April 15th, 2019

The last fifteen days were pretty good for the little family of three. Naya had a follow-up exam so the doctors could take a look at her stitches and make sure they were healing properly. Heather and Sophia, of course, came with Naya and they were both thrilled when they learned Naya was healing amazingly well and she could have the larger sutures taken out and could go back to having normal baths and showers. Naya missed her baths so much, it was truly her place to unwind after a long or stressful day. Naya always wished they had a bigger jacuzzi tub since they utilize it so much. Heather couldn't have her legs straight because the bath wasn't big enough but she will take what they can get.

Sophia was becoming the best helper around the house, especially this last month when Naya was unable to do a lot of things she normally could. She learned how to dust properly, how to put all her dirty clothes in the hamper and bring them to the laundry room for her momma to wash. Every night she helps Heather set the table. The look of pure love on Naya's face every time she comes down the stairs and sees the two blue-eyed girls meticulously placing everything so perfectly is like heaven for her. Naya's smile will always be the most beautiful things in the world to Heather.

Sophia also learned to help unload the car and bring the groceries into the house so Naya doesn't have to lift too much. Naya insists she's perfectly fine to lift grocery bags but Heather and Sophia always give her a look so she just lets them do it for her. She thinks its adorable so she doesn't argue.

One of Sophia's favorite things to tinker around in is the garden. Sophia finds it so fascinating when she plants a seed and something grows from it when she waters and nurtures it. Some days she will just sit by herself and pick weeds and put them in a pail because she loves seeing how pretty it looks when she takes extra good care of it. Heather was teaching her to tell the difference between a weed and what was a pretty flower or plant coming up so she know the difference. If she wasn't sure she will ask before she picked it. Heather and Naya love to sit with Sophia in the garden and they love that their little girl would rather do this than watch tv. Naya wished they had more yard space for flowers or anything for that matter, because their house was pretty small. They don't really have the space for a playset, even. Sophia always tells her mommies how much she wants to plant and grow pretty flowers and have a rainbow garden so the unicorns will come to visit. Oh her imagination...

Ryan had scheduled a dinner at his beach house in Malibu and the entire cast will be there. Nobody has any clue what it's about or even if it's a casual or serious conversation, but they are interested nevertheless. Ryan would have the cast over occasionally for holidays or other random get-together's so it wasn't completely uncommon for them to get a call like this, but it was very rare they have required meetups where it's not an option to come or not. If the creator of your show says you must attend, then you attend. Everyone was just slightly more anxious at the topic of discussion. The girls had asked if this was something they could bring Sophia to, or if they should start looking for someone to watch her but Ryan was insistent that it was no problem if she came. That was a big relief for Naya and Heather because aside from their families the only people they trusted with her were going to be at this dinner, well aside from Becca. They trusted her about as much as they trust a cobra.

Speaking of Becca, her strange glances continued but seemed to stop around Sophia which Heather was happy about because she was ready to fight the bitch. Unfortunately, Becca was still leering at Naya whom she evidently still had a major crush on. Heather despised it and even called Becca out on her actions when she caught her a couple of times on set. Heather always made a point to confront her privately and not make a scene out of it, especially at work however, Heather was being pushed to the brink with this girl and she wouldn't allow her to play these games much longer before she lost it.

They were supposed to be at Ryan's by 5:00 pm for the dinner meeting but anyone who wanted to come before that and hang out on the beach for the afternoon was more than welcome, and of course, Sophia pleaded to go to the beach.

Heather and Naya were going to enjoy a nice cup of coffee together on the couch before they start packing their beach tote and make the drive over to Ryan's shortly thereafter.

Heather settled on the chaise and looks over at her wife who's coming in with her coffee. "Come here, sweetheart," Heather said sweetly and folded over the blanket that was over her so Naya could sneak underneath and cuddle. No matter how warm it was they always needed a blanket for snuggling. Naya smiled and set her cup on the coffee table before sitting on the chaise part of the sectional couch and joining her wife under the oversized knit blanket. Heather bent over to grab the cup of coffee for Naya and handed it back to the brown-eyed beauty before kissing her lips. Naya smiled and laid her head on Heather's shoulder. Naya was just about to say something unimportant when both of their phones chimed. Heather's phone was sitting on the armrest beside her and she bent forward to look at Naya's which was also from the group friends' chat.

"It's the group chat baby," Heather told before grabbing her phone and leaning back against the couch and patting her shoulder letting Naya lay back down.

