There was no way in hell he would allow such a half baked looking villain get in the way of the UA festival. Izuku didn't hesitate to go for a dead sprint with enhanced speed to end the fight quickly. That proved to be a mistake as the air in front of the villain suddenly started to react like a piece of elastic. He had at least gained enough momentum to come within centimeters of touching the villain's face. Seconds passed before all that energy began to move in the opposite direction. Midoriya was shot out like a cannon shot for all the energy that was bouncing back.

Gentle couldn't help but sweat a little for how close that kid got to him. His quirk allowed things to gain the physical properties of elasticity. Things that even include the particles in the air. Now that the kid was likely several blocks away, he and Love-Lover needed to make a break for it. They started running in the opposite direction to get to UA immediately.

"Wait!"

Looking back had been a mistake for Gentle Criminal with how much speed he compromised to do so. Izuku was already back when Gentle was certain that much power would have sent the boy over a kilometer away. That would have been the case, had Izuku not known something about one's momentum through capoeira.

Experience had become invaluable to Midoriya in situations that required split second decisions. Something that he learned with Iida was how that spinning kills momentum. Nakamura told the boys that if they felt they were going too fast or wanted to slow down, spinning with rapid speed was more effective than just trying to hit the brakes. It saves effort while being an easier way to control their momentum with the right amount of training.

In order to stop his backwards momentum, Izuku launched into a Carolina Smash. A move he knew was a spinning move that All Might used. That did the trick as he noticed that he was slowing down considerably. Catching himself on the sidewalk, he went into a dead sprint once again to catch up to Gentle Criminal.

Based on what he saw, Izuku was certain that the villain needed to touch whatever he needed to manipulate. That theory was proven true as both of Gentle's hands came in contact with the ground. The range of his manipulation was something that was up in the air still, no pun intended.

A quick handspring gave Midoriya the clearance necessary to sail harmlessly over the rubbery ground. Gentle had taken his eyes off of Izuku for all but a second; a second that he was punished for as he had his forehead kicked in as a red shoe went heel first into his face. He went tumbling backwards while Izuku caught himself again on the concrete.

"Gentle!"

The girl went to the villain's aid as Gentle Criminal was clearing the cobwebs that the kick knocked loose. She checked the spot on his head while Gentle and Midoriya stared down one another.

Staring into Izuku's eyes wasn't like he was staring down some naive kid at all. There was a cold calculation that was constantly looking for an opening to take advantage of. The closest approximation he could think of was that of a leopard. A hunter to the core.

Time was of the essence. He took Love-Lover and used his powers to create platform after platform to try and create distance between him and the young hero. Gaining some air gave him some hope that he can still make it to the festival to infiltrate it. If he and Love could record a video showing him inside such a highly secure area, then it would bring the name Gentle Criminal into the limelight. His hope was met with a hard kick to the stomach.

Midoriya had Gentle Criminal beaten in both a contest of strength and speed. Compared to some of the lessons he faced on the regular, this guy was absolutely sluggish. Izuku sprinted past the soaring villain and even managed to get ahead of him. He leapt upwards and swung his foot right into the villain's midsection.

Gentle went flying far enough to land inside of a construction site. Love was screaming for Gentle while Izuku dove for the girl to catch her before she was nothing but a tiny red spot on the ground. He broke his fall and checked on the girl to see if she was alright.

All he got as a thanks was a bunch of punches and kicks for his hard work. He told love to wait there and not to move while he went after Gentle in the construction site. Waiting until she lost sight of Midoriya, she moved in after she couldn't see him anymore.

Reaching the site was the easy part of the search. Finding the villain wasn't as straightforward a task. Izuku found the area he crashed into, but no Gentle Criminal. Broken plywood that had likely broken the fall a bit laid in pieces with a good amount of spread to the debris. There was no telling where gentle was at this point, so he went to search for the villain.

Elsewhere

Love-Lover was in search of her idol. Scouring the large construction site was a daunting task with how large everything seemed to be. She dearly hoped her darling Gentle was at least somewhere safe.

