Chapter Two: A New Look & Fresh Start!
"And what exactly is that supposed to mean Ronald," Hermione coldly spats.
"Well, isn't it obvious...I want to be with you..." Ron stupidly says.
"...oh really...?" Hermione coldly spats.
"Yes, really why are you acting so surprise," Ron told her.
"I'm not surprised I'm just in disbelief because you told me pacifically that you don't want to be with me," Hermione icy says.
Ron scoffed at this "I never said that" he says.
"Yes, you did,"
"No, I didn't,"
"Yes, you did, I even have many, many witnesses who can vouched for that,"
"Oh yeah who?"
"Everyone in this bloody table RONALD,"
"Why are you acting like this,"
"Acting like what exactly Ronald..."
"As if I never loved you,"
"Well I'm sorry if I don't believe what you're saying are sincere since you failed to express your feelings towards me," Hermione scoffed at this crossing her arms with an unreadable expression on her face "Ever since we first met Ronald you are the only person who ever made me cry from belittling me on my dreams on what I wanted to do I want to work and provide for my family while you want a stay at home wife, a mum to raise children when I don't want that. I want to travel all over the world, make new friends, discover new species with Luna because she's my partner in that department where we want to save animals from hunters. I want to fall in love with a guy who loves me for me, someone who I can trust, respect my wishes not just as his partner, a girlfriend but, as his wife as well and won't made me cry like you have, be supportive on my decisions knowing that he'll be there for me through everything, and you haven't once expressed any of that. You think I haven't had boyfriends in the past well guess what Ronald I have. I had many past boyfriends that you have no idea about even Draco Malfoy knows about it because he's one of my best friends and he's only doing what he did to protect me from jerks like you and if you think that little speech is going to win my heart you got another thing Ronald Billius Weasley. I'm done with this conversation and I'm going home," she spats as she apparated away.
"What the bloody hell was that about,"
Fred and George shakes their heads as they also left to go after Hermione to make sure she's alright while Percy coldly stares at him.
"Do you really think that whole speech is going to win her heart. You obviously don't know about women Ronald," Percy spats.
"And you do," Ron spats at this.
"Actually, I do consider I'm getting married to Ruby who happens to be Hermione's cousin we're getting married and she's expecting our baby our first baby actually and I'd be damn that you'll ruin that for me since Hermione is my family," Percy got up gathering his things turning to Mr. Weasley "Dad I'll see you later sorry I can't stay for dinner but, mother and Ronald have clearly ruined my appetite," he explained.
"Don't worry I get it I'll see you later son…" Author told him.
"Stop him Arthur," Molly cried out.
"No, I'm not going to stop Percy from falling in love Ruby is a sweet young lady and I'm happy for him. You can't stop him from being with someone he wants to be with and clearly you can't stop or force our daughter Ginny to be with Harry when she's happily engaged with Neville while Harry is happy being single, we're not his parents Molly so stop acting like you are,"
"Arthur, they belong together,"
This was when Harry got fed up and stand up irritated by this.
"Mrs. Weasley no offense, but you're not my mother. Ginny and I aren't getting back together because we decided that we're better as friends. Yes, I will always love Ginny and verse versa on her side but, we're not getting back together no matter how many times you want us too. Ginny's happy with Neville while I'm happy having fun for once instead of saving the world of the wizarding world so please stop trying to set us back together since it's never going to happen. I'm 17 years old for Merlin's sake you're acting as if I want to be with Ginny when she's engaged to Neville getting married within 5 months from now. Ginny and I are better off as friends and that's never going to change and if you can't accept that then deal with it because I'm done arguing with you over this," I snapped and left without looking back.
