I sincerely apologize for keeping you waiting longer than you should have. But keep this in mind: constantly pestering me about new chapters isn't going to make them come out any faster. Believe it or not, I do have a life outside of this. Sometimes you need a reality check.
At night, the Bellwood Police Department were chasing after what looked like some kind of intergalactic tank that drove on the sidewalk, breaking the streetlights and sending the civilians into a panic before it crashed into an oncoming car. It rolled over the cars with reckless abandon.
"In pursuit of runaway vehicle," the cop said as he stuck his head out the window. "Proceeding west on Pugsley Bvld. near Kline Ave."
The cops then started firing their guns out at the tank, with the bullets simply bouncing off of it. The tank then aimed its cannon at the cars, which sent out three laser beams that vertically bisected the first car, sending its parts scattering and the cops were helpless as they climbed out. It then fired some missiles from its back towards the remaining car, sending it skittering into the streets as the Rust Bucket drove after it with the Omni-Team ready to go.
"Whoa," Omni-Green said as he sharpened his energy sword construct against his gauntlet. "That's some tank, Grandpa."
"It's not a tank, doofus," Lucky Girl said. "It's a fully automated urban assault vehicle."
"You're a fully annoying assault on my eyes and ears."
"You're a fully annoying assault on my nose! Do you shower much?"
"Only to wash off your cooties!"
"Shut up, you two!" Matter Girl shouted as she cracked her joints into place in anticipation. "We're a team. We have to work together."
"Ally's right," Omni-Pink said as Huntress glared after the tank.
The tank suddenly grew six grasshopper-like legs from its frame and leaped through the streets and over the buildings, leaving our heroes in awe as it blasted out its lasers and missiles, destroying several buildings.
"Easy," Max said as he then made a sharp right turn, which knocked right into the tank's legs, sending it sprawling into a building and stopping it in its tracks.
Max smirked before they looked to see the tank right itself up on its legs before it blasted its lasers at the Rust Bucket.
Omni-Pink quickly made a forcefield around the RV and blocked the laser before it peeled away as the tank drove after them and Huntress gulped.
"We've only been living in Bellwood for three months, sis," Huntress said. "I do not want them to be our last!"
The Rust Bucket ducked under a bridge as it avoided the lasers.
"I concur," Omni-Green said with a gulp. "Jen and I don't want Emma to loser her brother and sister this soon after she was born!"
"Whatever this thing is, it's completely out of control!" Max said as he grabbed his blaster from the glove compartment and the team filed out of the Rust Bucket, hiding under the bridge as the lasers advanced.
"Which means that it's hero time," Omni-Pink said as she bowed to her brother who nodded as he activated his Omnitrix... just before Max yanked him backwards.
"Not on a school night!" Max glared. "I promised both of your parents I'd have you home by 8:00."
He then blasted at the tank with his blaster, sending it backwards a bit as Matter Girl glared and cracked her knuckles.
"Sorry, Max. You need us!"
"Well, girls, according to my watch, it's time for an Upgrade!" Omni-Green said as he popped the Omnitrix core up and adjusted the dial before slamming down the core.
The Omnitrix sunk into his arm and his skin turned black and green lines of energy scrawled their way across his body as his clothes and hair vanished into his body and his eyes merged into one and merged into a circle before he struck a pose as he finished.
The Galvanic Mechamorph then smirked as he and Jen leaped after the truck before he found himself smacking into a pink wall that Lucky Girl generated.
"Not so fast, dweeb," Lucky Girl said to Upgrade walking forward. "What this thing needs is a dismantling spell."
"Upgrade!"
"Dismantling spell!"
"Upgrade!"
"Dismantling spell!"
This cycle continued with Upgrade trying to leap forward and Lucky Girl making him go splat with her pink energy walls as the rest of the team groaned outward, trying to get this mission done as Max got knocked aside by one of the tank's legs.
"Are you guys about done?" Omni-Pink asked.
"Okay, you win," Upgrade said as Lucky Girl smiled and then snapped her fingers, dispelling her force walls before she got ready again... right before he faked her out and leaped towards the tank. "Psych!"
"Okay, you got us," Omni-Pink said as she slammed her core down and transformed into Frostblight, flying forwards as Matter Girl and Huntress ran forward and blasted away with their energy blasters as the tank glared at them and aimed its cannon at Max.
Upgrade then glared as he shot forward and constricted his liquid metal body all around the tank as it grew more blasters from its sides and blades from its legs and wheels as Upgrade shot his head out.
"Whoa. Not the kind of upgrade I had in mind."
Frostblight flew forwards and then shouted out as she blew out a strong breath of super cold air that froze the wheels and encased it in ice all the way up to its frame as she flew over to Lucky Girl and nodded as her hands glowed blue.
"Now, Lucky Girl!"
"Mechano Discombobulus!"
The girl shot out a blast of pink lightning that arced outwards and sparked around the tank and Upgrade along with it... just as Frostblight was in the spell's range and she shouted out in pain as the sparks reached the Omnitrix symbol on the clasp of her belt as she fell unconscious right into her best friend's grasp.
"Whoa! Not good!" Upgrade said as he completely lost control of the tank's mechanics as the extra parts completely fell apart... right as Max was underneath it.
He shouted out as he quickly avoided all of the pieces of the tank as they fell around him on the ground and dodged the last piece that just missed his head.
Matter Girl tackled Huntress and Lucky Girl with Frostblight in her hand as they hit the ground and Lucky Girl quickly generated a forcefield around them.
Upgrade melted all off of the tank's destroyed pieces and shot up as Frostblight weakly started to flutter her wings as pink lightning sparked all around the twins.
"Whoa!" she said as she shook it off and then the Omnitrixes timed out and the Omni-Twins were left standing in the rubble caused by the tank as they rubbed their heads.
"Um... oops," Omni-Green said.
Omni-Pink and Lucky Girl ran over and used their pink and blue auras to lift the tank parts up off of Max as he stood up.
"Grandpa," Huntress said as she helped him up. "Are you alright?"
"A few more inches and I wouldn't be," Max said as he saw the head of the destroyed cannon.
"This is all your fault!" Omni-Green and Lucky Girl shouted to each other before growing shocked. "My fault? How is it my fault!?"
"You're the peabrain who upgraded the assault vehicle!"
"Well, you're the nimrod who hit us with a dismantling spell!"
"Knock it off! Both of you!" Huntress said, knocking the two of them onto their butts with her spear with an angry look upon her face.
"The point is that the danger's over and everyone's fine," Max agreed.
"Fine!" Omni-Green said, turning her back.
"Fine," Lucky Girl said, turning as well.
"Oh man," Matter Girl said as she sighed, deactivating her suit. "Can we get this overwith? I have to get to my job at the diner."
"Allison's right," Max said. "Let's get out of here before you guys cause any more damage."
Everyone deactivated their suits and the twins sighed, putting their hands in their pockets, not noticing as the Omnitrixes sparked out with pink lightning.
Ben and Jen rode on their X-321 hoverboards through what looked like a green and pink shaded city of Bellwood with the room through the sky.
"Gwen? Grandpa?" Ben asked the void.
"Allison? Becky?" Jen asked, shrugging.
"Where is everybody?" the younger twin asked as they floated by a gas station.
They each floated around the city, looking for any kinds of life, even in the cars.
They then spotted two figures in the dark cloaked by the shadows.
Suddenly, the figure on the right ignited his flames and revealed the two figures to be...
"Heatblast? Blossom Rose?" Ben asked as they quickly activated their Omni-Suits and flew away from Heatblast as he and Blossom Rose blasted fireballs and solar beams after them with a shout.
"Why are you guys attacking us? You are us!" Jen shouted as she blasted pink energy beams after the two aliens and Ben shot out his energy cannons from his gauntlets as the two just kept on coming, Heatblast firing after them.
They then used their hoverboards to get up a building, avoiding the firestorm as Jen nodded and leaped off her hoverboard and then grabbed Heatblast before she used her telekinesis to toss him down into the firestorm.
The hoverboard then flew after her and she joined her brother at the top of the skyscraper, sighing in relief.
Suddenly, they heard a rumble and saw the wall at the top break in as Jen's Four Arms and Ben's Frankenstrike leaped out with a glare.
"Four Arms? Frankenstrike?" Jen asked.
Four Arms shouted out and Frankenstrike leaped forwards, blocking their path as Ben used his energy swords to incapacitate his Frankenstein Monster alien and the two leaped over him as Jen gave out an energy kick to her Tetramand alien and they got back onto their boards as they flew away.
"What is this? The Omnitrixes' Greatest Hits: Live?" Ben asked as they avoided the aliens as they leaped after them and crashed into the street several stories below.
"Or... is this a prank from one of Gwen's spells?" Jen asked as the twins flew away across a bridge... just as they caught a whiff of something absolutely foul and gagged in disgust as they saw their Lepidopterran and Pyrolampus forms flying after them and blasting slime balls and heat rays after them.
"Stinkfly? Firefly?" Ben asked.
The twins ducked behind an alley and let Stinkfly and Firefly leave after them.
"This definitely doesn't smell like a magic spell," Ben said as Jen nodded.
Suddenly, a hole in the wall broke through and they saw Diamondhead and Stinkbomb glare at them as Diamondhead turned his arms into blades.
"Diamondhead and Stinkbomb?" Jen asked as they avoided the toxic gas cloud and tons of crystals that followed them as they shouted out in fear as they headed to the park.
Suddenly, the Felineko and Vulpimancer forms shouted out as they followed them as Jen shouted out in fear.
"Wildmutt and Wildcat?" Jen asked as they avoided landed on the hoverboards and Jen kicked Wildcat off with an energy kick as Ben flew Wildmutt into a tree and avoided them.
"Who else wants a piece of us today?" Ben asked... right as he lost control of his hoverboard and fell off as Jen quickly leaped off of hers as Upgrade formed from Ben's and they gulped. "Upgrade? I had to ask."
The two then ran through the park, blasting out green and pink energy blasts from their cannons... right as the ground beneath them started to shift and break away as they found themselves on a hand that grew out of the ground, followed by a body as Way Big roared out and left them helpless as the other aliens all gathered on the ground beneath them.
"Way Big," Jen said with a sigh of defeat. "Why did it have to be Way Big?"
"Ben and Jen Tennyson!" Way Big shouted.
"What do you want from us?!" Ben said as he and his sister prepared themselves.
"YOUR HOMEWORK!"
"That is, if you care to stay awake long enough to turn it in," the teacher said as Ben and Jen suddenly shouted out with a start as they fell out of their seats... right as the entire class laughed at them except for Casey and Simone, who groaned out in embarrassment as they covered their faces.
"Oh yes, sir," Jen said as she handed hers out to him. "Here you go."
The teacher took her's as Ben handed in his... right as his Omnitrix sparked out pink energy as the teacher groaned.
"Turn off that blasted watch alarm... and where's the homework?" the teacher asked as Ben looked and saw the paper was gone.
