Hey, I'm finally back!
God it's been what, two weeks? I've been working quite a bit these days, also been playing the new chapter of FGO.
Cried at the ending of Lostbelt 5.2. Still actually recovering from that, especially the very last scene.
On the bright side, I got Ozy and Dioscuri with 500 sqs... So all things considered I'm happy.
On a side note, anyone seen that new trailer on Ultraman Decker? I have really mixed feelings on that. I'm personally okay with the design and the actor.
But the voice for the Decker version of the Reflasher is just... I can't... it sounds ridiculous.
But we'll see, on the bright side, we're getting the Destined Crossroads soon, I hope. So something to look forward to.
DCDGojira, thanks dude.
MechaDragon99, I can say I have some sort of plan for the XDU part, it's not much, however, as I haven't really had the chance or knowledge of Japanese to read the stories in the game.
And Shinjiro's kids as New Gen Ultras? I can just say I don't plan on having anyone take the place of any existing Ultras in the original TV series. The manga version with the suits, definitely possible, but not the giant versions.
Ultimablast3, yes, Shinjiro has memories of all the events that Ultraman was apart of. But he doesn't have the exact specifics, for his mind is relatively human. So he has the general idea of what's happened, but not the specific details.
Though I can say that events like Alien Empera, Belial and Dark Zagi are in his memories, but stuff like the Custodians, Shemha and Enki are vague. He will get them in due time though.
So yeah, thanks for the reviews. And I implore anyone who's read my story, please leave a review. It really helps motivate me, and to know what yall think.
So yeah, here's the newest chapter!

Back in the bath house, the room was filled to the brim with Spacium energy.
The six girls were finding it hard to breathe, but as time went on, it got easier.
Whether from the fact that Shinjiro was slowly gaining control, or if they were just getting used to it, they didn't know.
Kirika closed one of her eyes as she did her best not to be overwhelmed, "H-How long do we have to do this?"
Shirabe grunted, "As long as he needs."
Hibiki frowned, "But he'll run out soon."
As if on cue, the pressure lifted almost immediately, and Shinjiro slumped back, breathing heavily.
Chris looked at him, also panting, "Did it work?"
The young man shook his head tiredly, "No. I can't keep going anymore."
Tsubasa frowned, taking deep breaths, "I see. Then take a break."
She looked at the others, and she added, "I think we all need a break."
Shinjiro nodded, "Sorry about that."
Maria shook her head, "It's alright. Don't worry about us."
The door flung open, as a few maids came in with plates of food and towels. The seven of them blinked as they placed them at the far end of the room by a wall.
Tsubasa asked, "Are those for us?"
The head maid nodded, "Her Majesty ordered us to provide them."
She glanced at Shinjiro, "I see the young man has yet to gain control."
Shinjiro nodded, too tired to even look at her, "Y-yeah."
The woman nodded, "That is fine. It is expected."
She closed her eyes, "For now, get out of the pool. It is relaxing and rejuvenating, but stay in there too long and it'll be harmful for your skin."
She added, "Plus, it is now filled with Spacium Energy. Hayata Shinjiro will be fine, but the same cannot be said for the six young songstresses."
Kirika nodded, "O-okay, got it-desu."
The maid nodded, "Take a break, once you feel rested, continue your training. That is what her Majesty wanted me to relay."
With that said, the woman left the room, closing the door shut, as the seven got out of the pool, quickly wrapping towels around them.
Shinjiro sat down with his back leaning on the walls, letting out a breath, "That was exhausting..."
Maria stared at the door, "But will this really work?"
Tsubasa looked at Shinjiro, "I'm more worried that Shinjiro-kun'll wear himself out before we can get it under control."
The young man shook his head, "I'm fine, I just need some rest."
Chris sighed as she folded her arms, "Just make sure you don't push yourself too much."
Kirika nodded, "Desu desu."
A loud growl sounded through the room, and everyone looked at the source. Hibiki blushed when she felt everyone's gazes on her, "S-sorry..."
Shirabe sighed, "And here I thought Shinjiro-san would be the one..."
Shinjiro chuckled, "Let's eat, they went through all the trouble to prepare them for us anyway."
He stood up and headed for the benches where the food was, and the six girls followed him.