Heather glances over at her wife and just has a moment where she can't believe the last nine years have happened. This woman is actually her wife, they have a gorgeous daughter. Once in a while, Heather will have these glimmer moments where she has to take a second to remind herself how grateful she is.

Naya looks up curiously since it's been about thirty seconds and Heather still hadn't opened the text message from the group chat and she noticed a couple more messages had come through.

"Baby..." Naya mumbles and Heather finally snaps out of her daydream and looks down at her. Naya gives her wife an amused look. "What on earth were you thinking about?" Naya giggles and Heather sets the phone down in her lap over the knit blanket and cups Naya's face with her hand and rubs back and forth with her thumb.

"You," Heather whispers. Naya shyly smiles and puckers her lips and Heather leans down to place a soft but passionate kiss on those luscious lips. Sophia notices and peeks around the doorway at her mommies but they don't notice her. "Sorry, sometimes I just get so caught up in the fact that I actually have you and Soph in my life. I can't believe the last nine years have happened the way they did but I wouldn't change any part of it. Of course, I would change your accident and Sophia being taken from us when she was little, but everything with you and I has been the greatest adventure of my life. Naya, my life changed when you gave birth to our daughter. I never thought I was capable of loving you anymore than I did on the day of our wedding, but the second we found out you were pregnant, my love for you grew a thousand times. When you gave birth and I saw the woman I love more than anything in the world everytime I look at our baby girl that I just wanted to wrap you both up and never let you go. You have absolutely no idea the depths of my love for you and Sophia." Heather said and Naya looked into her light blue eyes and stared into them before clearing her throat quietly and pulling her in for a passionate kiss.

As the two disconnected, Naya had tears in her eyes and shook her head subtly trying to will the rest of them away. Heather ran her fingers gently through Naya's hair and looked into her eyes. She was about to say something when she heard a sniffle off in the corner of the room near Sophia's playroom where she was playing for the past half hour. Heather was worried when she saw Sophia holding her quilt in her arm and rubbing her wet eyes with her fist.

"Little love, what's the matter, sweetheart?" Heather coos while holding out her arm and motioning for her to come over to her and Naya. Naya's back was to her so she didn't see her daughter until Heather spoke and she instantly turned around.

"Baby girl, did you get hurt? Come here, honey." Naya said wiping her leftover tears and holding her arm out as well. Sophia wiped her eye and grabbed hold of her quilt and walked around the coffee table to Heather so she could help her climb up on the couch. Heather patted her lap and Sophia leaned on her chest basking in the feeling of safety and calm from her momma's arms. Heather wrapped her arm around Naya as well so they could all snuggle up together. "What happened, Mija? Why are you so sad?" Naya asked running her hand up and down her little legs comfortingly.

"I...I'm not sad, mami. I just heard momma say really special things about me and you mami." Sophia mumbled and Naya wanted to sob.

The fact that their daughter had such a genuinely pure reaction to her momma speaking that way was so indescribable. She knows how Heather's words make her feel, but to see Heather show that same profound love to their daughter and treat her like the queen she treats Naya every minute of every day makes her heart want to explode.

"Little love, you know momma meant every word, right? You and mami are my everything and you both being me so much joy." Heather explains and Naya can't help but shed a few more tears. Heather motions for Naya to swing her legs over the top of hers which she does and then Heather puts Sophia's on top of Naya's before they all cuddle and hold each other like a pile of puppies. "My two beautiful girls. I love you both more than anything in this world. Thank you for making me.a wife and a momma." Heather says and smiles when she feels both of the girls lay their heads against her two shoulders and sigh contently.

"We love you, momma," Sophia says while snuggling with her mommies and her life-long quilt pal. Life was perfect when she was in the arms of her mothers.

"Mhmm, I love you, baby," Naya says and Heather kisses both Naya and Sophia and Heather finally picks up the damn phone when she hears yet another chime from their group text conversation. Heather holds it in front of her so Naya can see.

Incoming Ryan: Just a reminder to everyone that I need you here by 5:00 pm however you are welcome over anytime if you want to sit on the beach beforehand. Gorgeous day so just let me know

Incoming Lea: Be there around 1:00 pm. I'm pale as a damn ghost so a little time on the beach will do me some good.

Incoming Cory: I wouldn't say pale darling but...