I knew it didn't help much but, I overheard Ginny snapping at her mum as she's happy with Neville and she's going to get married within 5 months as Ginevra Virginia Longbottom 'Ginny' and left with Neville and his grandmother Augusta who looked rather proud but, disappointed at Molly by glaring at the woman and told her that she's no longer welcome to their wedding. You can say that Mrs. Weasley didn't take the news very well as you can tell. After Ginny, Neville and his grandmother Augusta left Hermione left as well after snapping at Mrs. Weasley that she and Ron aren't planning on getting married anytime soon considering they're not together he made that perfectly clear last time she checked and wasn't planning on being with someone who's going to belittle her from getting a job and provide for her family instead of being a house mother to the kids. She's an independent woman with dreams and no man would ever stop her from that.
Despite the family drama Ginny's still my friend, one of my best friends actually as she explained that she and Neville gotten really close and started a relationship together. I told her that I'm happy for them both as I hoped we can be friends. You can see why Mrs. Weasley refused to accept that Ginny and I aren't back together considering Ginny is with Neville while I'm single. As far as I know it's working quite well for us as she and Neville were recounting their guests on who to invite and not to invite to their wedding as they want a private wedding nothing flashy or anything just a simple fairytale wedding just the two of them with their family and friends nothing more.
Anyway, sorry backtracked on my story there as for Ron, he got the taste of fame from being one third of the Golden Trio, he got Hermione which she was very hesitate since he never returned his feelings towards her until the end of their 6th year, even when we were on the hunt for the Horcruxes he never returned his feelings until recently which you can see why Hermione wasn't falling for it but, in the end he finally got the 'girl of his dreams' or so he claims he even got the position on the Chudleigh Cannons as Keeper, his favorite team in Quidditch of all times, the fan girls, the money and any other girl he wanted which includes his ex-girlfriend Lavender Brown.
At first Mione didn't have any idea that Ron's been cheating on her until we walked in on Ron with his ex-girlfriend Lavender after he was bitten by Greyback, Hermione 'being the good person' that she saved her from before she lost a lot of blood because of it which made things worst between us because of that bloody git wasn't even slightly bit remorseful for what he did. He told us that he's been cheating on her since they got together and that she was being a prude because she wouldn't give him 'his needs' so he went elsewhere which left me to snap and beat the shit out of him. However, Hermione was worst she hexed Lavender after they had a fall out between them and gave a disappointment look.
"Wow...this is the thanks I get for even reconsidering saving your life Lavender since you owe me a life debt but, you can just forget it I don't really need it and to think after we won the war years ago I thought we would've at least been friends but, I guess I was wrong..." Hermione began to say sadly then had an icy cold look towards Ron who stepped backwards and punched Ron that left him unconscious after hexing him from not waking up "ROT IN HELL RONALD!?" she exclaimed.
Once Ron was unconscious Hermione gathered all her stuff and left nothing behind by living with me, Sirius and Remus. When we left Lavender, she looked down ashamed by her actions in herself and before she can say anything our friendship with Ron was completely done and destroyed. When Jay found out what that git did by cheating on his little sister well let's just say he wasn't one happy camper considering he was helping Fred and George at the joke shop. When they all found out what Ron did, they practically hex the git for doing so after Jay beat the shit out of him so you can say his whole face was covered in bruises and cuts because of it. That was before I learned that Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott and Pansy Parkinson found out and they weren't happy about the news either; apparently Hermione became friends with Theo and Blaise first then became allies with Draco and Pansy until Draco learns some things that left them to become good friends which I didn't find out until 6thyear neither of them refused to answer which took me to admit that I was a little suspicious until Hermione told me that I don't have anything to worry about Draco or his friends.
I didn't believe her at first not that I don't trust her I do but, being friends with them made me suspicious so I followed her one night when I thought Draco Malfoy was going to hex her but, I was wrong turns out that Draco Malfoy and Hermione are connected somehow but, from what I wasn't sure. All Hermione can tell me that I wasn't ready to hear the news yet but, Draco beg to differ stating that I can handle it but, Hermione wouldn't have it which left Draco in a huff that left me very confuse. Draco stared at me for a moment as if it was amusing for him but, shook his head and left before I can say anything.
