Hosu..

Aiko enjoyed herself drawing sketches of what used to be her full family. Her heart swelled whenever she tried to even draw an inch of her husband.

It hurts so much. He died too soon. Too soon for her. She wasn't ready. But ready or not, death comes at any time, even when we least expect it.

A picture of a young Yagi Toshinori her heart to swell even more. Her boy has grown up so much. She remembered how he talks about how he would go into the path of villainy just to provide for her.

It was something that warms her heart, yet at the same time terrified her. She's glad that his father was influential in his life. He's part of the reason why her sweet, little boy wants to be the Symbol of Peace in the first place.

She couldn't bear the thought of her little boy going down the path of a villain. She was distressed at the image alone.

She finished the sketches. The sketches were simple. It contains an obscure figure of Yagi sitting at a bench, with both of his parents holding his shoulders from each side, with a symbol of a heart at the center, lingering above Yagi's head.

A strand of tear found itself travelling through the woman's cheeks. She missed having a family. She missed not being alone. She missed it all. But she knew she couldn't held Yagi back from embracing his ambitions.

She put the piece of paper back to it's locker. She had work to do. As she stood up, she went to look for her work clothes. But before she could do so, suddenly, the ceiling bursted in flames, the rubble flew to the side of the wall.

Aiko barely dodged the hurling rubbles, before fixing her eyes on the newcomer from above. Fear reigned on her heart.

"W..who..?!" She was interrupted when the stranger quickly appeared in front of her, gripping her tightly by the neck.

She choked on her throat, having her respiratory tract clogged by the grip of the stranger's hand.

"Hello there, Aiko Yagi..." Green aura started to envelope the woman's body, "Let's go somewhere else to talk, person to person." She then flew away to the sky, before halting above the fiery view of the clouds.

Aiko has always been the one to be scared of heights, and now, she was unbelievably frightened.

She tried to say something, but to no avail, having her throat gripped renders her of her ability to speak.

The blue haired woman noticed this, before letting go of her, causing her to fall down to her death, much to her horror.

Aiko screamed, yelping for help, before an aura of green spread across her body, holding her from falling even further.

As she levitates slowly to the stranger's level, she began, "Wh- what do you want from me?!"

"Oh, just a good old-fashioned retribution." Psykos said in a tone that's not her own, "Your son is a tiresome, well-intentioned bastard who couldn't see the value in his own power."

"My son?" Aiko asked, "What does my son have to do with anything?!"

"I offered him a choice of alliance once, and he threw it away nonchalantly." Psykos said, her tone grew louder, "The way I see it, the only thing that's keeping his good heart from bursting out, giving the birth to the real monster lingering inside is those pathetic moral compasses he calls his 'loved ones', prime example? You."

The Nameless One's memory was getting through them already, but not fully. The fiery feeling of agonising hatred was inside them already, and the desire to hurt Yagi Toshinori was already planted.

Aiko now understood what this stranger was trying to do. She's trying to break Yagi apart, to make him abandon his ways, his ideologies, his morality, his ambitions, everything that made him who he is.

And she's trying to accomplish that by killing his own mother.

Aiko kept a determination expression, "Then I won't let myself fall into the hands of a monster like you."

"That's the spirit." Psykos stretched her hand forward, clenching it at a slow pace as a means to crush the woman's neck nice and slow, "You want to repeat that again, miss?"

Aiko couldn't say anything. She was helpless. The least she could do is..

Use her mind control quirk.

She placed her writhing hands above Psykos's forehead, entering her mental state.

But then, she was promptly kicked out of the woman's head, as Psykos gripped her neck even tighter with her quirk, "Oh I'm sorry, did I unravel your miniscule attempt at controlling me? My apologies, darling, but psychic powers are my field of area, not yours."

"Kkkkh..." Aiko felt her strength leaving her, unable to fight back the force that was holding her neck.

"As much as I want to kill you," Psykos released her, "I'll take a rain check on that. I'll play with you a little bit more."

Aiko coughed her throat out, the excessive throbbing in her heart almost rendered her unconscious.

She descended from the sky, before flying wildly towards an empty warehouse, forcing herself through it, landing at the center, before aggressively dropping Aiko's weakened body on the ground.

She towered above Aiko's posture, before kicking her in the head, knocking her out, as her limp body crashed heavily to the floor.

She stood on top of Aiko's motionless body, before grinning eerily. She had plans for her.

...

Tatsumaki was never the one to show weakness in front of everyone. But ever since Yagi came to her life, her snobbish attitude was nothing more than a rotting object.

She never knew she could worry about someone as much as she is right now other than her little sister, Fubuki.

Yagi Toshinori, he was..always the one, the type to blame himself over everything. He should know by now that none of this is his fault.

If anything, it's the Hero Commission's fault for hiding something as important as this.

She approached her boyfriend, who was still distraught even after talking to his other two friends. They went away to give him some space. She then sat besides him in the canteen, trying to console him, "Hey, you okay?"

Yagi turned his head to meet her gaze, before looking away, "You know, all this time, I had my suspicions."

Tatsumaki let him continue.