From out behind a wall, Love almost screamed as a hand reached out and covered her mouth to pull her in. To her relief, it was Gentle Criminal. He was shushing her as they could both hear the boy walking around on the floor just above them. They could hear him saying something, but there was no time to hang around.

Leaving the building, Gentle winced at the feeling in his abdomen where he was kicked. There was a certainty that Gentle had that he had a massive bruise where the kick landed. Love wanted to use her quirk to help him, to which he told her that now wasn't the time. He still had a lady in distress he needed to help as a gentleman first.

Another tacky line that somehow worked. There was a crane that was near the side that faced the forest that UA was located within. It would seem that they found their way in.

Elsewhere

Izuku could hear something creaking like strained steel cables nearby. Likely, it wasn't steel cables, but something similar. Rounding to where the source of the sound was told Izuku enough.

Gentle was with Love again, though their reunion was the least of his worries. Both were in the hook of the crane that Gentle made as soft as elastic to then launch him and love into the forest and towards UA Academy. Another snap decision had to be made. Taking a gander at the still flapping crane, it was another likelihood that Gentle couldn't immediately remove his softening effect from the things he touched.

Leaping on the tip of the crane as it was winding back, Midoriya timed his leap to the apex of the force he could feel would launch him in the same direction. It wasn't as much air as Gentle, but it was still close enough. He closed the distance between him and the villain criminal just as both he and his partner in literal crime were coming down upon the forest floor.

Neither had the opportunity to even know he was coming when he tackled them to the ground and restrained them. Gentle Criminal couldn't believe it. A boy who wasn't even an adult yet had bested him without even getting a scratch on him. None of this was fair. His time to shine couldn't end here. Love could see his pain, the hope he had was draining. She knew with her love, she could give back to him what he gave her.

"I love you, Gentle…"

"Thank you, La Brava."

It was a moment that caught Izuku off guard. The world was suddenly spinning out of control and he had no idea where the two villains he was restraining just now went. Since Gentle was a man of chivalry, he was rather deterred by the usage of brute force. To him, to win with power was far from the elegance he sought.

He was carrying Love-Lover in his left arm while in his powered up form. With Love-Lover's quirk, the person she whispers 'I love you' to will become powerful based on how much she truly loves them. His body was overflowing with the power her quirk lent him for his fight.

"I apologize for this. Just go to sleep for now."

A quick chop to the neck was more than enough to knock out this boy. Izuku was about to try and do something when he felt something else coming through the woods. Whatever it was, it was fast.

There was a bit of smoke when Gentle Criminal finished his strike. For him, he felt that something was very wrong. His attack hit nothing but the ground and gauged a line deep into the grass. Dead center was where he was certain he aimed on Midoriya's neck; so either the boy moved, his aim was off, or…

"Mind telling me what you're doing with my kid?"

The cloud obscuring his vision cleared out to reveal a man had moved his arm by gripping Gentle's coat by the shoulder and yanking him backwards. That sort of speed was unheard of for Gentle as he was wondering who this was that managed to completely divert his attack away. His strength was far beyond that of a human's. How was it this man effortlessly pulled his entire body to change the direction of his attack?

Midoriya looked up to see Haru with Gentle's coat in his fist. It looks like his mentor had a knack for the dramatic in terms of timing. Seems like Haru didn't contact the security and just came over to check what the whole mess was himself.

Earlier

Eri and Inko arrived a little early for the show in order to enjoy the festivities. At the front gate into the festival grounds, the little girl found her favorite person second to Inko.

"Haru-san!"

"Heya, kiddo!"

He easily scooped up the child and gave her a single toss into the air like he really was her father. She was rather happy to see the man again after all this time, though Inko certainly made things a lot easier with how fun their activities were. Many families walking by thought how lovely the family was as Haru put Eri on his shoulders so that she could see over the entire festival grounds.

Inko wanted Haru to be careful, so he promised her to do so. They all enjoyed their time together by looking at all sorts of game stalls and exploring some of the stranger attractions. It had been far too long since she felt this. Walking hand in hand with Nakamura and Inko made her realize that perhaps things can get better. That she was allowed to be happy again with such wonderful people here to help her.

