Chapter 22: The Plan
We returned home a little while later, we looked suspicious. Hatori had multiple plasters (A.N: Band-aids whatever else you call them) on him. The most noticeable one was the one on his cheek. My hand was tightly wrapped up in a bandage. I don't know how we got back with these injuries. Hatori was hiding more from me… His neck? Back? I don't know…. The only thing he had complained about was his head. Ayame was the first to greet us. He made quite the noise. I thought back to earlier…
"We'll talk to Ayame later, We'll say that we got into a little accident or something," I had said
"Shigure make sure no one finds out," He frowned
"Yes sir!,"
"Now focus, I don't want to get injured further," I laughed remembering his face. I went inside to see Ushio, Yuki, Tohru and Haru playing some sort of game. The rest (Hiro, Kisa and Momiji had gone back) They looked at us with startled faces. Mostly at Hatori who looked terrible no matter what he did to cover his injuries. His hair was messy and he was refraining from holding his head in his arms.
"Let me play!" I smiled
"What happened to you?" Haru asked time to put on that act!
"... I made a mistake," Hatori sighed
"You let him drive?" Yuki and Haru frowned
"I can drive!" They're buying it… Hatori went over to Tohru and asked her how she was feeling. Tohru being the kind girl she is. Decided to worry about us instead.
"Are you okay?" She looked genuinely worried.
"Yes, yes," I said waving my hand to show it was nothing. It hurts.
"Don't do that," Hatori frowned, he left the room. He was going to check on Kyo, I think. I followed after him. I opened the door and shut it behind me. Upon going in, I noticed that Kyo was awake, well not completely, Hatori was talking to him. I tiptoed over to the corner and listened.
"Kyo, how do you feel?" He asked, Kyo moaned in response
"...W..hat?"
"Where does it hurt?" He continued to ask questions whilst I waited in the corner. Kyo glanced towards me with great discomfort. Hatori turned to look at me.
"Out, I be there in a bit," He frowned
"OK," I sighed and left the room

After making sure that everyone was fine, Hatori, Ayame and I had managed to talk about what had happened at the Main House.
"Hmm," Ayame was thinking about what we had told him,
"Ushio," Hatori began
"What about her?" I asked
"What if I have to erase-" He mumbled which was unlike him to do so.
"You won't," Ayame and I said, He looked at us with a puzzled expression
"But how…?"
"Who was the person who said he wouldn't put up with it anymore?" I asked
"...Me?" He replied uncertainly
"Yes, We won't let anyone get hurt," Ayame spoke
"We're the older ones…"
"Exactly," I said "So we take responsibility," They nodded in response. We continued talking for a while after that. A little while later the door slid open and in came Yuki.
"I wanted to ask you something," He hasn't caught onto our lie has he?!
"Go ahead," Hatori remained calm unlike me.
"Do… I know… Ushio?"
"She's in the same house as you, of cour-"
"Not like that! In the past, Did I…?" You did… Is what I want to say. But… I looked over to Hatori, It's his decision.
"No," Hatori said quite bluntly. Knew it. But why didn't he tell the truth.
"Right, How could I anyway…" He left and Ayame and I looked at Hatori in confusement.
"Why didn't you tell him?" Ayame asked
"It would confuse everyone," He sighed
"How?" Ayame frowned
"It would be a pain to explain everything," I said
"Yuki's already in pain, He feels guilty… If we suddenly told him about her who knows what would happen," Hatori and I agreed
"They would get together?" Ayame frowned not understanding us
"It's not that simple," Hatori sighed
"If they are to be together. IF. Then they'll remember each other, Yuki's memories weren't erased," I said
"He should remember it, I don't know why he doesn't," Ayame mumbled
"They were nine or ten years old," Hatori frowned
"We can't do anything, What if Ushio leaves? She knows about the curse. What if something happens to Tohru because Ushio left knowing of the curse?" The other two looked at me and nodded
"So we're using the two?"
"No," I lied, We were using them "We're protecting Tohru,"
"Everyone," Ayame said
"Yes…" I nodded. Hatori seemed to be deep in thought.
"Ushio… She knew about the curse before… as far as I know she thinks it was a dream. So all she needs to do is come to the realization that it was real," He spoke, Ayame seemed to look happier.
"My dear brother will have the romance he so deserves!" He grinned
"Just not Tohru," I sighed, I hate to do this, "Kyo, does he remember what happened?"
"I do not know, We'll have to wait," Hatori frowned and Ayame sat back down and tilted his head in confusement.
"What are you-" I stopped him
"For the curse to break, Tohru and Kyo have to be together," I spoke with a serious tone
"It's already been said that maybe Tohru Honda will break the curse, but why do they…" Hatori and Ayame both looked bewildered
"The curse will break if Kyo truly loves someone. Which is Tohru,"
"That…"
"Someone is bound to get hurt," Hatori looked away
"...It's better than the current situation,"
"How long have you been planning this?" Ayame sighed with a small smile
"A while actually! Isn't it great!" I smiled,
"..." The pair sat in thought,
"The cat needs to forgive the rat, If Kyo and Tohru are together then Kyo's heart will become warmer. Tohru will get rid of that hatred and weaken the curse. This way Akito won't have anything to do, Sh- He'll have nothing, This will break the curse," I spoke with determination.
"You sounded so cool," Ayame grinned, Hatori still looked at me with a serious expression.
"You're certain this will work?" He asked "What if Kyo doesn't remember what happened?"
"We make him remember,"
"You don't know how long that'll take,"
"We have Yuki and Ushio to help us," Hatori and I could kill someone with our glares. He moved back and sighed
"You plan to use them…"
"Sadly… Yes,"
"If anyone ends up getting hurt… Don't expect me to fix things. I won't be your friend but I won't be your enemy," He stood up and left the room. I laughed
"He said something like that a while back,"
"Gure…"
"Don't worry," I smiled, "I won't do anything to Yuki and Ushio,"
"I know but… What's your plan?"
"Aya…" I grinned
"Yes?"
"Just wait and see~!" I skipped of. I looked to my injured arm. Keep planning all you want Akii. You won't win though...

I've had a writers block for quite some time for this story. Usually I write something stupid and it goes…

It went away when I started to read Fruits Basket Another. Can I please mention… MY HEART CANT COPE EVERYONE'S SO CUTE
Oh and I'm finally reading Fruits Basket again!
And it's paid off! I love it and it's helping with the characters!
Well… Hopefully I have Shigure's character right. I'm sorry if this chapter seems a little off in areas. Half of it was written from when I had a block and the other half… last bit… was when I didn't soo. I put this **** from that last bit where I didn't have the writers block thing If you care anyway XD
Have I made Shigure too evil?