"Uh, didn't I just..."
"Get an F on your homework? Yes."
The kids in the class all laughed out and pointed at Ben as Jen glared hatefully at them with two obvious exceptions as the bell rang.
"And don't you kids forget: your history reports are due Monday."
"What history reports?" Ben asked as Jen gulped adn realized she had forgotten about it.
"Oh man. Being a hero isn't easy."
The teacher took Ben's notebook and rifled through the pictures of the Omni-Twins as their heroes fighting alongside their allies.
"Maybe next time, you should use your planner for writing down class assignments instead of doodling monsters."
"They're not monsters, they're aliens!" Jen piped up as she quickly covered her mouth as the teacher flipped the pages over... to find one of himself in an embarrassing position.
"...Except for that one," Ben sighed.
"You just earned a detention to go with that F, Mr. Tennyson. And your sister better keep her mouth shut if she doesn't want to join you."
"*sigh* Yes, sir," Jen said as Ben took his notebook back and they went back out to their lockers where they took their stuff out.
"We're supposed to be saving the world, not doing reports on it," Ben sighed.
"I know, bro. But there's nothing we can do about it now," Jen said as they sighed.
"Could our lives get any worse since summer ended?" Ben asked as Cash and J.T. suddenly appeared.
"That's a pretty tall order for dweebs like you, Tennyson!" Cash said as Jen glared and wagged her finger back and forth.
"When I get my hands on you, I'll..." Jen began as J.T. grabbed her and her brother and stuffed them in their lockers, clearly not afraid.
"Wow. They both actually fit in one of them," J.T. said as the bullies ran away.
"HEY!" Ben shouted.
"HELP! Hello? Anyone?" Jen asked as Ben smiled.
"Hey, I know where we can get a hand. Or better yet four of them."
Sister smiled to brother as they slammed their cores down and transformed into... Heatblast and XLR8.
"Heatblast?" he asked. "Not what I was going for, but it'll do."
XLR8 then kicked the door open with her strong legs as they got out and smiled.
That was when the smoke detectors activated the sprinklers due to the heat from Heatblast's body.
"Ugh. What a boring day," a kid said to her friend as they walked out of the school.
"Yeah. Nothing exciting ever happens in this town."
That was when a blue blur sped out of the building and a ball of fire shot out following her as they raced off to home.
A trail of footprints burned into the pavement led up to the new Tennyson household that they bought and furnished a month ago and Heatblast walked into his room and sighed as XLR8 zoomed into her room and sighed.
"Why does this thing never time out when I want it to?" Heatblast asked as he heard a knock on his door.
"Ben! Come out here this instant young man!" Carl said to his son.
"Just a second, Dad!" Heatblast said, trying to make his voice sound normal.
He then waited until the Omnitrix timed out as he and his sister looked out to see their parents looking at them. Sandra was holding their new baby sister, Emma Tennyson, in her arms as she looked very similar to Lily Loud with thin blonde hair that their mother had and their dad's brown eyes as they looked.
"Ben? Jen?" Sandra asked.
"Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad," Jen said as she smiled and playfully kissed her new sister's head. "And hi, little Emma."
Emma playfully babbled as Jen cooed her.
"Can you two tell us why the entire house is covered in scorch marks?" Carl asked as he gestured to Heatblast's burned footprints that led up to Ben's room.
"We can explain!" Ben said as he looked at his Omnitrix. "Actually... no we can't. You wouldn't believe us if we told you."
"And what's this that we hear about you two falling asleep in class?" Sandra asked as she handed the baby to Jen, who patted her back gently.
"I'm afraid that we're going to have to ground you two, kids," Carl said as Jen groaned.
"But, Dad! We're supposed to go fishing with Grandpa Max and Ally this weekend!"
"You two spent the entire summer with your grandpa," Sandra said, holding his wife close. "Missing one weekend with him won't be the end of the world."
"Okay," Jen sighed, putting her head down. "You're right."
Rex then walked up to her and barked as she bent down and scratched him behind his ears as she smiled.
"At least I always have you and Emma to be on my side, Rex. Yes, I do. Yes, I do."
"Please tell me that it's the end of the world, Grandpa!?" Ben asked as he talked over his laptop camera phone. "Please tell us that there's a life-or-death alien situation that the Omni-Team has to deal with this weekend!"
"Can't overrule your parents, Ben," Max said as Jen sighed on her camera as well. "And that goes with you too, Jen."
"I wish we had never come home from our road trip," Jen said as she silently practiced her guitar to herself with a sigh as
"Summer can't last forever. Everybody's got to get off the road sometime."
"Not superheroes like us, Grandpa," Ben said.
"Guys, don't make the same mistake I almost made with your father. There's no point in saving the universe if you lose your family."
Later, Ben began typing his history report into his laptop with a groan.
"'First Person Narrative from the Point of View of a Crew Member During the Age of Exploration.' Ugh, just shoot me now."
That was when his Omnitrix shot out a blast of green and pink energy that vaporized his laptop and he shot out of his seat.
"I didn't mean literally! And since when can you vaporize laptops? What's going on with you anyway?" He sighed. "Well, I guess desperate times call for desperate measures."
Gwen's phone rung as she picked it up and sighed.
"Hello?"
"Gwen. How's my favorite cousin?"
"What do you want, Ben?"
"I don't need a reason to keep in touch with family like you and Becky. It's just always nice to shoot the breeze with the smartest person I know."
"Okay, who are you and what have you done with Ben? Is Jen mind-controlling you with her powers?"
"Wow, clever. In fact, you're so clever that if I were to randomly pick a topic, say, the Age of Exploration, you could rattle off a bunch of interesting facts. Enough to fill a first person narrative."
"Nice try, cuz. But you need to experience the joy of research yourself. I'm not helping you cheat."
"Come on. Just do me this one favor."
"No. You can't just expect all life's answers to just come flying in through the window."
As soon as the words left her mouth, a Petrosapien crystal flew through the window and Jen burst into the room to see what was going on.
"Right, gotta go! Smell ya later," Ben said as Jen gasped and looked through the window to see two old friends come down as they degenerated their helmets to reveal...
"Tetrax? Maya?" Jen asked as she noticed a small creature floating by Maya. It had a thick, round, translucent blue membrane resembling a jellyfish's hood. Within this membrane were four red, spherical organs resembling nuclei with red connections. It had three leech-like fangs, one larger than the other. lt floated by Maya and rested on her shoulder as she glanced.
"I believe that we need to talk, you two," Maya said as the two sighed.
"We'll get the hoverboards."
"So?" Jen asked as she floated by Maya. "What is that thing by you?"
"Ridley is a Metroid," Maya said as Ridley floated next to her and brushed against her chest lovingly like a child to its mother. "My family is famous for hunting them, but since an experiment that infused my Mom with Metroid DNA, Metroids don't attack us or our friends anymore. We're kind of human Queen Metroids if that makes sense. So, Ridley here is kind of like my hunting dog."
The Metroid squeaked before flying close to Jen and snuggled next to her as Maya chuckled.
"Ridley, down," she ordered as Ridley flew back to her and flew next to her shoulder.
"Now on to why we're here," Tetrax said. "We received an urgent message from Azmuth."
"The creator of the Omnitrixes?" Ben asked. "What did he want?"
"He did not specify. Only that he needed to meet with you two right away."
"Yes!" Ben said.
"Only problem is that we're grounded. We're not even supposed to be out of the house all weekend," Jen said. "Our folks are going to kill us."
"I see. I guess you don't have to meet-"
"On the other hand, it would be rude for us to stand up Azmuth."
Maya smiled and the four flew down into an open clearing in the woods. Tetrax held up his gauntlet which started to glow as a green aura appeared in the ground below as the Resolute deactivated its cloaking device.
"That's odd," Maya said as she sat down on a rock with Ridley floating beside her. "Azmuth told us he would be meeting us directly at these coordinates."
"Wait a minute, Azmuth's coming here?" Jen asked. "I thought we would be going on another space road trip?"
"Sorry to disappoint you two," Tetrax said as he saw the twins' Omnitrixes sparking out pink and green energy that they quickly covered. "Is something wrong with your Omnitrixes?"
"Uh... no," Ben began as Jen quickly got onto her hoverboard and her brother followed suit.
"I think that we'll go look for Azmuth right now!" Jen said as they took off.
"Ben, Jen, wait!" Maya called.
The two hovered alongside the road as Jen wiped her brow.
"That was close. What is up with these things?"
That was when they looked and saw their Omnitrixes spark green and pink energy outwards that illuminated the night sky.
"That can't be good," Ben said.
They looked to the side and saw a flatbed truck move into their path and Jen screamed outwards as the truck honked and pulled over as Ben and Jen briefly skimmed the truck's length and crashed into the woods, sending their hoverboards flying.
"Ow," Jen said as she gave Ben her hand and helped him up as they quickly ran over to the truck as it rested in the clearing.
"Hey! Are you okay?" Ben asked as they moved to the truck, which had crashed into a tree nearby.
The twins heard a crunching sound and they looked up and rolled their eyes in defeat as a large tree branch fell down and pinned them underneath it, restraining their hands from using the Omnitrixes.
"Oh boy," Jen said as she looked up and saw that through the trees, a Way Big with purple armor and red piercing eyes looming through the horizon and roared at the top of its lungs moved towards them.
"Wow. You look like Way Big, only way uglier."
The Evil Way Big roared and moved towards them in big strides as Jen's eyes glowed pink and she levitated the tree branch off of her and Ben... just as a large energy blast flew forwards and hit Evil Way Big's foot followed by some crystals, causing him to roar out in pain.
"Tetrax! Maya!" Ben said as they quickly activated their Omnitrixes.
"Where did this To'Kustar come from? And why is it attacking?!" Maya asked as Ridley loomed over her shoulder. "I don't think that a Metroid would be cut out for this, Ridley."
"Talk later," Jen said as she and Ben adjusted their Omnitrixes to Way Big and Rainbowgon. "It's hero time!"
"Way Big hero time!" Ben said as they slammed the cores down.
Ben's watch sank into his arm as the skin hardened and turned into a green exoskeleton with the hand becoming black with three clawed fingers. His head morphed, growing four golden insectoid eyes that blinked vertically and his face turned black. His body reshaped, becoming insectoid, as six green insect legs grew out of his sides, two green silk wings grew from his back, and his abdomen grew a large black stinger. The watch symbol appeared on his forehead as he flapped his wings in a pose.
Jen's watch started surging with pink energy then covered her whole body with a pink energy surge, and she float in the air as she spun around then curled up as her body got wrapped by multiple lava-like silks until she was conceal within the lava-theme pupa then changed to orange crystal form. The pupa start cracking then a long insectoid arm with three claws, spikes on the arm and coated with orange exoskeleton smashed of the pupa then her long legs with long thin talons and finally her head, which she matured to a young woman with light-orange skin and wore crown-like horns on her head, has C-cup breastbones, very large abdomen with light-like orb at the bottom tip and a pair of large skin-like wings. Her clothes consisted of a one-piece pink and white bodysuit with wholes for the legs. She is now a humanoid firefly-like creature with the watch symbol on her forehead. She floated around gracefully as she open her eyes, revealing her black needle-like pupils with green sclera as she gave a elegant smile, threw a kick in the air, spun around and float gracefully as she finished her transformation.
