This is my version of what I believe should've happened at the end of S1E14, Broken, with Kate and Lucy a.k.a. Kacy.

Since their break-up, Kate and Lucy's relationship has been strained. Perhaps a little outside help and a tricky investigation will help them figure things out. After S1E11, before S1E17

Set during 'Breach' after Ernie is found. Things get a bit dangerous. Kate and Lucy finally have a conversation.

Set during 1x12 and 1x13 - Spies part 1 & 2. (Not that it will actually happen) KACY. Kate gets poisoned and the NCIS team needs to catch the spies and find an antidote.

I was pondering what it would take to get Lucy and Kate back together post 1x14 Broken, and this is what I came up with. Kacy all the way. Set some indeterminate time in the future.

Lucy and Kate aren't exactly on the best of terms. Kate is trying to figure out how to deal with that, while also dealing with memories of her brother, and a certain group of friends arriving for a visit. Kacy Endgame with a bit of angst, sprinkle of drama, and helpings of fluff when it matters.