Nakamura's phone went off with a ringtone he selected as his identifier for Izuku's phone. To be consistent, he assigned a certain musical bar from a different song whenever he got a call to better be prepared for who it was on the other line without looking. A handy thing if he needed to talk when his hands were busy enough for him to use the pocket answer function.

"Oh, that's Izuku…"

He fished out his phone and answered with a pleased tone to hear back from Izuku during the festival.

"Hey, kiddo! How goes th- Whoawhoawhoa, take a breath there… Okay, what's up?"

Now Inko was looking a little worried that it seemed her son was slightly distressed by the look of things. A few moments later, he hung up and turned to Inko apologetically before giving her the phone.

"I gotta go get Izuku. He's caught up in something and might need me to help. Mirio'll call in a little, so just tell him where you'll meet him and I'll come find you."

Wanting to put Eri at ease, he gave her a big smile while kneeling down to her eye level.

"I gotta go get big bro, so just hang tight and stay with Inko. Mirio will be here too, so give him a big friendly hug when he gets here."

She nodded and gave Haru a hug around his neck to wish him good luck with whatever it was he was doing. Being away from Haru was a bit of a bummer after the past few days of not seeing him. He gave Inko a kiss on the cheek that always tickled when he did so before taking off into the crowd.

From out of his pocket, Nakamura put in an earpiece he kept as a backup and placed it in his right ear. Tapping it with a sequence between long and short taps, he was connected to the operator.

"Yes sir?"

"Have security go into standby until I say otherwise. Also send any officers that can be spared to my location and tailing me. I want discretion."

'Of course, sir."

He tapped the earpiece off while heading to the side of the school forest that Izuku had directed him towards. Looks like every jackass and their mother was trying to spoil his day.

Present Time

"Who are you?!"

Gentle Criminal was not in the mood for surprises with his goal being so close. Another attack was launched, this time at the strange man that had shown up out of nowhere. All Nakamura did was just tug at the part of the jacket he was already holding downwards to throw off the other man's punch.

No wasted movement followed by quick reactions. Hearing him call Izuku his kid was enough evidence to guess this was the boy's father. They may not look alike, but the physical prowess was there.

"You're the one trespassing, prick. You go first."

At that moment was when Gentle knew that he had to teach some manners to this uncouth man. Trying to toss Love to the side as gently as possible, his free hand went in to try and use his quirk in its upgraded form to flatten Haru to the ground. His hand couldn't even be pulled back from tossing their partner when the entire world was suddenly spun and used as a bludgeon on Gentle's entire back.

While Love-Lover was looking on in confusion, Izuku saw it happen in real time. Even then, he barely saw how Gentle Criminal went from standing to on the floor with his back impacting the earth. An enhanced form still couldn't prevent that throw from being painful.

Another thing that Gentle could tell about this man was how he was clearly no hero either. While he was on the ground, Haru's right leg bent back and full on golf swung straight into Gentle's chest.

Yet another painful impact followed by yet another one against the tree he flew into. At this point he truly should have stayed down.

Love-Lover was running up to Haru and kicking while beating at the taller man's leg to get him to stop. It wasn't Haru who was the one who needed to stop. Groaning and hacking up blood, Gentle stood up again in his powered form to stumble back into the fight. Both Izuku and Haru could see how much damage this guy took while still trying to remain on his feet. They saw how desperately he was trying to do this one simple thing.

"I-I mus… I must-"

A painful fit of coughs cut him off. Love was desperate for all this to stop. She was yanking with all her might to try and get Haru to move. To Izuku, he saw how Nakamura was handling the situation. This was him acting as the obstacle to this man's goal. Izuku stood up to continue watching what this was going to lead into.

"I must succeed… This is… All I have. To make up for lost dreams… Those…"

His life was pure hell when he failed to become a hero and even hurt another hero who was already in the line of duty. All his schooling came to a screeching halt and his family cursed at him as they kicked him out of the home. The little money he had was all used to get drunk on whatever cheap liquors would fuck him up the fastest.

