"... A supersonic exam class?" Celestia stared at her octopus of a tear, dumbfounded by his hyperactive self early in the morning. He was going side to side so fast that there were numerous clones of himself due to the afterimages. His clones were dispersed throughout the class, helping each and every student individually with their lacking subjects. Celestia wasn't sure if he was truly excited or if he wanted to demonstrate his ridiculous power by switching his headbands for each subject in between the afterimages.

"Math." Celestia read out loud the headband Koro-sensei wore for her before she frowned when he wore another headband immediately after she said that. "And critical thinking."

"That's right. Celestia, you're very good at memorization. And although the basics for math is just memorizing formulas, you have trouble when it comes to the questions with multiple layers. Especially word problems. As for your languages, they're both fine since you've learned English as well at a young age. But again, you can't seem to really expand on your thoughts." Celestia stared at the intimidating stack of worksheets he had slapped down onto her desk.

"Don't be nervous and don't panic. For math, just think of it as step by step. Or write out what is already given to you." Celestia obediently did as she was told for the first question before the image of her teacher began to distort. "Hey, Karma! No sneak assassinations! It'll affect the afterimages!" The redhead cheekily stuck his tongue out before also, remaining obedient.

"Sensei. Do you really think I'll be able to do it?" Celestia asked. Her usually quiet and straightforward personality made it into a surprising question for her teacher. Koro-sensei briefly pondered before calmly responding. "Celestia. Be confident. You're plenty bright enough and skilled. But there's always room for improvement if you allow yourself to."

The girl didn't say anything and focused on her work. As the lessons progressed each day and at the end of each day her teacher was drained from exhaustion, Celestia would throw her knife at him in which he would still dodge while fanning himself. Rio sighed and raised her arms behind her head. "Geez...why are you trying so hard? We don't even need to get high grades as long as we assassinate you. The money is more than enough to live luxuriously, right Celestia?" The purple haired girl nodded eagerly to which, Karma whispered "Gold digger." Instinctively, Celestia grabbed her pencil and attempted to jab it into the red haired devil who simply held back her arm with his equally monstrous strength. Her eyes were only a little bit narrowed as she, if you could call it a glower, stared at him intensely with hostility. "Annoying egotistical smartass."

"Now now…" Rio patted the girl's head as she pulled her away. "What's wrong with loving money. If you hate it so much we'll just divide the money up without your portion." Rio stuck her tongue out at Karma while calming down a squinting Celestia. As their classmates continued to express the disinterest of achieving high grades in the class, their teacher suddenly stood up with a darkened expression on his face. "I seem, none of you have what it takes to be an assassin. All of you follow me outside right now."

As the students filed outside, they watched their teacher stand in the middle of the field that was filled with weed and uneven soil. He started asking their two other teachers about the importance of having a first plan and secondary, and the first strike and another. He twirled around in the middle of the field until the dust from the field rose up causing them all to shut their eyes. "Those cannot wield a second blade, are not fit to be an assassin."

After the wind died down, Celestia opened her eyes with surprise. Not only did he clear the field out, but he lectured them that he had honed their second blades. "Place yourselves in the top 50 tomorrow during the midterms! Otherwise I'll leave!"

"'Get into the top fifty!' Was what Koro-Sensei said. Gosh, how would a class full of incompetencies like us make it?" Maehara asked while sighing deeply. The trio, Maehara, Isogai, and Celestia were heading towards their exam room in the main building. Maehara looked over at Celestia who was flipping through her magazine-rather than a notebook- on the recent orchestral performers. She herself was very fond of playing the cello, even in her older days, and was greatly interested in the musical world. Not to mention it was so easy to drown out Maehara's daily banter. He whimpered before latching himself onto her arm, causing the girl's eyebrows to knit together slightly. "Celestia, we're going to die."

