In the Enchancian gardens, the core group sat down pondering over everything that had happened to them. It was silent.

"So Hildegards got powers now..." if anyone was going to break the silence it was going to be Khalid.

"Yep" stated Vivian.

"She killed Zandar. By accident of course," he said. Zandar rubbed his hands where he was struck.

"Yep," Zandar said sadly, missing Hildegard.

"She may or may not be dead,"

"She's alive, I know it, "Amber frowned as she hugged herself. Cleo nodded beside her, eyes downcast.

"They didn't find a body,"

"Amber, Cleo. You've got face the facts. There's no way she could have survived a jump like that," James told them, his eyes sparkling with sympathy.

"And her powers... Snow? Lani never had snow with her powers, did she?" Jin questioned

"Maybe that has something to do with her genetics or something like that," theorised Maya.

"I think you're right," Desmond looked up from the book, he borrowed from a library at Hakalo. He was reading about the powers Lani had, "You see Hakalo is a tropical island so naturally Lani and her family could control tropical weather. So, if Hildegard is from Freezenburg, which is covered in snow..."

"... then that means herpowers are snow and probably ice-based. The magic must have somehow read her genetic material," finished Jun.

"This is crazy, absolutely crazy," murmured Vivian.

"Look I don't care about galactic whatever! We need to find Hildy and bring her back!" proclaimed Zandar.

"We don't even know if she's alive, Zandar! You want us to go looking for someone who might be dead? Let the adults handle this,"

"And this is why you were never involved in this group, Maya! You-" Zandar was about to end Maya's whole career but Hugo interrupted them.

"Shut up!" he yelled silencing them both, "Seriously we need to stick together, we cannot be arguing right now. It will only do us more harm,"

"Hugo's right guys. We can't bicker like, we need to stay as a team," agreed Sofia, "We also need to talk about Hugo's ring," Maya and Zandar stopped glaring at each other and backed down.

"Yeah, Hugo's ring is like the boy version of Sofia's amulet," observed James.

Sofia considered this, "I would ask Elena for help but she's on the East side of EverReam"

Amber groaned, "The exact side we can't even get in touch with,"

"We're going to have to figure this out on own then," said Jin. The group went silent as they thought of what to do.

"Sofia you have to do good deeds to earn powers, right?" asked Vivian.

"Well yes but even if we don't, we can still become invisible, do telepathy, grow and shrink, supreme strength, bounce really high and Cryokinesis," answered Sofia. She was confused when she saw everyone staring back at her, "What,"

"So you're telling me that you just read my mind. Sofia. Read my mind. Right now," Khalid demanded.

Sofia shuffled uncomfortably, "I don't really use that ability much. It's an invasion of privacy,"

"Well, I'm giving you permission. So do it,"

Sofia rolled her eyes fondly, "Fine," She looked straight into Khalid's eyes, "Khalid your mind is a scrambled mess, you're literally thinking of everything. Okay okay, I'll pick this one. One of your many thoughts is "I wish Ruby is here, she's so pretty"... and other things EW Khalid!"

Khalid grinned and blushed, " Yeah she can read minds alright,"

"Okay, so then can I do all that stuff?" Hugo asked.

"Probably. Try making yourself invisible Hugo,"

Hugo stood straight and pressed his eyes shut as hard as he cold,"

"Hugo, you look like somebody cast Petrificus Totalus on you. Just relax," suggested Jun. Hugo followed as she said and relaxed his body. Next thing they knew he was gone.

"He did it!" cheered Zandar.

"But where is he?" questioned Khalid ominously, looking around, " He could be there, here anywhe-" Khalid felt something push him into the flowers of the garden, "Okay, I think I've pinpointed his location,"

Hugo laughed as he reappeared, "That was awesome,"

"Now we just need to figure out what the gift from his ring is," said Vivian.

"What do you mean?" queried Jin.

"Hugo saved Zandar's life. Basically, bought him back from the dead! If Sofia gets to talk to animals just for helping a baby bird...imagine what Hugo's going to get," she answered.

There was a shocked hush among the group.

"You mean he can bring back the dead now?!" panicked Cleo. James and Zander grinned at each other.

"ZOMBIES!" They started imitating zombies, slobbering over Amber and Cleo.

"Get off, James!" Amber complained pushing them off, "And Khalid, get off those flowers. I've been growing them for ages,"

"You were?" challenged Maya, raising her eyebrow. Amber rolled her eyes

"Okay, the gardener did it. But I asked her too,"

"Hugo can't bring back the dead. That's impossible," Desmond argued.

"Actually, it's not. It takes a huge amount of power but its not impossible, " corrected Sofia. She walked over to the Khalid sized dent in the flowers. They were crushed and the colour had gone out of them, "Hugo, come put your hand here,"

Hugo followed Sofia to where she was and put his hand on the flowers. The entire group gasped as all the damaged flowers grew, larger than they were before.

Wonder glowed in Hugo's eyes as he dug his hand deeper into the dirt, the flowers responding by growing taller and more vibrant.

"Wow... This is better than what the gardener could have ever done,"Amber said awestruck as a thick archway of flowers blossomed over them. When the archway was done Hugo stood up, dusting his hands on his trousers.

"So... Hugo has power over flowers?" James asked, trying to hold in a laugh. Sofia laughed.

"No! He has the power to heal," She put his hand on a cut she had received during the Parents' Day fight and immediately it healed.

"That is so cool," gasped Jun.

"This could be a beneficial asset to us in the future," exclaimed Desmond.

"Why would we need this in the future, Desmond. It's not like we're going to get hurt a lot," laughed Cleo.

"I don't know guys. Look at everything that's happened. I think something's coming and it's something big,"Vivian said worriedly looking troubled.

"What can we do? We're just a bunch of 12-year-olds," complained James.

"Just a bunch of 12-year-olds? James, we're are so much more than that," started Khalid.

"Here he goes," sighed Maya.

"No no, seriously guys look at Sofia. She's the protector of the entire EverRealm,"

"I haven't been much of a protector recently," Sofia said sorrowfully. Hugo put his arm around her in an attempt to comfort her, "I didn't know about the Eastside,"

"Sofia how were you supposed to know when our parents didn't even tell you. Your amulet, the secret library, all of that magic stuff, nothing told you anything. It's not your fault. Everyone here has done at least one heroic thing if anyone can figure out what's going on, it's us,"

"Khalid, you genius!" Sofia squealed. Khalid smiled at her confused. "The Secret Library! If something big is going on, it's sure to be in one of the books," She turned to Hugo, "And you can come with me now, you have powers like mine,"

"Wait, wait, hold on," interrupted James, "I am not having you and Hugo in a secret library together, alone. We're coming,"

Sofia blushed, "James you can't come"

"Why ever not"

"Can you shrink?"

"No"

"You've answered your question," Sofia stood, "Me and Hugo will go check the library for any story. You guys wait for us here,"

"Actually, there is something we can be doing," smirked Khalid, "A certain sorcerer hinted something at me. There's going to be a Royal meeting with every single royal. At least the ones who they can reach. That's where we'll be,"

"I guess that's where we'll be then. Good luck you two," Zandar said as the group got ready to split up. James glared at Hugo

"Hugo. Do not. Under any circumstances. Touch Sofia,"

"What if she's falling to her death and I need to catch her,"

James thought about it ignoring Sofia's offended voice screeching, "James!"

"I guess you can touch her then,"