"Seriously?" Firefly asked. "Don't these things ever work when we want them to?"
"Oh well," Stinkfly said as they flew in, only to be intercepted by the bounty hunters.
"Not so fast," Tetrax told them as he nodded to Maya.
"First rule in battle: always concentrate on your opponent's weak point," Maya explained. "In the case of the To'Kustars, it's the fin on their heads."
"We'll keep him distracted! You two go!" Tetrax shouted as he bore his arm blades and Maya charged into battle as well.
Tetrax threw out several crystals that embedded themselves in Evil Way Big's leg and he roared out angrily as he kicked him through several trees and knocked him unconscious.
"Uh-oh," Maya said pathetically as she grabbed her hoverboard and flew away from the scene.
Stinkfly and Firefly flew upwards and then smirked.
"Okay, Way Bad," Firefly said as she blasted out her heat ray along with Stinkfly's slime blasts. "Prepare to feel the sting of the Omni-Twins!"
That was when the Omnitrixes started timing out rather quicker than usual.
"NOT NOW!" Stinkfly shouted as the twins were sent hurtling downwards as Jen quickly created an energy platform beneath her and she floated her and her brother over to the To'Kustar's head fin as they gulped.
"Please recharge, please recharge!" Jen gulped as the Omnitrixes started up again.
"Alright!" Ben said. "Now it's time to-"
The Omnitrixes then sent out a blast of green and pink energy again that engulfed the To'Kustar and caused him to disappear in an instant.
"Oh crap."
The twins were sent hurtling down to the ground again only to be saved by Tetrax on his hoverboard as he lowered them down to the ground again.
"Thanks, Tetrax," Jen said.
"No, thank you two. You destroyed the To'Kustar," Tetrax said.
"We did? I mean, we did!" Ben said. "Awesome! Now they're vaporizing evil aliens!"
Meanwhile, Gwen looked at two containers of grubs in her hand as she groaned in disgust as Max came in and buckled up in the driver's seat in the Rust Bucket.
"All set to go fishing you two?" Max asked his granddaughters. "I already got the bait and lunch."
"Um... which is which?" Gwen asked, clearly nauseous from the thought.
Max's phone began ringing and he picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Dad? Are Ben and Jen with you?" Carl asked as he and his wife stood in Ben's room worried as Sandra held Emma in her hands and cradled her with worry.
"I thought they were grounded?"
"They are. But they're gone. You don't think something's happened to them?"
"Don't worry, son. We'll find the twins. They can't have gone too far."
"What are you talking about, Grandpa?" Becky asked. "They always go too far."
The group stood by The Resolute and pondered what had just happened.
"I fear that the To'Kustar's arrival may have had something to do with Azmuth's delay," Tetrax said.
"We should contact your grandfather," Maya suggested as Ridley purred next to her.
"No!" Ben shouted. "I mean, we need to search for Azmuth. Cover the whole galaxy if we have to! Whatever it takes!"
"This suggestion wouldn't have anything to do with you being grounded, would it?" Maya chided the two with a smirk.
"Did we say 'grounded' before?" Jen asked, quickly coming up with an excuse to cover herself. "I meant... grounded in reality! Like real heroes! Yeah, that!"
The group then walked into the Resolute with Ridley following them as Gluto smiled and waved over to them as they waved back.
Tetrax then took their Omnitrix arms and had them hold them out.
"We need to make the final preparations," Tetrax said as he examined their wrists and they quickly took them back.
"Our watches are fine!" Ben said.
"This is for your own protection, kids," Maya said with a stern look on her face as her pet floated alongside her. "We have a long journey ahead of us."
"Just like old times, eh, bro?" Jen asked with a smile as he nodded to her.
The bounty hunter partners nodded to each other as they held their hands against the Omnitrixes that glowed out with a white light as the twins stood in awe.
"What did you guys just do?"
"We'll explain the new feature once we're in orbit," Tetrax said. "Gluto, prepare for takeoff."
Gluto nodded and activated the controls as the Resolute took off into orbit as they looked out with a smile.
"Oh yeah," Ben said. "The two of us saving the universe again. This is the life. No more teachers, no more bullies, no more getting grounded and no more stupid homework assignments."
As Jen sighed in relief, they heard a massive bump on the Resolute's ship, sending everyone stumbling forward.
"Whoa! What was that?" Jen asked as Ben helped her up.
"We've been hit!" Maya shouted as the team felt a massive blast hit the wall and tore open a hole that sucked all of the atmosphere out of the ship... and the twins along with it as they fell through the hole.
"Ben! Jen! No!" Tetrax shouted.
"TETRAX!" Ben shouted as they fell right back down to their home planet and their certain doom along with it as they quickly activated their Omni-Suits as they hurriedly slammed the cores down.
"Oh, what in Cinnibar!" Jen shouted as she glared at her watch. "Work, you blasted piece of space junk!"
Just as they hit the ground, they had transformed into their Petrosapien and Tetramand forms as Ben as Diamondhead and Jen as Four Arms groaned outwards.
"Ow." Diamondhead said as the two helped each other out of the crater and looked to see that they were on an open road somewhere in the country.
"Okay," Four Arms said. "You did say that you wanted to get away from it all, Ben."
"The question is... where are we?" Diamondhead asked as they looked at the scenery.
After the Rust Bucket had picked up Allison, Gwen levitated in a meditative position in the front seat with her eyes and hands glowing pink as she sighed to her sister, grandfather and her friend.
"I can't pick up on exactly where either of the twins are with the locator spell," Gwen told them. "I've tried everything. This is the last place I picked up on any trace of their energies."
The Rust Bucket pulled over towards the clearing where the battle with the To'Kustar happened. The group got out and shone their flashlights over the trees and saw several crystals embedded in them.
"Looks like there was some kind of battle here," Max examined as he looked at the truck that was crashed into the tree.
"Yeah," Allison said. "An alien battle."
"How did that truck get here?" Becky asked.
Gwen squinted before she gasped. "Uh, sis? I don't think that's a truck."
She then crossed her arms and then shot them out to dispell the illusion to reveal a space ship.
"Whoa. A cloaking device," Allison said.
"Wait a minute," Becky said. "Guys, we know this spaceship!"
That was when the four suddenly had a green light shine down on them from above as they looked to see the Resolute touch down by them.
"And that one too!" Allison said. "That's Tetrax and Maya's ship!"
Speak of the devil as the hatch opened up and the two bounty hunters glared at Gwen, Becky, Max and Allison as Ridley floated by Maya's shoulder as Maya crossed her arms.
"We need to talk."
The Omni-Twins walked down the road as they saw the Omnitrix symbols start to beep down in pink and green.
"Finally," Diamondhead said. "We can get a ride without freaking out the driver."
Suddenly, a flash of green and pink light flashed out to reveal... Four Arms and Stinkbomb.
"Huh?" Stinkbomb asked. "Ben, why didn't we turn human?"
Four Arms touched his Omnitrix symbol and sighed. "Maybe it's that new feature that Tetrax and Maya added and it's not allowing us to turn human again."
Stinkbomb groaned as they continued to walk up the road... only to come across a very peculiar sight.
"You must be kidding," Four Arms gasped as they looked ahead of them to see... Stonehenge.
"Stonehenge?" Stinkbomb asked. "We're in England?"
Four Arms walked up to the rocky fixture and laid a hand on it, confirming it was indeed real.
"Did we just go back in time?"
They heard a blue flash of light appear behind them and saw a figure that looked like a Galvanic Mechamorph, only with blue lighting on his lines instead of green.
"No, Tetramand. You're just running out of time."
"Who are you?" Stinkbomb asked. "Another Upgrade?"
Then, in a flash of blue light, the figure disappeared and reappeared by her, sticking a blaster that he grew from his arm in her face.
"I ask the questions, Skunkian. I'm looking for two aliens."
"Have you tried looking in the mirror?" Four Arms asked.
Angered, the figure blasted out, only for Four Arms to smack the blast away and then tried to punch out, only for him to teleport again and create a large block from his legs and slammed down onto him, only for him to toss him back up into the air for him to teleport again.
"Hey!" Stinkbomb shouted. "No fair teleporting!"
The figure then shouted out and teleported behind Stinkbomb and slammed her into a rock from the relic and it started to wobble as two of the rocks fell as she grabbed one and was struggling to keep it up as Four Arms took it as well as the other rock and tossed them back into position, fixing Stonehenge.
"Hey! You're wrecking an ancient Earth artifact!" Four Arms shouted as the figure teleported back onto one of the rocks.
"Earth artifacts? Don't you recognize a Galvan practical joke when you see one?"
The figure teleported behind Stinkbomb and glared, pointing his blasters at her head.
"Where's your giant alien buddy?"
"What giant alien buddy?!" Stinkbomb asked as she let a cloud of gas loose and wormed herself free of his grasp as Four Arms came in and slammed him against one of the rocks, where he oozed down into a blue puddle.
The figure then reformed from the puddle and molded himself into a new form. He formed two large gauntlets with bulbous fingers, large mechanical boots, wings from his back, a glowing center at the chest and a pointed head as he glared.
"Oh boy..." Four Arms said.
"Don't play dumb with me, Retaliator, Tetramand and Skunkian! My tracker led me straight to you two! NOW WHERE IS HE?!"
"Um..." Stinkbomb began. "He's-"
"Right behind you!" Four Arms said.
Retaliator then blasted his energy blasts behind him, only to find nothing there. Four Arms then reeled his fists back and sent Retaliator hurtling into the horizon.
"Man, how gullible can you get?"
"Um, bro?" Stinkbomb asked. "The guy can teleport."
"Oh, yeah," Four Arms said in defeat as Retaliator appeared again and aimed his blasters at them.
"I'm not finished with you two!"
He blasted out four missiles, which Four Arms caught with all four of his hands. But the force of their trajectory was so powerful that Four Arms was sent flying into the sky above right past all the rocks.
"Ben! No!" Stinkbomb shouted out as Four Arms was sent flying.
Four Arms gritted his teeth and turned the missiles around, sending him flying back in the other direction right towards Retaliator, who used his boosters to fly upwards and he fired more missiles as Four Arms avoided them with his strength to steer his missiles as Stinkbomb stood on one of the rocks of Stonehenge. Four Arms then shouted out as he tossed the missiles into the ones coming towards him, creating a large cloud of smoke and dust that Retaliator flew around in, blinded.
"You two can't escape me without your ship!"
"We don't need to!" Stinkbomb shouted out as she flew out of the cloud and whacked him down with her tail as she, Four Arms and Retaliator were locked in a midair struggle as they headed towards the ground.