Before we all became friends Draco, which Mione and I used to call him 'Malfoy' while he calls us 'Potter' and 'Granger' we made a truce during the beginning of our last year in Hogwarts. He apologized for everything for what he did and practically begged Hermione for forgiveness for what his crazy aunt did. If he knew before he would've found a way to save us earlier things would've been different but, bless Hermione's heart for good she forgave him as it wasn't his fault. He even apologized for everything for what he did to us during our school years and hope we can start over and be friends, this time I agreed to be his friend and start over since then we've been really close which wasn't making Ron happy over the news, he even stated that Mione and I betrayed us from associating with the Slytherin snakes but, neither of us cared since they're our friends, our family who treated us as one. When Draco and the gang learned about Ron's cheating on Mione well let's just say they're all pissed off as they also hexed him with the help of Dean, Blaise, Ginny, Luna, Neville, and the rest of the Weasley's except Molly since she wasn't exactly in speaking terms with both me and Hermione at the time who took care of Ron as he won't be moving for the next few months until his body turns back to normal thanks to Hermione's powerful hexes that she created her own spells in case things turned sour between them.
In fact, I remember the conversation I had with Draco and the guys when we were hanging out in the pub in muggle London since we're getting to escape from the paparazzi let's just say they weren't happy with the news.
"Hey Harry," Draco greeted me with a nod.
"Hey Drake, long time no see," I told him.
Draco rolled his eyes at this "I just saw you a week ago it wasn't that long,"
I pouted at this "It feels forever for me don't you miss me," I told him.
Draco pushed me lightly "Of course I miss you but, when you called it sounded urgent anything wrong?"
"Let's just wait for the rest of the gang and I'll tell you what happen,"
Draco looked rather confuse but, nodded as we waited for the rest of our friends arriving to the pub.
Did I also mention that Draco and I got really close with each other during 6th year—before he became a double spy thanks to Severus Snape, I didn't know that he was a double spy but, it didn't help how he bullied Neville and I the most along with Mione but, that's a different story. I can tell Draco anything without any judgement besides Mione of course we're practically family to one another. We were hanging out in muggle London when I decided to call and tell everyone to meet up with Draco and I in muggle London what happen between Ronald and Hermione.
"You will never believe what Weasley did to Mione again," I flatly replied.
"Weasley what exactly did he do this time?" Draco asked nearly sneered at this. I can't blame the guy he always hated Ron.
"You call him Weasley too," Blaise quickly added as he just arrived at the pub with his girlfriend Luna who greeted me.
"Hello Harry," Luna greeted me.
"Hey Lulu, how are you?"
"Good, I had a vision about Ronald…I hope it's not what I think it is.
"…I believe it might be you were right Lulu,"
Luna sighed sitting on the stool "I was hoping to be wrong but, he can never change his spots," she pouts.
"Who would?" Blaise asked.
"Ronald. His spots hasn't changed," Luna told him.
"Ah,"
"So why are you calling him Weasley all of a sudden?" Blaise asked.
"Now I do,"
"What happen. Harry don't tell me that Mrs. Weasley caused another argument," Neville asked obviously protective with Hermione along with Ginny.
"That bloody git cheated on Mione Nev," Ginny scowled at this causing everyone to turn to her crossing her arms "When I got a call from Mione she was crying but, I managed to calm her down at least until Luna came and arrived. She was hysterical and thanks for helping me calm her down Lulu," she explained.
"Of course, Mia is like a big sister to me I never did understand why she would want to go out with your brother though. They don't have that much in common and I knew he wasn't the right guy for her," Luna explained.
"Neither of us did she even claimed that she wants nothing to do with him and then all of a sudden they're going on and then poof they're not going out," Neville replied.
"What are you saying Nev?" Ginny asked worriedly.