Incoming Melissa: Cory... *facepalm face emoji*

Incoming Kevin: What Mel said. Shut your mouth before you get stuck sleeping on the couch. Be there around 2:00 pm. Chord is helping me set up my tv so we will just drive up together.

Incoming Jenna: Harry and I will be there by 2:00 pm as well. Should we bring anything, Ryan?

Incoming Ryan: Nope, just yourselves and anything you need for the beach. As far as food and drinks we will order in from one of our favorites.

Incoming Harry: Are you sure? We can always meet at a restaurant...

Incoming Ryan: Normally I would just seat us in a restaurant but I can't rink anyone seeing or hearing the things about the show if we were out in public and it would be way too difficult to have an open conversation in that setting about secret show info.

Incoming Amber: Understandable. I have a meeting at 1:30 pm so I'll be there by 3:00 pm

Heather looks at Naya and both of them take their faces off the group chat to look at each other. "What time would you like me to tell them, my love? It's 11:00 am right now. Should we say 1:30 pm?" Heather asks and sees her wife nodding.

"Yeah, baby, that sounds good. It looks like Soph is on the verge of a nap which is probably a good thing since she will be playing all afternoon." Naya says with a smile and leans back down on Heather's shoulder. Heather lifted her phone back up and began responding.

Outgoing Heather: Count us in for around 1:30 pm. Soph begged us for a beach day but she fell asleep on me just now. When she wakes up we will pack and come over.

Incoming Ryan: So translating to Naya time... 2:00 pm for you guys?

Naya huffs looking at the text from her boss and snatches her wife's phone. Heather shakes her head and puts her arms around her daughter who is sound asleep against her chest with her quilt tucked under her chin.

Outgoing Heather: Naya here. Alright listen, I'm never LATE you fools are just ridiculously early...

Incoming Diana: Why are you using Heather's phone? Did your's break?

Outgoing Heather (Naya using phone): No mine didn't break. We're cuddling and we don't need to hear the same group text on two different phones...plus I'm considering deleting all of your numbers anyway. *arms up Idk emoji*

Incoming Chord: Whatever, you'd miss us like hell.

Outgoing Heather (Naya using phone): Ehh...

"Give me this!" Heather laughed snatching her phone back from Naya before she ran her mouth. Naya huffs and grabs her phone.

Incoming Vanessa: This is entertaining. Be there around 3:00 pm after lunch with mom.

Outgoing Naya: My wife stole her phone back. *eye roll emoji

Incoming Ryan: Can't imagine why...

Outgoing Heather: Everyone, be nice to my wife, dinner is not until 5:00 pm so we will technically still be three hours early if we arrive at 2:00 pm.

Incoming Kevin: Whipped

Outgoing Naya: Thank you, baby. *side kiss emoji*

Incoming Chris: I've been listening to this trainwreck the entire time. Lunatics. Anyway. I'll be there by 2:30 pm. What else do I need to bring for beach meditation? I'm bringing my dolphin call whistle too *blush smiley emoji* unless you already have one for Soph...

Outgoing Naya: What the actual fuck? Yes, Chris, I have a dolphin call whistle in my purse with all my keys and other essentials...no I don't have a good damn dolphin whistle.

Incoming Chris: Christ Satan. Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?

Heather chuckles before grabbing her wife's phone and setting it on the side table next to her. This wasn't going anywhere productive. Naya gives her a glare slash pout. Heather smiles and adjusts so she's laying back further and reclines the chaise headrest so they can rest more comfortably. Heather places a kiss on the side of Naya's head before massaging and running her fingers through her hair while holding her securely with Sophia. Within two minutes she's asleep too.

Heather lifts her phone and replies once again from her own device

Outgoing Heather: Chris, bring your dolphin whistle, I'm sure soph will love to see it. My girls both needed a nap. They are both already asleep. They hate being tired. After our snooze, we will be over.

Incoming Chord: So fucking Whipped...

Outgoing Heather: I'm in love x2 *heart eyes emoji* see you guys soon!

Heather giggles silently and puts her phone down before looking at the two black-haired girls in her arms and repositions the blanket so it's covering them completely.

"I love you Naya," Heather says quietly placing a kiss on her wife's head. "I love you, Sophia," Heather says kissing her daughter's head. Heather laid back and soon succumbed to sleep and made sure to set her alarm for an hour later. It wouldn't take them long at all to pack a few things so they could afford to sleep a little longer.

