Previously on a Heya Love Story...
Heather looks like she's ready to kill. She squinted her eyes and looks at the man still trying to place his voice. Heather is listening as the man talks to Officer Mac and listens to that horribly familiar voice and the more she hears it, she starts zoning out and starts getting a flashback in her mind while the guy is answering the police's questions rather hesitantly.
"For fucks sake dude it was a dare! Now, what the fuck are we supposed to do! If we bring her somewhere we will get caught or turned in!" one guy said panicked.
"He's right. This kid is famous, anyone could recognize her...I mean we could sell some photos and get enough money to escape to a beach somewhere or something" another girl said in a joking tone that made Heather step closer as a wave of fury washed over her. She's never wanted to kill a group of people more than she did at this very moment.
"Asshole we are already in deep shit! Why did we listen to you idiots? You guys are on your own. We're done!" a different young tattooed girl says which makes Heather's eyes widen as she perks around the tree trunk and catches a glimpse of one of the guys but doesn't see her daughter.
"Oh no you don't!" the one guy says and pulls the girl back over. "The six of us are in this together. Don't you DARE ditch us now!" he shouts and a high-pitched raspy scream cries out from the trees. She was completely shaken and scared to death by the man's loud outburst. The second she heard that familiar voice Heather snapped her head up.
March 12th, 2019
Heather was brought out of her daze and glared at the man in front of her and stood right in front of him with a look that could only be classified as pure evil. Did she mention she would kill for Naya and Sophia? She knows those police officers have a gun on their hip and she is about five seconds away from utilizing it on this sorry son of a bitch.
Andrew and Antonio are both looking at Heather along with the officers wondering what the hell Heather just remembered when suddenly her daughter screams and somehow broke loose of Yolanda's grasp and the five women frantically chase after Sophia who is darting to her momma as if her life depends on it. Heather's deathly gaze on the man is broken when she turns quickly to see her baby girl scrambling hysterically towards her. Naya seemingly forgot she had severe injuries and was moving faster than everyone knows she should have been.
"Sophia!" Naya screams and Heather bends down and clutches her daughter concealing her face. Heather's hand is cupping Sophia's head and she has her other arm around her back. She doesn't need to support her bottom since Sophia is gripping her so tightly.
"Momma!" Sophia screeched and Heather holds her as close as humanly possible. Naya frantic but relieved when she sees that it was her wife was the one who caught Sophia. Heather notices as soon as Naya gets in the living room that her wife is clearly in pain from over-exerting herself.
"Ahh, there's the girl who owes me a pickup!" The voice replied and Naya froze in place as she heard the same sentence recited on the phone, from the same voice... This guy was standing In their home! This home that's supposed to be their private oasis.
Heather gives this man the most vicious look before taking the hand off of her daughter's head and holding her arm out for Naya. Naya wipes her eyes and walks over to Heather's side and snuggles into her wife while wrapping an arm around Sophia's little body that's clinging to Heather. Sophia refused to go with any of the other women and Naya isn't even sure she would have allowed her to be held by anyone besides her wife. Despite how uncomfortably close this guy is to her daughter, Sophia needs to be in her momma's embrace. Despite the close proximity, Naya knows this guy isn't touching her or her daughter with Heather right there. Heather turns her head and kisses Naya on the head making Naya snap out of her thoughts and look at her. "I'll protect you both, I won't let you down," Heather whispered into Naya's ear making her look up with a tear in her eye and lean into her wife. Naya knows the guilt Heather feels about the two times she feels like she let them both down, Sophia's kidnapping, and her accident. Of course, neither of which was Heather's fault but try convincing her of that...
Heather looks back over at this guy in front of her and nodded for Mac to come over. Heather glances at the man who attempts to move closer to get in on the whispering but Heather takes a step back with her family. Both of her girl's faces are buried in her neck and chest.
"Come any closer and I promise you will regret it," Heather growls as she tightens her grasp around the two most important people in her world as Mac approaches her. Heather gestured for him to come closer and whispers something in his ear while never taking her eyes off the man in front of her. As long as he is breathing the same air as her wife and child, her eyes are peeled on this bastard.