"Wait,' Four Arms said as they crashed into a crater on the ground as he held Retaliator's arms down. "You shot down Tetrax's ship?! Did you shoot down Azmuth's ship too?!"
Retaliator said nothing as he grabbed Stinkbomb's tail and tossed her into her brother, sending them both skittering towards Stonehenge as they groaned in pain.
"Azmuth?!" Retaliator asked as he blasted towards the Omni-Twins. "What do you two know about Azmuth?!"
He then created two gattling guns from his gauntlets that Stinkbomb shielded them from with a cloud of toxic gas to blind him with as they ran alongsie opposite ends of the relic as Retaliator blasted after them and they avoided his blasts.
Four Arms grabbed a rock from the top of an arch and tossed it at Retaliator, which he narrowly avoided and continued to blast after them.
Stinkbomb then grabbed him as he flew down and slammed him into the ground.
Four Arms tried to punch him as his sister stepped aside, but Retaliator blocked his punch and punched him back.
"Talk or perish!" Retaliator shouted as he punched Four Arms in the gut, only for him to grab his fist and smiled.
"Is that like truth or dare?"
He then tossed him into the rocks of Stonehenge, denting them as they were pretty tough before Stinkbomb came in and roughed him up a bit with her sharp claws and quick movements before the two landed a double right hook to the chest, sending him flying back again into the dirt as Four Arms grabbed another rock as Retaliator flew back towards them.
"Batter up!" Four Arms shouted as he slammed the Galvanic Mechamorph into the horizon, sending him flying back as the two then set the aliens smiled as their Omnitrixes beeped down.
"Okay. Now we can blend in with the rest of the humans before he comes back."
The Omnitrixes flashed out, transforming them into... Upgrade and Battlefly.
"Aw man," Upgrade said as Battlefly started to fly and they looked to see Retaliator teleport back and looked confused at the two new aliens.
"Where'd the Tetramand and Skunkian go?"
"Pink fur? Long bushy tail? Smells like a skunk?" Battlefly asked.
"Big guy? Red skin? Four arms?" Upgrade asked. "Never heard of them."
"Then I'll just have to interrogate you two instead! On my planet."
He stuck his blasters at them as they glared.
"That'll be the day!" Battlefly shouted as she flew a punch towards Retaliator, knocking him back
Upgrade then merged with his suit and grabbed his sister as they teleported away, leaving the rest of Stonehenge intact.
They arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the air by the Christ the Redeemer statue, with its arms open as if welcoming them as they splattered on the ground.
"I always did want to go to Rio," Battlefly said, looking around. "I didn't want it to be like this."
"This is your planet?" Upgrade asked.
"No," Retaliator said. "The Galvanic Mechamorph's tampering must have caused my teleporter to malfunction."
He blasted his static blaster outwards, which shocked the twins down onto the ground, twitching with every breath.
"So, Rhopaloceran, how many aliens are involved in this?"
"Involved in what...?" she asked weakly.
"Is that how you want to play it? I'm not an idiot. Your Tetramand and Skunkian friends all but admitted they knew Azmuth."
"You're... looking for Azmuth too...?" Upgrade asked.
"Maybe we can help you find him," Battlefly said as she pushed herself up onto her knees.
"I'm afraid you two are a little late for that," Retaliator said as he grabbed the twins, slung them over his shoulders and teleported away.
They arrived in Giza, Egypt on one of the Great Pyramids.
"This isn't my planet!"
"Let me guess," Upgrade said. "Another Galvan practical joke?"
"Don't be ridiculous," Retaliator said, gesturing to the design. "Look at the angles. This is clearly Tetramand workmanship."
"Ramses hired Tetramands?" Battlefly asked herself.
"We are so not listening to our history teachers," Upgrade said.
Battlefly shouted out and gave out a wind blast outwards to free her and her brother as the Omnitrix symbols timed down again, transforming them into Stinkfly and Firefly as they hovered in the air by him.
Firefly blasted out a heat ray from her abdomen to blow him back as Stinkfly flew in and blasted out with his slime blasts, trapping Retaliator to the pyramid.
"A Lepidopterran and the Pyrolampus Queen? More aliens? So you're all tracking me now, is that it?"
"Don't flatter yourself, darling. We're the same ones you were fighting before," Firefly said as she crossed her arms.
"Actually, we can turn into all kinds of aliens," Stinkfly said. "It's complicated."
"Do you think I'm stupid!?"
"Kind of," Firefly admitted to herself.
Retaliator used the heat from his rocket boosters to break free from the slime and blasted his gattling guns after the twins as they flew away from him.
"I will get the truth if I have to hunt down every alien on this planet!"
He then shouted out as he boosted closer to Stinkfly and grabbed his tail, tossing him into his sister. They screamed as they fell downwards as Retaliator flew down to them and teleported away.
They arrived back in Bellwood once again, flying through the streets and buildings.
"Why am I back in this wretched place?!"
"Hey!" Firefly said as she blasted a fireball out to him. "To you, this may be just some place. But to us, this is our home."
Stinkfly then used his razor sharp tail to knock Retaliator off of him as he and his sister attempted to flee.
"You cannot escape me, Lepidopterran! Or you, Your Highness!" he shouted as he teleported away.
Back in the woods, Tetrax and Maya were debriefing the rest of the Omni-Team on just what had happened.
"By the time Gluto gained control of the Resolute, there was no sign of either of the twins anywhere," Maya said as Ridley squeaked sadly. "Even a pilot with his talent was barely able to land back here in Bellwood."
"So you just abducted them?!" Max glared.
"Actually, they volunteered," Tetrax said. "In fact, they seemed eager to leave Earth."
"They were grounded!"
"Grounded? As in, confined to quarters?"
"Why? What did they tell you?"
"Knowing Ben? Anything to get out of doing homework," Becky said with a sigh. "And Jen just wanted some excitement in her life after what's happened."
"No," Max said to his granddaughters. "It's more than that. Ben told me that he wished they'd never come back home from our summer vacation. Now your aunt and uncle are worried sick, even with the new baby."
"I can relate," Maya said as she twiddled her fingers. "My mother's a single mom and a Protector. She was always my hero and I wanted to be a great bounty hunter like her. I desperately wanted to leave our home planet too, but she insisted that the job is dangerous. But now, I'm just as famous as her."
"Also," Tetrax said, wincing to his partner. "We... may have altered the Omnitrixes to prevent the twins from returning to human form once they went alien again."
"And they let you two do that?!"
"We never actually told them what the new features were," Maya said. "It was for their own protection. The Omnitrixes were completely malfunctioning in their default forms and we figured that if they stayed in alien form, we could prevent it from happening again."
"So now the twins are stuck in alien form and we don't even know where they are," Allison said as she facepalmed.
"No..." Gwen said as she piped up. "But Azmuth might."
"The creator of the Omnitirxes?" Max asked.
"Is there another Azmuth?" Becky asked sternly.
"That's the ship he created out of the head of one of Vilgax's drones, isn't it?" Gwen asked.
"So, Azmuth did make it to Earth," Tetrax examined.
"But if that's the case, then what happened to him?" Maya asked as they walked over to the ship with Ridley following her.
"I bet that we'll find answers inside," Max said.
They looked at the ship, not noticing the large gaping hole in the top of it.
The chase continued through the streets of Bellwood as Stinkfly and Firefly desperately avoided the laser blasts that rained down on them as they shouted out in effort from the rate they flapped their wings.
"Wow. That's one wicked bug zapper!" Stinkfly said as Firefly gulped as she avoided the lasers.
"I'm too young to die!"
Retaliator adjusted his blaster as he aimed towards the young heroes and locked his gaze on them.
"Time to ground these insects."
He then blasted a water cannon out from his left arm that Stinkfly and Firefly desperately avoided.
"All things considered, sis, I'd rather be grounded by our parents!"
"Ditto!" Firefly shouted.
They were then blasted with the water and crashed into an office building.
"AAAH! We can't fly with water wings!" Firefly shouted as they groaned in pain.
Retaliator then appeared in front of the window and smirked to himself... right before another flash of green and pink light flashed out as Heatblast flew out, crashing through the glass windows with Blitzwolfer hanging from his arm as she blasted out her sonic howl blasting him back as they landed on a roof by him as they prepared themselves as Retaliator righted himself with his boosters.
"Hot enough for you, bro?"
"A Loboan and a Pyronite? How many aliens are on this planet?"
"We don't even know," Blitzwolfer said with a snarl. "But there's enough to kick your butt!"
Heatblast blasted out two jets of fire, which Retaliator avoided and then he flew above them and blasted his water cannon out, extinguishing the flames. He then froze the water, freezing Heatblast in place as Blitzwolfer leaped forwards and held him down with her claws.
"I'll just have to stun yourbutt!"
Retaliator was not phased as he blasted out his lightning ray again, which stunned Blitzwolfer in place as he retracted his blasters into claws which he used to grab the twins before he flew them above.
"Now that I have your undivided attention, where can I find your To'Kustar boss?"
"Our... what?" Heatblast asked.
Unamused, Retaliator extended his claws out, preparing to drop the twins off the building to their certain doom.
"The giant alien that attacked this place you call Bellwood!"
"Oh, you mean that evil Way Big we fought?" Biltzwolfer asked as Retaliator turned them upside down over the street.
"So you two do know where he is. Talk!"
"We don't know! We were fighting him in the woods and he just... disappeared!" Heatblast desperately said.
"To'Kustars don't just disappear!"
That was when the Omnitrixes beeped out again and caused the twins to switch aliens again, vanishing from sight.
Retaliator looked out to see his prey were gone. He looked around the building and his surroundings but found no sign of anything there.
Little did he know, Grey Matter and Frostblight ducked all around his suit and gulped outwards as they avoided his sight before running away in fear, knowing they didn't stand a chance against him, at least not without their Omni-Suits.
Tetrax, Maya, Gwen, Becky, Max and Allison walked inside Azmuth's makeshift spaceship to investigate what was going on.
Max walked over to the weaponry on the ship and glared as he saw something peculiar on the ship.
"A Vanpartiblan sonic disruptor," Max examined. "This could easily blast a hole in a spaceship while it's in sub-orbit."
"And your point is?" Tetrax asked.
"Maybe your ship's 'malfunction' was no accident."
"But that doesn't make any sense. Why would Azmuth want to shoot down our ship? We're friends after all."
"I don't know. I've never met the guy."
"But we have," Allison said.
"Um, I think you guys should take a look at this," Becky said as they looked at the ship's computer to see it show the Omnitrixes and Jen, Ben and some of their aliens showing up on the screens.
"It appears that Azmuth was tracking a malfunction with the Omnitrixes."
"What did the twins do to them this time?" Max asked, annoyed.
"Wait," Gwen said as she typed in a few commands. "I think I found a ship's log."
She then pressed the "Enter" key to pull up a video of Azmuth as he entered Earth.
