Chapter 78-Bellamy and Ontari leave

Jake's P.O.V

The day after his talk with Emerson, Jake found Mance training soldiers. "Mance, a moment?" Jake asks Mance, who walks over to him.

"What is it? I'm busy," Mance says. Jake pulls out a piece of paper and hands it to Mance, who takes it.

"Meet me there in an hour," Jake tells Mance before walking away. Mance watches him for a moment before he goes back to the training. Jake walked into the castle and walked into the war room where Lucy was with Emma. "I hope you two weren't thinking about doing anything."

"We weren't Jake," Emma growls.

"My King," Jake says. Emma looks at him, confused. "You should call me your King. I'll be the King of Azgeda soon. You should get used to it," Jake says. "Give it a try." Emma grits her teeth.

"We weren't thinking about doing anything, My King," Emma says. Jake smiles.

"Good job," Jake says. "So let's talk about our plan for Floukru."

Lexa's P.O.V

Clarke and Lexa waited in the throne room for Bellamy and Ontari. "Should we be worried about this stuff with this Bone's clan?" Clarke asks her.

"I don't know. I had Titus sent scouts out to their last know the location, but nobody has seen that clan for years," Lexa says. "Some people thought they went to another part of the world, but they have been hiding out."

"How were they at fighting?" Clarke asks her.

"They were good, some of the best I've ever seen. The man who led it matched Anya in combat. He almost killed her, but Anya got him, and his son took over. His name was Jake. We kicked them out right after killing his father," Lexa says. Clarke nods as Ontari and Bellamy walk into the room.

"So why are we here?" Ontari asks.

"You know who Mance is, right?" Lexa asks her.

"He was a general in Nia's army, and now I know he is Lucy's right-hand man," Ontari says. "He was nice to me. He was a good guy. Why?"

"Eddie thinks we could get him to turn against Lucy. We'll offer him Azgeda. He can become King once she is dead. We could have an inside man," Lexa says.

"And you want me to go talk to him," Ontari realizes.

"Yeah, you know the castle and the layout of Azgeda. You and Bellamy will go there, but you must be careful. If the rumors about the Bone clan are true, then there will be a lot more warriors there," Lexa says. "Are you up for it?"

"We'll do it," Ontari says as she looks at Bellamy, who nods.

"Go get ready. You'll leave in two hours," Lexa tells the two, who nods as they leave. The two nodded, and Abby and Luna walked into the room. "Took you guys long enough."

"Sorry, do you know how hard it is to get that shit in that ship? It took a little while, but the dropship is ready in case we need it," Anya says.

"So my Mom is back?" Clarke asks. The two women nod, and Clarke looks at Lexa, who nods. Clarke stands up and leaves the room.

"How is she doing?" Anya asks after Clarke is gone.

"She had a breakdown a few days ago. I'm trying to keep her distracted, and she's helping me train the nightbloods," Lexa tells them.

"How did the mission to Azgeda go?" Luna asks.

"Bryan's dead, and Eddie is on our side," Lexa answers flatly.

"Well, that is interesting," Anya says.

"There's been a rumor, the Bone clan may be back, and they may be working for Azgeda," Lexa says. The small smile on Anya's face dropped.

"What have you heard about, Jake?" Anya asks.

"If they are back, he is most likely the leader," Lexa tells Anya. "Don't worry about it right now. It is only a rumor. It may not be true. Go rest."

The two women nod as they leave the room.

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke walked into Abby's room, and she turned around and looked at her. "Hey, sweetie," Abby says as she hugs Clarke. "You looked tired," She says as she lets Clarke go.

"I am tired, Mom," Clarke says as she sits down. "I feel trapped in here. I can't leave because Lucy wants me dead, and I could be captured."

"It's for the best of everybody, Clarke. We need you alive and here to plan this war and so we can win," Abby tells her daughter softly. "We're winning, Clarke. We're going to win,"

"I know, but I'm worried about what else we'll lose," Clarke says. "Aren't you?"

