"You look like a huge weight has been lifted from your shoulders Nanaki." Kiro said from his seat as Nanaki relaxed on their way to Guardia they were able to get the Coordinates as well thanks to Bugenhagen.
"You seemed pretty happy for him too." Zidane said slyly to Kiro.
Kiro blushed and looked away. "Well, I mean who wouldn't be he just found out Seto was someone to be proud of after all! And he was finally able to forgive him. You'd have to be Heartless to not be happy for him."
Zidane smiled. "He likes us." Soon however the World came into view as they prepared to land.
A Clock is heard as a Pendulum swings hands spin reaching the time of three o'clock as a castle appears from a ship bursting through light with a large forest and floats over top as the Clock becomes a G in the word
Guardia
A sword then shoots down destroying it all as it disappears into Darkness
The group arrived in a large forest area immediately Nanaki started sniffing the area; "A Fire, perhaps a camp?" Kiro suddenly saw something to the east of them.
"I don't think so!" he said turning to a large stream of black smoke rising from the tree tops.
"Let's hurry!" Zidane shouted as the group rushed towards the inferno. They soon saw an entire house on Fire Amei gasped while Zidane cursed in surprised. Nanaki's ears suddenly perked Kiro listened to and his blood ran cold as he could faintly hear children screaming in fear and crying.
"There are Children trapped inside!" Nanaki said frantically. Immediately without a word the group rushed inside Zidane kicking the door down. Kiro cast shell, to protect them. And when they got inside amidst the crimson flames was various gadgets and technology. Other than that it looked like a normal room with Closets and rugs.
"Chrono….." said a voice at Kiro he turned to see a Robot that was large and red with silver edges with a large round body. However it was completely smashed a large chunk was missing from his head. Whereas one arm and both legs had been ripped clean off. There were also scorch marks and a large set of claw marks in the chest. "Miss Kid and Mistress Lucca are stuck in the back room! I am sorry I lacka the…zzzt Power….to help yoummmmmmm" the Robot said shutting down, his eyes becoming dark, as black smoke rose from his head and chest and sparks flew off him.
"Someone did this on purpose…" Kiro muttered in horror. Amei suddenly screamed. Kiro turned to see a large fat monster with fiery wings. It appeared to be mostly made of Lava with magma serving as the lower half of the body and legs. It roared swinging its fist at them they all dodged.
"We need ice magic to take that thing out!" Kiro shouted. Amei nodded.
"Why not water!?" Zidane asked.
"Because believe it or not that's not how the table works. Fire and Ice are opposed, meaning strong against each other. The Same for Water and Thunder, Wind and Earth are opposed as well. Poison is weak to light, and poison makes Darkness stronger same with Death. But Light and Dark cancel each other out!" Kiro shouted as he dodged a burst of Flame and fired a blizzard in its face making it flinch. "Not sure why."
"Well, ice is frozen water anyway so; I'll distract him you cool him down!" Zidane declared as Kiro nodded, joining Amei and Nanaki on the offensive. With a few slashes from his Legacy of Light Keyblade as Kiro decided not to risk using Burning Chakra the monster had fallen to its knees.
"All together!" Nanaki shouted.
"Blizzara!" They all shouted unleashing a burst of cool air that Kiro could feel a bit stronger at the tip of his Keyblade as the monster fell.
"Kiro!" Eraqus called as he and Raian suddenly burst in. "What's going on!?"
"Someone set this house on fire and is attacking everyone inside with monsters!" Kiro quickly explained.
"How awful!" Raian gasped.
"What the heck are you doing hiding in a fire!?" Zidane cried, finding a kid in a nearby closet. "You'll be killed get out of here now!"
"Okay, oh listen! A bunch more of us are hiding in their rooms! Lucca told us too, when those weird freaks arrived! They set the house on fire after they and Lucca screamed for so long." the boy said almost in tears.
Zidane softened, "Okay just get out of here we'll get your friends out." Zidane said the boy nodded and rushed out the door. Kiro made sure no debris could block the way by using Blizzara to cool off the ceiling and the room.
"Let's get going!" Kiro said. Immediately opening the door in the next room they were greeted with another Lava-boy who roared at them. It immediately unleashed a heavy stream of Fire. Raian immediately using his wandering star Keyblade and transformed it into his spear form, Kiro rushed forward covering him. As he focused he felt cold He unleashed the Shot Lock Sub Zero and blasted the foe back.
"Blizzard Edge!" Eraqus shouted landing the blow on the Lava boy's feet before it could what him with a glowing fiery fist, "Raian now!" Eraqus shouted.
"Frost Jump!" Raian shouted landing the blizzard laced lance deep in the monster's heart making it shriek in pain before bursting away into light.
Raian helped a boy who had been holding his breath he was coughing and Panting as Nanaki rushed him out.
"That Robot said that Lucca and Kid were in the back room but how do we get there?!" Kiro said.
"We'll have to split up this house is huge and we stand a better chance of getting everyone out if we do." Eraqus said coughing a little. "We'd better hurry Shell is wearing off."
They nodded "I'll go down the bottom Hallway!" Kiro said.
"Okay I'll take the stair case to the left," Eraqus said.
"I'll go with you!" Nanaki agreed.