By 1:40 pm in the afternoon, they were pulling up to Ryan's beach house. They were all happy since they got a good nap before the drive here and Sophia was bursting with excitement in the backseat.

"Mami I'm so excited! Momma if I put my feet in the ocean will you hold my hand super tight and not let go? The big water is still a little scary all by myself." Sophia says wiggling in her seat in anticipation. Days where she got to hang out with her aunts and uncles were some of her favorites ever.

"Sophia, of course, I will hold your hand, but you know you don't ever go near the water at all if you don't have a life jacket and an adult with you too, right?" Heather says and Sophia nods.

"Yes, momma. I know the rules." Sophia says and Naya looks back and smiles at her excited girl who's looking out the window and smiles when she recognizes the beach house. "We made it! Isn't that cool how the wheels spin so many times until they get you to a completely new place?" Sophia said and both Heather and Naya looked at each other. They loved how Sophia's mind worked. It was very much like Brittany's on the show. Sometimes it made perfect sense and sometimes it didn't but no matter what she said it had you thinking. They'd never thought about vehicles like that, to them, it was just a car that got them places every day.

"You're so right Soph! It is super cool!" Heather says with a smile as she parks their black Range Rover on the side of the driveway leaving room for everyone else. Heather turns the key to shut the car off and grabs her phone and sticks it in her back pocket with her wallet. Heather jumps out of the car and grabs her keys before opening the backseat door and helping Sophia out of her booster seat. Sophia hops down onto the cement driveway and stays close to the car as she knows she must do.

Heather and Sophia walk around the car to Naya's side and see she already opened the door but knew better than to get out just yet.

"Mami!" Sophia scolded. Naya looked over at her questioningly.

"What, baby?" Naya replied

"Were supposed to open the door for you!" Sophia says as if she thought it was like an actual rule and if Naya opened the door and got out on her own she was breaking that rules.

"I'm sorry baby! You know you don't have to help me out every time. It's not a rule. Momma has just done it for so long because she's so nice to mami, but that doesn't mean she has to or that I cant..." Naya tried to explain and Sophia looked at Heather.

"But...but it's our special thing for mami because we like taking care of her; like you and mami take care of me..." Sophia said sadly. What child do you know would get this upset about waiting on their mothers and doing things for them voluntarily? Oh right, Sophia. Heather was having another one of those, I can't believe this amazing, tiny human being is my child moments. Naya looked at her baby girl and made the small jump out of the car with Heather's help and kneeled in front of her daughter. Moving around was becoming increasingly easier and even her scars were healing no nicely once they were completely healed the doctor predicted they would hardly be visible. Naya was relieved both career wise and personally that she wouldn't have to deal with a bunch of jagged scars.

"Baby girl, you and momma are my best helpers and you always take special care of me but it's not your job to take care of me, it's our job to take care of you. You know that right?" Naya asks and Sophia just nods subtly before shrugging and looking at her mami.

"Yeah, I guess. It's not like a super hard job like you do when you play pretend, but it makes my heart happy to take care of my mommies." Sophia shrugged once again and hugged Naya who was kneeling. "I missed hugs like this mami. Please never get hurt again, that scared me because we love you so much." Sophia said sweetly and Naya hugs the little girl back with all her might.

"You, Sophia, are everything. You have no idea how special you are, mi amor. I couldn't ask for anything better than you my perfect little girl." Naya finishes and cups her daughter's cheek as Heather closes the trunk after grabbing their beach tote.

"Love you mami, love you, momma." Sophia held her arms out and hugged both of them. Anyone would be out of their mind to deny themselves a Sophia hug.

"We love you, baby girl. Are you ready to hit the beach?" Heather asks and Sophia jumps making them both smile. Heather helps Naya stand since she still is stiff even though she's moving around a lot better. The three approach the large front door and Ryan answers right away.

"Well hey you three, come on in!" Ryan says backing away from the middle of the doorway and stepping to the side keeping his hand on the door handle and gesturing for them to come in. "Hey, Soph!" Ryan says and they high-five each other before she walks in.

"Hi, RyRy! Are we the first ones? That doesn't happen much..." Sophia asks innocently. They all laugh except Naya who playfully glares at her daughter. Sophia recovers instantly. "It's okay though mami you're so beautiful you can do whatever you want," Sophia says while rummaging through the tote bag they brought. Heather's jaw drops and so does Naya's.

Nice save Soph, nice save.

