[AU] Stede Bonnet loves the ocean, the ships that cross in the distance, the waves that crash on the shore. From his perch in his lighthouse, he watches the sea below, the birds above, and ignores the shadows of large creatures lurking in the water. He is isolated, lonely, and content. Then one evening, he hears a splash, spies a stranger, and everything changes.

Edward has often dreamt of the day he would see Stede Bonnet again. When the moment finally comes, he finds himself torn between Blackbeard's wrath and Ed's broken heart.
