Minato dodges a punch from the man with yellow hair, countering with a kick to the stomach and throwing his body to the side as the other man attacked him. A chakra tail appeared in the bubbling red chakra cloak, and Minato's eyes widened in surprise.

Throwing his kunai, he teleported right next to the man and punched him in the face. Leaping forward, he teleports behind the golden man's back (golden to be easier to identify) and steps heavily on his back, sinking him to the ground.

Concentrating chakra in his hand, he holds the silver man's punch and breaks his arm with one swift motion, delivering a kick to his chin, followed by a rasengan to his stomach, throwing the man's body away.

Turning around, Minato groans in pain from his chest injuries, but ignores them as he sees the Akatsukis leaving the village.

He grits his teeth and tries to go towards them, however, to his surprise, a huge chakra hand grabs his body and throws it against the ground.

Soon, the silver-haired man jumps towards him and tries to land a powerful punch. But Minato dodges, jumping away as he sees the ground being destroyed by the impact.

The genjutsu had not yet passed, and no one had woken up yet...

"Damn."

He kicks the golden-haired man in the face and throws his kunai towards the two Akatsukis. However, to his surprise, a chakra dome blocked his kunai. A strong gust of wind hit him, but he held his ground.

A man landed further ahead, and Minato clenched his fists in distress as he saw that that man had the Byakugan, although he clearly did not belong to the Hyuuga clan.

"What the hell! Orochimaru!"

He looked around. A man with the Byakugan in front, two men with chakra cloaks behind. Men who were not only powerful, but also had a certain healing factor, since the arm of one of them had already healed.

Minato took a few deep breaths, clenching his fist tightly. Soon, he made a hand signal. A dozen clones appeared, and they moved at the same time. The man with the Byakugan leaped toward the real one, although he couldn't advance far due to the clones.

The two men further back also acted, but these destroyed his clones with great speed, that chakra cloak was dangerous.

Making a circle on the ground, Minato holds up another one of his three-pointed kunais and closes his eyes briefly.

In the blink of an eye, a cloud of kunais appeared all over the surrounding area, still in the air, and were falling rapidly towards the ground.

Minato stood in attack position, and one by one he teleported in his kunais.

For many it would be just a blink of an eye, but for the Kage, it was more than enough.

First, he attacked the two men, slashing, punching, piercing, striking, kicking, and even hitting them with his own chakra directly whenever he teleported.

On the golden-haired man, he cut off his legs to the point where they were raw, pierced the side of his torso and several other places along his upper body.

On the silver haired man, he ripped off his two arms and hit him with several rasengans spread across his body, at such a fast speed that explosions didn't happen, they just formed an area that slowly expanded as the moments passed.

Minato advanced against the Byakugan user, but was surprised to see him dodging his attacks.

The Kage stepped back, and then the explosions happened, engulfing the two men with those chakra cloaks. But before Minato could do anything, the Byakugan user attacked him, fast, as fast as himself.

His attacks were precise, aimed at each of his tenketsus, but despite the precision, strength and especially speed, Minato could tell that they still weren't exactly like the Hyuuga style. At least, not completely.

Undoing his clones, Minato feels all the natural energy coming back into his body, and immediately, he grabs the Akatsuki's arm, squeezing hard enough to break his forearm.

The man groaned in pain, but surprisingly, just ignored it and went back to attacking Minato, throwing bursts of vacuum through his palm whenever he tried to attack the Kage.

Pulling on his opponent's arm, Minato hits him with a punch to the face, sending him backwards. He quickly reappears behind the Akatsuki and hits him with a kick to the side of his abdomen, creating a clone that finished him off with a rasengan.

The man was thrown to the ground, creating a cloud of dust as it hit the ground. However, from the cloud, a gust of cutting wind advanced towards Minato, who dodged it by jumping backwards.

However, still in the air, the two men with the chakra cloak advanced towards him, trying to hit him. His wounds were not completely healed, but they simply seemed to ignore the pain and viciously attacked the Hokage.

Minato however, was faster and dodged their attacks, reappearing far away from there.

He was panting, the clones, along with his hiraishin and the several rasengans took a large amount of chakra. He felt frustrated.

In front of him were three men with the obvious goal of slowing him down, and they were succeeding.

Behind, his son was being led away by an Akatsuki.

If he went after Naruto, they would have the entire village at their disposal. If he decided to stay, Naruto would be captured.

A smile then broke out on his lips, and Minato turned to the sennin who stood beside him.

- It took you long enough, Jiraya-sensei.

The sennin had his appearance deformed by his incomplete sennin mode, but the power that exuded from him was tremendous.

- Sorry, it's not often that I get swallowed by a snake. I realize that these ones are persistent.

Jiraya began to concentrate his wind chakra in his hand, soon after creating a clone right next to him, causing Minato to arch an eyebrow.

- You have no idea... one of them has the Byakugan.

- Hmph... Orochimaru.

The wind rasengan began to create a different shape. Cutting winds surrounded the two men and a noise similar to a scream was heard.

- That's not...

Jiraya smiled.

- I have been practicing since I saw the boy's jutsu. I'll tell you... this is amazing. And incredibly hard to control. I can handle them, the Akatsuki is already far away, but you must catch up.

Minato stared at him for a while, and nodded, just before disappearing.

Jiraya's smile widened as he saw the two men in the chakra cloak advancing towards him, too fast for ordinary ninjas to see.

However, a frog of medium size appeared in a cloud of smoke, and with its tongue, hurls the two men upwards with incredible force. Soon, Jiraya jumps towards them with the jutsu already ready in his hand.