"Targets acquired," he said as he entered the atmosphere and his computer showed the Omnitrixes. "Time to blend in with the locals."
He then typed in a command on his computer, which cloaked his ship to look like an Earth truck. That was when a green and pink light blasted through the visors and Azmuth gasped and screamed, losing control of his ship as it crashed into a tree. The camera looked out to see the To'Kustar from before rampaging through the woods as it roared outwards before the log went dead, showing static.
"That's the To'Kustar that I fought with Tetrax and the twins!" Maya realized as Ridley chirped nervously.
"You two didn't tell me you fought a To'Kustar!" Max shouted angrily.
"It didn't seem relevant at the time, Max," Tetrax said.
"I'll decide what's relevant and what's not. What else are you guys not telling me. I want answers and I want them now."
"I couldn't agree more," a voice said and everyone looked outwards to see Retaliator teleport into the ship, glaring at the party present as he aimed his blaster arm at them.
"Who are you?" Allison asked as she absorbed the metal from the ship and pointed her blade arms at him while Becky prepared her spear and Gwen readied her spells.
"Where's Azmuth?" Becky asked.
"Azmuth is dead!"
"No!" Maya shouted.
"How can this be?" Gwen asked.
"I think you know how," Retaliator said as he showed them the footage of the To'Kustar attacking the ship and destroying the camera. "Now where's the alien you call Way Big?!"
"But that's not Way Big," Allison said, confused.
Irritated, Retaliator blasted a hole in the roof with his laser.
"I don't care what his name is! I have tracked him across the galaxy and around this planet! He will pay for his crime! Now bring him to me or perish!"
He blasted out his laser beam to them but, reacting quickly, the girls suited up as Lucky Girl leaped in to block the blast with a force field.
Tetrax created two crystal boomerangs from his back shards and them at the Galvanic Mechamorph, sticking him into the wall as Maya blasted out her cannon to him with Gwen backing her up with some spell blasts.
Retaliator struggled as the boomerangs restrained his grip and Max walked up to him as Matter Girl pointed a bladed arm to his throat as she glared hatefully.
"I don't know who you are," Max said. " But you're not leaving this ship until you tell us where my grandkids are."
"Better do as he says," Matter Girl said, her blade arm getting dangerously close to breaking skin. "My arm's getting tired."
"I have no idea who they are!"
"Really?" Huntress said as she walked forward and pounded on his gauntlet, which showed the Omnitrix symbols. "You sure seem to know their symbols."
"Tell me more about these symbols," Retaliator said, intrigued. "What do they mean? Some kind of alien hit squad?"
"You're in no position to ask questions right now!" Max shouted.
"Neither are you six."
A red light suddenly flashed through the ship and they looked to see a countdown on the ship initiate.
"Self-destruct sequence activated."
"You're bluffing," Max dared as Retaliator only teleported away from the group as they looked on, defenseless.
"Uh-oh," Maya turned to the team as the countdown finished and the ship exploded in a ball of fire, destroying all the trees in sight.
The smoke cleared to reveal Lucky Girl shielding everyone with her forcefield before she dispelled it.
"I don't think he was bluffing."
"That's my sister," Huntress smiled.
"We need to find the twins before that blue Upgrade does," Max said as Tetrax nodded to them.
Lucky Girl put her hands to her temples and concentrated as she sensed her cousins' energies.
"That's odd. Now the twins' energies are close. Very close."
"I think I have a good idea where they're going," Matter Girl said.
"Where?"
"They're going home," Maya said.
Grey Matter and Frostblight ran/fluttered over to their home and gasped out in relief to see their humble abode.
"Never thought I'd be happy to see this place again after our summer vacation," Grey Matter said as Frostblight hugged him and spun him in the air.
"We need to get to our phones. Call Grandpa Max," Frostblight said. "He'll know how to turn us human again."
Frostblight flew up to the doorknob while her brother leaped upwards and turned the door as hard as they could.
That was about the point when Sandra opened the door with Emma in her other arm as the twins went splat on the floor as they let go.
"Uh... hi," Grey Matter said, smiling nervously.
"Aah!" Sandra shouted as she ran away from the sight of the two aliens as she ran away.
"What is it, honey?" Carl asked as he went into the room as Frostblight flew around as they avoided the broom that their mother tried to swat them with as she flew through the air nervously.
Frostblight flew next to Emma, who giggled and laughed at the fairy before her as her older sister couldn't help but coo her and smile.
Grey Matter backflipped and landed on his mother's head and she screamed. She then picked him up and tossed him out as Frostblight flew away as the Omnitrixes timed out to transform them into Diamondhead and Blossom Rose as they looked outwards as Sandra looked at them before fainting.
"What's wrong?" Carl asked to see the two new aliens before he gasped. "Get away from her, you monster!"
Suddenly, Maya appeared behind him and gripped his pressure point on his collar, causing him to scream out before he fell down to the ground as she dusted her hands off.
"Hephaestan Neuro Grip," Maya said with a smirk. "Useful in taking down any matter of prey. Especially humans."
"Sorry about that, guys," Max said, walking up from the Rust Bucket. "But a Neuro Nap is easier than an explanation."
"Grandpa Max!" Diamondhead and Blossom Rose said, gratefully as they ran up and hugged him.
"Ow! Watch the shards, Ben!"
"Sorry," Diamondhead said as they backed off and Matter Girl, Huntress and Lucky Girl appeared with Tetrax.
"Tetrax," Blossom Rose said as Maya walked up with Ridley following her. "Why didn't you guys tell us we wouldn't be able to turn human again?"
"Why didn't you tell us the truth?!" Tetrax shouted. "Grounded in reality. How naive are we?"
"You two are so busted," Lucky Girl smirked.
"How'd you like a crystal noogie?" Diamondhead glared.
"How'd you like a magic charlie horse?!"
"You!"
"No, you!"
"No, you!"
"Uh-uh, you!"
"Here we go again," Matter Girl said, rolling her eyes.
"Enough! both of you!" Maya said as she and Tetrax walked up to the Omnitrixes and pressed their glowing fingers to them, deactivating the lock features.
"There. As soon as you two time out, you'll be human again," Tetrax said.
"After that, the two of you and I are going to have a long talk about honesty," Max glared.
"We're innocent!" Blossom Rose insisted.
"No one is innocent!" Retaliator shouted as he appeared in front of the group and wrapped a line around Diamondhead and Blossom Rose, securing them to him as he glared out at the heroes. "Get back, humans!"
He then blasted out to Max, knocking him against the Rust Bucket.
"Grandpa!" Lucky shouted in horror as she and Huntress ran to him.
Tetrax created a crystal sword from his arm and then glared as his partner suited up and Ridley chirped angrily outwards.
The Omnitrixes timed out, leaving Ben and Jen in their Omni-Suits as they degenerated their helmets and looked up to Retaliator.
"You're... humans?"
"Duh!" Ben said.
"That's what we've been telling you all along!" Jen shouted.
"Then explain your connection to this alien hit squad," Retaliator said, picking them up.
"There is no alien hit squad!" Ben said. "They were all us!"
"And we'll explain as soon as you explain your connection to Azmuth!" Jen shouted as she hocked up and spat at his visor in complete disrespect.
The Omnitrixes started to spark out once again and the bounty hunters looked on in shock.
"Uh... guys? What's wrong with your Omnitrixes?" Tetrax asked.
"I don't know!" Jen said.
"Neither do I!" Ben shouted.
Lucky Girl's eye widened in horror as she saw what was happening.
"...I think I might."
She and Huntress ran ahead with Tetrax, Maya and Matter Girl as they ran ahead to the twins.
"Gwen! Becky! NO!" Max shouted.
The Omnitrixes surged forth with green and pink energy that bathed everyone and when Max looked up, everybody but him, his son and daughter-in-law were gone, leaving the two Omnitrixes on the ground by him without Ben and Jen.
"Ben? Jen?"
Lucky Girl, Huntress, Matter Girl and Tetrax all appeared in a flash of light in what looked like Bellwood, only it was completely deserted. No hide nor hair of any kind of human or animal life.
"Ben? Jen? Grandpa?" Huntress asked as she hand her hands on her spear the whole time as the girls walked forwards.
"I'm no Earth expert, girls," Tetrax said. "But shouldn't your cities have people in them?'
"Hello!" Matter Girl called through her cupped hands. "Anybody here?!"
"Forget it, Ally," Lucky Girl said, crossing her arms. "The whole city's completely deserted."
"Hey, you guys hear that?" Huntress asked as she put her hand to her ear and heard a humming.
Suddenly, a green image appeared before the group and showed an image of the planet to them.
"Environment: Earth," the A.I. said. "Primary intelligent species: Human."
"Why do I get the feeling that we're not in Bellwood anymore?" Lucky Girl asked nervously.
"Because we're not," Matter Girl said, shaking her head and never letting her guard down.
Meanwhile, on what looked to be a planet covered in green crystals with a pink sky and with a few moons surrounding it, the twins (who were still attached to Retaliator) along with Maya and Ridley appeared in a flash of light onto the hard ground.
"Ow," Jen groaned as she pushed herself up and everybody looked at their surroundings, completely in awe.
"Beautiful," Maya said, gazing at the crystals.
"Where did you take us!?" Ben and Retaliator shouted in unison. "You think I brought us here?!"
"It doesn't matter," Ben said. "Because my sister and I are taking us out of here, hero style!"
They then went to slam down the Omnitrix cores only to discover that... they were no longer attached to their wrists.
"Wait, what?!" Jen asked in horror. "Our watches!"
"What did you do with them!?" Ben accusingly asked Retaliator.
"Nothing! What's so special about two watches anyway?"
"They're called the Omnitrixes," Jen said as Maya stepped back. "It's the thing that turns us into all those aliens you-"
She never finished her thoughts as she and Ben were grabbed by Galvanic Mechamorph who aimed his blaster at them.
"Did one of those aliens include a To'Kustar!?"
"Wait," Ben said. "You think I'm the Way Big you've been looking for?"
"Virtually every alien species I've encountered on this planet has been you and your sister."
Maya then sniffed the air and started to throw up in her mouth as she looked up.
"Uh... not every alien species."
"Warning," the Omnitrixes' A.I. said. "DNA Protocol Error."
They all looked upwards and gasped to see an entire swarm of Stinkflies and Fireflies advance towards them, snarling angrily.
"Lepidopterrans and Pyrolampi!" Retaliator gasped.
"Whoa," Ben said. "That's a lot of bug aliens."
Retaliator activated his mech suit mode and flew upwards, dragging the twins with him as they were still tied to him. And no Omnitrixes, no protective suits. Retaliator activated his gattling guns and blasted after the swarm, which blasted a lot of them into the ground as Maya shouted out and fired a grapple beam from her left wrist and swung off of a large crystal and blasted a concussion beam down, which blew a Lepidopterran up.
Her pet Metroid flew up next to her and she nodded.
"Sic' em."