"Of course I am, but this is war, and loss is expected. As long as we plan well and be smart, we'll save as many people as possible. Come on, let's go to the infirmary and see who needs help," Abby says. Clarke nods as she follows the woman out of the room.

Bellamy's P.O.V

Bellamy looked at Octavia after telling her what he was doing. "They are sending you into the Lion's den. Emerson is hunting us down, and they are hand-delivering you to him," Octavia says.

"I can't let Ontari go by herself," Bellamy says. "I'll be fine, O, I'll be training with Ontari for the last few months, and I'll have a gun with me,"

"This could go really bad, Bell. You dying might be what sents Clarke over the edge. She's already close to falling off. Losing you would send her off," Octavia says.

"Then I won't die," Bellamy says with a smirk. "Hey, I'll have Ontari with me. She is one of the best fighters in the Coalition. She knows Azgeda better than anybody," Bellamy says. "I can't sit inside Polis, O. Just like you can't, we have to win this war, which means we have to put ourselves in danger. We've been shot, stabbed. We just don't seem to die."

"That's because we are too stubborn to die," Octavia says with a smile. Bellamy nods with a smile.

Jake's P.O.V

Jake stood by the river when he heard footsteps behind him. He turns around and smiles at Mance. "Glad you could make it," Jake says.

"What do you want?" Mance asks.

"I want what all men want, what everybody wants, power. There is not a person alive who doesn't want power, but they don't take the chances when they can. People like Lucy think they can get power while there is peace, but that is the worse time to take it. You need to take that power during chaos. That's when men most take the power, and if they fall, they never get to try again," Jake says with a smile. "Before Anya Kom Trikru killed my father, he took me something I think about every day. He told me that mankind's drive for power is what will kill us all in the end."

"Your father sounds like a smart man," Mance says.

"He was, and one day, I will drive a sword through Anya and avenge him, but I must be patient and take my chance when it comes," Jake says.

"Why did you ask me to come here?" Mance asks.

"For power, we will lose this war with Lucy as our queen, so I want to kill her and be the only ruler of Azgeda. If that is to happen, I will need help, I have Emerson on my side, and I would like your help, and when we win, when the Commander and Wanheda are dead, and I am Commander, I will make you King of Azgeda," Jake says.

"What makes you think I won't go tell Lucy about your plan?" Tormund asks.

"Because you hate her, you hate that she is queen, you have wanted to kill her, but you never got the chance. We had peace, and you didn't take the chance, which was smart, but now it is chaos, and it is time to take the power, so are you with Mance?" Jake asks as he holds his hand out to Mance, who shakes his hand.

"I'm with you."

Raven's P.O.V

Raven was in the workshop working on bombs when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and smiled at Wick. "It's about damn time," Raven says.

"Sorry, but I came back with a present," Wick says as he pulls his bag off. He pulls out two jars of rocket full. Raven smiles as she grabs them.

"You're forgiven," She says as she sets them down on her desk.

"I thought so," Wick says. "So correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that you and Murphy have a kid. How long was I gone?"

"We found a nightblood at the Shadow Valley Clan, and we are taking care of her. I'm pretty sure we adopted her," Raven says as she sits back down. "How did things go at the dropship?"

"Good, it is ready for another ring of fire," Wick says as he takes a seat at his workbench.

Raven nods as she looks at the rocket fuel. "We are going to be able to make some pretty big bombs."

Clarke's P.O.V

Clarke and Lexa waited by the stables as Bellamy and Ontari walked up to them. "You two ready?" Clarke asked the two, who nodded.

"Yeah, we'll take horses as far as Azgeda and then go on foot from there," Ontari tells Clarke and Lexa, who nodded. Clarke hugs Bellamy.

"Be safe, and don't do anything stupid," Clarke says.

"I'll do my best, princess," Bellamy says as Clarke lets him go and hugs Ontari.

"Good luck, guys," Lexa says as they climb on their horses and leave.