Wandering the streets, the moment that truly broke him was when he ran into an old classmate that he was ecstatic to see. It wasn't much, but maybe he could have one decent conversation with another person. They had no recollection as to who he was. As far as villain origin's go, that was how he embraced his current persona.

To Haru, none of this mattered unless Gentle could show him otherwise. Izuku was uncertain if Nakamura should continue. Love was scraping the grass from the soil while wailing her poor heart out.

"T-to become… To be seen… They'll see… Me…"

"... I see you right now; and to be honest, I'm disappointed."

Izuku was going to draw the line there with his mentor. About to cut him off, Haru continued before the boy could interject.

"You're a man of valor and etiquette, yet you allow yourself to be tarnished. A Plate of silver duller than a riverstone."

Although a bit blunt, it was somewhat indicative of something Haru spoke as truth. Nothing he was saying was a lie. He wouldn't dare be so low when he sees something that he can call strong.

"Have people really worn you down like this? Someone like you? Above the rabble? I honestly can't believe that."

Those words cracked the shell of build up that was developed over the years. A barrier that he thought was a dampener to all the neglect and hatred he endured all these years. For the first time, someone was looking at him and calling him special. Someone who was above those who put him down.

"I think you should hold up your head and square your shoulders. A gentleman you are. Not some petty criminal…"

He knelt down to the girl who was silent and tearing up while hanging off his leg. His hand gently patted her head while looking down at her with genuine kindness for her as he spoke.

"No common criminal could get someone to love them as much as this young woman does for you. Her heart should be your badge of honor, not some phony name that the masses deem worthy."

This pushed off even more of that hardened black hatred and apathy that weighed him down for so many years of his life. He had never felt so light in his entire life. Even with all his injuries, he had never felt so free of his past as he did now.

Without any difficulty, he pried off the young woman and set her aside to clear her out of the way. Returning to where he stood previously, Haru looked at the man at the cusp of a breakthrough. Something to make him understand something that he should have known about years ago.

"Watch him. Right now, he'll be better than any common hero or villain. For today; he will be the man he always wanted to be."

A complete stranger. This man who even injured him beyond anything he felt in the past. It was him that caused the most significant barrier holding him back to crack and crumble into dust. His arms felt like they were lighter than air. His chest hurt like a mother, but it was like the blood flow was returning in comparison to how he felt before.

Looking at Love-Lover, he only said one thing to the woman he loved. To the one who helped him get here.

"Watch me."

All she could do was tearily nod while wiping away her tears. The smile he saw was worth everything he endured to see that it was all for him.

The pink aura was enhanced now. Midoriya was getting a little nervous, now that Haru had actually made the quirk the girl he helped strengthen the man he was about to face. These two squared off against one another and waited for the right moment to end this.

Since meeting this man, he wondered what he was or who he was. Before, it was about caution. Now, it was out of curiosity if he'll see him again after today. They smiled at one another right before they went for the kill.

A little dust had been kicked up by the collision. What Haru had been waiting for was the next set of fireworks to set off to disguise their sound. He did edge the other man a little to match his timing. Things had their own way of working out, supposedly.

Both Izuku and Love-Lover were waiting for the dust to clear to see who would be left standing. Seconds passed and a shape of someone kneeling was now visible. Once they were visible, the winner was clear.

Pinned to the ground by his jacket lapel was Gentle Criminal. A fist cocked while pinning the man was Nakamura. It was odd; neither looked angry or focused on anything in particular. They just started to smile and chuckle at one another. Without another word, Haru stood to then give Gentle a hand in getting back up. Deep bruising on the abdomen and a possible cracked sternum made it a bit difficult to move, but he managed.

Haru dusted him off and even shook his hand like he was a friend from a long time ago. Things weren't immediately better, not by a long shot.

But now he had a light enough load to consider something new. Maybe possibly better.