"I didn't know what it was, but it was a gut feeling." Yagi sighed heavily, "I turned a blind eye on it. I killed a lot of people. How could I live myself now?" He said in a distressed tone.

"I wouldn't know what to think if I were in your place, to be honest.." Tatsumaki admitted honestly, "But...being on the ignorant side doesn't mean you're at fault. We humans can be a little stupid sometimes." She decided to be a little harsh.

"I don't know." Yagi said again, "I really don't know what to think of myself anymore. So many things has happened in a single," Yagi used his index finger to prove his point, "-goddamn month."

"I always thought having overwhelming power would solve everything, but I guess not." Yagi chuckled bitterly, "If anything, I'm prune to get myself in trouble because of it. Can someone take my place? Someone more...I dunno, fitting?"

"Here you are, talking bullshit again." Tatsumaki exhaled, "If anyone's in your place, they would've done worse than you did. At least you feel guilty, but I'm not so sure about other people."

Yagi smiled, before kissing her on the cheek, "You're cute when you defend me."

"Hey, it's true!"

"C'mon, it's not like I'm unique. I can bet that there's a thousand more people that are like me." Yagi shot back, "You can always find them to replace me in case of an inevitable death."

She was alarmed by that last statement.

She slapped him across the cheek, "Don't say that, idiot! Never, ever, ever, say that, ever again."

"You said ever like three times in one sentence. Isn't that redundant?" Yagi gave her a sly smile.

"I'm serious!"

"I'm serious too though."

"YOGURT!"

"Fine, I won't bug you with that anymore." Yagi threw his hands in the air in a joking manner.

As silence reigned them both, Tatsumaki put her delicate hands above Yagi's shoulder, gently caressing his slightly thin yet well built muscled body.

"You're amazing, you know that?" Tatsumaki gave him a genuine, sincere smile.

"Eh." Yagi simply said, "Thank you, I guess."

"You are, I'm serious."

"Maybe amazing is too far fetched," Yagi then continued, "How about decent? I can go with that."

"That's..better than nothing." Tatsumaki nodded.

"Sometimes, being only decent is better than being amazing." Yagi said, "People really put me on a high pedestal."

"You want to be a symbol, right? Expect that to happen." Tatsumaki reaffirmed.

"Haaaa, my motivation to become a symbol is rotting away the longer the days goes on.." Yagi whined a little, "But at this point, I have no other choices. I can't really let the quirkless be discriminated anymore."

Yagi then shifted his gaze towards Tatsumaki's frame, before asking, "Say, can I ask you something?"

"Ask away, Toshi." Tatsumaki replied.

"If I don't live up to your expectations.." Yagi's expression saddened, "Would you still love me?"

Tatsumaki stared at her boyfriend like he was the dumbest person in the entire world.

"DUH! Of course!" Tatsumaki yelled, "It'll take more than that to get rid of me, Toshinori. You're basically stuck with me, and I don't mean temporarily, I mean forever."

Yagi's lips turned into a heartwarming smile, "If that's the case then.. I'll be more than happy to be stuck with you forever."

"Me too." Tatsumaki replied.

"So I guess you'll be stuck with getting your ass kicked in Tekken forever." Yagi suddenly said.

"...nah, I'm gonna kick your ass someday, mark my words." Tatsumaki slyly smirked.

"That's the spirit." Yagi replied cheekily.

But then, the bell rung, indicating that their lunch break time is up. Yagi realised one thing..

"Oh right, I haven't eaten anything."

"Bummer. Your fault for overthinking stuff and beating yourself up over something that you didn't know about." Tatsumaki crossed her arms, "Now haul your ass over to class."

Yagi groans a bit, before saying, "Okay, at least I get to talk to you for a bit."

Tatsumaki laughed along, as she walked alongside him.

The HPSC Headquarters, meetings of the top 10 heroes..

"Is there anyone else left?" Sitch asked, his hands placed above the elongated desk placed at the center.

"Shimura Nana, sir. She's on duty." Bespectacled Worker said.

Sitch raised his brow, "On duty?"

"She's affiliated with the Quirk Advisor Association." Bearded Worker said, "May I write her off as AWOL or..?"

"Pardon her. Now, we may continue with the meeting." Sitch said as the other pro-heroes tuned in, "Thanks to the work of the Enforcer a few days ago, we have acquired the location of All For One's base. But right now, we need to plan out a move that we should form instead of blindly rushing in. Any objections?"

The pro-heroes collectively shook their head.

"Good. We are on board then. Now, back to our plan, I have supervised a few low ranking heroes to come with you all."

This statement alone earned a displeased look from Atomic Samurai, but Sitch lifted his hands up, "Before you say anything, no, they won't be discarded. Cooperation is needed in your part. Do NOT repeat the same mistake that you all did a few weeks ago."

Atomic Samurai let out a little 'Tch.', before looking away, obviously displeased.

"Now, as I were saying, you, the top 10 ranking heroes, is required to be on the offensive, while the low ranking heroes stays outside to look out for other threats in the unforeseeable future, meaning they will be staying on the defensive. Remember, and I emphasize this once again, COOPERATION is needed. Do not take your fights into a public place, as it would cause more casualties in our hands. Understand?" Sitch asked again, his tone serious.