"This is the piece of scumthat kidnapped my daughter when she was a baby. He's supposed to be in jail at this moment and when I figure out why the hell he's not locked up in a cell right now since his sentence is more than a decade from being over with no chance of parole there will be several people that have to answer to me. Now handcuff this son of a bitch before I do something I'll regret." Heather said lowly but scarily forceful so that only Mac could hear. she didn't want this guy to overhear and make an attempt to flee. Mac glanced at Heather and was just about to ask if she was confident that this was the guy, but one glimpse at the blonde's facial expression was all he needed to know. He radios the station for backup immediately and walks over to the guy in question.
"Sir, did you escape from jail?" Officer Mac asked and Naya's head popped up from where it was buried in Heather's shoulder. Escape from jail? What?!
"Oh come on! I don't even belong in there anyway!" the man says before he turns from Mac to the little girl in Heather's arms. "Hey, Soph! Long time no see..." The raspy voice man says while reaching forward to squeeze Sophia's left foot but was punched in the face with all of Heather's force before he could touch her daughter or her wife she stepped back with both of her girls in her arms and directed them towards the couch. Heather waits until they are both on the couch and Sophia clings to Naya's side. Heather places a kiss on both of their foreheads as Naya and Sophia both panic and tug at Heather's shirt frantic at the thought of her leaving their side.
Heather gestures for the four other women to move back to the couch and stay together. Heather also motions for Mychal to guard them since there are enough police surrounding this scumbag.
"Momma!" Sophia cries from where her face is hidden in her mami's side as Heather squares up with this guy and looks him dead in the eyes. He attempts to punch her back but Heather catches his hand before it connects with her face and grips it with her muscular arm before holding it behind the man's back until another officer grabs hold and helps Mac cuff him.
"You son of a bitch." Heather growls lowly and all the women look terrified and confused. Naya is sitting beside her daughter who's buried between her and Ashley as if she's trying to block out the sound of this guy's voice. Naya looks back up and tries to figure out who the hell this guy is but is only forced to wait another five seconds before it all becomes blatantly clear.
"YOU. I knew the second I heard you on the phone that there was something about your voice that sounded familiar. The first time you called, my daughter looked terrified. Sophia may have been a baby but there's no way anyone could forget the pure evil in your voice." Heather snarled and shot daggers at this man. Antonio and Andrew look at Heather from where they were standing off to the side and were completely confused. "You are the scum, lower-than-life excuse for a human being that stole my daughter when she was a baby. A BABY!" Heather says with all the hatred left in her body. Naya snaps her head up and shouts from across the room.
"YOU WHAT?!" Naya lets out and looks like she wants to pass out, scream, punch him, and most accurately, she wants to kill him.
Heather turns her head and gazes at her wife who's staring at the guy with wide eyes that are trying to process all her emotions at once. Naya scoots to the end of the couch and motions for the girls to hang on to Sophia. She slowly gets up with the help of Mychal.
"Sis what are you doing?" Mychal inquires and that gets Heather's attention who's looking at her wife confused and protectively. Heather doesn't want her anywhere near this guy. The closer Naya comes to this guy, the closer Heather moves to her.
Naya looks at her brother and back at the guy that's about seven feet away from her as she walks slowly over to the man who destroyed their world and almost killed her and took her away from her family. "I'm doing what I never got the chance to do three years ago..." Naya says before running the rest of the way and giving that man the hardest slap across the face that she can muster. She winces and groans afterward but she's on way too much of an adrenaline kick to give a shit. She's looking into the face of the man that stole their child, gave their daughter nightmares for months which are bound to come back now, who's left ominous texts for days and had them worried sick, oh and not to mention slammed into her which nearly killed her.
Naya and Heather didn't know that Ashley, Nickayla, and Mychal brought Sophia to the bedroom the minute Naya got up because they knew none of this should be heard. Naya never got the chance to confront or speak to this man and they didn't need Sophia to be present for that. Susan and Yolanda are glad they made that call because this night was turning out to be horrible after the amazing day they had.
Heather and Naya turn their heads to the couch and look frantic before Susan comes up behind them and whispers in their ears not allowing them to fear where their daughter is, especially with this man nearby.