Neville had this deep thought in his expression "I can't prove it yet but, I have some theories,"
"Tell us,"
"I mean he's not smart enough to do that kind of thing…but, …"
"But, what?"
"I'll tell you guys later when we're all alone there's people starting to eavesdrop on our conversation,"
Draco and the gang nodded as they agreed silently.
"So how did Mia found out that he cheated on her," Draco asked.
"We walked on Ronald in the common room in Gryffindor Tower, that git didn't even look sorry," I told him with a scowl.
"That makes two of us," Ginny scowled at this and frowned "I hope Mione is okay,"
"She'll be fine she's stronger than she looks babe," Neville giving Ginny a sincere hug "And trust me I made sure to make your brother life a living hell,"
"How?"
"Let's just say he won't be able to have a children in his nearest future,"
Everyone stared at him with terrifying looks.
"Remind me not to get in your bad side,"
"Trust me …no one does especially when it comes with Mione. She helped me become how I am now. I'm more confident and strong because of her. I owe her one,"
"And you always been a brave man Nev which left me to fall in love with you," Ginny replied.
Neville flushed causing everyone to chuckle "I feel the same way babe," he says as they gave each other a sincere kiss.
Draco had a thin line expression "He's a bloody idiot…and guys keep the love in a minim between you two huh we don't need to see that" he swore under his breath in French causing everyone to chuckle on his comment as he turned to Harry "Don't worry Harry we'll make sure to make his life a living hell. No one hurts my best friend like that," he explained.
"I thought I was your best friend," Blaise cried out dramatically jokily hurt.
Draco rolled his eyes "Oh don't be so dramatic B you know what I mean. Does Pansy even know you know they became best friends with each other since the war ended thanks to Theo," he pointed out.
"Oh trust me…Pansy knows and she's not happy in fact she's angry when she learned what happen from Mio herself," another voice answered as we turned to see Theo who had a scowl on his face "And he's not going to have any children in the future including every whore that he's been with. Pansy made sure of it," he explained.
"How's Mia now?" Blaise asked worriedly.
"She's okay, still heartbroken but, she's okay last time Luna and I checked," Ginny answered.
"That's good she deserves better than him any bloke would be damn lucky to be with Mione I know that for sure," Neville explained.
"Yes, she does and your right any guy would be damn lucky to be with her," I told him.
"Does Jay know about this we all know how overprotective he was with his sister," Luna asked curiously.
"Let's just say Jay took care of that bit," I told her.
"How?" Draco asked all confuse.
"You do realize he's in Hufflepuff don't you best friends with Cedric Diggory," I explained.
"Yeah, I remember you and Mia told me about it the other day. What about it?" Draco asked.
"Let's just say besides Ginny, Luna and Pansy who made sure he won't have any future children along with his whores and slags. Jay can do things much, much, much worst," I explained.
"What do you mean?"
"Meaning I can ruin his reputation from being a war hero to a cheating git," another voice began to say as we all turned around to see Jay with Bill, his wife Fleur, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George Weasley who recently joined us to meet up "Sorry we're late we had to tell dad what happen turns out he's more upset than mum is,"
"Why isn't mum upset Char?" Ginny asked.
"Because she doesn't believe Mione didn't give him what he needs which is to be a stay home wife like herself, she even stated that she needs to learn how to cook and feed after their children and the husband which made things worse," Charlie scowled crossing his arms "I told mum to watch what she says about Mione but, she's not willing to listen," he explained.
"Bill, Percy, Fred, and George had to hold me back when I heard that from your mum Ginny," Jay scowled crossing his arms with a dead look on his face "She's so lucky that she didn't witness my bad side….yet," he explained.
"Trust me no one wants to be in your bad side Jay …trust me even I witness it beforehand and it's not pretty," Bill says with a shiver.
"Is it that terrifying," Blaise asked.
"Yes," Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George replied causing Ginny startled by her older brothers.