Ryan belly laughs and shakes his head, "You ladies are the second guests here. Lea's out by the water reading. She got here about thirty minutes ago." Ryan says pointing to the double patio doors. Sophia runs over to the deck doors and looks out seeing her aunt laying on her stomach with a beach towel reading. Sophia starts bouncing and looking at her mothers.

"Oh mami, momma, can I go see auntie LeLe?!" Sophia pleads as she stands in her lemon one-piece swimsuit with the little yellow ruffles on the curve of the hips, white denim frayed hem shorts, and a white straw sun hat. She looked like she belonged on a yacht on the Italian coast, but that's what happens when her and Chris go shopping. Her black hair that reached her lower back was cascading down each side down the front of her chest. Her blue eyes popped in contrast with the yellow swimsuit. She was seriously the most gorgeous exotic-looking child.

Heather and Naya had to even take a minute to realize they created this little girl. That blew their minds because how could anything this perfect come from them.

Heather looked outside and back at her daughter before nodding. "Yes you may, my little love, but you go straight to Lea and what's the rule?," Heather asks seriously and Sophia looks up confidently.

"No whipped cream before dinner food!" Sophia nods proudly remembering the important rule. Ryan, Naya, and Heather smile but try to hide their laughter.

Heather bites her lip to keep from laughing. "No, not that rule baby..." Heather says before Sophia has a light bulb moment and looks up.

"Oh yeah, no ocean. Eshpeshially (especially) if I don't have my jacket or mommies." Sophia said proudly. Heather and the others smile at her pronunciations and can't help but giggle at this little ray of sunshine.

"Good girl. Yes you can go see Lea. Just stay with her, alright. We will be out very soon. Me and mami are going to make lemon water, did you want some too?" Heather asked and Sophia jumped happily and nodded.

"Yes! Oh mami look!" Sophia said pointing to her swimsuit. "I have to have lemon water with my lemon swimsuit! Kurtsy will be so proud of me because I cornan..." Sophia said happily but struggled with the last word. "Momma, how do I say that?" Sophia asked with her eyebrows scrunched up.

Naya smiles and Heather looks down asking her to repeat it again so she can figure out the word.

"I want to have lemon water with my lemon swimsuit because I'm cornad..." Sophia tries but buffs and Heather nods realizing what she's trying to say and smiles

"You're coor-din-ating, baby girl. Coordinating." Heather says and Sophia repeats it several times because it's a big word.

"Thanks momma! Uncle Kurtsy says that's super inportinant (important) to do so he will be so super proud of me!" Sophia says happily as she digs in the gingham white light gray printed tote bag they brought and finds the fancy sunglasses that Chris also bought for her. She places them on her face like the cool kid and places her hand on the top of her hat.

"You can find me at the beach..." Sophia says cooly throwing the three adults a wink before sliding through the patio door. The girls and Ryan look at each other in disbelief.

"Best kid I've EVER met...hands down." Ryan laughed which make the girls shake their heads with big smiles too. Oh, they love that child.

Heather and Naya watch Sophia run down the deck steps and through the sand towards Lea. She must call her aunts name because Lea looks up and behind her and sits up quickly with a smile to embrace the little girl tightly. Lea pats the towel and they sit and look at the ocean and point to a couple of ships in the far distance. Heather and Naya grin and see she's in good hands while they grab their drinks. Heather pours some ice water from a pitcher into their clear glasses while Naya thinly slices up a fresh lemon to put a couple in each of their drinks.

Naya lifts her head when she hears two familiar voices and sees Harry and Jenna walking in with Ryan and smiles at the couple.

"Hey, you two!" Naya greets as she dries off her hands and embraces Jenna as she walked around the island to hug Naya before they swap and Heather hugs Jenna and Naya greets Harry. "Did either of you want lemon water since we have it out?" Naya asks and Heather looks up ready to grab two more glasses if they want some too.

"That sounds amazing right now. Thank you!" Harry says and Jenna nods.

"Me too, please!" Jenna says and Naya slices four more pieces of lemon to put a couple in each drink while Heather grabs two more glasses and pours the crystal clear ice water.

"Is Sophia already scuba diving?" Harry asks with a curious smile looking at the married couple making their drinks. Heather looks up and smirks.

"She better be on that blanket with Lea..." Heather says using her head to nod in the direction of the beach. Harry looks out and smirks.

"She is. Oh my God her outfit!" Harry says and beckons Jenna to the window and when she comes over she looks at the model child and back at Heather and Naya.