"Raian and I will take the Right stairs." Amei said the brunette nodding as he just returned from escorting the kid.
"That leaves straight ahead for me, whatever you guys do don't die!" Zidane said as he and Kiro quickly ran ahead.
Everyone went their respective way, Nanaki and Eraqus headed up the left upper room. Where was a large machine that though hard to see in his intense orange light seemed to hold the expanses of space? Eraqus noticed a messy binder full of papers some of which were dog eared while others seemed to be memos sticking out at various directions he grabbed it.
"Eraqus look!" He said noting a gun with white light running down it. Eraqus could feel a chill as he got close to it. He read something on a plaque below the glass.
"In case if Fire, use Ice Gun. Not for Children under 12 or the mechanically challenged."
"That's perfect he said reaching for it only for the two be sent flying up into the ceiling and back down again from a blow from a large fire ball. They turned to see two lava boys standing there one seemed proud of the shot he just took.
"You're asking for it!" Eraqus growled. Nanaki immediately howled. Eraqus could feel the boost to his power speed and defense.
"Thanks!" he said rushing forward and using Blizzard edge again on one. He dodged out of the way of another fire bomb.
"Blizzaga!" Eraqus shouted doing massive damage then following up with Sliding dash to make him Dizzy as Nanaki rushed in a large set of energy fangs glowing red almost blending in with the fire appeared around his jaw.
"Blood Fang!" He shouted sinking his jaws deep into the arm of the Lava-Boy it writhed in pain flailing its arm to get him off. The other Lava went to help but Eraqus got between them.
"Ultima Burst!" He shouted blowing the other one back with his scepter transformation, before using a flurry of Blizzara spells to weaken it. The one that Nanaki had been biting had died fading into light the Beast dropped down and finished the other with a Sled Fang attack.
They checked around finding a couple of Children who had been hiding and helped them escape. "Okay I think that's all of them in here. Why blow up the ice gun."
"I think because whoever did this doesn't want anyone getting out alive." Nanaki said with a slight growl.

Zidane was slashing away at the last of a trio of Lava boys the last one was being stubborn blocking his attacks with Fire Punches. Zidane got an idea putting his back against a wall the monster swung its large fist. No fire this time perfect. Zidane managed to dodge just in time. The monster got its fist, stuck in the wall. It groaned trying to pull free but it was too late.
"Tidal Flame!" Zidane shouted hitting it hard in the back making it disappear. Zidane looked around finding a large pantry a couple of kids close to Kiro's age and a few toddlers had taken refuge inside. "You need to get out of here the whole place is coming down come on!" He said gathering up as many of the Toddlers as he could and got them outside where the others were waiting.
Meeting up with Nanaki and Eraqus the three rushed in to see Amei and Raian fighting off a few more Lava-boys.
"Shell," Amei shouted casting another round of the spell, before going to Blizzara. She dodged out of the way of a flurry of Punches as Raian spun his Keyblade around like a fan blade Icy magic coming off of it.
"Artic Mill!" he shouted ramming into ones back. However one grabbed him from behind making him scream. Eraqus quickly jumped up and slammed his Keyblade into the monster's head making it let go.
"Curaga!" Eraqus shouted looking him over. Thankfully the Damage wasn't severe and he had healed the worst of it. "You okay."
"Yeah, thanks to you! That was burning me." He said as Nanaki and Zidane took out a Lava-Boy leaving about two more. One unleashed fire balls from its mouth the other rushed with fiery fists. Eraqus immediately put up a Reflega which did damage the lava boys. He rushed forward and dug his Keyblade into the ground as white frosty energy laced itself around his blade.
"Avalanche!" He shouted catching both on a large glacier of ice before transforming his Keyblade into a mace and lacing it again with Ice magic he swung it around as hard as he could hitting them hard. "Elemental Smack Down!" he shouted swinging the mace putting out several bits of Fire before jumping and slamming the mace right in the face of one of the monsters killing it instantly. Causing the other to jump away only to be blasted in the face by Amei and Nanaki doubling up on Blizzara. Allowing Zidane and Raian to rush in and slash it finishing it off.
They found a little girl holding a crying infant under the bed. Coming out of a corner he had hid in was a little boy that had been trapped on the balcony just outside the room. Eraqus had seen it coming in. "You need to get out of-"Amei began before being cut off.
"That panel it leads to the back room. Lucca and Kid went in there but haven't come out yet!" she said.
"We'll go after Kiro you two should guard the children." Nanaki said Eraqus and Raian nodded The two went with the last three children and rushed back towards to door unfortunately a Lava-boy roared at them.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" Eraqus growled as he and Raian summoned their Keyblades. It immediately rushed at them with its fists blazing Raian however pulled out his boomerang transformation on his Keyblade.
"Twister Spin!" he shouted catching it on the Boomerang which instantly spun harder and harder as the wind it created cut away at the Lava-boy. Eraqus waited for the wind to die down before slamming it with a Blizzard Edge killing it as the two rushed outside with their escorts.
"Eraqus, I'll protect them go help Kiro and the others!" Raian said.
"Are you sure!?" Eraqus asked. The boy nodded. Those hesitant Eraqus turned right back around and rushed off.