"How did you guys meet anyway?" Ginny asked.
"Through school. He's the same age as me and Freddie Gin," George replied.
"And he's also best friends with Cedric Diggory being in Hufflepuff,"
Ginny gave an 'O' upon her lips and nodded at this "It's nice to finally meet you. Mione told me all about you I'm Ginny," she explained.
Jay chuckled "It's nice to finally meet the young sister of my best friends minus your brother Ronald among the rest of you," he explained.
"It's nice to finally meet you too mate," Blaise replied.
"Where is Mia anyway I'm surprised she's not with us today," Fleur asked with her French accent.
"She's with my parents, mum had a doctor's appointment she's in her 2nd trimester on her pregnancy and she learned that she's expecting not one but, five children. Mio had to make sure our mum was alright knowing how dangerous that is," Jay explained.
"Quints?" Ginny asked.
"Yes, that's right my mum's expecting Quints and it won't be long till their born," Jay explained.
"When there's due date,"
"By Easter in April,"
"Ooh can we plan the baby shower I love planning things,"
"Of course mum would love that thank you Luna,"
"It's not a problem I'm happy to help Jay,"
"Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?" Ginny asked.
"Three boys and two girls," Jay proudly says.
"Awe so cute did your parents decided on their names yet," Luna asked.
"Well my parents are debating on that so we're still waiting on the full names right now. There's a lot of names that my parents wanted to use that's why," Jay explained.
"Understandable. I can't even imagine carrying Quints for nine months I don't know how your mum did it Jay," Ginny explained.
"She's stronger than she looks Gin trust me. How do you think Mia and I inherited it from," Jay smirked causing everyone to chuckle "Besides I'm sure Mia needs some time for herself you know," he explained?
"True, true I hope she's okay. I know how much she cared for Ronald…" Fleur worriedly asked.
"Don't worry Mia will be fine. She's strong I don't think it will take her long to move on with her life after all it's not like Ronald was her first relationship. She had other relationships before him you know," Jay pointed out.
"She did with who?" Ginny asked.
Jay shrugged at this "A few blokes, I don't think anyone knew about her relationship in her past only because she doesn't like to show off unlike some girls in Hogwarts," he explained.
"That's true, who did she dated before if you don't mind asking?" Luna asked.
"She dated a few blokes from the Scamander's side. Newton Scamander IV, his brother Theseus UV then there's Seth Santos, then his half-brother Jax then there's Viktor Krum for a while, then Oliver Wood, Cedric Diggory as well then, a few others. I'm friends with some of them despite they broke up it was mutual between them so we're still good friends with each other because our parents are best friends since their school days," Jay explained.
"Really," I looked rather surprised by this with Jay nodding at this "I never knew that Mione dating Oliver Wood or Cedric Diggory. How did I not know that and how come Mione never told me this," I pouted at this?
"That's because you never asked her Harry," Jay pointed.
"There's a lot of things that I don't know about Mione huh Jay. Like for example I didn't know she had siblings to begin with until I met you in my 4th year remember," I pointed out.
"I remember, and that's true but, I have heard of you Harry from Mio. She always talks about you all the time in our letters and sometimes we have long chats when you and Ronald both thought she's in the library when she's with me in our hide out inside Hogwarts not even the headmaster knows about it," Jay explained.
"What hide out?" Draco asked.
"Ah…that's a family secret Draco only our family would know and maybe you should ask your father about it," Jay explained.
"My…father…?"
"Yes, your father Lucius Malfoy,"
"I know who he is…I just…I'm confused how is my father related to all of this?"
"Try asking him,"
"Can't you tell me?"
"Nope. I vowed to keep it as a secret to the grave and I intend to keep that way besides your father should've told you before since it's not my story to tell Draco,"
"Tell me what?"
