March 23, 2014

On a warm day, the Tortuga stands in a clearing of a forest in Florida. And inside the HQ room, they were doing their own thing as Amber was laying down for a nap after being fed.

Martin was busy fiddling with a fidget spinner, and then turns to Amber as she was asleep. But it was then that he thought of something that may be a concern.

Every since they had her, Amber was being with them, and interacts with other social animals like lions, wolves and even elephants. But in all of Amber's life, she has never actually seen another one of her own kind: another Velociraptor. He knew well that they'll be returning Amber sometime by next year, but Martin feels that if Amber doesn't truly know how to interact with other raptors, things could turn nasty for her.

Things that could lead to a fight, that may prove fatal.

He then thinks for a moment of what to do, and then an idea came to him that might work and solve the problem.

At night, Martin brought the others in the garage calling in a meeting.

"I was just thinking earlier today, and I realized that Amber has never seen another raptor in her entire life." Martin said.

"Is that a problem? Aviva asked.

"Well, Amber has never any problems of socializing with other animals. Chris said. "But that was with lions and wolves."

"Maybe we can reconnect Amber with her raptor-self somehow." Martin said.

"But how?" Koki asked.

"Yeah, it's not like we can go and look for other Velociraptors." Jimmy said.

Jimmy then saw the look Martin had.

"Can we?" Jimmy frowned.

"Actually. There is 1 place." Martin said.

"There is?" Aviva blinked.

Martin then worked on his CreaturePod, and soon a holographic screen was shown with map of an island, 87 miles southwest of Isla Nublar, and 207 miles west of Costa Rica. And it is very well known some with 2 incidents back in 1997 and 2001.

Site B.

Isla Sorna.

"This is the only other place we can go: Isla Sorna." Martin said.

"Sorna? Wait a minute, I've heard of that place." Aviva said.

"Me too." Koki said. "That's where they kept the animals there before moving to Nublar in the days of Jurassic Park."

"You mean there are 2 islands with dinosaurs on them?" Jimmy said.

"Yes." Chris said. "So it's highly likely there are Velociraptors."

"But that placed is restricted." Jimmy said. "How are we gonna sneak over there?"

"We should at least try." Aviva said.

It's a team decision. But will it work?

The next day, the Tortuga flies through the air high among the clouds over the Pacific enroute to Isla Sorna.

In the cockpit, Jimmy was at the controls as Koki looked at her tablet.

"Okay, it should be smooth flying when we get to Sorna." Koki said.

"Good." Aviva said. "So, how exactly are we getting in?"

"As soon as we near the island, we'll fly in low enough." Koki said.

"So how long before we get there?" Chris said.

"Should be for a couple hours." Aviva said.

"Good." Martin said and leans back in a chair. "Wake me when we get there."

The Tortuga continues flying through the clouds.

Sometime later, Martin woke up and strangely found no one in the cockpit.

Then purring was heard as Martin looked to his left and saw a Velociraptor in the chair next to him.

"Martin." It said in Chris' voice.

Martin gasped waking up from the sudden dream.

"Martin." Chris said. "Wake up, we're almost there."

"Oh." Martin said calming his nerves. "Uh, good."

(BG Music: Dinosaur Fly-By by Don Davis: Jurassic Park III)

"This is you captain, we are now approaching Isla Sorna." Jimmy announced. "Hope you enjoyed your flight, on Wild Kratts Air. Where even turtles fly."

The Tortuga flew as it nears Isla Sorna and starts descending. And soon they flew by large peaks sticking out of the oceans and flew over the island's forest and through it's mountainous valleys.

They soon looked out through the windows and looked below as there was a lush forest with a river flowing through it. The Tortuga continues flying as it was a few hundred in the air as it soon flew pass the forest and towards a large clearing.

And it was then that Chris and Martin spotted something below.

On the meadow below, was a Triceratops and 2 Corythosaurus peacefully roaming in their primeval home.

"Incredible." Martin said.

They all watched in amazement as even Amber watched with great interest.

The Tortuga flew over the plain as dozens of dinosaurs in herds roamed as there was Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Corythosaurus, Parasaurolophus, and the largest, the towering Brachiosaurus.

"This is beautiful." Aviva said amazed by the wildlife spectacle below.

"Yeah, look." Chris said watching something on the left of the Tortuga. "A whole herd of Brachiosaurus. And it seems that one further away might be the alpha male." He watched a herd of feeding Brachiosaurus as one stood further away having a whole tree to himself.

"Yeah, I see a herd of Triceratops." Koki said looking out the right window.

"Guys, we have a landing strip up ahead." Jimmy said. "We should we land?"

They soon saw the landing strip as they near it.

"I guess it's okay to land now." Koki said. "Jimmy, set her down."

"Aye, captain." Jimmy said.

The Tortuga soon descends and shifts to hover mode, and finally lands on the ground as the garage door opened as they looked around.

"See anything?" Aviva asked.

"Looks all clear." Chris said.

The ramp then extends to the ground as they headed down and looked around the landscape. And they saw the nearby abandoned sheds and Jeeps by the trees.

"This is place sure seems creepy." Koki said.

"Yeah." Martin agreed. "Kinda strange to be on an island with no people."

Amber looked around the landscape as well, and she sniffs the air as the landscape was both strange, yet uncannily familiar to her.

"Well Amber definitely seems interested with this place." Chris said.

Amber continues sniffing the air as he was starting to get a sense on the area.