"She's in the bedroom with your siblings. She's safe. She doesn't need to be around him anymore." Susan whispered sternly and the girls nod reluctantly looking back at the bedroom but knowing it's for the best. Their siblings were with her, including Mychal which eased their minds. Heather opens her arms and Naya collapses into them sobbing as her emotions finally come crashing down.
The guy glares at Naya just as she lifts her head to meet his eyes just as he lunges at her making her cry out from her place beside Heather. Heather reacts quickly and kicks him hard in the balls making him slump in agony on the floor. his hands were already cuffed behind his back so he wasn't able to grab Naya but there is no way in hell that Heather would have let him get that far anyway. Heather clutches a sobbing Naya and holds her against her chest.
"Don't you DARE come or even attempt to come near one of my girls again! How in the hell did you get out of prison?!" Heather shouts looking straight at the kidnapper while he was still slumped over on the ground. Heather cupped her wife's head and ran a hand up and down her back soothingly as Naya held her so tightly. The guy winced but finally stood and looked over at Heather
"Snuck out while we were in the outdoor rec area. Over time I managed to bend a piece of the fence against the building until I was finally able to slip through. Man, they do all that work to put you in a cell yet they can't get a decent fence." The guy laughed and Heather was close to grabbing the officer's gun and ending his sorry excuse for a human right there but instead, she spoke some last words to the man before the police called him in and hauled them out.
"YOU will pay for this. What you have done to my wife and child is something that you will spend the rest of your life in solitary if I have any say in the matter." Heather starts and catches his eyes glancing at Naya. Heather grips her tighter points her eyes back at the guy. "Don't you DARE look at her! Don't speak her fucking name and don't you dare speak my daughter's name!" Heather growls while holding her wife impossibly close as she continues to cry. Antonio and Andrew are wanting to say so damn much but Heather is saying everything for them and she's the one who deserves to say what's on her mind, not them, as much as they are dying to do so.
Antonio watches his daughter being held by somebody who would do anything for Naya and it's one of those moments he will never be able to put into words how grateful he is for Naya finding someone like Heather.
"Mac. Take this piece of scum out of my house before I kill him myself. I will see your ass in court. Mac, I swear to God if they don't keep him in a cell..." Heather growls before Mac speaks.
"He won't be leaving the four metal walls, especially after escaping prison, he will be in solitary and his conviction will most likely be altered if and when you take him to court," Mac assures, and Hearher nods.
"Oh without a doubt, this man doesn't deserve to be anywhere else. Now get him out of our home and I except a call as to why we weren't notified my daughter's kidnapper had escaped fucking prison!." Heather snaps before turning to Antonio and Andrew. "Can you both make sure that useless gate in the driveway is down as they leave?" Heather sighs before kissing her sobbing wife. "It's okay, love. I'm here." Heather says as the two older men slip on their shoes and head for the door. "Thanks, dads," Heather says and they nod with a small smile before shutting the door behind them.
Heather takes a deep breath and kisses her wife on the head as she holds her close now that it's just them and their mothers in the room. Yolanda and Susan hug each other in relief that he's gone and in the back of a police car but they can't believe any of this just happened. They take a deep breath and hug each other before wiping the tears in their eyes and looking at their girls who are each other's everything, and this experience proved it.
"Oh my God! This entire time our baby girl's kidnapper was the one tormenting us. He's the one that hit me?! How did he even know that was me?! I'm so fucking scared and confused right now!" Naya cries out and Heather clutched her wife and swayed them gently from side to side hoping the slight rocking motion would provide a sense of comfort. Heather didn't know any of these answers but she sure as hell would find out. The emotion of finally recognizing that voice and putting the pieces together was still a blur. She's not really sure what even happened the past half hour to be quite honest with you.
Yolanda and Susan went back to grab the girls and Mychal from the bedroom to let them know every was gone. Heather and Naya whipped their heads around when they heard the muffled cries coming from the hall before they saw the long black hair of their tiny daughter catch the wind as she ran to her mothers sobbing.
"Momma! Mami! He's trying to take me!" Sophia screamed as she leaped into Heather's arms. Heather clutched her right away and kissed her repeatedly as Naya had her hands over her mouth and looked completely heartbroken before her arms came out to join their hug but she winced in pain. After running, slapping, and exerting way more force then she was supposed to, she was definitely hurting.