Meanwhile, Carol sat in her room, scrolling through the blueprints for the Tiga armor.
She swiped at her tablet, switching it to a video of Shinjiro fighting Terui and Hanzo in the Glitter armor.
The alchemist frowned, 'He won't explode from the energy output now, but it's still way too draining for him.'
Carol glanced at a side, where another screen showed the ten rings of Solomon.
Legends told of the rings granted to King Solomon from the gods. It allowed him to perform all forms of magic. In addition, it placed everything under his rule whenever he used the rings.
Carol suspected that to be just alchemy, but she wasn't sure either.
The blonde was actually tempted to try having Shinjiro use the rings.
Maybe even use it to stabilize his core so he wouldn't be at risk of exploding every time he used his Spacium core.
But alas, there was the issue with the rings being the target of various power-hungry assclowns sitting in their offices across the globe.
"Thinking about Onii-chan's problem?"
Carol turned to see Elfnein walking in, and she nodded, "Yeah, his fucking core is still leaking energy after all."
The younger sister handed her older twin a can of Coke, and Carol took it before popping it open.
Elfnein glanced at the paused video of the fight, "Still, it worked better than I thought."
The older alchemist nodded, "Can't believe you came up with that though, using chrysopoeia of all things to get around the energy issue."
The younger twin giggled, "Well, it just came up, I guess."
Carol nodded, before she spoke, "Trying to fix Shinjiro's core issue aside, I've been thinking about teaching him how to actually use it."
Elfnein blinked, "Use it? As in transmutating gold?"
The alchemist nodded, "Yeah, the armor proves that Spacium energy can be used to do it. Using alchemy takes time to study, but just the practice of gold transmutation should be easy enough."
The younger blonde nodded, "I mean, if we put everything in a nut shell, it's simple enough. But still..."
Carol leaned into her chair, "It's just a thought, he probably won't even need it."
Elfnein nodded, before she looked at the paused video again, "I've been thinking about the information Onii-chan gave us."
The older blonde raised an eyebrow, "About the Land of Light and the rest of the universe?"
The younger homunculus nodded, "Hanzo said he's been to a different Earth, that means the theory of parallel worlds would be real."
Carol sighed, "That's what's caught your attention huh?"
Elfnein giggled, "Well, can't blame me for being interested."
The older blonde nodded, "You're right, I won't lie, even I am interested. But that's something I found out a while ago already."
The younger blonde blinked, "You did?"
Carol shrugged, "Sort of, it was after you left to join SONG. I got a peek into another world."
Elfnein blinked, "That's... news to me."
The older blonde chuckled, "Of course it is, I never told anyone. But it was just a peek, nothing much."
The younger girl pouted, "You need to tell me about that, okay?"
Carol waved it off, "Maybe some other time."
Elfnein sighed, "Speaking of which, St. Germain-san was asking me if we should make a seventh Symphogear."
The blonde blinked, "A seventh Symphogear?"
The younger blonde nodded, "Well, remaking, would be a better term."
She pulled up an image of the Shen Shou Jing, "Turns out there're a few other fragments from the one Miku-san used, and St. Germain-san knows where one of them are."
Carol sighed, "That's something you don't bring up out of nowhere, but even if we did, who'll use it? I'm more suited to the Dur Da Bla, and by extension, you too. The other three can't fight anymore too."
Elfnein nodded, "I know, but like teaching Onii-chan golden transmutation, this is just an idea."
The older blonde sighed, "Fine, we'll think this through more."
But before the pair could continue, an alarm rang, catching their attention.
Carol immediately pulled up the screen, and her eyes widened, "What the fuck?"

Earlier, Kengo sat in his room, flipping open the flip phone, and he sent out a message.
'I'll take that offer.'
In a few seconds, a respond came through.
'Awesome. When you do you want to meet up?'
The agent looked at his watch, before he sent back.
'Now.'
'I'll need someone to pick me up, I'm going off with a bang.'
He added the second message, and a reply came back immediately.
'Cool! I look forward to it! ;p'
A few seconds later, another message popped through.
'Meet us at the edge of the city with anything you need to bring along.'
Kengo took a breath, before he typed again.
'Copy that. See you in five.'
