Soon enough, the rest of U.Z.Z. and T.H.E.M., as well as Alphonse, had arrived on Kalidah at the behest of Ayja. For their part, the Expendables were confused on why they had been asked to come down here. Apart from the time they had to work with U.Z.Z. to stop Neville Thunderbottom, they couldn't recall a time where T.H.E.M. would team up with their rival to stop a common enemy. Ayja led everyone inside the I.C.E. headquarters where they came face-to-face with Jinjur and Ojo, as well as several other United Galactic Force officers.
"Fishy Boopkins, Special Agent Ray, Agent Kowalski, Agent Kent B. Trusted, all other U.Z.Z. agents, Alphonse, and Expendables," Ayja began to speak. "I'm so glad you're all here. Jinjur, Ojo, the rest of the United Galactic Force, and I have something to ask you."
Fishy Boopkins decided to speak up. "Before you do that, I should tell you that I just got my new name of the day. As you're all perfectly aware of by now, I take security very seriously. In fact, I take it so seriously that my name is Changed Daily. Today, you may call me..." His cellphone beeped. "Oh... Monkey Feet."
Everyone else just laughed for about six seconds.
Once everyone had stopped laughing. Ayja continued to speak. "Anyway, the reason I have brought you all here is so I can ask you to stop the Kalidahn and Ammonite Impostors from committing mass genocide."
"How did you figure out that the Kalidahn and Ammonite Impostors were planning to commit mass genocide, Commander Ayja?" Ray asked curiously.
"Professor Professor and Doctor Doctor were able to infer that the Puddlehead that wreaked havoc in the Polychrome 3 had been implanted with a mind control chip made with Ammonite Impostor technology. Since the Impostor imposting me is affiliated with the Kalidahn Impostors, if I had to hazard a guess, she must have been the one responsible for sending the Puddlehead up into the Polychrome 3."
Kowalski raised an eyebrow. "And you're certain this is the case how?"
Ayja cleared her throat. "I had my top scientists perform an autopsy on Tyrmric, and after a few hours, we came to the conclusion that she'd actually been smothered to death with her own pillow. The Impostor imposting me was the only other person in the room when Tyrmric died, so it's pretty much a given she was the one who killed her. As for why, well, we can only guess until we can get Prit Stik to talk."
"Is Prit Stik the Impostor who imposted you?" Kent asked.
Ayja nodded. "That's correct. Anyway, my theory that Prit Stik was the one who sent the Puddlehead up into the Polychrome 3 is just that, a theory. However, we can infer that an Impostor had indeed sent the Puddlehead up there."
"Um, excuse me," Jinjur interjected. "Prit Stik had already accidentally admitted to killing Tyrmric. You didn't need to perform an autopsy on her to confirm that."
"I just wanted to make sure," Ayja said. "Anyway... what I ask of all of you humans is your help in stopping the Impostors from terraforming Kalidah and ushering in an ice age that would kill off all lifeforms except the Impostors themselves."
"For your sake, we will agree!" Monkey Feet declared.
Doctor Doctor decided to hang out with the Elphabae in the meantime until she was confident that she'd gotten her plan to double-cross I.C.E. and U.Z.Z. all together. Urtica and his son Tarax did their best to be hospitable to this strange guest staying in their home, none the wiser on what she was up to.
"Have you been enjoying your stay here on Kalidah?" Urtica asked his guest.
Doctor Doctor brought herself to smirk. "Of course. The Mombis are fascinating enough, and so are you."
Urtica blushed. "Thank you, Doctor Doctor. It feels good hearing you say that."
All of a sudden, they felt the ground and everything else. Pictures hung up on the wall threatened to come down and break, plates threatened to shatter, and furniture came ever so close to falling over. Then, just as quickly as it began, the earthquake stopped.
Tarax ran over to his father and hugged him tightly, tears rolling down his face. "Daddy, that earthquake we had scared me!"
"It's gonna be alright, Tarax," Urtica assured him while patting him on the back. "Doctor Doctor and I will be right here for you... right, Doctor Doctor?"
"Of course," Doctor Doctor proudly replied. "Though I think I might have an idea of what caused the earthquake."
Urtica turned to look at his guest. "Really? Tell us."
"Is everything alright, Anita?" Alphonse asked when he noticed how strangely Anita had been acting.
"Yes, everything's fine," Anita quickly replied before nervously laughing. "I guess I'm just nervous about stopping the Kalidahn and Ammonite Impostors."
Alphonse couldn't help but be confused. "What exactly is there to be nervous about? Do you remember the day we met when we had to fight off those Expendables and I had to say goodbye to my giant ball of bogies?"
"Y-Yeah..."
"Not once were you ever nervous through the whole thing. You handled everything with such beauty, such grace..."
Anita blushed. "Aw... thank you, Alphonse."
"There's no reason you should be nervous here, either. If you can take on Expendables, Reptogators, and Floatyheads, then you can certainly take on Impostors."
Anita had to force a smile. "You're right."
She couldn't bear to tell Alphonse the real reason why she'd been acting so strangely ever since he arrived. If he ever found out what had happened between her and Victor, then it would surely break his heart.
Just then, Ayja came onto the scene. "Ah, there you two are. I'd like for you to come with me. Monkey Feet and Professor Professor need your input on what could be the best way to stop the Impostors in their tracks."
Anita snickered. "Monkey Feet? Is that Fishy Boopkins' new name?"
"Yes. Yes, it is." Ayja then gestured at them. "Now come on. I don't want you two to be late."