Ashley, Nickayla, and Mychal soon came out and sat around the couch and the coffee table. Naya and Sophia were so upset and Heather was holding onto both of their girls constantly whispering and reminding them that they are safe with her.
"You okay Nay?" Ashley said and Naya winced.
"Fine, my daughter is much more important right now." Naya breathes out and Sophia looks at her mami with teary eyes and sniffles.
"Mami are your owies hurting? Abuelo, Ashley!" Sophia cries out worridely and they come over quickly although Ashley was already very close to the couple.
"You girls okay? Nieta?" Antonio asks with a slight concerned tone since everyone is still in a fog at the unreal turn of events that just transpired and they were all still running on adrenaline.
"Antonio, Ash, please check my wife's stitches. She got up too quickly, ran towards him and laid a pretty good slap on the guy so I want to make sure none of her stitches popped." Heather mumbles and Naya looks at her not wanting to be away from her wife for even a split second.
"Baby no. I can't leave you both." Naya pleads teary-eyed and Sophia holds her arm out and wraps it around her mami's neck.
"You think I would let either of you out of my sight?" Heather says with security and Antonio looks at his daughter-in-law with such pride. To be able to say that's his daughter-in-law was an honor.
Naya hugs her close as Heather turns to the two medical professionals in the family. "Can you both take a look at Naya on the couch so I can be with her?" Heather asks and the two nod quickly. Heather gestures for Naya to walk slowly to the sectional and she manages to support her wife's weight as she lays back slowly while wincing. Heather did all of this while never letting go of Sophia.
"Momma, Mami?" Sophia whimpered and both of her moms looked over at her while Antonio and Ashley were taking a peek at her major incisions and assuring that nothing was damaged.
"Yes, my little love?" Heather said softly as she held her daughter across her lap while sitting next to her wife's head as she strokes her dark hair to help her relax.
"I don't want to be here. It's scary." Sophia said and hid her face in Heather's chest. The adults in the room look at each other with frowns. "The bad guys know where we live. Can we go?" Sophia asked in a pleading tone as Naya and Heather have a silent conversation before they both nod and Heather picks up her phone. She presses a few buttons before holding the phone out and putting it on speakerphone.
"Hey Hemo, you alright? How's Naya feeling?" Lea says through the phone. It was a little after 9:15 pm and they typically never called each other so late in the evening since most of the time they had earlier call times.
"Can we come to stay with you tonight?" Heather asked without directly answering the brunettes question.
"Of course you can! Are you guys okay?" Lea asks urgently and Heather sighs.
"No not really. The caller showed up at the house and he was was attested. It's a long story but Sophia doesn't feel safe here and truthfully I'm not all that keen on my girls being here either." Heather spoke and heard Lea gasp but she swears she heard more then just Lea on the other line.
"What?! Oh my God?! Did he hurt any of you? Who was it?!" Lea asks and Heather knows this isn't a conversation to be had over the phone. She'd prefer to talk once Sophia is sleeping for the night.
"He didn't but she tried a couple times. Naya slapped him good but over exerted herself way too much so I'm having Antonio and Ash check her now to make sure she didn't pop any stitches. I punched him and probably broke his nose because he was bleeding pretty badly. Look, Sophia said she's scared and doesn't want to stay here and I don't want my girls staying here either. We hate to even bother you so last minu..." Heather says and Lea stops her hastily.
"Heather, you girls get over here now! I mean it. None of that nonsense." Lea said sternly and Heather managed a small smile at Lea bossing her around. Typical.
"Honey, we are going to look for a hotel for the seven of us close by, alright?" Susan says as she and Yolanda are about to grab the iPad and find something for them that's not astronomically priced this last minute.
"Was that Susan?!" Lea says loudly over the phone making the two older women turn around.
"Yeah..." Heather says. Sophia rubs her eyes and cuddles into her momma's chest. Heather is still massaging Naya's head with her other hand as Antonio helps Ashley change her wound dressings. None of Naya's stitches have popped, thankfully.
"Put her on the phone this minute!" Lea says sternly and Heather hands the phone to her mother.