From the woods, several ESD officers in brush camo came out of hiding and startled the other people besides Haru. They were all armed and aimed right at Gentle Criminal as well as Love-Lover. Things were looking to turn for the worst when Haru stepped in to diffuse the situation.

"Sorry gentleman, this is on me. I may or may not have dragged my buddy here all the way out to the woods to have some drinks. He got rowdy and I had to tackle him a little. His quirk went off and it was just a huge mess. Our bad."

Out of all the lies that Izuku heard from the man, that had to be the worst one. How on earth was a team of professional law enforcement officers going-

"I see. We apologize for the way we approached. We weren't certain if this was to be an actual threat."

It worked. How it did so was completely bewildering. Midoriya supposed that the fact he was now employed by UA gave him some leeway. Still, bewildering.

There was a medical team that arrived in less than a minute to take the villain to the medical ward for his internal bleeding and the confirmed to be cracked sternum. When asked about the relationship that the girl had to the man, Haru spoke out and said girlfriend. By far, Izuku was the most flabbergasted at the odd choice of lie until he said something equally crazy to the medic.

"She's twenty one."

While she was embarrassed, Izuku was trying to make heads or tails of the logic. None of this made any sort of sense. He just wanted to go and-

"Shit! The supplies!"

At the beginning of his fight with Gentle was when he left the two bags of supplies he got for the show. Trying to make a break for it, Haru just asked where the supplies were. All Izuku said was that it was a small, run down looking place that served Gold's tea that Momo had for Haru to dial a number and talk to someone. It took less than a minute and he handled it.

As it were, he and the owner were chums since the old man was one of Nakamura's suppliers for quality tea leaves and spices. Less than seven minutes later, an Italian sports car in gunmetal blue came screeching up the driveway that led to the unloading spot for students. Through the rolled down window was an elderly man who looked far too frail to drive sixteen cylinders like the way he did on public roads.

Izuku thanked the elderly man before he rolled up the window and burned rubber to then drift down the curve and back to his tea shop. Truly one of the more backwards day's he's ever known.

With everything set, Haru reminded Izuku of his time and how he had less than half an hour to get ready. Thankfully he wasn't injured or dirty, so he made a mad dash back to his group to get ready for the show.

Later

The auditorium was filled to the brim with students and spectators from all around. Everyone was rather expectant for the show to be something special, considering that the infamous class of 1-A was the one to kick off the festival with an opening act before the other classes went on to do their own presentations.

Curtains were still closed while those behind it were waiting for their cue. In the audience were Nakamura, Eri, Inko, and Mirio; who were all waiting in anticipation for what these young heroes had in store for all of them. Also, right between Mirio and Inko, a supportive and excited Mitsuki had made it to the show to witness what her son had been slaving away to make. She made good on her promise to show up for the festival by making sure she finished as much work as possible before taking the time off. Her role as a floor manager was not an easy one, though it did have its advantages for the single mother.

It was finally about to start. A chime came in to signal the crowd that the show was to begin. Everybody held their breath for a beat before the lights kicked on and a geyser of explosive fire blasted into the sky directly coming from the drummer. Absolute pandemonium of passion and energy was a hell of a way for a show to start.

The opening was nothing short of intense. Every single soul listening in was hooked from the first measure for the rest of the wild ride that was this one performance.

"THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING OOOOOOOUT!"

Kyoka had experience on the stage and knew how to work the crowd just right to get them into the performance. Years of playing in front of all sorts of crowds gave her an edge in knowing what a crowd likes. She was actually the main consultant for the class in how they structured the entire show and it was invaluable knowledge. In fact, she even contacted some of her old performance members and even got them to speak to the class about professional performances.

All that time delving into her love and passion helped those she considered her invaluable friends. There was a riff in the middle of the song that needed everyone to be on point with the presentation. Nobody could focus on anything else other than their exact jobs. Right as Bakugou called it, a flurry of Ice and fireworks created a completely new world that was unlike anything anybody had expected from a bunch of teenagers.

To say that people had a phenomenal time was the understatement of the century. They were transported to a new world that they never knew existed. This sort of thing was something that Jiro had fallen in love with for all her life. To see the people lose themselves in something they can universally love. Looking over the crowd, it was also a little bittersweet.