With that said, he locked the phone, and slipped it into his pocket.
Kengo stood up, and he exited the room.
A short walk later, Kengo reached the safe room where the rings of Solomon were kept. He looked around, "No one here huh?"
The young agent turned his attention to the camera, and he shot it with a gun equipped with a suppressor.
Though it was honestly redundant, better safe than sorry.
Kengo then approached the door, ripping it open with a good amount of effort.
He grunted as he entered the safe room, "Glad I have that super strength."
The man looked at the case that held the ten rings of Solomon, and he popped it open, "There you go."
Kengo nodded to himself before closing it. He then quickly grabbed it before leaving the room.
As Kengo left the room, he blinked when he heard a voice.
"I knew you were acting weird, never thought you'd go rogue on us."
The young agent smirked when he saw Moroboshi standing before him, with Seiji by his side, "So I got found out."
Seiji sighed, "Dude, you're not on orders to grab em rings, are you?"
Kengo chuckled, "Unfortunately."
In the blink of an eye, the man was clad in his Evil Tiga suit, and both Moroboshi and Seiji quickly did the same.
Seven immediately raised his blade just in time to block Evil Tiga's own, the beam lance pushing against the Spacium sword.
Kengo smirked, before his saber vanished, allowing his arm to move forward, the opening of his gauntlet glowing as he started to reignite his sword.
But before his lance could fully form, Evil Tiga was forced to jump back, barely dodging Ace's Ultra Guillotine.
Evil Tiga barely landed on his feet before he was forced to dodge another slash from Seven, which was then followed by a kick from Ace.
Kengo clicked his teeth in annoyance as he did his best to dodge all of the attacks, not counting the attempts to grab the case in his hands.
Evil Tiga backed away to dodge another slash from both Ultras, before he realized he was almost back to the safe room.
Seven let out a breath, "Give up, you have nowhere to run."
Kengo glanced around, and he tossed the case into the air, "Fine, catch."
The act surprised both of them, only for Evil Tiga to fire an uncharged Evil Shot at them, blasting both of them to the ground, but not enough to injure them.
Kengo quickly caught the case, before blasting the walls with a number of beam bullets, running through the makeshift hole.
Seven growled, "After him!"
Ace nodded and ignited his thrusters, shooting towards the hole.
With Evil Tiga, the agent dashed through the halls of SONG's HQ. The last thing he needed was for the other Ultraman suits to find him.
He knew he couldn't beat all of them, especially if Genjuro or Shinji joined them. No, all he needed to do, was run.
"There he is!"
Evil Tiga cursed as he spotted Leo and Astra, but fortunately, he was familiar enough with the layout of SONG HQ.
Not to mention, he had been briefed on the features of the submarine, including the missile pods the Symphogears used to utilize.
Missile pods which were just around the corner from his location.
Kengo turned and made a beeline for the other direction, batting aside the few personnel that happened to be there.
A chime sounded from behind him, and Evil Tiga threw himself to the ground into a roll just in time to dodge two Flasher beams from Leo and Astra.
Kengo grunted as he quickly forced himself to his feet, quickly running for the pods.
The recolored Ultraman quickly set the pods into a delayed launch, bless whoever made those settings, and literally threw himself into one of them.
As the pod closed shut, Kengo spotted Leo and Astra rushing for him. The agent barely held back a smirk as the countdown ended, and the missile pod launched.
Evil Tiga braced himself as the missile shot out of SONG's base, and he quickly checked for the rendezvous point Miko had sent him.
He quickly kicked the pod open once he reached a certain altitude, and jumped off.
The recolored Tiga grunted as he crashed into the sand, rolling to his feet before dashing off.
The young man glanced back, sure enough, Ace, Seven and Taro were leaping off of the base.
Evil Tiga looked forward, as Miko, Terui and Hanzo walked out of the shadows, ready for him.
The alien from Temperor scowled, "You're cutting it really close."
Kengo held onto the case tightly, "I'm here now. How do we get out of here?"
Hanzo gave him a smile, "Worry not."
Miko simply dropped a vial onto the ground, "Here we go, glad you could make it."
She gave him a smirk, a tinge of insanity behind her eyes, and Kengo simply nodded as they vanished in a flash of red, right as Seven, Ace and Taro reached the spot where they previously were.