"Your in trouble..." Heather stage whispers and knows Lea heard because she hears Lea mumble out her name as the phone is being passed.
"Hi sweetheart." Susan says kindly. She would normally greet everyone with much more enthusiasm but everyone is just maxed out, however it's still Susan after all so she does manage to smile and greet the girl with her pep, it's just a more modified version.
"Susan you are all staying here. No questions. We are already setting up the beds. Security at the neighborhood entrance has been notified so they know to expect you and will let you right in. Just have your ID's out. We will open the driveway gate right away." Lea explained and Susan comes over and sits on the coffee table as Antonio and Ashley are sitting Naya up and leaning her against the back of the couch once they've finished.
"Honey, are you sure? Thats a lot of unexpected company..." Susan asked feeling horrible for crashing someone's house this late at night and expecting her to play host. Susan must have forgotten that this is Lea though and she lives for hosting.
"Mrs. Morris, what did I just say? Every single one of you better get over here soon, pack your bags and come over. Don't plan on leaving for a few days." Lea asserted. Heather and Naya smile at their brunette spitfire of a friend. Susan and the other adults shake their heads with a smile.
Heather remembered Lea saying something...
"Lea do you have company over already? You said we are setting up the beds..." Heather asked knowing none of them would want to interrupt time with Lea and her family since they all live in NY.
"No just three randoms that showed up here..." Lea sighed before being interrupted
"Hey!" Vanessa said
"Rude!" Chord and Cory spoke out together.
Heather and Naya managed a smile for the first time at the familiar voices. This time the familiar voices made them smile.
"Nessy, LeLe?" Sophia said quietly as the phone was given back to Heather. Heather brought it closer to Sophia since she was speaking so softly. Naya frowned at Heather and shook her head at the thought of Sophia being scared in her own home.
"Hi honey." Lea cooed.
"Hi sweetheart." Vanessa replied tenderly.
"LeLe, can we come over now please? The bad guy was here and now I'm scared. I'll be super good I promise..." Sophia pleaded sadly and Naya half rolled her eyes trying to stop her damn tears at her daughter's innocent pleas. Heather hugged both of her girls impossibly close while Yolanda and Susan looked on with their arms crossed just trying to make sense of everything that's happened.
"Sweetheart, you pack your pink sparkly suitcase and all the toys you want because aunt LeLe and Nessy aren't letting you go for a while. Tell momma and mami to get their tushies over here, we are all waiting for you." Lea says making Sophia crack a smile. Naya and Heather are so grateful for their friends.
"Soph! They still haven't found our hidden treats!" Vanessa said in a happy tone hoping to cheer her niece up and Sophia rubbed her eyes and lit up for the first time since their evening was ruined. Her eyes went wide and she scooted off Heather's lap while still holding onto her knee just needing to keep that physical connection to feel safe.
"Momma! Mami! I need to pack! Hurry!" Sophia said with urgency and Lea and Vanessa giggled over the phone. Naya and Heather even managed a sincere smile. They're friends meant everything to them.
"Get them over here Soph! We're all waiting for you, cutie pie!" Lea said and they all said their goodbyes before Heather ended the call.
"Mija, those friends of yours..." Antonio said shaking his head.
"Are incredible. Hang on to them. They're worth keeping around." Yolanda says making Heather, and Naya nod. They couldn't agree more.
"Alright my beautiful girls, let's get packing. Everyone pack their bags and put them in front by the door so we make sure to bring everything." Heather said as Sophia bounced on the floor waiting. She wanted to bolt straight to her bedroom but was still very cautious about leaving her mothers side. Nickayla, Ashley, and Mychal went to pacl their bags. Susan picked up her coffee cup from the coffee table and Yolanda gathered a couple more cups of hot cocoa to take to the sink before they left. Unlike the men and their other children, they didn't throw their things around so all the two older woman has to do was close their suitcases and bring them out to the living room.
Naya winced as she started scooting forward on the couch to try and stand. She knew she was going to hurt like hell in the morning after running and slapping the guy but she doesn't regret it for a second. If he didn't nearly kill her she would have done much more damage for ever hurting her baby girl.