For her, this was something to savor. Perhaps for the last time.

Several Days Ago

"I'm sorry, guys… I don't think I can become a musician."

Her parents were honestly a bit put off by the fact their daughter thought she had to apologize to them. Kyotoka, Kyoka's father, even told her daughter not to worry about the semantics of how she went about things. They knew that their daughter wouldn't make this sort of decision if she didn't want it badly.

After all, she was their daughter.

It was clear to them from the very start. All those shows she performed ever since she was a little kid, she loved music. To be with those very people who shared her brand of that love was something to behold. For Kyoka, she wanted to go further.

Her mother said it best. It was what Kyoka could offer with her sound rather than the immediate rush of just playing music. Their daughter was meant to make people happy through her own way.

The way of a hero.

After the meet up, she bid her parents goodbye to return to UA Academy. Waiting outside for her was the ever diligent Midoriya Izuku just looking at the trees across the road. He had a bit of a mature taste for a kid of his age, but that suited her just fine. While she was in a cardigan, striped tee, and skate shoes; he was in a cardigan of a lighter color paired with a clam shirt and baggy pants that were made of some sort of silk and nylon blend.

He didn't know this, but she thought that the watch he wore along with the simple cuban link chain on his opposite wrist was incredibly sexy. His forearms were a bit of a weakness for her. His slip ons were soft and had no socks to expose his ankles. Nakamura seriously had some great taste in threads in her opinion.

"Hey you; where you headed?"

Izuku turned his head to Kyoka wrapping her left arm around his left one, hooking herself in the crook that was made with his hands in his pocket. Without missing a beat, he smiled abc and just went with it.

"I dunno, I really haven't figured that out yet. Nooot to familiar with the area, I'm afraid."

"Hm, there's a great patisserie nearby we could stop by. Could find something sweet for your tastes."

She leaned in and felt chills run down her spine with the musk of his subtle cologne he was wearing. He just gave her those eyes she knew meant that he was fighting hard against carrying her by the thighs and shoving her against her family home for a heavy petting session.

"I see something sweet already, and it seems to fit my tastes just right."

Enough was enough. She tugged Izuku along and they had a fun time on their little impromptu date to get some treats for the others before heading back to UA. Meanwhile, Kyotoka had seen the entire thing from the upstairs window. Mika had to actually catch her husband in a headlock to keep him from jumping out the window and throttling the boy who defiled their daughter.

Something both mother and child were all too familiar with doing.

Present Time

It was a hell of a time. People were losing their minds with the sheer passion and wonder this show was. All the parents as well as Mirio were all stunned at the beauty of what they were seeing. Nothing could have been better than seeing these kids just have fun while being something that can make people smile to the point it hurts.

Mirio looked up at Eri, who was seated upon Nakamura's shoulders, and saw her smiling with the rest of the others. He saw something that was more than just a little girl who found a way to feel wonderment; she had that joy and was sharing it with her new family. SOmething like this was truly the way things should be for the world.

The teenage boy then saw something in the man who was carrying Eri change. Nakamura's face suddenly froze and had a look of stunned realization. His head snapped to the right and stared at the empty space right next to him in the audience.

He didn't know what had happened, but clearly Mirio saw the man had felt something to his right and now was staring at that space in confusion. Haru's face was turned away, though it was easy to tell he was lost in thought.

What Mirio failed to notice was that Mitsuki too had suddenly turned to look at that spot as well. They both felt something that gave them pause while trying to make sense of it. A name they both knew that they both dearly missed.

For a moment, it was like he was there for a second. To watch his son be the best he could be and enjoy it as well. Haru said it under his breath while Eri started to notice Haru was distracted by something to his right. To her there was nothing there. All she heard was him saying someone's name.

"... Masara?"

Later

A resounding success. The show went off without a hitch and it all felt like it was nothing but a dream for the performers. They couldn't attend class 1-B's performance, though they heard the audience had an absolute blast with it. It was for none of the reasons that class 1-B had intended their audience to enjoy for, but a win was a win.