Kiro's ice shield had come just at the right moment. Working with blizzard so much seemed to be helping him regain some of his powers though he wished it were under better circumstances he was running out of ether's to keep his magic up. The Lava Boy was coming at him with fiery fists again. It was the last one in a very long line of them. He had to be getting close to the back room. He dodged jumping back. "Freeze Raid!" Kiro shouted throwing his Keyblade. It spun rapidly cloaked in ice as it rammed against the Lava-boy stopping it in its tracks. It managed to knock his Keyblade away and began to fly up. Kiro summoned his Keyblade back quickly his mind having an idea what to do but only a small window to do it as he changed it into the bow transformation.
"Ice Arrow!" Kiro shouted the White Frosty crystal of magic rushed forward, piercing the wing making the monster writhe in pain. It fell with a thud unable to fly this was his chance. Before it could pull itself to its feet Kiro had snipped it again with another Ice Arrow right in the head. He took a breath. It was getting harder to breathe out of exhaustion and the fire.
He rushed forward, breaking down the room just in time to see a five year old girl with blue hair in a braid with various red ribbons, red overalls and a blue shirt come flying at him. Kiro gasped and caught her. Falling on his butt as Zidane, Amei, Eraqus and Nanaki appeared.
Kiro placed the girl down quickly and rushed over. Holding a purple haired woman with her glasses broken on the floor along with a smashed gun tightly by the neck as she was gasping for air and coughing. Was a brown furred Panther man of sorts with a tanned face with Yellow eyes and slits for pupils; He was wearing a mostly black suit and boots, with a gold and black hat the forked cape and rest of the outfit beside him was a girl about fifteen years old wearing a jester outfit with green light blue gradient puffy pants blue skin tight sleeves and big red gloves and pointed shoes with puff ball earrings and puff balls on said shoes. They looked back at Kiro, who could hear the bells on the girl's outfit.
They immediately jumped out the window Kiro following with Zidane's group not too far behind. Girl went to rush but Eraqus had grabbed her by the wrist to pull her away.

Kiro followed as quickly as he could, trying to keep up. The two didn't stop until a nearby clearing where they had stopped to kill Lucca. Kiro gasped rushing down and landing a power slash on the Cat-man's back. He roared dropping Lucca. The Jester had tried to stop him but Kiro landed a kick in her gut before grabbing Lucca and jumping back protecting her in a barrier.
"You brat!" the cat-man snarled at him barring sharp teeth.
"You want her you're going to have to take me out! I cast that barrier with my Keyblade! It won't go down until I die!" Kiro snarled.
"Fine, you will join her then!" the cat-man growled.
"You shouldn't 'ave picked vis fight boy." The girl added, her hand glowing.
"He didn't pick this fight alone!" Zidane suddenly shouted as he Amei and Nanaki joined him. Kiro was glad to see them. The four got ready as the cat man pulled out a Scythe, Large with a round curve mostly black with a gold rim.
He rushed at Kiro who could instantly tell he was going for his neck with the height and trajectory of his swing. Kiro dodge flipped out of the way moving forward bouncing up on his feet to quickly turn around and hit Lynx with a Thundera spell. Instantly switching to his newest Keyblade and the one he found the most comfortable to learn out of the three Keyblades Power Surge. The shaft had a large bladed sword with the teeth a lightning bolt six colored lights make the hand guard a Red lion like Zord sat at the top of the handguard roaring its head upward. The Keychain was made of various colored lightning bolts, with a tiny version of the Master Morpher for the chain. Kiro rushed forward but was knocked back from a blow from the scythe which though Kiro blocked the force still knocked him off his feet.
Zidane had then attempted to use Free energy on him but he managed to cut through the blast with his Scythe. He jumped up. "Glide Hook!" he shouted Zidane had tried to dodge but was hit hard on the shoulder. He fell to his knees Nanaki had used Sled Fang to knock the cat man back before casting Cura on Zidane before rushing forward at him clawing and biting at each other the two began to tumble around. Before Zidane could snatch his Scythe away, the Cat-man threw Nanaki into him before regaining his Scythe.
Kiro quickly started using Physical attacks and Thundera spells against the cat-man as they clashed. "Thunder Surge!" Kiro shouted the spell coming back to him as he rammed into his opponent causing the transformation to become the battle claws. They looked similar to a robotic lions claws, specifically the one he had summoned somehow back in World of Power. Zidane and Nanaki had joined in and started attacking him as well.
Meanwhile Amei was having a difficult time trying to even get a hit off the jester. Everyone one of her spells had been countered with a third level counter. Amei growled as the girl let out a small mocking chortle.
"So much vor your magic little girl! Any svell you can do I can do-GAHK" she began only for Amei to have reared back her staff like a baseball bat and hit her in the side of the cheek with it causing her to corkscrew spin into the ground. Amei smirked resting her staff on her shoulder with a sly smile.
"I can still hit you with my staff. With a pretty good swing I might add." Amei said with a grin.
The girl glared hatefully at Amei charging up electricity. "You vittle brat!" she snarled unleashing a huge amount of Fire at her Amei had barely blocked it with a Shellera Spell. But a few of the spells got through as Amei then dodge rolled out of the way of a Thundega shot.
