Once Zaydorii had notified Professor Professor and Monkey Feet about the incident with the Puddlehead, she proceeded to lead them out to the bush where the Puddlehead had attacked Victor. Victor was still there, kneeling in the bush where he'd been attacked. Blood was streaming down from the outside of his nose and just underneath his eyes, the areas where the Puddlehead had eaten off the skin.

Professor Professor gasped. "Victor! Are you still alive?"

Victor quickly whipped his head around to face Professor Professor, clearly annoyed by the question he'd been asked. "Yes, I'm still alive!"

"What were you thinking, going out there by yourself, thinking you could take on the Impostors alone?"

"I'm sorry, wasn't it your plan for me to do that?"

"Why are you trying to pin this on me?!"

"You were the one who told me to go out there alone and take Zaydorii with me as a flamethrower!"

"He's right, you know," Zaydorii interjected.

"Order, order!" Monkey Feet yelled. "Victor, you're going to have to come inside and have the medical staff take a look at your face. From the looks of it, that Puddlehead came pretty close to disfiguring you."

Monkey Feet and Professor Professor helped Victor up to his feet, and they led him inside I.C.E. headquarters, where the medics were to take a look at his face and do their best to heal him.

Things seemed to be peaceful in the eastern part of the Elphabae village of Frexspar. Urtica and Tarax were going around, offering food to anyone who might have wanted some and striking up conversations as well. Meanwhile, back in the western part of Frexspar, Doctor Doctor had decided to go back to Urtica's house and keep working on her web-shooter prototype, making sure to perfect it for when it was time to implement her double-crossing plan. All of a sudden, she heard footsteps passing by her room, seeming to be heading off into the eastern part of the village.

"It's probably nothing," Doctor Doctor told herself.

Outside Urtica's house, three cloaked figures made their way into the eastern part of Frexspar. The first cloaked figure appeared to resemble none other than Ayja herself, only she wasn't wearing her civilian clothes or her military outfit underneath. The second cloaked figure appeared to resemble the late Tyrmric Curcuma, again without her civilian or work clothes underneath. The third and final cloaked figure appeared to resemble Agent Jinjur Zingiber, and just like with the last two, she wasn't wearing her civilian clothes or her work clothes underneath.

"Hello, Elphabae," the Ayja lookalike greeted. "We would like to ask you some questions."

"Is this about Mamaki?" Urtica asked. "We've already exiled her from our planet for what she did to her children."

"No, not her. We're looking for a blue human woman with moving teeth who drowned two of our emissaries. Have you seen her?"

Urtica perked up. "Oh! You mean the violent savior?"

"All hail the violent savior!" a random Elphabae yelled out.

Then the Elphabae villagers started singing, "Bahoo dores..."

"No!" the Tyrmric lookalike yelled out. "None of that! Shame on you!"

The Ayja lookalike then cleared her throat. "Anyway, do you know where your 'violent savior' may be? We would like to reward her..."

"With what exactly?" Urtica asked the Ayja lookalike curiously.

"Hmm... I'll only tell you if you lure your 'violent savior' out here."

"Okay." Urtica then started running off to look for Doctor Doctor. "Doctor Doctor, you gotta come out here! Commander Ayja wants to reward you with something!"

Victor woke up after losing consciousness to find that he was no longer bleeding. When he touched the areas of his face where the Puddlehead had attacked him, he noticed that they seemed to have healed over pretty much instantaneously. He then looked up to find Anita, Princess Ping, Zaydorii, Professor Professor, and Monkey Feet standing over him.

"Oh, Victor!" Princess Ping exclaimed. "Thank goodness you're okay!"

"Huh?" Victor could only utter. "What happened?"

"The medics managed to bring you back to full health with their magical healing S.P.U.G.," Professor Professor explained.

"S.P.U.G.?" Victor tilted his head in confusion at him. "What the heck is that? Sounds gross."

"Super Polymorphic Unleashing Gel."

"Oh, well, Zaydorii saved my butt out there. She used her fire-breathing to get that Puddlehead off my face."

"A good thing, too."

Victor cocked an eyebrow at Professor Professor. "Huh, why's that?"

"Zaydorii should be losing those powers the crystals gave her very soon while they're passing through her digestive tract. Without those powers, she'll be totally defenseless."

Zaydorii gasped as she let it sink in. "Oh no... what do we do when it's time to actually go up against the Impostors?"

"I'll work on something to rectify that," Professor Professor assured her. "I might have to invent flamethrower gauntlets for you."

"Are you sure that will work, Professor Professor?" Princess Ping asked him. "Fire won't be enough to stop the Impostors or the Puddleheads."

"You're right," Professor Professor replied. "I'm sure you already know this by now, but one of the ways we can stop Impostors is playing a high C note. It shatters their helmets and drives them out of their suits. If we can figure out a way to suspend a high C note for long enough, it should help defeat the Kalidahn and Ammonite Impostors."

Anita turned away from Victor for a moment to face Professor Professor. "Professor Professor, may I be alone with Victor for a moment?"

"Of course." Professor Professor started heading off for the laboratory with Zaydorii, Monkey Feet, and Princess Ping in tow. "I'll need to use Zaydorii as a test subject anyway."

With that, Professor Professor, Monkey Feet, Zaydorii, and Princess Ping left the room. Victor and Anita were now alone to get whatever they needed to say to each other out of the way.

"Hey... Anita?" Victor began to ask.

"Yes, Victor?" Anita asked back.

"I'm... really sorry I said us kissing wasn't the same thing as you cheating on Alphonse. I was a real jerk when I said that. Can you forgive me?"

"Of course. It's just that... I guess I was also worried that that kiss would ruin our friendship. I mean, Alphonse is one of the most amazing people in the world. He doesn't deserve to be strung along like some plaything. He deserves someone who can give him the world like he's done for me."

"I know..." Victor's eyes darted away for a second. "I guess I deserve someone like that, too, but I don't know if it'll be with you."

"Well, whether it's with me or not, I hope you can find that someone out there... somewhere."

Victor couldn't help but smile. "Yeah... thanks, Anita."

While things between them might have been resolved for the time being, there were still far bigger problems awaiting them in the outside world. They still had to face the threats of mass genocide and hostile terraforming head-on.