Seven scowled, "Goddammit."
Ace scratched his helmet, "So... that happened."
Taro sighed as he retracted his helmet, looking around, "So he was working with the remnants of the Bavarian Illuminati."
Seven let out a breath, "It would seem so. Let's head back, we need to tell the commander."
The three headed back for the base, and Ace commented, "There really is no rest for the wicked huh?"
(Linebreak)
Later, everyone was gathered in the command center. Shinjiro blinked once Genjuro finished talking, "Wait what?"
Ide nodded, "Masaki Kengo has stolen the ten rings of Solomon, and apparently has joined up with the three remnants of the Bavarian Illuminati."
Jim frowned, his arms folded, "For young Kengo to have turned to the opposing side, what happened? He's such a bright young man."
St. Germain looked at him, "I assume you knew him before?"
The agent from France nodded, "Of course. We've worked together a few times, and regardless of his circumstances, he has always been a bright one. In fact, I was one of those who pushed for him to become the user of the Evil Tiga suit."
Moroboshi narrowed his eyes, "But it doesn't change the fact that he has stolen the rings."
Cagliostro leaned into her chair, "Well, whatever reason he has, it doesn't really matter."
Kirika blinked, "It doesn't?"
Prelati nodded, "We pretty much expected someone to try to steal the rings anyway, so we put a tracking seal on the case and all ten rings each."
Aoi pulled up the map on the screen, "The spell's active, and right now, the rings are underground, near the area where you retrieved them."
Sakuya reported, "Right now the rings are stationary, so we can assume they'll be there for a while."
Genjuro nodded, before he looked at the rest, "So we can expect them to be ready for us."
He gave everyone a brief glance, before he spoke, "Tsubasa, Hibiki-kun, Shirabe-kun and Kirika-kun, along with Moroboshi-kun, Kotaro and Leo. I want the seven of you to suit up."
Genjuro's eyes steeled, "Go retrieve the rings and bring Masaki Kengo back, captured and alive."
The seven of them nodded, before Maria asked, "What about the rest of us?"
The redhead folded his arms, "The rest of you'll be on standby. Shinjiro, you're still worn out from your little session, so I want you to get as much rest as you can, in case we need to send you out."
Shinjiro nodded, "Okay."
Chris sighed, "What a bad time..."
Kotaro shook his head, "No, I'd say its good on him. The seven of you were out, and he managed to get the rings."
Seiji scoffed, "Told ya he was fake."
Moroboshi pushed his glasses up, "He'll simply get what's coming."
Carol chuckled, "Seems like everyone isn't a fan of that guy."
Elfnein smiled awkwardly, "Should we be worried?"
Cagliostro smirked, "No, in fact, I'd say look forward to what happens to him."
St. Germain sighed, "Enough."
The silver haired woman looked at the commander, "Still, what if they bring out more Antlars?"
Genjuro hummed, "That's a problem..."
Jim spoke up, "Ah, not to worry, Chartham's told me that there are no Antlars left. We've killed the mother, and it'll take some time for any other to show up."
Chris raised an eyebrow, "You sure?"
The agent from France nodded, "Positive."
Genjuro nodded, "Then we're good."
He looked at everyone, "You'll leave in twenty minutes. We'll head over with the base once you make contact."
Everyone nodded, and they went to prepare.
(Linebreak)
Meanwhile, Evil Tiga and the three remnants of the Bavarian Illuminati were in a cave deep underground.
Kengo asked as he held the case with the rings, "So, are you really able to send me to the Land of Light?"
Miko smirked, "Of course."
She gestured to the case in his hands, "With that, we can."
Hanzo nodded, "This planet is sealed off by-"
"By a large system or a network from the Custodians, I know."
The trio looked at the man in surprise, and Terui spoke, "So you've done your homework. I thought not many were aware of that."
Evil Tiga admitted, "I actually learned of it not too long ago, but what does that have to do with the rings?"
Hanzo held his finger up, while hiding one arm behind his back, "The system that locks the planet in place prevents anything from getting out, so to pierce through that barrier, we'll need large amounts of energy."
