Mr. Collins have been here for a while now. I have been trying to stay away from him as much as I could. I feel like if I stay near him or anything, I would kill him. He has been getting on my last nerve. But I think I have figured out why Mr. Collins is here.
I was sitting in the dining room for breakfast. All my sisters were sitting at the table with me. My mother was sitting at the head. Just then Mr. Collins came in. He just stood there. What is this all about?
"I have announcement. I have come here for reasons. The reason is to find a wife. I was thinking it would be one of you. I have decided. Jane if you could…" Mr. Collins was saying then my mother interrupted.
"Oh, Mr. Collins, I am sorry. But Jane is already being called for. We are hoping a proposal very soon." She told him.
"Oh really? They are no going around it?" He asked.
"No. The early bird gets the worm. But Lizzy is single and not being called for." My mother said.
I shot her death glares. What is she thinking? She knows this won't be a man I want to be with. She just wants to get me out of her hair. What she does know the truth.
"Yes. She may not be as pretty as the other one. But she will do." He said out loud like I wasn't even there.
You don't know how much strength not taking my folk and killing him with it. I will not be with him. Not ever. She is crazy.
I just got up and left. I didn't even say a word. I just went to my room. I grabbed my phone and texted Darcy.
We need to talk. I am going to be killing my mother or Collins.
I then throw my phone to my bed. I got changed. I heard a knock on my door. I grabbed one of my knifes that was sitting on my desk. Just then Jane entered my room. I put my knife down. She shut the door behind her.
"Are you okay?" She asked me.
"I am fine. But I don't know about our mother or Collins." I told her.
Just then my phone buzzed. I picked it up to see a text from Darcy. I opened it to read.
Why? What happened?
I found out why he is.
Why is he there?
Call me please? I rather talk over the phone then text.
Just then my phone started to ring, and Darcy's name came up. I pressed the answer button. I then said,
"Hey. You are on speaker and Jane is in the room."
"That's fine. What's going on? Why are you thinking of killing your mother or Collins?" Darcy asked.
"Well, Mr. Collins is here to find a wife and he was looking at one of us. He wanted Jane but my mother told him no that she is hoping for other arrangements you know what I mean. Then she said that I was single and pretty much available. Like I wasn't even sitting there. He said I was pretty but at as pretty as Have that I will do." I rented to Darcy on the phone.
"He has no chance. He would die first. I say go head. I will bail you out." He told me jokingly.
"Thanks Darcy." I said.
"Our mother is just obsessed with her daughters married to rich men or out of the house." I stated.
"She only wants what is the best for us. Mostly, when Mr. Collins owns everything after fathers dies." Jane said.
"I don't want to be rude or anything. But your mother should be proud to have five beautiful strong warriors as daughters. One day you guys will find men that will except you for you. You will get married and be happy." Darcy said.
I didn't know what to say to that. It was the best thing I ever heard. He was thinking the same thing I always said. But he put it in better words.
"Thank you, Darcy. Just our mother sees stuff in a different away." Jane said.
"Yes. I have noticed." He said.
"Well, I will talk to you later. I am going to go throw knifes at something until I feel better." I told him.
"Okay. Talk to you later. I will see you ladies that school on Monday or any sooner." He said.
We then handed up. I got changed and Jane did the same. We then went to train for a bit. Also, help me cool down to face Mr. Collins or our mother again.
