As you set down outside the town and made sure you weren't covered in sugar or smears of anko paste, you thought that taking in the local culture would help you find the Wu! Or at least something semi-magical sounding in the area. This was the literal Land of 8 Million Gods, he could probably throw a Bot and hit magic.
What you got... was less than helpful. Most didn't really want to talk to the weird pale kid suddenly visiting them, even if he spoke Japanese, and the few that were willing to talk with you mostly focused on this weird giant bird that flew over them just a few minutes ago...which was you. Like, literally, that was you. You accidentally started a new rumor that got rid of older rumors! Which...might slow down other people who were trying what you did, but didn't really help you either.
The only good part of the day was hearing about a local greenhouse dedicated to importing and exporting rare flowers in and around Tokyo for beautification projects. If nothing else, it seemed like an alright chance of having the thing called the 'Lotus' Twister.

Okay, rather than cram these over the 1 k mark with little actually added, I'm dicing these sections into choose-its till something actually worth writing happens.