"Seriously?! I'm not saying this because I'm your friend...she is genuinely the most gorgeous little girl In the world. Honestly. She's going to break some hearts someday, damn..." Jenna says before walking back over to the girls at the counter

Naya and Heather smile at Jenna and blush thinking about that little girl out there. She's so perfect. Heather grabs her drink along with the lemon waters they made for Lea and Soph. Harry grabs the door for her and one of the drinks. Heather mumbles looking back in the house before she walks outside.

"I swear to God if anyone ever breaks her heart I'll break both of their legs..." Heather growls before closing the patio door to go outside. When she's outside with Harry she sees Sophia look over excitedly ready to greet her uncle.

Back in the house Jenna turns to Naya as she's putting the sliced lemon to the side NYC the water for the others and rinses off her hands.

"Hemo will be a disaster when Sophia's older!" Jenna laughs and Naya shakes her head knowingly.

"Oh don't I know it. A little boy in her dance class was holding her hand for five seconds and Heather looked ready to read him his last rights." Naya said shaking her head making Jenna laugh. The girls grab their drinks and beach bags before opening the patio door and walking through.

An hour later a large group of the cast was hanging out by the beach on the huge oversized beach blanket that they have used many times before. Heather, Naya, Jenna, Kevin, Lea, Cory, Kevin, Chord, Becca, Jane, and Matt were all on the beach on or around the blanket talking amongst one another. The only ones they were still waiting for were Amber, Vanessa, Melissa, Darren, and Chris who should be arriving shortly.

"Mami, look at this seashell! It's so beautiful." Sophia says adorably and innocently having the group smile back at her. Naya looked over at the shell in her daughter's hand and it was beautiful and very unique, almost looking like a zebra pattern on the shell. Sophia smiles and goes to put it in a pale beside Naya and notices how red her back looks. "Mami the sun is hurting your back," Sophia said sadly and a couple of the girls look around at their friends back and agreed that it was getting pretty red and she should apply more sunscreen.

Heather was with the boys and Vanessa playing beach volleyball a short ways away just far enough where the girls wouldn't be ducking and covering from flying volleyballs.

"Ok thanks, ladies. Thanks, baby girl, I'll go and see if momma will put some more on my back." Naya smiles and makes a move to get up.

"Here Naya, let me," Becca says and Naya narrows her eyes. Amber, Melissa, Jenna, Lea, and Diana all turn their heads discreetly as if the blonde has lost her mind. In what world given their history would that everbe okay? Does she really think Naya would let her do that?

"I don't think my wife would like that, Becca." Naya said as nicely as possible. The other girls notice how Sophia squint's and scrunched her eyebrows together glazing at Becca. They think she was trying to figure this bitch out too...

Sophia grabs the lotion from Naya's hand before she can stand up to go to get her wife. "Lay down mami. I will do it." Sophia says proudly and the girls smile at their niece. Naya gleams lovingly and hands her daughter the lotion bottle.

"Really?" Naya asks sweetly and Sophia nods with a grin and pats the blanket making her mom blush. "Thank you, baby girl." Naya smiles kissing her daughters cheek and lays slowly on the blanket with her forearms propping her up. Sophia opens the bottle and puts some of the white sunscreen on her tiny palm. Sophia sees the light scar from her mom's lung surgery and leans down to place a kiss over the now unbandaged, free-of-stitches healing line on her side. The friends swoon and so does Naya before Sophia starts softly rubbing the lotion into her mami's soft skin.

Heather looks over from her volleyball game and sees what Sophia is doing and blushes at her two girls. Everyone is looking at the two of them adoringly except Becca who's glaring and looks particularly annoyed. Heather can't believe that girl and just wants her to back the hell off.

Sophia sits on the blanket and slowly makes sure her mami has sunscreen all over her back and rubs it in gently. Sophia is always super gentle but has been extremely careful with Naya since the accident.

Once the lotion is rubbed in, Sophia helps Naya up however she can but she's still so tiny herself, so there isn't a ton she can do but Jane holds out her hand and gives it to Naya for added support. Naya sends her friend a smile before opening her arms for her daughter who was snapping the lotion bottle closed. Sophia smiles and wraps her arms around her mami.

"Mami you're super beautiful." Sophia says as they sit on the blanket.

"Baby girl..." Naya says and Soohia looks up at her.