Celestia tried to flip the page but Maehara's clinging caused her hand to be short of reach from the page. Isogai watched the tug of war happen before his eyes, amused at how the girl was able to effortlessly defeat Maehara in strength but was thrown off by how the boy wildly swung her arm. Everytime she thought she could reach the page, he would swing her arm-not intentionally- and she would have to give in to prevent the ripping of the magazine. Isogai still remembered the first day all of Class E met Koro-sensei. Celestia Seto was an assassin on hiatus.

"...to put it simply, your goal is to kill him. There are reasons why we chose all of you. I don't know why, but he requested that he teaches you guys and we had to reluctantly agree on the terms that he doesn't hurt you-we can also keep an eye on him. Second, there are thirty people who are close enough in a confined space to kill him." Karasuma finished. The scene was rather strange. A yellow...octopus? With guns pointed to his head by people in uniforms. As the agents passed around their weapons after the explanation, Celestia raised her hand. "How much is his bounty?"

Karasuma glanced in her direction. "30 million yen." Celestia loaded her gun immediately. "That's a darn good amount." In one quick, smooth action, she shot one bullet, threw a dagger, and leapt out of her desk. She held the two newly attained knives in her hand and lunged at him, of course the octopus easily avoided it. He cackled childishly at her futile attempts before the girl lets go of both of her knives. She studied his reactions, watching him leap back to avoid them stabbing his feet, nay, tentacles, before she speedily grabbed one dagger only and threw it at him. The octopus was flustered but dodged to the side.

"I see." Celestia picked up both of her knives and politely bowed in Koro-sensei's direction. She tested out her abilities and his, and she was sure unable to assassinate him. Her chances of being able to do so may increase drastically if her ex partner was her but she wasn't. She sat back in her seat, with all heads staring at her in astonishment. Karasuma checked the list of students again before speaking. "Celestia Seto...part of an assassination duo codenamed SC. I'll be counting on your experience."

"...I'm on hiatus. While I doubt it's possible to kill this monster I'll do my best to take the mon-, excuse me, to kill him."

"Ex-assassin?" The class stared at her with wide eyes. Celestia averted their gazes uncomfortably as the day oddly continued.

Isogai finally pulled his friend away and scolded him. Celestia shut her magazine as the group arrived at the class. The pair behind her swallowed nervously before she slid the door open to see everyone else was already seated. Once the three sat down, the teacher began to hand out the tests. He stopped beside Celestia and sneered down at her with the look of disgust.

"Pathetic." He muttered before Celestia snatched the paper from his hand, giving him a paper cut. He yelped and raised his fist as Celestia arched an eyebrow. The man retracted his arm and clicked his tongue in annoyance before passing on to the next group. The test was unexpectedly difficult. Especially the ones that required critical thinking and had complex layers. She sighed, she was never the one to use her brain. It was always just memorize or do as told. That's how she survived the previous years. Celestia began to tackle each question one by one until she reached the final question. The girl stared at it before filling a random answer and threw down her pencil. It's not as if I am the smarter one. She stood up and handed in her test before leaving.

"How did you like the final question?" Gakushu asked with a polite smile, but with a dry voice. He had just turned around the corner as Celestia left the class. Celestia blinked before brushing past him. "It was fine." Gakushu raised his arm, blocking the girl off and then he pointed between his brows. He tilted his head as his smile spread even further. "Your forehead always wrinkles here when you're concerned or stressed."

Celestia grabbed his collar with her right hand and she smacked her forehead immediately with her left hand. The pair stared at each other awkwardly because of the painfully loud smack. Gakushu smirked slightly and in response, Celestia pushed him against the wall, pressing her arm against his throat. "If you want to throw me into a pit of fire, don't do it half-assedly." An annoyingly familiar redhead left the classroom, causing Celestia to flinch.

"Hmm? What's this?" Karma asked and Celestia looked up at the ceiling in exasperation before letting go of Gakushu. Celestia closed her eyes and took a deep breath before walking away. Gakushu adjusted his collar and Karma leaned towards him with a grin. "Nice to meet you, Pres." Karma then twirled away from the angered orange haired boy.