"Go ask him when you see him,"
"I would…but, he's in Azkaban…since he did a lot of bad things even before the war started,"
"He may've done a lot of bad things but, he's not in Azkaban at least not anymore…"
Draco blinked his eyes dumbly "What do you mean not anymore of course he is,"
"No he's not Draco…Hermione and I …may've saved him from going to Azkaban,"
"You and Hermione helped my father…by saving him why,"
"….Let's just say …your father owes Hermione a huge debt,"
"A huge debt…how much and should I be afraid of this?"
"Trust me kid just be thankful that your father got a second chance to redeem himself with his family and we helped your parents gained another child. More than one actually but, I'll let them tell you the news though,"
"Tell me what exactly?"
"Draco, I think you should talk to your parents about this. You even admitted awhile back that you always wanted a sibling and that you didn't want to be an only child, didn't you?"
"I did—wait a minute how did you know that?"
"I was just like you I wanted siblings at your age except I was a bit younger than you and my parents by miracle had another baby which is my sister Hermione. I'm thankful for that and we're practically best friends with each other she knows me inside out just like I know her. You should be thankful that we helped you Draco," Jay explained.
"And did you regret it having Mio in your life,"
"No I don't regret anything. Mio is her own person my parents taught us to be independent and not rely on others especially for Mio. She has bigger dreams then working in the Ministry you know," Jay began to say with a distant look then turned to Draco "And let's just say that you and your parents owe Hermione a lot huh?" he explained.
"Did she help my parents gain another child…"
"She did,"
"How? I never told her that I wanted a sibling only my parents did,"
"My parents were like that once until they saw a specialist and helped them gain another child which gave Mio an idea to help your parents,"
"Are you saying that my parents are—"
"If I answer yes, would you stop pestering with questions?"
"Yes…"
"Then yes she did,"
Draco looked dumbstruck on this "Wh-wh-why?" he was shaken by this.
"Because my sister has a big heart and she tends to help people that way including your parents,"
"After—after what happen to her…in the war…I assumed she told you,"
"…she did,"
"….Do you even know who I am?"
"I do…your Draco Lucius Malfoy only son and heir to the Malfoy family, parents Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy,"
"…how did you—and why don't you hate me?"
"I did once…until Mio told me what happen,"
"…and what exactly did she say?'
"A lot of words that I rather not repeat but, eventually she forgave you and your parents and let's leave it like that,"
Draco stood quiet nervously shaken "….well in future reference tell Mio thank you for me,"
"Of course Draco I'll be sure to tell her when I see her tonight,"
"Tell me what?"
Everyone turns to see Hermione with a new outfit, her make up all naturally cat eye look which left everyone speechless.
"What?"
"Y-y-you look …rather different Mione, what brought this on?"
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
"Defiantly good thing. I thought you're with mum and dad Mio?"
"I was with mum and dad for a bit but, then I saw you guys here thought I say hey,"
"You're in muggle London,"
"Well yes, I was hanging out with my girlfriends and we just bid goodbye because she's starting her new job today and she wanted to make a good expression?"
"Athena well technically she's my cousin along with Jays of course, she's from daddy's side of the family we're very close,"
"Cool, maybe next time when she has a day off, we can all meet her right?"
"Of course I'm sure she would love that so what are we all talking about?"
"Nothing much…" Blaise began to say as everyone rapidly change the subject not wanting to upset Hermione after all she just had a bad breakup not that long ago "But, we heard what happen between you and Weasel…you deserve better Mia and how are you feeling since it happened?"
"Thanks Blaise and don't worry I'm fine now it may've took a while for me to get over that cheater but, she can have him for all I care," Hermione replied with a shrug drinking her Shirley Temple with extra cherries on top.
"You mean you're not upset anymore Mia?"
"Nope not anymore. I realize that I shouldn't waste my tears over the cheater. I can find a better guy than him, can't I?"
"Of course you can and good. I never liked him anyway you deserve the best and be treated like you're his Queen Mia,"
"Thanks J.J. so what do you guys wanna do since I have the whole day free?"