"Sealera!" Amei shouted trying to stop her from casting spells. But the Jester merely countered with Shellega she then jumped up firing a Thundega shot that managed to catch Amei this time she yelped in pain falling to the ground and glaring up.
The girl smirked firing a Firaga but Amei dodged healing up her injuries she had to focus as much as she could she had only just begun to learn the third level spells now she'd have to use one.
"Firaga!" The Jester shouted.
"Blizzaga!" Amei fired back the two spells clashed Amei had been sent into a tree from the power blow back but she got what she wanted. A huge fog barrier had surrounded the area. Amei quickly rushed to her target using the bells to aim. "Seal venom!" Amei shouted instantly the jester had been poisoned and now lost access to her magic she whipped around to face Amei only for the girl to have slammed the scepter in her head causing her to stagger and stumble as Amei tackled her from behind and grabbed her arms pinning them behind her back. "Bindera!" Amei shouted casting the spell on both her feet and her ankles before jumping up to rush to the boys.
Nanaki had been sent tumbling across the ground with a whine. Amei healed him helping him up but Kiro and Zidane had been sent sliding in their direction as well.
"Feral Cats!" The Cat-man shouted the group was suddenly surrounded in Darkness, eyes gleaming at them suddenly wild cats rushed at them all of them were caught in a fury of scratches being knocked high into the air before falling down with thuds. Zidane had struggled to get up but it was no use.
"It's time to finish you all!" the cat man growled as Kiro shut his eyes in fear. However….
"Cyclone!" Shouted a voice had had never heard a man in a blue tunic and grey pants with bright red hair and white headband had coming spinning and ramming into the cat-man knocking him back. Curaga was suddenly cast on the group as a young woman with orangish blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing light blue poofy pants and shirt with gold rims and a large belt and cross bow appeared. In front of them.
"Lucca!" she shouted.
"She's alive just get rid of that uhhh Cat-man!" Kiro shouted. The two looked at said Cat-man who was snarling while holding his sides.
"Got it!" the man growled. He charged forward with an attack that had him fly at a high speed knocking the cat-man back. He had shouted Falcon Slash before jumping back towards the girl who cast Blizzaga on his blade. "Ice Bladera!" he shouted slashing against the cat-man who was sent flying back into a tree slumping down and passing out. Kiro sighed in relief removing the barrier.
"Lucca!" the girl shouted as she and the man rushed over. Curaga was cast on Lucca who coughed sitting up she looked up at them squinting.
"Chrono, Marle…You're here….and I'm alive…."she said her voice trembling. "I really thought…"
"It's okay you're safe now and we're here!" Chrono assured softly before glaring at the cat man a few feet away. "And He will answer for this and won't get away with it." Suddenly Raian's voice called out.
"Heeyyy!" he shouted Kiro and the others turned to see Eraqus and Raian and the children along with the robot from before and a smaller one heaped up on Eraqus' transformed Keyblade. He was using his connection to lead it along.
"Gato and Mini-Robo…" Chrono said in horror as the kids began crying. Lucca immediately rushed over to comfort them they all hugged as Kiro just took in how horrible this was.
"Who did this and why what were they after and why do this at all?!" Kiro asked himself.
"Hey that Jester is gone!" Amei cried Kiro looked over and found the spot he had seen her out of the corner of his eye was now empty.
"She must have escaped during the fight, guess she wasn't so loyal to our attempted killer here." Zidane said glancing at the cat-man as he spoke.
"Big Sis what are we gonna do all of our stuff is gone and the house is gone!" one of the kids cried out.
"We tried our best, but the house was too far gone at that point." Eraqus sighed.
"They'll come with us!" Marle suddenly said, "You can stay with us until the house is rebuilt!" Kiro felt a strong light from her too even before she had settled down from fighting.
"You hear that?" Lucca said. "We'll stay with Chrono and Marle for a bit; maybe in the meantime maybe you guys can help with the wedding!"
The kids lit up excitedly with cheers. "We can escort you back!" Kiro offered as the three nodded. And with that they were on their way.

"Vis was a Failure, wiv Lucca still alive, Za Frozen flame cannot be taken! How could it be though? History says that we succeeded." Harle snarled slamming her fist into a tree and rubbing the side of her face. "Zat brat…" she hissed to herself.
"There's actually a small percent fail technicality there with that fate thing!" said a big dumb voice. Harle immediately turned. Her hands glowing to see a large Demi-Human with a fat body and more cat-like than Lynx had been. "You can thank everyone's favorite Pipsqueak Sora for that." He said a bit sardonically. "Names Pete and I'm about to offer you a proposition!"
"A Propozition you say?" Harle asked.
"Yes Sireee! I don't know what this Frozen Flame is, but I bet you the X-Blade could do something about it whip it up for you! That and Kingdom Hearts. Now we're in the planning to action stages mind you but we still need."
"A Darkness to slay seven lights?" she asked Pete pointed nodding. Harle nodded.
"I zink I will see where zis opportunity goes." She said with a smile.

"So Chrono's a Prince?" Kiro said in awe as he was talking to Kid. Who was propped up on Chrono's back as he walked.
"Uh huh," Kid replied, "before that they saw this world at all the different time periods. Big Sis said even the land was different because the condiments shifted over all that time too."