Heather saw Naya was in pain so she wasted no time and bent over and scooping her wife up gently, bridal style and telling the two older women that they were going to go pack. Heather glanced down at Sophia and smiled making sure she was right by her side and was alright, Sophia looked up at her and smiled and she hung on to Heather's longer sweatshirt. Naya looked around needing to see where her daughter was was well and Hearher kissed her wife before speaking up.
"Shes hanging on to be baby. She's okay. I've got my eyes on both of my girls. Relax honey." Heather said before kissing her wife again. Naya smiled and leaned her head on Heather's chest and exhaled at the feeling of being completely safe even though everything around her was and the entire night told her otherwise. No matter what happens, whenever she's in the arms of her wife, she is safe.
"Ready to pack my little love?" Heather asks looking down at the little girl who smiles and nods, she never lets go of her momma's sweatshirt. "Alright, beautiful, let's go get your suitcase and momma will help you, sweet girl." Heather finishes.
Naya looked up at her wife and kissed her neck. There was nothing that could describe the emotion of seeing her wife love and protect their daughter. Nothing in the world would compare to that feeling.
Sophia was already gathering will of her stuffed animals and setting them in a line and looked sad again. Heather sank to the ground with her wife still in her arms. Naya isn't sure how Heather can maneuver like this while holding her. It must be the dancer in her because she acts like Naya weighs nothing at all.
"You okay Mija?" Naya asked looking at their baby girl who turns her head and smiles a little.
"Hi momma, hi mami. Momma I like when you carry me and mami like that. It's how we feel extra super safe! Right mami?" Sophia asked and the two mom's can't help but let out a silent giggle and smile. Sophia has always loved seeing the affection the two gave each other. It always made her feel so safe.
"The safest place in the world, you are absolutely right, Mija" Naya smiled and leaned against Heather who kissed the top of her head. Sophia nodded with a smile.
Heather set Naya down ever-so-carefully so she was sitting on the carpet and leaning against Sophia's bed for support. Heather wanted to help Sophia pack so it would move quicker. Heather and Chris we're always the worst at making decisions so Heather knew this would be an excruciatingly long process until she was helped, especially with clothes...
"Are you alright, my love?" Heather asked making sure her wife was okay before getting up from her kneeling position to grab the suitcase. Naya nodded with a smile.
"Not as cozy as you are, but I'm alright." Naya says with a smile. "I love you baby." Naya mumbles and Heather leans over and places a kiss on her wife's lips.
"I love you more my beautiful wife." Heather whispers softly making Naya blush. Heather smiles before turning to Sophia. "Alright my little love, what's with the line of stuffed animals?" Heather asked and Sophia frowned and looked at the five fluffy animals she owned as she sat on her knees on the carpeted floor.
"I can't decide which ones I want to bring. It will be dark and scary here! What if one of them feels left out and thinks that I didn't love them anymore." Sophia says close to tears. She was such an empathetic girl, even to her stuffed animal friends. Heather and Naya had another silent conversation before smiling at one another.
"Baby, bring all your friends, it's okay with momma and I." Naya smiled and Sophia bounced up and down before hugging Heathers leg and then jumping over to Naya but stopping before carefully hugging and kissing her mami. Naya swooned at how gentle she was with her even when she was excited she never forgot how injured her mami was.
"Thank you mami! Thank you momma!" Sophia says before turning to her animal friends, "Did you hear that you guys! We all get to have a sleepover at LeLe's! Do you think Ambam, Kurtsy and the rest of my uncles and aunties are there too?" Sophia asked and Naya and Heather shook their heads.
"Probably not baby girl. It's just the four of them. It's late and they all are probably in bed for the night or had plans since it's Friday. We will probably see some of them tomorrow though." Heather said and Sophia somberly nodded.
"Okay momma, I just miss miss them." Sophia says making Naya and Heather frown at each other. Sophia loved her extended family so much. These friends of theirs were her family in every sense of the word.
"Alright, little love. Let's get packing and get over to aunt Lea's.