"Want to go to the mall it's not far from here which is down the street?"
"Yes, we should go shopping I need new clothes,"
Ginny blinked her eyes dumbly "Clothes since when you love shopping Mione,"
"I always loved shopping Gin I just … never had many girlfriends to shop with,"
Ginny soften her eyes hugging her best friend with Luna not far behind "Well now you do you can go shopping with me and Lulu since we need to look for wedding dresses without the guys around. We can have a girls day and invite Pansy along what do you think?" she explained.
"Yes, we should do that and planned everything out. We have a lot of planning to do for your weddings not far behind,"
"There's so much for us to do but, I'm sure we'll figure it out we always do," Ginny sighed at this causing Neville to kiss her shoulder "What do you think Nev?"
"You can have whatever you want luv. You know I want you to have your dream wedding of your dreams,"
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive Gran would want you too as well,"
"That's true,"
"Do you mind Blaise?"
"Not at all mi amore you can have your dream wedding as much as Ginny has hers,"
"But I do have a question though?"
"Shoot,"
"Aren't you wearing new clothes Mio and I love your outfit it goes together with your look,"
"Thank you, Gin, and yes I am but, I need new clothes for the summer,"
"That's true then let's go to the mall," Jay announced.
"Yes, I agree and show you guys what muggle, London looks like in muggle form," Hermione whispered the last part in low tones then continued to talk "Which no offense to the Wizarding World but, muggle London has better clothes no offense to you guys,"
"None taken and I actually agree with you Mia,"
"Brilliant I promised Pansy we buy her some clothes since we're the same size,"
"Cool sounds like a plan come on guys the mall awaits,"
"This will be fun? I'm actually curious how you're going to react over this," I chuckled knowing the guys are going to be so surprised by the new items that muggle London has "I also need new clothes too," he explained.
"Harry, you need new clothes since the minute you stepped foot to school but, we never got a chance to go shopping for it but, since we have all the free time now the time to go shopping for you guys too," Hermione beamed at this as she dragged me by the arm while I grabbed Draco with a yelp as everyone followed us crossing the street heading to the Mega Mall in Muggle London.
"Cool sounds like a plan let's go," I explained.
"Harry you're hurting my arm," Draco whined at this.

"By holding my hand?" Draco raised his eyebrow at me.
I flushed at this "I don't see you complaining," I murmured.
Draco chuckled "Whatever you say Harry," he murmured.
Turns out I should've accepted Draco's friendship the first chance I got apparently, Draco and I have a lot in common not only he's one of my best friends practically soul brothers now. At first, I was a bit hesitate until Hermione told me that Blaise is currently dating Luna so that's how our friendship started so now, we're best friends. When I told Draco, what happen, he swore and cursed under his breath and went to hex the bloody git so you can say Ron been cursed, hexed, and even had boils on his face every time we passed each other at school.
Hermione has always stood by me since 1rst year and never once turned her back on me unlike some which isn't worth mentioning. Making her my sister in all senses except blood who I consider as family. I have a small family though. There's Hermione Granger my sister but, blood, then there's Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, Blaise Zabini, Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson, Fred & George Weasley, Ginny Weasley, most all of the Weasley's except Ron and (sometimes) Mrs. Weasley when she's not trying to meddle into my business which I roll my eyes on that.
[another flashback]…
"So Mione…what brought you to change your look?" Ginny curiously asked.
"I just decided that I need a fresh start and to do that I needed to change my look so I told my cousin Athena which she's more than happy to help me with it," Hermione explained.
"Well I'm glad you did because this outfit really suits you well and I always knew you were better off without my brother anyway Mione," Ginny explained.
"I am too and I honestly don't know what brought me to like him…I mean last time I recall …I never wanted to get together with the guy then poof…I'm together with your brother," Hermione explained.
"It is a bit weird don't you think?" Luna asked.