Miko leaned on the wall, "Yep, and once we're done with that, you will simply warp to the M78 Nebula, using Spacium Energy as a beacon."
Kengo raised an unseen eyebrow, "Just like that?"
Terui nodded, "Just like that."
The Ultraman frowned, "But how will we warp? Do you have that technology?"
Miko gained a smirk, "Of course."
She brought out another case, one that held a green fragment, "This is our answer."
Evil Tiga asked, "And that is?"
Hanzo answered, "This is a fragment of the Gjallarhorn. It is said to possess the ability to traverse between universes. The ancient priestess Finé discovered a completed version of this relic some time during her ventures with Section 2."
Kengo blinked in surprise, "Oh, that's news to me."
The Baltan nodded, "Of course. It was dormant, and from what we know, nothing could activate it. The Spacium energy from Hayata Shin and Hayata Shinjiro, coupled with the singing from all the Symphogear users Finé had access to never activated it."
Hanzo continued, "As such, it was pretty much useless to her. So she left it with the government and sent it to Neptune's Palace."
Miko smirked, "Annd at some point, we snuck in and stole a piece of it."
Kengo blinked, "A piece? Why not steal the entire thing?"
The girl sighed in exasperation and pointed at the two men, "That's what I asked them?"
Terui folded his arms, "After the events with Carol Malus Deinheim, the relic broke into pieces. Considering our lack of manpower at that time, stealing it all would be risky."
Hanzo nodded, "Thus we stole a fragment of it, and this is pretty much a quarter of the entire relic."
Miko sighed, "That's what they say."
Evil Tiga simply nodded, not wanting to waste more time, "I see. As long as it works."
The Baltan nodded, "It will. The rings are said to be able to do anything, so activating a fragmented relic should be easy."
The Ultraman looked around, "So, let's get started then."
Terui nodded, "Agreed, we have no time to spare. No doubt SONG is searching for us."
Hanzo nodded, and he looked at Evil Tiga, "Place the rings on the altar there."
The man glanced to a side and spotted an altar similar to the one where they'd gotten the rings from. Kengo nodded, "Very well."
He walked to the altar and popped the case open, placing the ten rings on the altar.
Miko then walked up and set the fragment of the Gjallarhorn beneath the rings, and energy started flowing from the rings to the fragment.
Kengo raised an eyebrow, "Oh? So the rings work? Carol said nothing can activate it."
Terui grunted, "That's because it's not. We're simply using it as a battery, the fragment will serve as a catalyst. Once we break through the barrier, we can leave the planet."
Hanzo nodded, "And now we wait. The altar was designed to draw out energy from the rings. We prepared two, and well, you lot took the rings from the first one."
Kengo nodded, "And this is the second one."
The alien Temperor nodded, "Exactly. Now that we know the altar can serve its purpose, we can put our plan into action."
Evil Tiga nodded, before he asked, "Speaking of which, what's your end goal in this?"
The three aliens looked at him, and Miko scoffed, "Isn't it obvious?"
Kengo smiled dryly, "Well sorry for not knowing."
Terui grunted, "The same as you."
Evil Tiga blinked, "You want to reach the Land of Light?"
Hanzo shook his head, "No, let's rephrase that. We wish to leave this planet."
The Ultraman blinked, "Wait, what? Why?"
The trio looked at him as if he were stupid, and the alien Guts huffed, "Why wouldn't we? This place has been nothing but hell to us. Of course we'd wanna leave it."
Kengo frowned, "I see..."
Miko scowled, "Not that I'd expect a human to understand."
She got off the wall and walked off, "Whatever, tell me when it's almost done. I'm gonna get some air."
The Ultraman blinked, "What's her problem?"
Terui sighed, "Don't blame her. Amongst all three of us, she's had the worst experience on Earth."
Kengo raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"
Hanzo looked at the direction where Miko had disappeared off, "She's gone, and honestly, I think it's safe to tell you. I assume you know my story?"
The Ultraman nodded, "Hayata Shinjiro had it in his report."
The Baltan nodded, "Compared to everyone else, I got really lucky."
Terui scoffed, "My family was sent here by one of the Custodians. I wasn't born yet, but the Custodian called us her experiments. Adam Weishaupt did the same, and he took samples out of me."
