Tom Watts sat on the sand beside Elizabeth looking out at the ocean. It was a beautiful sunny day. Tom was enjoying

his break from football as much as being reunited with the woman he loves and finding out they were expecting.

Tom was also deep in thought thinking about all the things that needed to be done before the baby was born.

They needed to buy a home and prepare the nursery. He was also playing football until Christmas. Elizabeth

would need to do her exams to graduate early. Tom was so deep in thought he didn't notice Elizabeth was watching

him silently.

"Are you okay?" Elizabeth asked with a tender smile.

"Yes, just lost in thought" Tom answered with a gentle chuckle. "It is a lot to take in".

"Yes, it is" Elizabeth agreed, staring back out at the ocean. Tom pulled her closer to him.

"Sweetie, I'm so happy" Tom added, brushing a kiss on her cheek. "The timing however…"

"Yes, we could never get it right" Elizabeth sighed. Tom turned Elizabeth's face to look at him.

"Liz, don't think like that, I admit he is coming earlier than we originally planned but it is still an

amazing thing" Tom reassured her. Elizabeth smiled back at him, nodding. Tom pulled her

closer and kissed her lingeringly.

Suddenly, Elizabeth felt a tingle in her belly. The baby moved for the first time.

"Did you feel that?" Elizabeth asked anxiously. Tom glanced back at her confusedly.

"I'm sorry honey, did I hurt you?" Tom asked, worriedly.

"No, Tom give me your hand" Elizabeth answered. Tom gave Elizabeth his hand who placed it on her belly.

Elizabeth waited for a moment or two before sighing in defeat. "Darn he stopped".

"Don't worry honey, we will again, and I will glue my hand there until he does if I have to" Tom teased her.

Elizabeth giggled and squeezed his hand gently.