"We understand." All of them said in unison.

"Now, a week ago, one of our pro-heroes told us of a multitude of mysterious figures standing atop of a rooftop. She mentioned that one of them is familiar. A sperm monster, the one who caused all that ruckus a few weeks back." Sitch said again, "Be wary. Those same monsters are affiliated with All For One. Expect to see them on the battlefield. Now we may not know of their abilities beforehand, but we heroes should expect the unexpected."

"Any questions?"

Silverfang was the first to raise his hand, "I have one."

"Ask away." Sitch replied back.

"Should the fight escalate to the outside of the base, shouldn't we focus on evacuating?" Silverfang suggested.

"Very good question, Silverfang." Sitch nodded, "I've arranged for several low ranking heroes to evacuate a large part of the city prior to the battle, so you don't need to worry. We have calculated that this fight will take drastic measures, and could potentially destroy a quarter of the city."

"That's..." Superalloy said in distress, "That's kind of messed up."

"We have no means to minimalize the damage. All For One is exponentially powerful than all of us combined. We have to give it all we have." He said, emanating a sense of urgency from his voice.

"Any more questions?" Sitch asked once again, earning a collective head shaking from the other pro-heroes.

"In that case, you're all dismissed. This plan will be realised in two days. Be sure to not be late." Sitch said as he stood up, before walking away.

The pro-heroes were left on the room to converse among themselves, to re-evaluate about the plan.

A few hours later...

School hours were done. Yagi promptly exited the classroom with his bag hung over his shoulders.

He then walked with Tatsumaki throughout the gates of UA, before finding himself to be swarmed by a couple of reporters standing outside of the gate.

Shit.

He thought to himself.

One reporter gently shoved a mic to his mouth area, a cameraman behind him recording the entire conversation, "Do you mind if I take a bit of your time?"

Huh. He's polite. Unlike the paparazzi's. "Sure, sure, I don't mind."

Obviously, Tatsumaki was exasperated by this, but she decided to keep her temper in check.

"Do you think that the recent mysterious disappearance of several kids has something to do with your...controversial speech a week ago?" The reporter asked.

Yagi's heart thumped harder at that. Yeah, I knew this wasn't going to leave me.

"I.." Yagi didn't know what to say. To say that this was all his fault is an understatement.

But god damn it, he didn't know what to say. What is he supposed to say? 'Hi! I'm Yagi Toshinori, and I might be the one who's responsible for the murders of several potentially quirkless kids who I thought to be a bunch of emotionless mysterious beings! Haha, what a great day, right?'.

Seeing the visible distress in Yagi's face, Tatsumaki stood in front of Yagi, wrapping her hands around him protectively, "I'm gonna have to ask you to leave."

"Why-?"

"He doesn't feel very well. He's sick. I have to take him to the hospital soon." Tatsumaki answered, cutting him off mid sentence.

"Ah. Good grief, I didn't know that. My apologies. Make a way! Make a way!" The reporter said to his fellow reporters, "He's sick, he needs to rest."

Tatsumaki smiled gratefully towards the polite reporter, before pulling Yagi away with her, ultimately walking away from the scene.

Yagi breathed deeply after panicking earlier, before wrapping his arm around Tatsumaki, "Oh my god, thank you so much." He said as he leaned his head towards Tatsumaki's shoulder.

She's growing taller a bit for some reason, so he had little to no difficulty reaching out to her level.

"You're welcome. You looked pale earlier, so I thought you could use some help." Tatsumaki smiled, "Just learn how to escape that kind of situation next time, kay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I will." Yagi nodded as he continued to walk.

...

Psykos sat on the living room of the woman's house, keeping her tied to her bedroom, waiting for the right time to play with her, and, eventually, kill her.

As she turned on the television, she watched as many people complained about another wave of mysterious beings emerging from the shadows, their numbers increasing significantly.

"Interesting." Psykos raised her brow, "I thought the emergence happened more than a decade ago, and now there's another wave?"

She put her utmost attention to the news reporter, saying how this might be connected to the UA Sports Festival event that were arranged a week ago.

"Huh." Psykos raised her brow, "Conspiracy theorists in their natural habitat. It's probably for the best if I ignore it."

She turned off the television, before taking a sip from her wine. As the liquid entered her lips...

Psykos widened her eyes, startled by the sudden voice inside her, spitting out the wine that was already inside her mouth into the floor.

"Is that you?" Psykos asked her quirk, but to her dismay, it didn't reply.

She stood up hastily, enveloping herself in blue aura, "Hello?" Psykos voiced her confusion once again, taking a step back as she stumbled on herself, falling on her back.

"If this is another one of your attempts to fuck with me, it isn't very amusing." Psykos spat in anger, "Drop it."

The room around her began to crumble, as the scenery in front of her changed into a gloomy landscape, a mountain emerging at the top.

A mysterious, horned figure was seen standing on top of the mountain, it's fists clenched, standing over the pyramid of dead bodies below the mountain.
