Danny Wyatt glanced at his watch for the fifth time where was Tom?. Winston and Denise approached the table he was seated at.
"Hey, Danny, no sign of Tom and Liz?" Winston asked. Danny shook his head.
"No, I got a message from him before saying they were back from the beach" Danny told him.
Denise turned and smiled when she noticed Tom and Elizabeth coming through the doorway. Tom had his arm firmly around Elizabeth's waist. Elizabeth was smiling.
"About time Tombo" Danny exclaimed when he saw them approach.
"Sorry Danno took a bit longer upstairs than we thought" Tom apologised. He assisted Elizabeth to sit down at the table. He said into the chair beside her across from Danny.
"So, c'mon the hospital visit and we haven't seen you much since" Danny added. Tom exchanged a look with Elizabeth who nodded.
"Elizabeth and I are expecting our first baby" Tom confessed. Danny's eyes widened in shock. Winston's jaw dropped also. Denise squealed happily going to hug them both.
"Oh, Liz how exciting how far along are you?" Denise gushed. Tom squeezed Elizabeth's hand supportingly. Elizabeth squeezed back.
"Twelve weeks" Elizabeth told them.
"What about college?" Winston asked. "Are you leaving SVU?"
"Yes, I am graduating early" Elizabeth confirmed. "Then moving to Denver with Tom. Elizabeth has told her sister all of this before she came down to dinner. Jessica couldn't believe she was going to be an aunt so soon. But was excited for them too.
Elizabeth noticed that Laurent entered the dining room and locked gaze with him. She gave him a small wave. Laurent came over to say hello to the group.