- Fuuton: Rasenshuriken!

His voice seemed to echo as the jutsu hit the two men, and a huge, powerful sphere of wind formed in the sky.

Naruto concentrated a huge amount of chakra, forming a pillar of chakra that sucked in all the water around him. His nose bled as his Bijuu chakra was released, also drawing the huge yellow-eyed creature toward the pillar in the center of a huge hurricane of wind and water.

Ino was still hugging his torso, but now with her eyes open, staring in awe, fear and amazement at everything around her.

They were literally in the air, in the center of a huge red chakra pillar sucking in and destroying everything around them. In front of her, Naruto, with his nose bleeding, his eye red, and thick whisker-like marks on his cheeks.

It was all too much for her to digest, too much that she was seeing and her confused mind was having trouble processing. She didn't even realize that her body was different, her vision was better, or that her nails were claws, for example.

- Naruto...

She called out for him, but her voice fell on deaf ears, and the power around them only intensified. Naruto was trying every possible way to break that genjutsu with his Bijuu chakra, but to no avail. It was as strong as Ino had told him.

Hands began to emerge from the earth and grab his ankle with outstretched arms, as if they were made of rubber. Faces began to emerge from the mud, and Naruto gritted his teeth even harder at the sight of ancient expressions.

The men he had killed. Shinobis whose names he could not remember, or simply did not want to remember. Though one stood out from the rest. It was hard to forget the face of the one who tortured him, even Juugo's distorted expression made him look more like a demon covered in mud than a human being.

Maybe that had always been his true face, who knows, he killed him before he could find out.

Tentacles clung around Naruto's arms, and both gennins looked at the creature around the chakra pillar, its yellow eyes and mouth full of teeth descending rapidly toward them.

Naruto's eyes widened, and expelling more power from his body, he undid the chakra pillar and moved away, dodging the huge blow caused by the creature that destroyed the ground, raising a huge cloud of dust.

However, the creature seemed to have grown legs from one moment to the next. The water vanished into thin air, and that monster started to run towards the two gennins.

Expelling the air from his lungs, Naruto opens his mouth and swallows a small sphere of chakra. His cheeks flare up, and smoke comes out of his mouth.

The boy spits a concentrated Bijuu Dama toward the creature, causing a huge explosion that temporarily blinds them.

Another tail appeared on his back, the ground, the sky, the trees, everything around him seemed to crumble, as if they were made of clay. A flash blinded the two gennins, and a deafening noise inhibited their senses, forcing them to close their eyes tightly.

Naruto took a deep breath, as if he had gone a long time without being able to breathe. At first, doubt predominated in his gaze, but soon everything came back to his mind.

"What the fuck happened to you?! I tried to call you several times!"

Kurama exclaimed in his mind, a mixture of anger and concern. However, Naruto did not respond. As soon as his eye fell on the black cloak with red clouds of the man carrying him on his shoulder, his instincts screamed. Three tails appeared behind him, and all it took was a blink of an eye for him to hit the man with a powerful kick to his face, catching him totally off guard.

Naruto landed with grace, his red eye staring in the direction in which the man was violently thrown. However, he arched an eyebrow in confusion and surprise as he saw an ice stake pierce the Akatsuki's body, and an ice dome consume his body completely.

Naruto stared at it with a narrowed eye, hearing the groans of pain, followed by a cry of despair and the sounds of bones breaking and blood gushing from the Akatsuki's body. Soon, three presences appeared not far from where he was standing.

Picking up his sword, he stands in fighting stance, his three pointedly shaped tails ready to strike.

As soon as he saw his opponents, his eyes widened, and for a few moments, he didn't quite know what to do, or even what to say.

-... Rin...

His father's former student walked towards him in short steps, a serious look hiding a somewhat pained and even relieved expression. Beside her, two men.

Or rather, a man and a boy. The man was holding a huge sword, and the boy was only wearing a porcelain mask.

"...I sense the presence of the three tails on the girl."

Kurama's voice snapped him back to reality, and Naruto stood in an attack position once again.

- What do you want?

His cold voice, as well as his clear murderous intent caused the girl... the woman to sigh, and take a step towards him.

- Look, Naruto, I am not your enemy. I-

- You say that after trying to kill us? Do you think I'm an idiot, Rin?

His voice was as cold as ice, the red of his eyes seemed to glow as he tightened the grip on his sword.

-... I'm not going to apologize for that. I have my reasons.

- How about telling me your reasons for being here? Maybe I'll take it easy.

Naruto didn't look away when he felt almost imperceptible fragments of ice forming around him. He realized it was the work of the masked boy.

"The boy..."

"What about him?"

"... Ice element... unique element of a demi-human species."

"What, fox?"

-... Would you believe me if I said I'm here to stop Orochimaru from capturing you?

He arched an eyebrow.

- It may not seem like it, but we're on the same side.

Naruto laughed in derision.

- No, we're not.

- Yes, we are. Things changed the moment you came into contact with Kyuubi.

He widened his eyes, blinking a few times still wondering if he heard right.

- How-

-... We're on the same side. Look, I don't have time, I can feel your father approaching. But we need to talk. Meet me a week from today at the border of the Land of Fire and the remains of the Land of Lightning.

She turned around with the intention of walking away.

- Hey, wait!

Naruto tried to stop her, however, two huge ice stakes formed around him, trying to attack him. But, Naruto jumped up and slashed the ice stakes with his sword.

Glancing up, a mere instant, he thought he saw Rin's eyes turn a yellow tint, just before she disappeared into a dense mist, which dissipated moments later.
