**NEW CHAPTER ADDED** 09/04/22 - A what if story set during the episode 'Man of Steel' - what if the RV had recognised Clark as an intruder when he snuck in during Lois' chat with Marcus Bridgewater (AKA John Henry Irons). The resulting changes in events set about a very different direction for the characters and brings up memories of Lex Luthor's history with Clark and Lois.

When chores and punishment go wrong, will Clark be able to prove that he loves his son, or will Jon continue to think that he isn't enough and that he isn't loved?

Every time Jordan closed his eyes, he could hear Jon's bones snapping, see the agony on his face. Feel it in his own knuckles. Dad must have known that that feeling was worse than any grounding. Maybe that was why he had let things go.