"She means continents." Chrono added.
"Yeah!" Kid said.
"Makes you wonder what our worlds were like at different time periods. I mean we know Land of Departure was Castle Oblivion for a while. But we've never seen that ourselves." Eraqus noted.
"Yeah, and time travel isn't just something you can mess around with via magic either." Kiro muttered.
"Well, as much as I'd love to let you borrow the Epoch, it just disappeared one day." Lucca sighed sadly adjusting her glasses. She had found a spare pair of glasses among the rubble of her once home.
"Was it stolen do you think?" Zidane asked. "How do you even lose a time machine?"
"That's a good question." Raian sighed. "
"Ye…yeah, I'd imagine a suspect must be someone you know." Kiro said a bit hesitantly. "Isn't he still mad at me?"
"Magic has its own weird rules. You have to leave your body behind and go only to a time line where you originally existed. Unfortunately it doesn't have to be your own body you just have to have inhabited it at one point." Eraqus sighed. "I've heard science has its own set of rules for time travel too."
"Well that's how complicated time travel is." Lucca replied. "As for the rules of science, you can travel to both past and present. But, they're both treated as your Future going back into the past, that past becomes your new future. This can't be changed." She said a bit solemnly before smiling. "I can't tell you how much of our adventures amounted to either nothing a stable time loop."
"So, Back to the Future is a bunch of bull crap?" Zidane asked quizzically. "Then how did Sora stop Xehanort?!"
"Kiro's Dad didn't time travel before saving Kairi. Who didn't even really die, when Xehanort shattered her; it was a magical illusion meant to hurt him in the worst way possible. And he really only turned her into a crystal Water Lilly after sealing her within her own heart. When it came to the others he brought them back to life. Ultimately all he did was well, retcon reality for lack of better phrasing." Raian explained.
"Sounds like a Save state, in an Emulator honestly." Eraqus muttered.
"Wow," Lucca said her eyes getting starry. "Can we call him when we get to the castle? I must know everything he did!" she said like a little excited school girl.
"He's, missing we're trying to find him. But there's something I have to take care of first. I'll let you know when we get to the castle." Kiro replied.
"We're already here." Chrono said.
Kiro looked up at Guardia Castle. He could even see a town nearby. But the castle itself was massive. Large walls with blue roofed watch towers two at every door. The draw bridge was lowered as they entered. Within the castle itself, was massive with a large lower building a slightly smaller second story. Like the towers on the wall the roofs were a royal blue.
"It's amazing…" Amei muttered in awe as they entered.
Inside the stone walls lined with magic fire were a gold rimmed purple rug many of which were laid at every hall and room in the castle. It looked too made of the finest materials as they walked up to see the King.
He was shorter and a bit crumpled over due to his old age. He had Greying large mustache, eyebrows and hair that spiked out at the sides of his head. He wore a white robe and gold sash with a Red cape a Gold crown with a blue hat dome in the middle and a scepter. He was arguing with Takeshi and Co.
"Come on! There's an Eldritch Horror in the Realm of sleep! We need the Grand Leon Sword!" Takeshi cried out.
"How does he know that?!" Amei hissed.
"Barret passed us all along the message. We immediately decided to come here." Eraqus explained.
"That means; Riku and the others…." Kiro said a bit hesitantly.
"Yup," Raian said. There was the anger.
"Can't your Keyblade take care of it?" The King replied. "The Sword cannot leave this castle until its true wielder is found. One who will keep it off the path of evil! And honestly you don't seem like the one for that task!"
"WHAT?!" Takeshi shouted insulted. "Listen, you! I am the son of one of the legendary hero Riku!"
"The one who fell into Darkness how promising." The King hissed sardonically. Takeshi began sputtering in anger.
"Daddy you're not helping! And that's not nice either!" Marle said rushing up between them. Takeshi slunk off turning around seething in anger while Max and Walter looked more dejected than angry. They suddenly noticed Kiro who had tried to hide only for Raian to Grab and point at him as he held Kiro's arm tightly.
"Where the hell have you been!?" Takeshi roared. Kiro gulped Takeshi realized what he did and calmed down. "Sorry,"
"It's okay, I deserved that, I'll tell you later," Kiro relented as Marle was talking with her father.
"You've already invited them here haven't you Marlene?" he sighed. Marle sweat dropped laughing nervously. "Very well," he said exasperatedly. "Besides, your prisoner attacked some of my people. So we'll be having a lot of questions for him. Guards take him to the dungeon to be interrogated."
"Sir!" two guards said grabbing the unconscious tied up cat-man and dragging him off.
"The help Lucca and her wards settle in, we'll figure out how to proceed with rebuilding after they've had time to decompress." The King said. Several Guards and servants began working on this rushing off to find rooms for them.
"Thank you majesty," Lucca said her voice laced with immense gratitude.
"Sir," Kiro began walking forward. He bowed his head eventually getting on his knees. "Please we need the Grand Leon Sword and its wielder."
"I've already told your friend no." he said before Kiro could continue. "But-"
"I refuse to let that sword leave the castle without its wielder." The King replied.
