Time to selves.
Hey all This will be mostly a Dead and Cagalli chapter for the most part, mostly as I felt they needed a moment. Also as you may have seen the rating has changed to M. Lemon is coming. Any way lets get on with the story now shall we.
Heero and Duo chose to remain with Kira and Lacus to offer some help protecting her should the attack come. The others returned to the ship while Dead went with Cagalli as they felt he needed some rest, and that the two of them needed some alone time.

''You approve?'' Asked Cagali as Noin nodded.
''Just make sure when the fighting is over you can elp him lead a peaceful normal life.'' Said Noin. ''I never wanted this life for him, but I am afraid there are things I cant do for him that you can.'' Noin then walked off. "I mean it take him away from all this fighting, take him him if thats what it takes, just please save him from this life of endless battles."

Cagalli knew what she needed to do.
Dead was staying with Cagalli in her room. But for now he was making sure things were safe.
Dead had entered into the room and, after taking his clothes off, decided to have a shower.

Which is why I want to protect the people I care for, including you. I can't bear to lose any more than I already have. I can only hope I am strong enough."
Cagalli used her hands to grasp Dead's cheek to make him face her. "If you want to protect me, then let me protect you. I don't want to lose you anymore than what has already happened either." Cagalli then hugs Dead with her face on his chest. Dead , surprised, instinctively hugs her back gently. "Please, don't do that again. It hurts and I'm not the only one to feel that way."