Eri had been cheering for Izuku from Haru's shoulders, so he let the girl down to go run towards her savior. She couldn't contain all the excitement she felt and just used mouth noises to express her joy. It brought a tear to Izuku's eye.

Just then, Nakamura got another call. He excused himself and asked that Inko talk to Izuku first while he takes a moment to answer it. The mother nodded and greeted her son with open arms. Seeing his mom was such a relief and joy to him that she saw all the hard work that he and his classmates put into creating this show. When Nakamura said a moment, he really did mean a moment. He was back and already patted the teen on his shoulder with a look of sincere pride over Izuku's hard work.

"You did good, kiddo. I couldn't be prouder of you; even if I tried."

There was a bit of sheepish stuttering while he was rubbing the back of his head. A habit that nobody saw for some time now. Since he was so familiar with the others as well, Haru went off to congratulate the other students for their parts in the incredible show.

Inko scanned around and saw Mitsuki with Bakugou just nearby. She asked that Izuku brink Eri along as they go say hi. The two friends reunited and hugged excitedly to see each other after so long. They complimented each other about how they looked good for their age while trying to be humble over the compliments. Another student who saw this said something about the two being milfs and was sent through a nearby window with both Izuku and Katsuki soccer kicking the kid's head with all their might. Apparently it wasn't just Haru he needed to keep an eye out when he made his inappropriate comments.

Mitsuki took a good look at Izuku and Katsuki; neither of them were like their childhood selves, with confidence that was better suited for men twice their age. Especially for someone like Izuku.

"Izuku! It's been so long! How have you been? I hope my darling little son hasn't given you too much trouble."

"Huh? What the he-"

She caught the boy in a headlock to shut him up while she kept talking to the boy. Izuku was just asking that Mitsuki allow her son to breathe, which she relented in doing. They had a bit of a spat, which they diffused by themselves after a few seconds of fighting. By the look of things, these two got better at handling themselves.

"Anyways, you should come over sometime! I would love to make you something for old time sake. What do you say?"

"Of course. I would be more than happy to."

Pulling out her phone to get the boy's contact info wasn't what he expected, but followed suit. Once that was taken care of, she kept reminiscing with the boy and asking him all sorts of questions. Inko could tell that the woman was rather interested in speaking to her son.

It wasn't until Nakamura got back that Mitsuki broke concentration on Izuku and merrily joined the group in their get together. Izuku was a bit stuck with Eri and his family, so he had to apologize to the girls for his sudden absence. Understanding, they all still had a great time with everyone else.

Katsuki was a bit reluctant since he was rather keen on just hanging out with the rest of the guys to go check out the rest of the place. His mother grabbed a fistful of his hair when he tried to escape.

Grumbling to himself, he felt someone tug at his pant leg. Peeking over to the source, it was Eri who reached out to hold hands with the temperamental boy. Izuku was holding the right one and wasn't sure if Katsuki was going to do anything that would hurt the child's feelings. Without even a bit of resistance, he took the extended hand without hesitation and made the girl smile merrily at the gesture. He was even answering her questions about him, albeit short and gruff still. She didn't mind at all as she was too happy to notice.

All of it was just perfect.

UA Academy ESD Medical Facility

"As it seems, none of the misdemeanors are of significant standings; though the assault cases against heroes who responded to your antics can constitute as an obstruction of justice."

Gentle Criminal was in a hospital bed with a brace meant to keep the bones in his chest aligned until he fully heals. An amazingly comfortable piece of medical equipment. To his left was both Love-Lover and the ESD inspection agent. Since the man was apprehended by ESD officers alone, the man would fall under their jurisdiction.

Love wanted to protest against the charges, though Gentle calmed her down when he said it was all true. If things were to continue like this, he would risk serious prison time. Both she and Gentle were asking for anything but that.

"Buuut, it seems that you also qualify for the Hero Revision Program that the government is currently trying out. On top of that, you even have a sponsor willing to push you through effective immediately."
