I have got to stop doing this, letting my Quest and Stories lull into activity, it never works out for anyone! ...But my life to live! Haah~, anyway, here's more. With feelings too!

Now let's Kaku-Go to the grind.

After some serious deliberation, you decided to go to the Shrine. Why? Honestly, you weren't really sure. A desire to see an actual one in real life? You thinking a flower shop would be too easy a place to find the Wu in? A deep connection resonating and drawing you to the place? Some other fourth thing?

Fuck if you knew, but the Shrine it was.

As you crested up the steps, and got your first look at The Shrine, you could definitely feel the peace and serenity settling onto your shoulders. It wasn't the biggest in the world, standing about as tall and wide as a one-story house, but the giant shimenawa going around the place along with the Lion-Dog statues on each side really gave it a mystic feel to the place.

"Woo~, this place is kind of sweet. Might have been worth a visit even if it doesn't have the Wu." You whistled slightly to yourself, only to jump in fright with a small yelp as a voice came from beside you. Then you started freaking out for...other, reasons.

"Well thank you! I don't know what a 'Wu' is, but we pride ourselves in our pleasant atmosphere!" The cutest girl you had ever seen cheerfully replied as you suffered what had to be a small heart attack.

She was around the height of 5 foot 5 or 6, had green hair that went wonderfully with her small from and snake hairclips, and wore a shrine maiden's outfit in a way you had thought only possible in Anime.

Who...who was this girl! Where did she come from! WHAT WAS HER NUMBER!

"Habudah!" You blurted out before hastily covering your mouth, deeply mortified and wondering if you should just flee the country immediately.

The cutest shrine maiden ever tilted her head for a moment, obviously wondering what the sound was.

"Ara? You were speaking English a moment ago...were you trying to speak Japanese there? If so, I'm sorry, but it was terrible!" She finished with a large smile, making you flinch from the sheer positive energy being released.

It took another few moments to finally finagle your hands down and dry swallow enough to actually speak Japanese again, though it still had a small stutter.

"Ah-Ah, no! Just a little...choking! Yep, just a city kid, and the fresh air...took me a bit off guard." You finished a bit lamely.

The maiden though, just continued to smile and even nodded a bit.

"Oh! Yes, that would make more sense if you'd come this far out. The air around our shrine is a bit thinner and rich due to our height and the surrounding trees. Why, they even say the air here is heavy, with magic!" She giggled.

You did as well, hesitantly and suddenly much more focused on if anything was about to kill you. Fool you once...

"Anyway! Welcome to the Moriya Shrine, my name is Sanae, the local Shrine Maiden in training helping out today! Are you here for the general tour, to get a blessing, or take in the sights?" Sanae politely asked, making you blush and flinch again.

You couldn't say no to that face. That adorable, heart-pounding, face...

RIGHT! WHY YOU WERE HERE!