Ridley screeched outwards and attached himself to bug alien after bug alien, sucking them dry of their energy and their lifeless husks fell to the ground.
As the chase continued, the energy coil binding the twins to Retaliator suddenly wrapped around a crystal stalagmite and yanked the Galvanic Mechamorph back, sending them all crashing to the ground as the swarm left them behind.
"Don't you ever think things through!" Ben shouted, realizing what he had just said. "Ugh. Now I sound just like Gwen."
"So let me get this straight, Gwen," Tetrax said as Lucky Girl levitated upwards with her hands glowing in pink energy. "Your locator spell says we're in the Omnitrixes? That doesn't make any sense."
"Actually it kind of does," Allison admitted. "I've certainly seen stranger."
"In some kind of dimension that exists from their energy," Lucky Girl confirmed.
They then heard a massive rumbling getting louder and louder.
"But thunder on a sunny day?" Huntress asked, getting her spear ready. "That makes no sense."
"That's not thunder," Tetrax said.
"Warning: DNA Protocol Error."
They looked forward to see a massive herd of Wildmutts and Wildcats charging forwards, growling and snarling all the while as they thundered towards the group.
"Vulpimancers and Felineko," Huntress confirmed.
"Run!" Matter Girl shouted as she grabbed Lucky Girl's hand and they ran away screaming in hysterics.
Tetrax grabbed the sisters and created a wave of diamond that Matter Girl leaped onto and he surfed away as the vicious aliens tore through the diamond like it was nothing.
They raced through the streets of Bellwood with Lucky Girl screaming her head off as Matter Girl dodged every swipe the cats and dogs through at him. They eventually made their way into a dead end and the girls all glared at him.
"Why did you bring us here?!" Lucky Girl shouted.
"Give me a break! I don't know my way around this planet!"
Lucky Girl then created energy platforms beneath her teammates' feet and lifted them all up into the air and she propelled herself up with an energy blast and they all stuck to the wall and they all made it onto the window sills.
"Next time, let the locals guide you," Huntress said with a glare.
"Is this how you guys are like with Ben and Jen?" Tetrax asked. "I can see why you don't get along all the time."
They looked downwards to see the herd of Vulpimancers and Felineko clawing their way up the wall and they screamed out as Tetrax grabbed them again and created a crystal pathway up to surf them to the roof of the skyscraper.
"Any ideas?" Matter Girl asked as they raced to the edge of the roof.
"Jump and I create a portal out of here?"
"Done," Huntress said as they all swallowed and leaped off of the building with the Wildmutts and Wildcats following them with a growl as Lucky Girl positioned her glowing hands together and then shot them outwards.
"Portallus Projectum!"
A swirling pink portal opened beneath our heroes as they all dived down into it and it closed behind them with the portal closing behind them and following up with the Felineko and Vulpimancers going splat on the concrete beneath them and dissolving into Omni-energy.
"Enough games, humans!" Retaliator shouted as he pointed his gauntlet at the twins as he held them in his grasp and projected an image of the Evil Way Big. "Did you or did you not use your Omnitrix to transform into this To'Kustar!?"
"No, I didn't!" Ben shouted. "We fought the guy!"
"Do you two expect me to believe that a hundred foot alien was running around Bellwood unnoticed?!"
"We don't know!" Jen panicked with the blaster pointed at her head. "He just appeared out of nowhere!"
"Please listen to them!" Maya shouted. "They're telling the truth!"
"Aliens don't just fall from the sky!"
Right at that moment, the portal opened up in the sky above them and Tetrax, Matter Girl, Lucky Girl and Huntress all fell in a heap on the ground with a groan.
"Well, at least they usually don't," Ben said with a sigh.
"Guys!" Jen said.
"Tetrax!" Maya said as she helped her partner up.
Said Petrosapien looked up and gasped as he looked around at his surroundings, his eyes widening in awe at what was right before his eyes.
"We're on... Petropia."
"You're home planet?" Jen asked.
"But didn't Vilgax destroy it? With your help?" Matter Girl asked.
"How is this possible?" Tetrax asked, confused.
"Because this isn't Petropia," Lucky Girl said.
"Just like that wasn't Bellwood we were in before," Huntress said. "It's all just a computer simulation."
That was when the pink and green computer appeared in front of the group.
"Environment: Petropia. Primary Intelligent Species: Petrosapien."
"Yeah," Matter Girl confirmed. "A computer simulation from inside the Omnitrixes."
"Did you all take crazy pills this morning?" Ben asked. "That makes no sense."
"Actually, it does, bro," Jen said, showing her naked wrist. "That's why we're not wearing the Omnitrixes. We're in the Omnitrixes."
"The Omnitrixes scan alien DNA. What if they scanned us?" Lucky Girl suggested.
"You mean like the time we ended up in Sumo Slammers Smackdown?"
"Exactly!" Huntress said.
"Cool... only, we're really stuck in here, aren't we?" Ben asked as Lucky Girl removed her mask and sighed as she sat down with her sister comforting her as Matter Girl walked over to her with a sigh.
"So... which of you was born first?"
"I was," Gwen said.
"She's six minutes older than me," Becky confirmed.
The twins sighed before they felt a jolt from above as Retaliator pulled them overhead with his rocket boosters.
"Let go of our cousins, you Upgrade wannabe!" Gwen shouted as she blasted two energy orbs above and her sister blasted two arrows out that blew the orbs up into a forcefield that trapped Retaliator.
Seeing what they were doing, Jen turned around and used her own powers to strengthen the forcefield.
Tetrax pulled out some crystal boomerangs from the shards on his back, which he used to slice the energy ropes, freeing the twins and sending them falling down into the bounty hunters' arms.
Jen and Gwen lowered Retaliator down with their powers as he smirked at them.
"Do you two really think you can hold me, Earth girls?"
He then focused and tried to teleport away... only to suddenly freeze up as he was still in the force field.
"Why won't this teleporter work?!"
"Okay," Ben said. "Enough is enough! We want answers and we want them now!"
"Starting from you, Retaliator," Jen said. "Who are you and why have you been chasing me and my brother all over the world?! And what does this have to do with Azmuth?!"
"Very well," Retaliator said as he dissolved his mech armor to his plain Galvanic Mechamorph form. "Azmuth... is my son."
"Huh?" Everyone asked as they turned to Retaliator and Ben twitched.
"Azmuth's dad is... an Upgrade?"
"I guess he takes after his mother," Matter Girl shrugged.
"I haven't seen him in thousands of your Earth years. He abandoned Galvan Prime to focus on his life's work: the Omnitrixes. Then one day he suddenly returned. Said he met two siblings who reminded him of the importance of home and family."
"Us," Jen realized.
"I suppose Azmuth never thought about how much he hurt the people he left behind."
"We know what that's like," Jen sighed.
"So, when he left to deal with some important mission on Earth, I couldn't bear to lose him a second time. I tried to contact him but this was the only transmission I received."
He showed off the video of the To'Kustar attacking Azmuth.
"And then, I knew I'd lost him for good."
"No!" Ben and Jen gasped at the realization that Azmuth was gone.
"It became my duty to track own this To'Kustar and make him pay for taking Azmuth's life. I followed the energy signal that Azmuth had been tracking to the Earth town known as Bellwood. I tried to stop the culprit from escaping in his ship."
"But you shot down our ship by mistake!" Maya shouted as she pointed her energy cannon at him.
"It was no mistake. My tracker led me straight to them."
"No," Ben said. "It led you to Evil Way Big. But we got rid of him for you."
"Uh, guys?" Allison asked. "How exactly did you get rid of this Evil Way Big?"
"Oh, you know, the usual heroics," Jen lied, flexing.
"We want the truth," Gwen said.
"Okay," Jen said. "There was this weird noise and a flash from the Omnitrixes."
"And it just... vaporized him into nothing."
"What if you didn't vaporize him?" Becky suggested.
"What if the Omnitrixes just downloaded Evil Way Big like they downloaded us?"
As soon as the words left Allison's lips, the ground beneath them began to crack and shift in their seats as they looked around them.
"But if that was true, wouldn't they have also downloaded-"
"Your homework and your laptop?" Jen finished as she saw the two items below the surface.
"Oh man..." Ben said in a deadpan voice as he realized what was about to happen.
"Ben, Jen, look!" Maya said as she pointed to the Evil To'Kustar burst forwards from the crystal ground, roaring outwards in fury as everyone screamed in horror.
Jen and Gwen degenerated the forcefield around Retaliator as he looked towards them.
"That's the To'Kustar that devoured my son! So you two were telling the truth!" Retaliator said as everyone dodged his punches and stomps.
"We've been telling the truth the whole time!" Jen said.
"Except to you two," Ben said to Tetrax and Maya. "Sorry."
Retaliator re-activated his large mecha suit feature and then leaped forward to punch Evil Way Big's head frill.
"This is for Azmuth!"
As soon as he said that, he faceplanted into a pink energy wall that was generated by Jen as she stood by.
"Wait!" she begged. "You don't want to pick a fight with this guy."
"Oh yes, I do!"
He then reactivated his energy cannon and then blasted out two coils that grabbed the Omni-Team, linking the sisters together as well as the Omni-Twins to Allison before the shock from Evil Way Big's stomp sent them all sprawling away down a slippery slope into a cavern below where the battle raged on.
"This is all your fault!/This is all my fault!" Ben and Gwen said over each other.
"Wait a minute," Jen said, not even bothering to break up the fight. "It really is all your fault, Gwen?"
"Yes," Gwen admitted, holding her mask in her hands. "I think I know why the Omnitrixes keep downloading stuff. Remember that dismantling spell I did on the tank? I think when it combined with Ben as Upgrade, it caused a malfunction in the Omnitrixes' mainframe. You heard those error messages. I must have messed up the entire Omnitrix DNA protocol... all because of my stubbornness."
"And now we're stuck inside them. And since we can't use them, there's no way out."
"I didn't say that, Ben," Gwen said.
"You didn't have to," Allison agreed with Ben. "There's only one person in the universe who can fix the Omnitrixes and right now, he's being digested by that evil Way Big."
"We're heroes, guys. Heroes don't give up," Becky said. "There has to be another way."
"Maybe, but even if there is, what's the point?" Ben asked. "All the two of us wanted was to get away from all our problems on Earth. It's just like Grandpa told me."
"We wanted to save the universe, but we ended up losing our home and family instead. Some heroes we are," Jen sighed.
Gwen then walked over to her cousin and then slapped her clean across the face in frustration.
"OW!"
"The Ben Tennyson I know is arrogant, obnoxious, dweebish and doesn't smell too good."
"And my best friend is petite, girlish, a sweetheart. Basically, she's everything I'm not," Allison said.
"Wow. Thanks for the pep-talk, guys," Ben said with his eyes rolling.
"But there's one thing that they aren't," Becky said. "And that's a quitter. So you can either sit here and feel sorry for yourselves, but we're going to try to find a way out of here."
Becky then unsheathed one of her knives from her belt and freed herself and her sister from the coils before she did the same with her cousins and friend as they looked around for a way out.
