Ryan: 10 months
Later the same night as last chapter. Eddie climbed into bed beside Jamie at 10pm.
"How was your night?" He asked.
"Good." She said and tried to fall asleep.
"Eddie…I'm sorry."
"Sure."
"I really am, I don't know why I said anything. I shouldn't have. Please forgive me?" Jamie asked, Eddie turned facing him.
"Okay." She replied, followed by a kiss.
"You in the mood?" He wondered, running his hand up her stomach to her boobs.
"Uh no Jamie. I'm exhausted, maybe tomorrow?" She begged.
"Alright…" he said and backed off.
"Goodnight." She said.
"Love you" he replied and they went to sleep.

The next day the kids were feeling better so Eddie could go to work. She found Jamie in the break room, no one else was in there.
"Hey…you didn't hang around long this morning." Eddie said standing beside him.
"Gotta get to work." He said.
"I wanted to spend some alone time together…" Eddie hinted.
"I wanted to last night when you came home." Jamie said looking at her.
"And I wasn't in the mood then…I was this morning…I am now…" she flirted and ran her hand down his bicep.
"Officer Janko." Jamie remained professional, which took Eddie back. She took her hand off him with a surprised look on her face. He looked around to see some other officers entering the room.
"My office." He told her, she followed. He shut the door behind her.
"Jamie I didn't mean to piss you off-"
"I can't be your husband when we're on duty" Jamie interjected. Now Eddie was a little mad, no one was around why is he acting like this over a little flirty fun.
"…oh okay so I can have sex with someone else while we're on duty then?" Eddie pointed out, obviously being a smart ass but she was mad.
"Go." Joking or not it made Jamie mad.
"Huh, I'm obviously kidding."
"I don't care. Go." He said and opened the door to let her out.
"Jamie." Eddie was so shocked at how mad he was.
"Roll call. Go." He said once more and she left pissed.
——
Eddie went all day trying to figure out why Jamie was so mad at her, but couldn't figure it out. He was upset with how she was dressed before going out, but then apologized. He wanted to have sex last night, and didn't seem too upset that she didn't want to…but maybe he was?
——
Later that day, Eddie was home first, she had dinner ready and warm for when Jamie would come home. She got Alaina set up at the table, Ryan in his high chair, and they were ready to eat. Eddie held them off with a couple cheerios, she wanted to eat with Jamie.
He finally got home, he still looked mad.
"Hey…I made your favorite." Eddie said.
"Not hungry." He said and started to leave the room.
"Jamie!" Eddie lost it, what the heck was his problem. He turned around and looked at her.
"Why are you mad at me!?" She shouted.
"We can talk later tonight, when the kids are sleeping." He said.
"No! You don't get to decide that, I wanna know right now!"
"Not now…not in front of the them." He said looking at his kids sweet faces. Eddie was so distraught and upset, she's been on edge all day about this. She started crying and ran off, she didn't want her kids to see her like this.
"Huh." Jamie sighed and stepped in to give the kids dinner.
The whole time they were eating Eddie never came back out. Jamie wanted to go talk to her but he couldn't leave the kids alone eating.
So it wasn't until they were done and cleaned up he went to talk to her with the kids. She was in the bedroom, crying on the edge of the bed.
"Lainey, why don't you go play in your room." He said shooing her off so they could talk, he put Ryan down on the floor and let him play with the basket full of hopefully clean laundry.
"Eddie, I didn't mean to make you upset."
She didn't say anything.
"Wanna talk?" He asked.
"I wanted to talk earlier today, I wanted to have sex this morning, and I wanted to eat dinner with my family an hour ago! So yes Jamie I guess you could say I want to talk!" She shouted.
"Alright, I'm sorry. I'll just come out and say it then…" he said calm. Eddie was anxious, why was he going to say.
"Eddie I'm tired. I'm tired of the same old stuff every day. I go to work, hardly see the kids all week, hardly see my wife, we never get date nights anymore, and we need them, we both need breaks. I'm tired of us being so tired at the end of the day, we can never enjoy each others company. And when I wanna have sex, you don't. When you want to, I don't. We need to have more sex, it helps with stress and I'm always stressed about my job and I'm sure you are too sometimes. It's just this never ending cycle, and I'm tired." He said, tears filling his eyes. Eddie was so sad, she had no idea he felt this way.
"Honey I'm sorry…" she started to cry too and gave him a hug. She was at a loss of words.
"I didn't mean to lose my cool today on you I just-"
"Jamie it's okay. I had no idea you felt this way, you should've told me…"
"I know, I should always come to you." He understood.
"I love you so much." She said and kissed him.
"I love you too." He replied and they hugged for awhile.
"Maybe the kids will go to bed early tonight…" she teased, Jamie laughed and they broke apart to continue on with there evening routine.

Rocky roads! But smooth sailing ahead! Do you think there going to be better from now on at putting each other first sometimes from now on? Jamie's feelings are very valid, and he did good at explaining himself. He was very mad though at first, which was interesting. Leave your reviews.