"I love you bigger than the ocean mami." Sophia says spreading her arms as wide as they could go while looking out at the endless blue sea in front of her. To say all the girls melted at her words would be an understatement. Naya willed her tears from felling down her already glassy eyes and kissed her baby girl

"I love you and momma bigger than the ocean too, mi amor." Naya said happily.

It was around 4:30 pm and everyone was making their way back towards the house to change into the clothes they brought if they were in their swimsuits. Some of them didn't we're swimsuits at all but a lot of them did so they all went to one of the bathrooms to change. Ryan told everyone no dressing up this was extremely casual so everyone brought yoga pants, sweatpants, hoodies, tee shirts, and other lazy casual wear. Sophia ran out of the bathroom in her black cotton fitted leggings and an oversized light pink hoodie that said Chanel across the front. The hoodie was longer and covered her bottom so it was perfect to wear with her leggings. Heather rinsed her hair in the sink just to get all the sand and sunscreen out of it with the travel-sized shampoo & conditioner they brought along. Now that her hair was freshly washed it draped down her back and chest in tight ringlets. She looked precious.

Sophia walks out of the bathroom and tugs on the first person she sees which is Jenna who immediately looks down seeing Sophia holding her little arms up. Jenna lifts her so she can lay on her shoulder while Harry grabs her quilt that was draped over one of the chairs in the living room and places it over Sophia and Jenna adjusts so her arms come over the blanket to hold it in place.

It was still so gorgeous outside so they decide to make good use of the beautiful weather and gather on the plush patio furniture outside.

Ryan was talking with the older adults including Matt and Jane while everyone was casually conversing as dinner was being bought. Ryan insisted on ordering in from one of the group's favorite restaurants and they all passed around his phone and selected their order from the restaurant menu. Ryan refused to let any one of them pitch in to pay despite the guilty protests from nearly everyone in the room.

"Nope, my treat." Ryan asserts making everyone sigh but comply with the boss.

Amber looks over and happens to catch Becca eyeing Sophia with that odd look that Heather described, the one where she looks like she's trying to recognize her from somewhere but can't remember. Amber is across the seating area so she can't shout over confronting Becca obviously, so decided to text her friend.

Incoming Amber (to Jenna): Becca is glaring at Soph again. Just hang on to Soph. That Becca chick creeps me the fuck out and if Hemo sees this she will bury the girl alive and there's plenty of sand around here to do that.

Jenna glances up just casually enough to peek around and huff seeing the blonde in the act.

Outgoing Jenna: Ugh seriously. She drives me crazy. Thanks for letting me know.

Jenna puts her phone down and covers her niece's little face with the blanket just as Heather and Naya come into the room in sweatpants and hoodies as everyone else is. Both girls scan the room to see where their daughter is and they see Sophia in Jenna's lap as she talks to her boyfriend beside her. Heather smiles and Amber pats the spot next to her which is only enough for one person so Naya grabs a spot next to Chord on the other couch opposite her wife. Everyone watches the frown on Heather's face become more prominent. Jenna is on the other side of Chord and stands up to hand Naya her daughter so she can go to the bathroom. Naya accepts the little girl happily because she can finally hold the little girl in her arms and let her sit on her lap after nearly a month of not being able to because of her arm, stomach, and thigh injuries.

The minute that Sophia is passed to Naya she must inhale the scent of her mami and lifts her head up and then nuzzles further into her.

"Mami, I love you," Sophia mumbles and cuddles into her but she's not asleep, just snuggling. Naya wraps her arms around her and smoothes out the blanket so her little girl is covered completely. Naya kisses the top of her daughter's head as Heather looks on almost hurting that she's so far away from them. It's so stupid, they're literally in the same room.

"I love you more my baby girl," Naya responds kissing her head and looking up to see Heather jittery and twinging to get over to them. Chord finally catches Heather's restless demeanor and gets up from beside Naya and walks over to Hemo.

"Hemo get your ass up... I'm switching with you. You whipped lunatic..." Chord jokes and Heather glares before shrugging in defeat and desperation. Heather immediately sits beside her wife in Chord's previous spot as a big smile comes across her face.

"Hemo, you're unbelievable..." Vanessa smiles and giggles just as Jenna comes back. Chord looks up at her when Jenna looks at him seeing that he's changed seats.

"Don't ask..." Chord said shaking his head and Jenna smiled

"Didn't have to, I've known them for nine years. Nothing new." Jenna laughed.