He glanced at where Miko had gone off to, "But Miko, she's had it the worst. Unlike us, she wasn't sent here by a Custodian, but by an Ultraman."
Kengo blinked in surprise, "By an Ultraman?!"
Hanzo nodded, "Not sure who that Ultraman is, but it's not Hayata Shin. Long story short, her family got found out, and they brutally killed them off."
The sole human frowned, "By who?"
The two stared at him, and Kengo blinked, "You mean humans killed them?"
Terui nodded, "Her parents were peaceful people, as far as I know. They didn't fight back, and Bemular... Ultraman did nothing to stop them."
Kengo looked at the rings, "So that's why she hates human so much?"
Hanzo nodded, "But that's not the end of it. Adam Weishaupt found her, and her race has been known to have defeated Ultras on several occasions. In fact, all three of our races have."
The Ultraman blinked, "Oh, really now?"
Terui chuckled, "Well, of course you wouldn't know. It happened in different planets, but yes. So Adam took her in, and started experimenting on her."
Hanzo sighed, "You remember how Adam captured your fellow Ultraman suits before he died?"
Kengo nodded, "Yeah, they were encased in crystal crosses."
The Baltan nodded, "That came from Miko's bloodline. She can't do it to the same extent, but the people from the Planet Guts have the ability to imprison people in crystal crosses, Ultras included."
The Ultraman's eyes widened in realization, "I see..."
Terui looked at the altar, "That's basically our story."
Kengo chuckled, and the two looked at him, "What's so funny?"
The human shook his head, "No, I just never realized how similar we are."
The two frowned, and Terui asked, "Similar?"
Kengo unfolded his helmet, a mocking smile on his face, a hand on his chest, "I went through something similar. This power isn't mine in the beginning, after all."
Hanzo raised an eyebrow, "Care to explain?"
The human spoke, "Do you know of Kazanari Fudou?"
The two nodded, "Yes, the man is essentially one of the people who pulls the strings in Japan."
Kengo nodded, "When it was revealed that Hayata Shin was Ultraman, Kazanari Fudou sought to make that power his. He ran experiments on his own son, but the experiment never went well for adult humans."
Hanzo made the connection, "So he did it on children."
The human nodded, "I was born solely for that specific reason. Kazanari Fudou impregnated some random woman and injected Hayata Shin's cells into me, before I was even born."
Kengo's face morphed into a snarl, "My mother died giving birth to me, but even then I couldn't use the powers of Ultraman. Slightly above average physical prowess, that was all I amounted to."
The two aliens let him continue, "So he sent me off to become an agent, and I took part in assassination missions, recon missions, the lot. But every month, I'd be forced to take part in more experiments."
Kengo snarled, "It got worse when Hayata Shinjiro started playing hero. I'd get samples of Spacium energy and blood infused in me, and they'd do whatever they could to draw out even the smallest bit of Spacium energy."
Hanzo spoke up, "But you are a human, you can't produce Spacium energy. Not without a built in core."
The man nodded, "Exactly, until the last few months, Ultraman returned, and Kazanari Fudou got his hands on pure Spacium energy from Ultraman. So he infused them into my body, and I got a painful upgrade."
Terui nodded, "You became an 'Ultraman'."
Kengo nodded, "Yes, I became an Ultraman."
He snarled, "Ultraman this, Ultraman that. That bastard has always been hungry for power, if that's what he wants, I'll show him!"
Hanzo nodded, "Hence your desire to reach the Land of Light."
Kengo took a breath, "Exactly, Hayata Shinjiro. After meeting him, he's nothing but a normal guy blessed with super powers. But still... He said the Differator Rays from the Land of Light will mutate humans into giants."
The Baltan nodded, "Indeed it will."
Terui laughed, "I see now, you're not any different from us."
He approached the human, "We may have different roots, but our end goal is the same."
Terui extended a hand, "You may be human, you may be Ultraman, but I look forward to working with you, Masaki Kengo."
Kengo looked at the hand, before looking at the alien Temperor, and he nodded, shaking his hand firmly, "Same here."
Hanzo chuckled as he shook his head in exasperation, but the smile on his face showed that he wasn't against Terui's actions.