"Yeah, that's been a priority for you obviously." Kiro growled getting a glare from the king. "The Worlds are in danger! A Monster known as the Dream Devourer is in the Realm of Sleep. It's being contained."
"Then we have time," the King said simply.
"We don't know how much!" Kiro shouted back. Eraqus placed a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down but Kiro pulled away. "We can't wait!"
"You're desperation only tells me you want to corrupt the sword." The King replied. Everyone stared in shock.
"What!?" Kiro muttered. "Are you accusing us-"
"Of planning Lucca's attack to gain to the trust of my Daughter yes," He said simply.
"No! You're insane no! We never even met them! We never even-"Kiro began only for soldiers to escort them out. And with that all of them were shut out.
Kiro rushed to the door banging on it. "Hey! You can't just decide you know us, open up! You stupid king!" he shouted banging on the door before panting. He fell to his knees.
"Well that was a bust," Walter muttered kicking a small stone with his feet.
"There's a restaurant in town, it's attached to the Inn." Eraqus said. "Let's go there to unwind, I'll buy lunch." He suggested.
iro nodded angrily. They headed into town it wasn't long before they found the inn and began to eat. Walter was already sketching the town. But eventually he gave into his hunger as well. And Takeshi was waiting for his moment to strike. "Kiro I was serious about the question." Takeshi said, Kiro sighed.
"I was apprenticed to Corrum. But it was horrible. He treated me like garbage the whole time. His training regiments were intense and difficult and he would sabotage me constantly. And when I did make progress he took my power away. He told me I needed no distractions which yes I believed him. I'm an idiot I know that now. So I missed everyone he belittled me constantly like some school yard bully."
"How old is he?!" Takeshi said in horror and Anger.
"Fifty-two," Kiro replied. "Eventually I started trying not to show emotions at all, just to cut down on the belittling but he and Kaen would always find a way to get a rise out of me." He said as Amei began sobbing profusely.
"That's worst thing ever," she sobbed, "how could he be so cruel to you?! You just wanted your parent's back!"
"Why go with him couldn't one of the adults teach the Power of Waking?" Nanaki asked.
Eraqus shook his head. "Most of them except for Corrum, Kairi and Yensid; One is missing the other is dead so, that leaves the one who used it as bait for a scam." Kiro nodded in agreement. It was a bit later when the group was in town wondering what to do.
"Kiro you can't let him get away with this you have to tell the adults!" Max shouted.
"My Feelings or justice for me aren't that important right now, we need to find my parents and stop that thing before it mutates. That's the only thing that matters right now." Kiro stated.
"Kiro you matter too!" Walter cried. "And what if he-"
"He won't not unless it's to laugh at my corpse. I'm fine, we can deal with it later." Kiro hissed. The group weren't very convinced especially his older friends.
"Did he tell you not to talk to us too?" Raian growled.
"Yeah, actually he did, and like an idiot I believed him. A lot of this is my fault! I should've known something was up from the start!" Kiro hissed. "We're getting off topic anyway. We need to focus on what's really important."
Raian glared at him. "This isn't over as soon as we find them we're kicking his butt hard!"
"Sounds good to me!" Walter added. The others were nodding.
"It's that important, I don't matter much in the grand scheme of things, besides the world needs Sora more than it needs Kiro. I know that they should too." Kiro said in his thoughts.
"Hey!" Lucca said rushing over with a large box. She placed it down, sitting beside them. "You mentioned Lavos?" she asked. Kiro could see that she had a new pair of glasses. Bandages were now wound around her head. One was on her left cheek. Kiro could also see under her sleeve was another set of bandages.
"That thing has a name?!" Kiro asked in shock. She nodded.
"Follow me we can't talk about it out here." She said as she stood up taking the box. She began to lead them through town. The group spread out a bit to avoid suspicion but eventually they came to a small cave entrance.
"This is a secret entrance into the castle," Lucca explained.
"You're letting us back in?" Zidane asked. "What about the King."
"Marle said it was okay and he's been given the reigns her more and more so….It should be fine as long as you don't go near the sword, basically though I'm just here to hear you out." Lucca replied.
"Yeah, dandy…" Kiro muttered under his breath.
They followed her to door that she tapped on it. The Door rose. She then pulled out a gun and focused one shot one well-placed Fire spell light one side of torches she repeated the process. Kiro could help but coo in awe.
"You love stuff like this don't you?" Raian teased smiling slyly.
"Well, how often do you see a gun channel magic?!" Kiro said blushing trying to downplay his amazement, but failing. "Usually staffs or Keyblades do that. Or in some cases your mind is what channels the magic." Kiro said looking at his hands. That was harder to get back. Simply because it was a bit more advanced and needed more focus and practice than say, relearning a move with an element that was second nature to him or magic at all.
"My own creation!" Lucca said proudly puffing her chest out as much as what Kiro guessed were bandages around her chest would allow. "I originally channeled the magic myself as well, and the Guns were separate weapons. But then I thought what if it could do both. It'd be less of a strain on me. So I got to work and made the Ice Gun and the Magi Blaster." She said holding up what they had guessed was the latter.
"The Ice Gun was destroyed by your attackers unfortunately." Eraqus said sadly.
"I noticed," she sighed, "don't get me wrong truly. I am so grateful you all saved me but….my research!" she groaned hanging her head.
