A/N: Hey. Wasn't feeling too well, so sorry for the late post. And to the person who asked about my other story Love in the Present. I left a message a couple of chapters ago but I wanted to remind you all that I will not be finishing up the other story until I finish this one. Thank you!

All mistakes are my own.

Christian glanced over at a smirking Taylor before he got out of the car. Ana and her filthy-looking son apparently hadn't noticed he had arrived, but to Christian it was fine. Because it allowed him to study the scene before him. When Ana poured some type of soap on the boy's head and told him to close his eyes she began spraying him again. He was giggling while Ana continued to power off the debris from his body. When it looked as if Teddy could be seen Ana sighed. She turned off the water and that was when she noticed Christian and Taylor.

"I can explain this," she said, dropping the hose. Teddy only grinned and waved.

"Mr. Christian! Hi!"

Christian chuckled as he walked closer.

"Teddy, hello. Having fun?"
Teddy nodded. He glanced at Taylor and ran to the man.

"Mr. Taylor!" he shouted. Teddy ran full speed and Ana screamed.

"Teddy, no! Don't get Mr. Taylor wet!" She tried to warn the man, but instead of running away, Taylor knelt on the ground and took the wet, soapy hug. Ana ran a hand over her face before running a bit over to where the two men were standing.

"I'm so sorry Taylor. I can get that suit dry-cleaned for you or-"

"It's fine," Taylor said, hoisting the wet boy in his arms, causing him to giggle."

"I am used to playing with kids. Not just Mr. Grey's nephews, but my own family has children." Ana was relieved the muscular bodyguard wasn't upset.

"Still. I can get that suit cleaned."

"I bet you have to say that a lot," he stated. Ana gave a nod.

"You have no idea." Quickly she grabbed her wet son from his arms and smiled at Christian.

"Hi," she said blushing. He smiled back.

"Hey."

"You guys can come in. I have to clean Teddy up some more but dinner won't take long." Ana turned and the two men followed her. She walked up the stairs with her wiggly boy while Christian walked down the hall and into the living room. Taylor went to the corners of the room making sure the doors were locked and the windows weren't tampered with.

"You look impressed," Christian noted. Taylor nodded.

"That's because I am. Not only is everything locked, but it looks as if everything has been reinforced. Ana is a smart woman," Taylor stated. Christian nodded. He turned his attention to the coffee table which had several magazines. He smirked at one in particular where he was on the front cover. Ana came down twenty minutes later. She had changed into her sweat clothes and Teddy beside her. He ran into the living room to sit beside Christian on the couch. Christian noted that he was much cleaner and smelled like some type of peppermint. Ana called out from the kitchen.

"Dinner will be ready in thirty minutes."

"Take your time," Christian said, amused by how easily Teddy moved beside him and grabbed his wrist. He was messing with his watch. Having two nephews, this was nothing unusual to him. He was constantly picked and prodded for inspection. Christian heard Taylor commend her on having her windows and doors properly protected. Her laughing answer warmed his heart, especially when Taylor chuckled back. Christian's attention however was drawn back to Teddy staring at him.

"Why did your mother have to spray you outside today?" he asked. Teddy was already kneeling beside him on the couch so he plopped onto his butt with his legs still folded under him. Christian was always amazed at young children and their ability to fold their bodies in whatever position they could. Even if it looked painful.

"I was cleaning up poop at school."

Christian blinked at Teddy, not sure if he heard him correctly. After several moments of Teddy staring back at him Christian spoke.

"I'm sorry, but can you explain?"

Teddy began in detail his thought process and why he was doing it, and all the while Christian could help the snort that left his mouth. When Teddy finished Christian understood why the child smelled of kid soap and peppermint. She probably had to treat the kids' hair.

"I told mama on the way home that I wouldn't do it again. She said she believed me, but I'm still not allowed to watch television for bed. Not for another seven days."

"Hmm. Well, you could read. Isn't that fun?"

Teddy looked at Christian as if he ate a lemon. Christian shook his head.

"What about comic books?"

Teddy's eyes piqued with interest.

"What are those?"
Christian blinked before he spoke with a giant exaggeration.

"You don't know what that is? They have so many comic books! Filled with stories of superheroes fighting bad guys and saving the day. They have cool pictures and everything!"

Teddy was vibrating with excitement.

"Can I read a comic book?"

Christian nodded.

"I'll bring you some when I come back in town later this week."

Teddy beamed at Christian.

"Can we go get some?"

"Yes. I'll make sure we can."

The two were quiet for a moment before Teddy spoke.

"Mr. Christian. Why doesn't my daddy come around?"
When Teddy turned his soulful eyes on Christian, the man knew he would have to tread lightly. Christian himself wanted to throttle Jack for making his son feel this way, but there was nothing he could do at the moment.

"Your dad is working hard so that he can come and see you. Sometimes parents have to work extra hard. I'm sure he misses you, Teddy."

Teddy lowered his gaze and began playing with Christian's watch again.

"Grandma Carla said that people only hug and kiss you when they love you. Daddy only yells. He even yells at mama sometimes. But he doesn't think I see it," Teddy whispered. Christian's eyes widened. He kept his composure because he didn't want Teddy to think he was angry at him.

"I'm sorry about that Teddy. But I want you to know that I would never let anything happen to you or your mother. All you have to do is tell me, or your grandparents. Promise me that you'll do that okay?"
Teddy nodded.

"I promise. Riley and Caden said that you're gonna buy a zoo. Can you see gorillas anytime you want?" he asked in a complete subject change. Christian gave a soft laugh before he ran his hand through the boy's hair.

"Yes. Ask your mother and I will take you with Riley and Caden sometime."