In the shadows at the edge of the cave, Miko scowled. Having heard Kengo's story made it easier to tolerate him, but she still hated humans and Ultras.
Memories of her family surfaced her mind for what was possibly the hundredth time.
It was still fresh, how the humans around her neighborhood started attacking them, coming in with machetes and bats.
Her parents had begged for mercy, not asked, not demanded.
They begged.
The scowl on Miko's face turned into a snarl.
How'd the humans answered? She remembered it as if it were yesterday.
If you don't want us to attack you, then you should've never tried to invade us! You brought this upon yourselves!
Her family did nothing. Absolutely nothing.
They simply wanted to live a better life, and instead, they were beaten to death. And what had the Ultraman do?
Absolutely nothing. He allowed the humans to kill her family, and it was through sheer luck that Miko had been spared.
Giants of Light? Protectors of justice? The Intergalactic Garrison her parents had told her about?
Absolute bullshit. A joke.
She loathed them, with all her being.
Revenge was one thing, but she was nothing if not patient. She waited her entire life, after all.
So the first step, she'd leave this hellhole, then gather forces, and destroy this hell of a planet.
Simple.
But before she could continue her musings, a blinding flash caught her attention, and the girl quickly walked back to the altar, "What happened?!"
Miko frowned when she saw Evil Tiga with his helmet on, and her two allies shielding their eyes from the altar.
The girl approached it, and she frowned when she saw the rings' glow slowly dying off, "The hell?"
Kengo spoke up, "Just to be clear, I did nothing."
Miko scowled, "I know, there's not enough power."
Hanzo frowned, "Not enough? But didn't the first altar show that the rings' be more than enough?"
The girl shook her head, "No, I mean there's not enough Phonic Gain to form a stable connection between the two relics."
The sole human blinked, "Phonic Gain?"
Terui nodded, "Relics primarily rely on Phonic Gain to function. Spacium Energy can act as a substitute, of course. But in the end, it's still an alien power source."
Miko scowled, "And right now, we have enough energy from the rings, but not enough Spacium or Phonic Gain to properly connect them. Even if we break through the barrier, we'll end up floating off aimlessly in space."
Kengo made a thinking pose, "If we don't have enough, how about we get more?"
The three looked at him, and Hanzo raised an eyebrow, "Oh, what do you have in mind?"
The human looked at Miko, "That thing Adam pulled off to gather Spacium energy, you think you can pull it off?"
Realization dawned upon them on what the man was thinking, and the girl smirked, "Definitely."
Kengo grinned, "Then first we'll need to set up traps."
Terui blinked, "Traps?"
Evil Tiga nodded, "Let's be honest, they outnumber and outgun us, by a large margin. You don't have any of those Antlars left lying around, do you?"
Hanzo shook his head, "No, there might be a few small ones, but all the larger ones are gone."
Miko folded her arms, "We do have more than enough Alca Noises though."
Kengo folded his arms, "That'll have to do. You got a map for this place?"
(Linebreak)
With Seven, Taro, Leo and the four girls, they were near a sand dune, where the signal was coming from.
Seven looked at the camouflaged entrance, "So they're here."
He gestured for the Windam to blast through the disguise, and the robot fired its two Wide Shot cannons, easily breaking through.
The swordsman drew his blade, "Let's go in. Stay sharp though."
No one objected to that, and they carefully entered the cave.
As they walked, Taro looked at the radar on his HUD, "The sensors say it's right in front of us."
Kirika looked ahead of them, "But its just a wall-desu."
Tsubasa gripped her sword, "That means we'll have to break it down."
Seven nodded, "Leo, Tachibana."
The two fellow disciples walked up to the wall, and they slammed a punch each into the dirt, making it crumble down.
The eight of them walked through the hole, and they looked around. Shirabe asked, "Where're the rings?"
Taro frowned, "The sensors say it should be here."
Seven's eyes widened, "Wait, the rings, they're moving!"
The other Ultraman suits checked their radars, and sure enough, the signal was moving away from them.
Hibiki asked, "But how?"
Seven scowled, "They're below us!"
Leo smirked, "Then we'll just have to punch our way down!"
Tsubasa blinked, "Wait, no-"
Before she could stop him, the floor cracked. But not because of Leo, for he had yet to even take his stance.