"You mean this?" Eraqus asked suddenly pulling out the binder. She gasped happily and looked through it.
"My Research notes," she squeed excitedly, "thank you Eraqus! I don't have to start over from scratch now!" she said happily.
"Glad to help." Eraqus replied. They continued on. They soon made it back into the castle. Kiro could smell food cooking from the floor above them. And if he had to guess they were near the dungeon. She took them to a room near them.
"Lucca, are you sure you should be moving around so much right now?" Amei asked as she placed the box on the table wincing a bit in pain.
"I could've carried that for you." Eraqus added.
"I have to fix Little-Robo and Gato." She said as she began smoothing on some dents on the smaller Robot. Once that was done she began working on the inside of the robot. "Believe it or not working on something helps me relax."
"Little Robo's damage is nothing compared to Gato." She said solemnly. She said finishing up instantly the robot sprung to life and jumped up looking around in confusion. The group gasped in awe. It turned to them.
"Hello I am little Robo." He said. The group smiled and introduced themselves while Lucca got to work on Gato, pulling away at crumpled cut metal with cut resistant gloves and plyers.
"Is he gonna be okay?" Amei asked while Little Robo who had a very rounded shape with a stem pipe out of a tube on his back and a greyish-blue color.
"Well, his main processor and Memory bank are still intact so that's something at least." Lucca said sitting to take a break. She winced a little in pain.
"I don't think you should be moving around so much." Eraqus added.
"I'm fine," she said lying, a little.
"What did those two want from you?" Kiro asked passing her a potion, with Jade coming out of the Earring form to start sniffing around at stuff in the new environment.
"They mentioned something about disengaging something called the Prometheus circuit. Prometheus was the name that our friend Robo was designated with upon his creation in the old future. But other than that, I don't really know what that means…." She said sadly. She pulled out a small pendant.
"But I have several ideas of what's to come." She said. She took a breath and placed the pendant back in her pocket. "I already gave a copy to my friend in Porre, but I know every word by heart. I'll say it out loud because I think you guys should hear this too."
"Are you sure?" Takeshi asked. Lucca nodded before beginning.
"My Dear Kid, how are you doing? I wonder how old you are as you read this letter. Perhaps you've matured into a beautiful young woman, raising a happy family by now? I was hoping to talk to you in person when you were old enough. But just in case something happens I'm writing my feelings down on paper and leaving it with Luccia. Perhaps you already know. Or perhaps you yourself are now also caught up in some historical crisis. As a result of all this but anyway….A long time ago we-my friends and I that is.—Changed the future to save our world from being devoured by Lavos a monster from some unknown world. We still feel proud pf the role we played, in how we were able to so freely change the flow of time. But sometimes, I think of the darker side of what we did. What became of the future that was 'once' supposed to be? Where does the time that is no longer allowed to exist go? It is true that we were able to save so many lives and prevent so much sadness and suffering."
"That's a good thing!" Kiro said interrupting her.
"Maybe but when you think about it, how do we know things didn't get better? Did we also cause the deaths of so many that were supposed to come into existence. In the new time line we destroyed? And caused new sadness and suffering along with the new future we created? That's why I worry that someone might seek revenge on us, for what we did. I've dreaded constantly in my heart, That someone in our new future will travel back in time and try to kill or capture me and my friends…"
"And you believe those two were just the first…" Eraqus said the realization dawning on them. Lucca nodded.
"I tried my best to fight them off, but they over powered me." Lucca said pulling back her sleeve. Kiro could see dried blood marks in the same of five large claw marks. Especially after the cat man slashed my arm. "If it weren't for any of you I wouldn't be here…I'm thinking whatever is supposed to happen will happen regardless of whether it's good or bad…"
"I don't believe that," Raian said. "If Sora can change fate why can't anyone?! My Aunt said every new generation is supposed to build a better world for the next one. Besides maybe you all did was, shuffle time lines around."
"Maybe, but I know those two were from the new future which means, there's an evil there…that didn't exist before." Lucca admitted. "Also, the Epoch was created with both science and magic and it seems these two in combination allow you too freely mess with the timeline, regardless of the consequences."
"So that's how…" Eraqus muttered.
"And now Lavos is existing inside a plain that would allow it to destroy reality. And I can't help but think that's our fault too!" Lucca muttered.
"No it's not! It's probably what you couldn't change!" Eraqus assured her.
Having heard enough, Kiro turned heading out Raian noticed this and followed as he did he noticed Marle crying on the ground Jade trying to comfort her. She was sobbing profusely. "Uhh, Lucca!" Raian called Lucca came out and gasped.
"Marle!" she said getting down to her level. "How much did you hear?"
Marle looked up. "Everything," she said wiping her eyes. "I was the one who wanted to destroy Lavos. And it ended up in the realm of sleep, and now it's going to destroy everything!" she cried. "I didn't want this. I only wanted to save the future…"
"I know, and you're not wrong for wanting that or trying. I knew you'd blame yourself so I didn't tell you. But maybe I should have." Lucca admitted. "You shouldn't have found out this way."
"No, it's okay, we have to clean up our mess." Marle said wiping her eyes. "I know how," she said turning to them. "Take the Grand Leon Sword and find its wielder then destroy that thing once and for all!"