"Yay!"

Ana suddenly appeared in the room with a kitchen towel in her hand.

"Alright. Dinner's almost ready. Teddy, come help me set the table."'

"Okay!"

Teddy slid off the couch. When he got to where the kitchen table as he turned and shouted at Christian.

"You have to help Mr. Christian or you cannot eat! Mama says that all the time," Teddy said as if it was a terrible thing to contemplate. Christian stood, and Ana silently mouthed an apology. Christian came to stand beside her and kissed her cheek.

"I have to follow the house rules Ana. Teddy said," he stated. Ana blushed before she turned and headed into the kitchen. Christian rubbed his hands together before helping Teddy.

After dinner, Teddy yawned and Ana stared at her son.

"Alright, Teddy. Go to your room, pick a book and read."

"But mama-"

"No," Ana said gently but firmly. "I will be up later to check on you. And if you're not reading, you won't be watching television until this summer."

Teddy's eyes widened comically.

"But mama!"

Ana shook her head.

"You heard me. Say goodnight to Mr. Christian and Mr. Taylor."

Teddy gave a long-suffering sigh. He slid from his chair and walked around until he was standing in front of Christian.

"I gots to go read now Mr. Christian. Goodnight."

Christian bit his lip so he wouldn't smile. Instead, he nodded.

"I understand. We have to do what our moms tell us."
"I know." He turned to glance up at Taylor who was smiling.

"Goodnight Mr. Taylor."

"Goodnight Teddy," The man said easily. Teddy then took off down the hall and to his room. When they both heard the door slam and Teddy yell out an apology Ana slumped back into her chair. Taylor stood.

"I will wait outside Mr. Grey," Taylor said. Ana smiled at him.

"It was nice to have you eat with us," Ana stated. Taylor gave a slight bow.

"Thanks for asking me to join."
He gave a nod to Christian before he left. When the front door closed behind him Ana and Christian stared at each other for a few moments before they both began to laugh.

"It's not funny Christian," Ana said even as she continued to giggle.

"Oh, I disagree. Ana, I thought my nephews were a chaotic bunch. They've got nothing on Teddy. I couldn't imagine if there were two of him," Christian mused. Ana's eyes widened in horror.

"There is no way I could survive it. I think the school would expel them if there were two. And hey! I now have to be a part of most of the PTS functions for the rest of the year. So you can kiss weekend dates away. At least in the afternoon," Ana added. Christian however smirked.

"That's fine. Most of the dates I want to plan are for the evening anyway," he said, causing Ana's cheeks to heat.

"Thank you for dinner," he said, sitting back and placing his napkin on the table. "I haven't had such a lovely home-cooked meal in a while. You're a fantastic cook," he said warmly. Ana smiled.

"Thank you. I actually enjoy it. But I rarely have time. What with Teddy in some type of mischief every day and my work, I have to sometimes do meal prep on Sundays." Ana was sitting at the head of the table, and Christian to her left, so it was easy for him to reach for her hand and bring it to his lips.

"You look so beautiful."

With her free hand, Ana pushed back her messy hair and shook her head.

"I highly doubt that. I'm slightly sweaty in gym clothes. I must look crazy."
Christian scooted closer.

"On the contrary. You are absolutely beautiful, Anastasia Steele." The two just stared into each other's eyes before Christian spoke.

"I don't want to overstep anything. But Ana, I want you to know that I'm here for you. If you need me for anything please do not hesitate to ask."

Ana knew Christian was serious and she gave a slow nod. Instantly she knew what he was referring to, but she also knew that she had to do this herself.

"Thank you, Christian. I am trying to handle this on my own, but it gives me comfort to know that you are willing to help," she stated.

"Comfort doesn't keep bad people from doing bad things," he said. Ana gave him a rueful smile.

"You are nothing, if not determined. But I meant what I said. I've got a handle on this. And if it gets too much I will ask for your help."

"Okay."

Before Ana could say anything else however Christian leaned up and kissed her softly. Ana sighed before sliding her arms around his neck. She moaned lightly when he deepened the kiss and pulled her to him. Ana gasped, breaking the kiss for a moment before she sat in his lap and continued it. Running her hands through his wild hair she whimpered when he cupped her breasts through her clothes before sliding his hands around her hips. Trailing kisses down her neck, he spoke.

"I want you, Ana. Any way I can. Tell me when I can," he said with a tinge of desperation in his voice. Ana bit her lip at how sexy the man's voice was when he begged for something.

"You'll be back in a couple of days. We'll talk over dinner. Is that fair?" she said a bit breathless when he pulled her t-shirt a bit lower and kissed the tops of her breasts. She gripped onto his strong arms grinding in his lap.

"That is fine," he growled. Ana was ready to throw caution to the wind and let him have her now when his phone began to ring. Christian rested his head on her chest before he groaned aloud.

"Please don't let that be my phone," he murmured. When his phone began to ring again Ana giggled.

"I'm sorry Christian, but it is your phone. And don't you have a flight to catch?"
Christian raised his head and gave her a slight nod.

"Yes. But ugh," he said in such an immature way. Ana laughed at that before she stood.

"You should head out. You don't want to miss your flight."

Christian stood.

"It's my jet, and they can wait for me," he murmured. Christian studied her face before he leaned over and kissed her again.

"I cannot wait to see you again."
Ana's heart raced.

"I cannot wait to see you again either," she whispered into his lips. Christian smiled.

"Later."

He kissed her once more before walking out of the house and closing the door. Ana walked over to it, looked out the peephole, and the moment he drove away she sighed. Locking the door she headed back into the kitchen to clean up. She made a vow that she would call him later.