"It really is,"
The guys however, heard this conversation looking at each other with worry and wary looks especially Jay but, didn't say anything yet.
"So what kind of wedding dress are you both looking for?"
"Not sure yet but, I do have an ideal wedding dress in mind,"
"Like what?"
"Like a Cinderella ball gown kind of thing. I really loved her dress when I saw that Disney movie we watched from our last sleepover with the girls,"
"That was fun, wasn't it? Chatting away talking about boys, clothes, etc. dancing to music and doing karaoke. I miss that,"
"We do too,"
"You know what we should do…"
"What?"
"Have a sleepover,"
"The three of us?"
"Yes, it's always been the three of us plus Pansy, Susan and Hannah. I'm sure it will be so much fun and we can chat about the wedding knowing the guys they're not going to be much help since it's our job to plan everything,"
"That's a brilliant idea I bet Pansy, Susan and Hannah would love that since we have all from different houses. Ginny and I from Gryffindor then Luna, then Pansy then Susan and Hannah," Hermione explained.
"Don't forget Padma I want her to come can she come Mia?"
"From the Patil twins yes, I rather have her in our sleepover than Parvati, she's just not…the type of person that I trust right now,"
"That makes two of us she's such a gossiper with Lavender they both don't know how to shut their mouth about something which isn't anyone's business," Ginny scowled at this which everyone agreed at this.
"I can't argue with that they're both gossips and can't keep their mouth shuts," Harry replied.
"Exactly and—" Hermione stopped to see a karaoke machine in the mall which left her pause for a moment which her brother Jay saw her determine look "And…"
"And what?" Blaise asked.
"Nothing," Hermione shakes her head as they continued to walk around the mall which Jay stopped them.
"It doesn't seem like nothing Mio if you want to sing go sing. It's been a long time since I heard you sing Mio," Jay pointed out.
Hermione looked hesitated "I-I-I don't know…"
"You sing Mione?"
"Not that well,"
"Not that well are you kidding you're like amazing Mio everyone in the neighborhood were cheering you on and you would always win first place in the singing competition remember," Jay explained with a snort knowing his sister doesn't like to show off.
"I wasn't that good…"
"You weren't just good you were amazing, good in fact I dare you to sing in front of this crowd, see if you still got it,"
"In front of everyone no way,"
"What…don't tell me you're scared?"
"….I'm not scared J.J. you know why I don't sing in front of crowds,"
"Baby girl you can't let fear take over you practically won the war singing in this front of this crowd isn't anything but, a piece of a cake what's stopping you. If you want me to, I'll go with you,"
"Can you really?"
"We can sing your favorite song Pyramid?"
Hermione hide her smile "Really?"
"Yes, really I'll sing the guy's part,"
Hermione held her breath and nodded in agreement "Okay," she says.
Once Jay and Hermione head to the guy name Miles who's in charge of the karaoke box, everyone got intrigued by this notion as they sat down on the table in the front to see Hermione sing and boy are they up for a huge surprise. The song starts to play which was a good beat.
"Hey, yo, yo, yo guys welcome to the Karaoke Box where dreams come true, we have a return singer who hasn't sung in a long time, my longtime friend and colleague Hermione Granger and her big brother Jay who are going to sing for us," DJ Pauly DC who turned to them "What song are you going to sing for us?"

This is when Hermione started to have a hard time breathing which Jay noticed as he started to play along with the song.
"You got this baby girl," Jay whispered to her.
"How? I'm already have anxiety over this," Hermione murmured.
"Just close your eyes, breathe and pretend that you had no responsibility and I'll be right there with you," Jay pointed at this.
"You promise?" Hermione murmured.

Whooo I'm on a roll today! So far, I'm in Ch. 3 which I figured I twist a few things. I'm going to have some of the Slytherins switch into the light side and became friends with Harry and Hermione and became a family. At least to the ones who they consider family anyway.