Fifteen minutes later and double-checking everything before they got their sweatshirts on and the boys began loading the suitcases in the two SUV's. Susan held Sophia and waited for Heather and Naya before bringing her to the car. She knew the girls had to keep an eye on her and she completely sympathized. Sophia was clutching her bunny and quilt while she was in her grandmothers embrace. Heather went out to the SUV carrying their favorite chunky knit grey blanket while Susan, Naya, and Sophia waited inside the house looking out unto the garage. Luckily Susan and Yolanda put all of their clothes and blankets in the wash this afternoon when they came home from the hospital so it was nice and clean. Heather went out to the car and laid it out on the passenger seat to provide her wife with more cushion since car rides were so uncomfortable at the moment.
Once Heather came back inside she saw Naya walking slow and struggling. Heather knew she was going to be in a lot of pain tomorrow. Heather couldn't stand the sight of her wife in discomfort, and she's seen it enough for an entire lifetime. Heather carefully hoists her up bridal style and kisses her forehead.
"Baby, you don't have to carry me!" Naya says softly with a smile as she turns her face in and kisses her wife's collarbone. God she loved Heather. Susan smiles at the couple.
"Maybe I don't, but you're the love of my life and you've been through hell...so I'm carrying you." Heather smiled and kissed her once again. Naya was so kissable.
"Baby, you've been through hell too!" Naya countered and Heather just looked at her wife.
"Were not talking about me. My focus is on my girls." Heather responds and Naya is about to talk back when Heather brings their lips together passionately before separating several moments later. "So...you were saying?" Heather smirked and Naya rolled her eyes bringing her face into her wife's chest. Heather giggled and made her way through the garage to the front seat. Susan brings Sophia out to the car at there same time so she's right by the protective mothers. Susan agreed to sit in the backseat with Heather and Sophia so Naya could recline in the front to make the car ride somewhat easier.
Yolanda grabs the car door for Heather who smiles appreciatively and with great care sets Naya in the seat and clicks on her seatbelt. Naya looks down at the comfy blanket she's sitting on and smiles
"Baby..." Naya blushed. She felt like a damn teenager with how often she still blushed and got so shy around this woman but she couldn't help it when Heather was so damn sweet and perfect to her.
"My love..." Heather replied with a smile and kissed her wife's lips before pulling up the lever to recline the seat back.
"Alright, beautiful, tell me when to stop." Heather said and Naya laid back in the chair and once she was lying about halfway down she spoke up.
"That should be good. Thank you baby." Naya smiled and sighed out getting comfortable. Heather left a kiss on her wife's lips before closing the door and going right behind Naya in the backseat.
"Here mami." Sophia said from the backseat. Naya turned her head to see Sophia holding out her blanket and bunny.
"What are you doing baby girl?" Naya asked confused. Heather looked over at her daughter who was in the center between Heather and Susan.
"Hold bunny and use blankie for cuddles since your sitting on your favorite blankie." Sophia smiled sweetly and Heather looked at her daughter so lovingly before catching her mother's glance. Susan mouths, she's amazing. Heather nods with a grin in response. Every single moment with Sophia is a proud mom moment for her.
"Baby girl, are you sure?" Naya asked with eyes that said without words how completely in love with this child she was.
"I love you mami." Sophia smiled and handed them over and Naya kissed both the bunny and Blankie before blowing her daughter a kiss. Sophia reached into the air and caught it with a giggle. "Got it!" Sophia said making everyone chuckle.
The boys, Nickayla, and Ashley took Susan's crossover and we're driving right in front of the girls. Yolanda was doing everything she could to avoid any visible bumps or harsh movements, as well as making sure not to press the gas or break pedal too abruptly and making the vehicle jerk.
Just after they got down their block, Heather leaned forward in her seat and took both of her hands, and started massaging her wife's head with her fingers which instantly made Naya moan.
"Why are my girls so sweet to me?" Naya says and Yolanda looks over and sees how in love they are after all these years. Heather is the best wife and takes such incredible care of her daughter and granddaughter. She couldn't ask for anything more.
"Because we love you." Heather and Sophia say together before looking at each other and giggling. Heather takes a hand off Naya's head to high-five her daughter before bringing it back to massage her wife. Naya shakes her head and smiles because despite having the most terrifying evening, she had the greatest friends, and the best family.
They all couldn't wait to get to Lea's and finally relax in a safe place.