The floor collapsed, and all eight of them fell.
Shirabe coughed as she waved her hands to fan away to dust, getting up from the ground. The girl looked around, spotting the Windam beside her.
"So, I get you."
The twin tailed girl looked ahead to see Hanzo waiting for her, already in his true form, "Hanzo."
Shirabe glanced around, "Where are the others?"
The Baltan gestured at the floor and the ceiling, which were already reforming themselves, presumably thanks to alchemy, "They have their own opponents. I am yours."
Shirabe frowned, before she glanced at the Windam, "Windam..."
The robot looked at her, before giving her a nod of acknowledgement. The girl turned her focus back onto Hanzo, she could count of Seven's partner to back her up.
The ninja alien flexed his pincers, before he dashed forward, and the girl summoned her Armed Gears, prepared to meet him head on.
Meanwhile, Hibiki groaned as she got up from the ground, pushing the rubble off of her, "What happened?"
Taro stood up, also pushing the rubble off, "A trap."
"Exactly."
The two looked ahead to see Miko staring at them, disdain in her eyes. Hibiki stared back, "Miko."
The girl scoffed, "Tachibana Hibiki, and Ultraman Taro."
Hibiki frowned, "What do you want? Why do all this?"
Miko scoffed, "Why? Ask yourself that, human."
The way she spat out those words surprised both of them, as if she hated humans with all her heart. They weren't wrong.
The alien Guts clenched her fists, and she snapped her fingers, summoning an army of Alca Noises around them, "Now, let's begin. I can't wait to tear into your pathetic faces."
That put the two on guard, and Taro spoke up, "Hibiki, you can drill her out later."
Hibiki nodded, having long learned to differentiate when to talk and when to fight, "I know."
Taro nodded, "Good, let's go."
The two charged towards the army.
With Kirika, the girl yelped as she fell to the ground. The blonde groaned, "That hurt..."
"Get off. Now."
The girl blinked when she realized she had landed on someone. That someone being Seven.
The blonde quickly got off, "Sorry-desu!"
Seven grunted as he got to his feet, "Don't worry about it. I'm not old, but even I get back pains."
Kirika blinked, "...Did you just... did you just make a joke?"
The bespectacled man blinked, before noticing her disbelief, and he sighed, "Forget it."
He stared on ahead, and his grip on his sword tightened, "We got company."
Kirika followed his line and of sight, and quickly summoned a second scythe, "Terui."
The alien Temperor nodded in greeting, "Akatsuki Kirika, Ultra Seven. I see only seven, no, eight of you showed up."
Seven scoffed, "We don't need our entire team to take the likes of you."
Kirika nodded, "Desu desu!"
Terui nodded, "Perhaps."
The alien flexed his shoulders, "Now, the rest should be starting. Let us too begin."
The two members of SONG tensed, before they sprang into action.
At the same time, Tsubasa grunted as fell, before flipping at the last minute, landing on her feet. The girl waved her free hand, fanning the dust away, "A trap?"
A thud caught her attention, and she spotted Leo on the ground, getting to his feet, "Leo."
She glanced around, spotting none of her other fellow SONG members, "So we got split up again."
Leo growled, "That seems to be the case. And here he comes."
The bluenette followed his line of sight, and her jaw tightened, "Masaki Kengo."
Evil Tiga stepped out of the shadows, sneering at them, "Kazanari Tsubasa."
He said her name in a mocking manner, and Tsubasa frowned, "Why are you helping the enemy?"
Leo cut in before he could answer, "Who cares why he did it? Let's just take him down!"
Kengo chuckled, "I agree, let's get this over with, shall we?"
He snarled behind his mask, "Seeing you just makes me sick."
With that said, Evil Tiga dashed forward, and the two members of SONG prepared to take him on.
XXX
DONE. So that's the chapter! Not gonna lie, this took me longer than I'd expected.
But with work and studies, what can you do...
So yeah, we got to see more of the antagonists' backstories.
The next chapter will be the long awaited Tiga vs Evil Tiga fight. If I estimate correctly, the next one or two chapters will also be the end of this season.
So yeah, do look forward to it.
Read and review please.
Until next time.