"Unfortunately I think Kiro's on his way to do that…" Amei said worriedly. He left right before we found Marle. Zidane immediately ran ahead, Raian, Eraqus and Takeshi's group following.
Special attacks and Spells
Falcon Strike: A Couple of powerful slashes made in rapid succession at blinding speeds
Blizzard Edge: an Elemental version of Power strike, but laced with Blizzard magic may cause Freezing
Frost Jump: A Special attack of Raian's while his Keyblade is in Lance Form. Jumps up and slams down on the foe with a sharp edge laced with Blizzard Magic
Blood Fang: A Special attack of Nanaki's rams into foes hard with barred teeth restoring stamina or health in the process
Bindera: A Stronger version of Bind, can hold down stronger enemies.
Feral Cats: One of Cat-man's special attacks. Summons phantoms of wild cats and sends them flying at the enemies.
Glide Hook: One of Cat-man's special attacks. He jumps into the air and dive-bombs foes with a large slashing move
Artic Mill: An attack that has the user Spin the Keyblade
Ice Arrow: A Variant of Magic arrows icy shots of magic pierce the foe freezing them and leaving a trail of Ice for Kiro to flow-motion on for a follow up attack
Avalance: The user puts all their power into one icy blow summoning a Glacier to attack with their slash in the process
Sealera: The Second level of the Seal spells. Seals stronger spells away for a bit longer.
Firaga: The Third level of Fire spells sends a Giant Fire ball that sends of flares of embers in its wake as it devastates the target.
Cyclone: A Special attack of Chrono's Spins rapidly and flies into enemies cutting them to ribbons like an unforgiving twister.
Ice Bladera: A Duel Tech used by Marle and Chrono, One person casts Blizzaga on the sword while the sword Wielder crashed down on the target.
Seal Venom: A Combination spell, seals the spells of the Target while poisoning them.
Thunder Surge: A Special attack where the user cloaks themselves in Electricity and rams the opponent the extra energy allows for follow up blows.
Freeze Raid: The User throws the Keyblade while cloaking it in ice. This too leaves an ice path for flow motion and can freeze and disorient opponents.
Curaga: The Third level of healings spells able to restore a massive amount of damage besides fatal damage.
Chrono: One of the Heroes that defeated Lavos and changed the fate of their world. He's apparently a bit lazy but still a standup guy, he's married to Marle. And will become King someday thank goodness.I wonder if he could be the Grand Leon's next wielder. Chrono Trigger 1995
Marle: A bubbly Princess from Guardia and one of the Heroes who stopped Lavos. She kind of reminds me of Amei, but with a much stronger light in her heart it seems like. It was her idea to destroy Lavos in the first place. So now she feels guilty about convincing everyone of this in the first place. Chrono Trigger 1995
Lucca: The Most intelligent of the Lavos defeating trio we have met so far. She was able to craft a super cool gun that channels magic allowing her to use it as both an attack and magic. Guns weren't really able to do that until now as far as I know. She was attacked by Cat-man and the Jester almost dying in the process, she thinks they came from a new future that has an evil that wasn't there before…I hope we don't have to deal with it. Mini-Robo: A small Robot that was based on the one Lucca came to befriend deeply in their adventures, I think I remember seeing pictures of it on the wall as we were scrambling to get everyone out. He runs on steam power which is pretty cool. Chrono Cross DS Version 2008
Gato: A Large Robot Lucca built for sparring and singing in festivals. Not for fighting he tried to fight off Lucca's attackers only to get totally thrashed and called me Chrono asking for help. Probably because of similar hair colors and headbands, Lucca said that his memory and Main Processor were intact. Which is good as the stuff that makes up his Heart will piece it back together again. Chrono Cross 1995
Kid: A Young Girl that lives with Lucca like an older sister or parent. She's about five. She had tried to attack Cat-man and the Jester but luckily Eraqus held her back….heck we couldn't even really beat them that was Chrono and Lucca… Chrono Cross 1999
Cat-Man: A Large Cat like man in a suit. He attacked Lucca trying to disengage the Prometheus Circuit whatever that is. Thinking Killing Lucca would do the trick. Brr… I hate to think what would've happened to her or the children living there if we weren't passing through at the right time. He's a fierce fighter that like Magus, fights with a Scythe but focuses more on strong physical blows than strong magic. Chrono Cross 1999
The Jester: A Black mage who focuses on strong magical blows allowing her partner to focus on Physical ones making a deadly combination. Like Cat-man she was after Lucca to disengage the Prometheus Circuit and may have come from the new future. Chrono Cross 1999
Pete: Maleficent's big, stupid, mean, lackey, I don't know why she lets him do a bunch of dirty work. She might not have a choice considering any better options are either dead, or refuse to join back with her, and she doesn't do it herself. Is he actually doing something right? King Guardia XXXIII: Marle's father a stubborn King who insulted Riku for a fall he long since made up for. Honestly if anyone should have that constantly held over them it's me. He refuses to let us take the Grand Leon Sword saying the wrong wielder will corrupt it. But we're trying to find the right one! And Corrupt how? Isn't it a sword of uncorruptible Virtue?!