Naya looks over and smiles when Heather kisses her lips. Everyone shakes their head at these two lovebirds. Sophia lifts her head.

"Mami? Where's momma?" Sophia says and Naya whispers to her daughter with a smile.

"I don't know baby girl. Look around. I haven't seen her in a while." Naya responds nonchalantly and Sophia lifts her head just as she looks behind her she is attacked with kisses and tummy tickles from Heather who is sitting beside her.

"Momma! You were sneaky!" Sophia giggles and adjusts so she doesn't have her back turned to Heather. Naya scoots over just enough so Sophia can snuggle on the couch and sit between her two moms.

After a delicious meal, the group gathers in the spacious beachfront living room to see what the mysterious reason behind Ryan's meeting was.

Everyone takes a seat around the living room and Ryan lays out several bowls of fruit and crackers for everyone to nibble at while they talk. Jane and Sophia are reaching for the mixed berry bowl of fruit and look at each other. Jane leans over and whispers to Sophia as they glance at Ryan's clear class of Sprite...

"How bad do you want to put vinegar instead of sprite in his glass..." Jane groans playfully and Sophia nods just as painfully serious.

"Soooo bad!" Sophia whines and Ryan glares at the two immediately moving his glass away from them before they get any ideas. They both shrug and go back to eating fruit. Naya and Heather quietly giggle and shake their heads as they settle into the couch.

"Alright, Ry, what's up? Do we have a reason to be nervous?" Cory asked and he shook his head.

"Nah, you should be alright." Ryan giggled picking up his glass and making sure it was Sprite. He playfully glared at the culprits and they wiggled their eyebrows but when he brought it up to his nose it definitely wasn't vinegar so he breathed a sigh of relief. Jane and Sophia just enjoyed instilling fear in people.

"So what's up?" Lea asked putting her cup down and leaning back in the chair and crossing her legs curiously.

"Well, I wanted to talk to you all about season ten. It's a huge milestone so a lot of press next fall and I want to talk to you about some character changes that are coming up.

"Wait...what do you mean character changes..." Melissa said nervously and Ryan picked up on her nerves.

"Don't worry kid, nobody's getting the boot," Ryan assured and they all visibly exhaled. "This is referring to character changes and where we will be taking certain plot lines," Ryan says and the cast nods waiting for more details. "We want the main cast to open a music production company collectively as part of the season ten plotline. We don't want to separate the characters but we want them to come together to build and create a dance, music, production company of sorts." Ryan explains and they all look at each other.

"Oh my God! I love that idea!" Jenna said

"Yes, that's amazing!" Harry added

"I love that it won't be separated into two shows because Glee only works when we are all together..." Lea says and they all nod in agreement

"100% agree which is why we all sat around for two days and tried to think of all the ways we could make this work because the fans want to see you all as a group," Ryan adds and they all nod excited about the upcoming season. "There are a few of her things we wanted to tell you about in regards to what we are planning for fall..." Ryan added and everyone looked at each other curiously.

"I'm intrigued..." Amber replied leaning forward to sip her drink before sitting back against the couch.

"Me too!" Sophia added never looking up from her blueberry bowl. Everyone smiles at her. She just needed to feel part of the conversation.

"Well let's start with you then. "We want Mercedes to get an offer to put out an album this season and we will follow her to see where that journey takes her. You, Lea, and Naya will be the masterminds behind the singing portion of the school, whereas Harry, and Heather will run the dance school and choreography portion. Everyone will have their roles in the school and a big part of the first few episodes will be the glee club trying to get a specific cheerleading coach to help run the business end of their company..." Ryan says with a smile and they all turn towards Jane with a huge smile.

"Oh my God! Okay, that will be hilarious!" Diana laughs nodding.

"Wow! I didn't see this coming but I love it!" Jane says

"Good deal." Ryan days before turning to Naya. "There is somewhere I want to take Santana's character..." Ryan says and Naya turns from where she was glancing at Jane and looks over at her boss. Heather also swivels her neck to look in his direction

"And by somewhere you mean..." Naya asked curiously and slightly reluctantly.

"Santana is going to be pregnant next season."Ryan announced which made Heather and Naya pop their heads up in shock and everyone's jaws drop. That would be a huge deal for Santana and Brittany's characters and the fans would go crazy.

"Wait what?" Heather said. Sophia's eyes go wide when she hears this and runs out of the room frantically.