Jen nodded and stood up as the girls put their masks back on and she and Lucky Girl stood up and focused as they created two energy platforms beneath their feet before lifting the Omni-Team up on them as Allison absorbed the crystal from the walls and prepared herself.
"Hey, Gwen? If we make it out of here alive, will you do my history report for me?"
Lucky Girl shot her cousin the biggest death glare ever.
"Kidding. It was worth a shot."
"So," Jen said. "How are we going to get out of here?"
"I have an idea," Lucky Girl said. "If magic plus Upgrade caused the problem, then maybe the same combination can fix it. Only this time, we'll use a negating spell."
"Yeah," Ben said. "One problem. I can't go Upgrade if we're inside the Omnitrixes!"
"You don't need to go Upgrade," Matter Girl said. "We already have one."
"Retaliator," Jen realized.
Said Galvanic Mechamorph was blasting away at Evil Way Big with everything he had but not doing a scratch on him.
"Come on! Fall already!"
Evil Way Big simply grabbed his enemy out of the sky and roared.
Tetrax slammed down on the ground and created a large spire of crystal from it that tripped his opponent up and caused him to fall down.
Maya ran in and tackled him out of the way as the Omni-Team showed up on the mages' energy platforms with a glare while Evil Way Big hit the floor.
"Yo, Downgrade!" Ben said to Retaliator, who was still in the grasp of Evil Way Big. "Little help? You're our ticket out of here."
"Not until I get my revenge."
Huntress tugged on Lucky Girl's catsuit as they saw Evil Way Big recover.
"Now," Jen whispered to Lucky Girl as both of their hands glowed pink.
"Discombobulus Negatum!"
The dual pink lightning blast hit Retaliator full force and his armor suddenly oozed upwards and outwards, sparking as he lost control.
"What did you do to me?!"
"Hurry!" Ben said as everyone huddled around Retaliator as Evil Way Big brought his hand down on them.
Outside, Max was fiddling with the Omnitrixes in the Rust Bucket with a determined look on his face. Suddenly, both of them sparked out green and pink energy from the cores and he shot back in his seat.
"Whoa! I have a bad feeling about this."
He quickly ran out of the Rust Bucket as a great big flash appeared and the Rust Bucket was instantly destroyed as the Evil Way Big appeared with a roar as he held his head in pain.
The Omni-Team (with the twins now wearing their Omni-Suits and Omnitrixes again) ran out coughing with Tetrax, Maya and Retaliator behind them.
"Ben! Jen! Gwen! Becky! You're alright!" Max shouted as he hugged his grandchildren tightly.
"Is this the real Bellwood?" Allison asked, unsure about her surroundings.
The twins looked at the Omnitrixes once again clean on her wrists. That could only mean one thing.
"Yes! It's all real!" Jen said.
"What happened?" Retaliator asked, rubbing his head.
He then heard the Evil Way Big roar and stomp off towards Bellwood as the team looked on in awe. Retaliator then activated his mecha suit feature and flew off towards the To'Kustar.
"I will have my vengeance!"
"Forget about vengeance," Ben said, preparing his Omnitrix. "It's hero time!"
"Wait, guys! Look!" Becky said as they looked a their still malfunctioning Omnitrixes that blasted Omni-energy out towards their parents.
"Oh no!" Jen shouted.
"What's going-" Carl began before he and his wife were both engulfed in a surge of energy.
When it cleared, they both hit the ground as a Vulpimancer for Carl and a Rhopaloceran for Sandra as they both glared angrily towards our heroes.
"They are so going to have our heads for this sis," Ben said, deadpan, turning to Lucky Girl. "I thought you guys fixed these things."
Carl tried to pounce on his kids with a roar as they shouted out Jen got onto her back and blasted him back with an energy blast that sent him sprawling on the ground.
"Sorry, daddy!" Jen said, genuinely sorry.
Max, Tetrax and Maya grabbed the other kids and took them away to avoid Sandra's wind blast.
"Who's going to bet that we get blamed for that one too?" Ben asked.
In the city, Retaliator blasted away with his gattling guns as the Evil Way Big reached the city.
The To'Kustar roared in rage as Retaliator dodged every swipe that he gave and then blasted out several missiles to him that all exploded as soon as they made contact. But when the smoke cleared, he grabbed Retaliator and grasped him with both of his hands.
He roared outwards and tossed him into the office building.
Omni-Pink gasped and dodged her mother's wind blasts as she created the energy platforms beneath her feet before she heard the worst sound in the world.
"Oh, crap! Emma!" she said as she went back inside of the house and came out while cradling her baby sister in her arms.
Emma cried relentlessly at seeing her mutated parents and her brother and sister battling them as Omni-Pink winced in horror at that as she looked around in a panic.
"Ally! Hold Emma!" she said, handing the baby to her best friend, who held her.
"Why are you giving her to me?! I don't know how to take care of babies!"
"Just keep her safe until we can fix this!" Omni-Green said as Matter Girl ducked and avoided all of the energy blasts, wind blasts and crystals that were flying as she held the baby girl in her blanket as she ducked and hid behind a house as she cradled the crying baby in a panic as she took off her mask.
"Come on, Ally. You took care of Kevin for about 5 years. How bad can this be?"
She placed the baby in her lap and began to play peek-a-boo with her, starting to freak herself out with what she was doing as Emma stopped crying and babbled playfully at the teenage girl.
"Okay, you're actually kind of cute. Definitely Jen's sister."
Back with the others, Tetrax generated a field of crystal around Carl, who bounded out of it as Omni-Pink and Lucky Girl created a force field to block Sandra's wind blasts as she flew overhead to them and Jen gasped out.
"Mom, Dad, stop! It's us!" she said.
"Ben and Jen! Your kids!" Omni-Green said.
"Grandpa, do something!" Huntress said.
"Like what? I'm pretty much useless without my gear."
"Your his father!" Omni-Green said. "Can't you ground him or something?"
Maya shouted out as she tossed Carl off of her and blasted him back with her energy cannon as Ridley chirped angrily.
"Ridley, down! Don't hurt them!" she ordered.
Ridley chirped in understanding as he flew beside her.
"Your parents must be disoriented from the DNA transformation," Tetrax suggested.
Huntress looked around before she gasped in realization.
"So disoriented that they wouldn't recognize their own family! That's why they're attacking us."
"And your point is?" Omni-Pink asked.
"DNA Protocol Error," Lucky Girl recalled. "The Omnitrixes aren't just downloading extra things, they're uploading them as well. That's why they just transformed your parents."
"So you're saying..." Omni-Green began.
"What if Azmuth wasn't killed by that Evil Way Big?" Lucky Girl asked.
"What if he is that Evil Way Big?" Huntress finished.
"We found his ship near where we first encountered that To'Kustar!" Maya realized with a start.
"It was cloaked like a truck," Max said.
"A truck?" Omni-Pink asked, recalling how the Omnitrixes went haywire as they were passing by a truck. "You're right! The Omnitrixes turned Azmuth into that Evil Way Big."
"They even did that weird energy discharge thing," Omni-Green said. "Just like they did before they transformed Mom and Dad."
"Oh crap," Lucky Girl said. "That means that if we don't fix them soon, everyone in Bellwood is going to be transformed into a crazed alien!"
"And the only one in the universe who can fix them is being hunted down by his own father!" Omni-Pink realized.
Carl and Sandra roared outwards as Sandra blasted another wind blast outwards before summoning some roots from the ground that Maya blasted away with her blaster as Tetrax created a wall of crystal to protect everyone.
"We'll handle your parents for now," Tetrax said.
"The four of you have to stop Azmuth and his father from destroying your town and each other!" Maya said as she charged into battle.
"How do we do that?" Huntress asked.
"By giving them new targets," Omni-Pink said as she and her brother slammed down the cores to transform into Way Big and Rainbowgon and placed the girls on Way Big's shoulder as they flew/ran towards the city.
The battle between Azmuth and Retaliator was going on hard as Azmuth swatted Retaliator into the ground and then roared so loud that it caused all the windows behind him to break. He then stomped his father into the ground with a hateful roar.
That was when Way Big suddenly came in and grabbed his shoulders.
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!"
Rainbowgon flew in from above and blasted out a fire blast from her red head that blasted into Azmuth, sending him back as Retaliator was splatted like a piece of gum before he was crushed by a piece of debris.
The fire blast knocked Way Big back too, causing him to stumble into a building which caused a row of others to fall down like dominos.
"Hey, wonder twins!" Lucky Girl shouted as she flew overhead with her Levitation Charm. "How about getting Azmuth away from the city?"
"Don't be a back-shoulder driver!" Rainbowgon's green head said.
"It's Sumo Slammer time!" Way Big said, getting into position.
Azmuth tossed Way Big into another office building as Rainbowgon flew in and shouted out with a roar. Azmuth grabbed her tail and tossed her into a parking garage, causing her five heads to roar in pain.
"Okay," the purple head said as she got up onto her four legs. "No one messes with us!"
Way Big kicked him off of him and tossed him into a parking garage as Rainbowgon blasted a purple energy blast forwards, knocking him back.
Way Big then grabbed the dark To'Kustar and gave him an atomic suplex right through another building.
Meanwhile, Retaliator reformed from under the debris and immediately noticed Way Big and Rainbowgon fighting Azmuth.
"Another To'Kustar and a Rainbow Dragon?" he asked.
He then reactivated his mecha armor and opened fire on the twins, causing them to roar in pain as he aimed all his missiles at them.
"I will destroy all aliens!"
He then fired every missile in his arsenal towards the twins, causing them both to fly backwards right into an open area, collapsed on top of each other as Retaliator flew forwards before he was stopped by the two sisters.
"Stop!" Huntress said. "It's the twins!"
"Where's the other To'Kustar? I need to avenge Azmuth!"
"The other one is Azmuth!" Way Big said.
"The Omnitrixes somehow transformed him into that thing!" Rainbowgon's blue head said.
"No! You're lying!"
Azmuth recovered immediately behind them and Retaliator flew forwards and blasted out, doing no damage before Way Big caught him in his grasp and Rainbowgon swatted Azmuth back with her powerful tail.
"Let go of me!" Retaliator shouted as he broke free of the To'Kustar's grip before he flew forwards and blasted at his son with reckless abandon. "I will have my revenge!"
He blasted away at Azmuth, with Azmuth blocking his blasts before Way Big and Rainbowgon swatted away at him with their intense strength as Retaliator flew around to avoid him while blasting everything he had at them.
Lucky Girl generated a force field to block the bullets from the gattling guns as she and Huntress looked on.
"Please! You have to listen to us!"
"Your son was transformed by a malfunction in the twins' Omnitrixes!" Huntress said. "That alien is Azmuth!"
Azmuth roared in fury as Retaliator glared at him.
"You don't deserve to say his name!"
Retaliator teleported away, hoping for a surprise attack.
