old" friend James "Logan" Howlett, known previously as Wolverine, and Caliban. Writing this has been difficult because of my "unknown brain disease". I believe I suffer from hallucinations, and Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease. When I take my medication, prompted by Jim, I feel better and my seizures are not as harmful to those who I care about.
Sometimes, I'll have my friend James write a few things and I warn you now: He can be very vulgar and profane. I thought I had taught him better.
I do miss my friend Eric Lensherr and Dr. Jean Gray, Storm, and all the rest who have passed on from this life. I hope that if there is some form of "after-life", I hope to see them there.