Evil Way Big roared as he picked up a building and smashed into Rainbowgon's chest like a baseball bat, sending her flying as he swatted down on Way Big with savage fury. He kicked him away into another building and he smashed him with the chunk that was left.
Way Big groaned in pain as Rainbowgon weakly walked ahead with her four legs, groaning as she stumbled on the ground.
Retaliator teleported behind them as down below, Matter Girl ran up holding Emma tucked in her blanket inside a baby basket as she panted heavily as she took out her phone and placed the headphones into the infant's ears.
"Sorry your brother and sister have to fight like this, Emma," she said, cooing her as she turned on "I Believe I Can Fly" by R. Kelly, which Emma giggled at before she fell peacefully asleep. "But it's part of being a superhero."
She looked up to see Retaliator teleport behind his son and blasted his gattling guns and missiles outwards, which only angered Azmuth as he roared and walked over him to the park.
Rainbowgon looked up and sighed.
"This is never going to work!" the red head said.
"The only way to take down a To'Kustar is to aim for the frill on its head! Everyone knows that!"
"And now he knows it too, dude!" Lucky Girl shouted.
"Thanks for the tip!"
Retaliator aimed his lightning blasts outwards towards Azmuth's head frill.
"No!" Rainbowgon protested.
Way Big suddenly ran in and pushed Azmuth out of the way, taking the hit instead. He was suddenly paralyzed completely as he felt his body go numb as Rainbowgon gasped and flew forwards.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I can't move!"
"That's not good," Huntress said.
That was when the beeping of the Omnitrixes initiated.
"That's worse!" Rainbowgon shouted.
The Omnitrixes timed out, turning the Omni-Twins back to human and Lucky Girl and Huntress screamed outwards as they fell down.
"Gwen! Becky!" Omni-Green shouted as he reached out to catch them, only for Lucky Girl to create an energy platform beneath her feet and Matter Girl to run up and catch Huntress after she set Emma down.
"Thanks," Huntress said as Matter Girl picked up Emma again.
"Make the goth the babysitter," Matter Girl said to her best friend. "Hardy-har-har."
"We have to stop those two! And we're not charged!" Omni-Pink said as she prepared her energy swords from her gauntlets and Ben prepared his blasters.
"Hang on!" Lucky Girl said as she and her cousin levitated the Omni-Team upwards on energy platforms.
Retaliator blasted his gattling guns towards Azmuth before they were stopped by an energy shield that Lucky Girl generated as Omni-Pink smirked to her.
"You're getting really good at using my powers," she said.
"I'll never have your skill," Lucky Girl said.
"I don't want to shoot you, kids," Retaliator said.
"Then how about you give us a chance to prove that this is Azmuth?" Omni-Green asked.
"Ready?" Lucky Girl asked Omni-Pink as they both put their hands to their temples and two tendrils snaked out of them, as they wrapped around Azmuth's head and he groaned outwards.
"What are you doing?"
"It's called telepathy," Omni-Pink explained as her eyes glowed pink. "We're going to try to access his mind."
Azmuth groaned as he tried to swat them away, only for them to fly back.
"Azmuth, please, listen," Matter Girl said as she tried desperately hard to keep Emma asleep in the basket.
"We just need you to fix the malfunction in the Omnitrixes!" Huntress called.
"Om...ni...trixes..." Azmuth groaned.
"Azmuth?" Retaliator asked.
"Father...?"
Azmuth then reached out and grabbed the team, holding them in his grasp as they looked out, confused as he picked up Emma with his pinkie and placed her on the ground.
"No!" Retaliator shouted as he blasted forwards only for Azmuth to grab him with his left hand.
The twins wriggled their left arms out of Azmuth's grasp as he reached out and Retaliator's liquid metal substance then oozed onto the Omnitrixes as they looked confused.
"Azmuth, please! It's not their fault! Don't make me hurt them!"
Jen looked as the black and blue substance oozed all around her Omnitrix and Ben's as she looked down.
"He's using you as a weapon?"
"Not as a weapon," Huntress said. "As a toolkit."
"He's trying to fix the Omnitrixes," Matter Girl realized.
Soon, he was finished and the Omnitrixes flashed out red and purple, engulfing Azmuth and causing him to disappear and the Omni-Team fell down to the ground as Omni-Pink and Lucky Girl both shot their arms out and created energy platforms beneath the team's feet as they levitated up to Retaliator's level.
"What did you do?"
"I didn't do anything," Retaliator said. "He did."
He gestured behind him and immediately noticed that Azmuth wasn't there.
"You know, I'm seriously reconsidering the whole letting you two keep my Omnitrixes deal," they heard as they saw Azmuth down below next to Emma smiling at the team.
"Azmuth!" the team said as they leaped down to him and Jen picked him up.
"You're alive!"
"No thanks to you two," Azmuth said, tapping her Omnitrix. "These things were so overloaded with mana, Myaxx and I could pick up the reading from halfway across the galaxy."
"Overloaded with what?" Gwen asked as she and the others walked up.
"They haven't told you girls yet? Eh, you two will find out soon enough."
"What did he mean by that?" Jen asked her cousin confused as she looked down.
"So I ship myself all the way to Earth to defrag the Omnitrixes and what thanks do I get? You turn me into a raging To'Kustar! I should've just stayed in bed this morning."
"Son," Retaliator said. "I almost vaporized you. How could I have been so blinded by rage? I'm a terrible father."
"I... haven't exactly been the greatest son either, Dad. I always let my inventions come before family. Speaking of which I probably should've told you to stay away from that Mechamorph armor."
Azmuth pressed a key and Retaliator's suit suddenly folded in on itself and melded into a cube with a Galvan holding it beside him.
"You mean we were hunted all over the world by a Grey Matter in an Upgrade suit?" Ben asked.
"Of course," Allison sighed. "He's Azmuth's dad."
"What were you expecting? Another Way Big?" Gwen said.
"Okay, so why does your dad look younger than you?" Jen asked.
"You kids have a lot to learn about Galvans."
"Can you ever forgive me, son?"
"Can you forgive me for skipping out on you?"
"Oh, son. I already have."
"Then lets call ourselves even," Azmuth said, hopping down and taking the armor. "And let this be a lesson. Never mess with Mechamorph Armor. All it does is pump up the wearer's aggression. Turns them into a single-minded weapon of destruction."
"Don't we know it," Ben said as Jen chuckled and jabbed his shoulder.
"Now let's go home before anyone else breaks anything else."
"Wait," Jen said to the Galvan. "There's one more thing we need you to take care of."
"We... may have turned our parents into aliens."
"Oi," Azmuth groaned.
Carl growled and tried to pounce on his son, but Maya ran in and slammed him backwards with her powerful kick, causing him to fly into his wife as he growled towards her.
"Son, no!" Max said as the bounty hunters held him back.
Suddenly, Azmuth in the Mechamorph armor teleported in with the Omni Team as he melded the armor with the Omnitrixes as Ben and Jen smirked.
"Now!" Allison said.
"Mechano Discombobulus!"
The improved dismantling spell blasted outwards, augmented by the armor and blasted towards Carl and Sandra, turning them back to human form after a few seconds.
"Now, hide!" Jen said to Azmuth, Tetrax and Maya as they ran away from the sight.
"Ben, Jen," Sandra said to her kids as Allison handed her baby girl back to them.
"Where in the world were you two? We've been looking everywhere for you two," Carl said.
"Well, we..." Ben said, rubbing his arm as his mom smiled at him.
"Your grandfather's here to take you kids fishing."
Max then smiled innocently as Jen gasped.
"You mean we're not grounded?"
"Hmm," Sandra pondered. "Honey, I don't remember grounding the twins. Do you, Carl?"
Carl shrugged as Sandra took Emma and led her back in the house.
"Phew," Ben said. "That was a close one."
"Where's the RV, Dad?" Carl asked as Max gasped. "You park it around the corner?"
Max quickly gave a thumbs-up as his son and daughter in law went inside with his new granddaughter.
"I think going alien may have scrambled their memories a bit."
"At least that malfunction was good for something," Ben whispered as they looked at the wreckage of the Rust Bucket.
Azmuth, Tetrax and Maya walked back into the clearing once the coast was clear.
"I don't know what you did, but thanks," Max said, shaking Azmuth's hand as he revealed himself, taking off the armor as Ben revealed his father.
"Max Tennyson. I've heard a lot about you from your ex-girlfriend. What was her name? Xylene?"
"Azmuth?" Max asked.
"You're-" Maya began.
"Yeah, yeah yeah. The kids will tell you the whole story later. Come on, Dad. We've got a home and family to get back to."
"I'm just glad you're all safe, kids," Max said, hugging them close and looked upon the wreckage. "Though it looks like no one will be going fishing this weekend."
"This is all my fault," Ben, Jen and Gwen all said, overlapping each other before turning to each other. "Your fault? How is it your fault?"
"Our Omnitrixes trashed the Rust Bucket," Jen said.
"That was only because my dismantling spell caused the problem to begin with."
"Oh for the love of!" Allison said. "Do you guys ever stop arguing?! Now you're arguing over why it's your own faults?!"
Azmuth agreed and reactivated the Mechamorph armor and merged with the wreckage of the Rust Bucket, before manipulating and reforming it back to its normal form before demerging with it.
"Let's go home, Dad," Azmuth said as he teleported the two of them away.
"Home," Ben said as he and Jen looked out at it. "We almost lost ours for good."
"Now that you kids are in the clear with your parents, I guess there's room in the Rust Bucket for a weekend road trip."
"No, Grandpa" Jen sighed, shaking her head. "We don't deserve it."
"We never should've run out on our folks," Ben said. "You said it yourself: no point in saving the universe if you lose your family."
"We've learned our lesson. Trust us," Jen said. "It won't happen again."
"Good," Allison said. "I've had about as much excitement as I can take for awhile."
"Our work is done here, partner," Tetrax said as he turned to leave and Maya smiled upon the kids.
"See you kids later."
"Bye, Maya," Becky said as they hugged and Ridley cuddled up to Jen and she smiled.
"You too, Ridley."
"Imagine you had the opportunity to travel to strange new worlds and encounter alien life forms," Ben said in his presentation with the other kids and his sister watching. "Imagine leaving your own world, embarking on a dangerous journey from which you may never return. I know, it sounds like science-fiction. But that's what it must have been like to be a crew member during the Age of Exploration. So ask yourselves this question: would you choose to leave your home, your family and friends in exchange for the adventure of a lifetime? I know I would. But only during summer vacation. And I'd still want some family by my side."
The Omni-Team drove upwards in the Rust Bucket with Allison smiling.
"It's nice to have a normal life once in awhile," she said.
That was when they suddenly saw the mutant frog with Doctor Animo appear in the road and the Rust Bucket pulled over to him and he smiled down on them.
"You're going to wish you had stayed home this time, Tennyson Twins!"
"No. I'm thinking you are, Animo," Jen said as everyone prepared themselves and she and Ben slammed down the cores.