"Okay, Amber, before you head off, let's put this on you." Martin said placing a head harness on Amber's head a camera on the side. "That way we can see what you'll see."

Amber then lightly chirped and trots off to the treeline.

"Well, I think we should set up a perimeter and check the place out." Koki said.

In the trees, Amber was exploring the area getting a sense of her surroundings as she sniffs the air.

Her sensitive nose is already picking up a series of scents, strange and new, but oddly familiar to her. Yet there was a particular scent that seemed to get her attention.

Amber starts to adopt a slower more cautious pace as she was in unfamiliar territory. She then nears a tree and sniffs the base of it as it she picked up a strong-pungent odor. Amber hissed as she backed away as she was familiar with the scent.

It was a warning mark.

Large predators leave scent marks on the borders of their home territories to keep potential rivals out. Lions, tigers, wolves do the same thing to keep other animals away. A message that other predators use to keep rivals away from their supply of food, and home.

Amber's instincts then told her that she has stumbled in the territory of a large predator.

The question is; who's turf does this belong to?

Amber then sniffs the air feeling she wasn't alone in the area, and faintly picks up the scent and presence of another animal nearby. In the low light of the shadowed forest, Amber has her scents firing at full strength, ready to run at the smallest hint of a threat.

She wanders further into the forest following her nose, and then nears some dense vegetation and then picks up a scent and it was relatively fresh.

Then, a wet substance lands in front of her landing on a root as she turns to it. She watches it as it didn't look like rain water and sniffs if as it oozes off the root, and she saw it was saliva.

Realizing she wasn't alone, Amber then looked up as low growling as heard.

Among the branches, a large head was craning into view as a green eye was seem with a gleaming row of teeth.

At the Tortuga, Koki was busy mapping out the area.

"Okay, seems like it's an area of forest." Koki said. "And a few clearings as well."

"Hmm. I wonder what else is around here." Chris said.

Then suddenly a loud roar resonates and echoes out through the air as the Wild Kratts froze.

"What was that?" Aviva said looking through the window.

"Whatever it was, it sounds big." Martin said.

They were getting the feeling they weren't alone in this area, and then screeching was heard as Amber came running out of the forest.

"Amber, what's the matter?" Chris asked.

Another loud roar echoes through the air.

"Whatever that is, I'm not sticking around to find out." Jimmy said and runs off.

"Go! Go! Hurry!" Martin said quickly.

They quickly rushed into the Tortuga as then the garage door closed.

Jimmy quickly got to the cockpit and starts the engine, and soon got into hover mode and turns around.

The Tortuga quickly gains speed as it hurries over the airstrip.

"See anything in there?" Koki asked.

"I can't tell." Chris said. "It could be anything."

Jimmy looked to his right looking out the windows trying to see what frightening Amber. He then looks ahead and then he suddenly screamed seeing something large.

"Holy Mother of Megazod!" Jimmy exclaimed pulling the controls back.

The Tortuga pulls up as a large creature in gray scales suddenly appeared from nowhere to avoid hitting it. But the left wing grazes the creature's sail-like structure on it's back.

An alarm blared as the graze was enough for the Tortuga to lose control.

"We're going now!" Jimmy yelled.

The Tortuga soars through the air and into the forest as branches were broke clean off as the aircraft glides through the trees. And then the windshield cracked as the right wing clips a tree in 2 and a shell panel broke as the Tortuga hits against a tree as the Tortuga comes to a full stop.

Inside, they all regain consciousness as they got sat up, shaken, but relieved to be alive.

"Everyone okay?" Martin asked.

"Yeah." Jimmy said.

"Oh, man." Koki said rubbing her head. "We're gonna be lucky to get the power working again.

The sunroof opened as Chris peaked out, and soon saw they were in the air held up by branch holding the Tortuga for the moment.

"We haven't landed yet." Chris said.

"Okay, let's just another way." Aviva suggested.

In the cockpit, Jimmy turns the master key trying to see if he can start the Tortuga again.

"Come on." Jimmy said.

Chris, Martin and Aviva returned to the cockpit as the Tortuga suddenly shook.

"What was that?" Martin said.

As Aviva went to help Koki by the dashboard, a green eye was suddenly seen through the heavily cracked windshield watching them. But hasn't gone unnoticed as Jimmy screamed loudly seeing it.

"What? What?" Martin asked.

Aviva and Koki turn to him as the eye lowered out of view, and Aviva and Koki turned to the windshield and saw nothing outside.

"What? What is it?" Martin asked.

"There's something..." Jimmy nervously said.

Just then the entire cockpit shook as if it was caught in an earthquake.

"What is it?" Koki said.

"This is not good!" Aviva said.

Amber then struggled to stay on her feet as then Aviva and Koki screamed as they suddenly the entire front face of the Tortuga's head was pulled off and hits the ground.

Aviva and Koki quickly moved away as then a large carnivorous head suddenly rose up and growled. They quickly moved back as the head cranes forward trying to snatch, and then it's crocodile-like teeth clamped down on Amber's right thigh but missed the bone as she screeches in pain. Unable to hold on, Amber was then pulled out of the cockpit as she then starts biting and clawing her attacker. And then she hits a stroke of lucky as her hand claws slashed the skin near it's eye. The attacker was forced to let go as Amber falls and hits the ground.

With the attacker distracted in pain, Amber quickly took the chance and manages to climb to her feet and ignores the pain in her right thigh and runs off.

The Wild Kratts then turned back to the creature as it lifts it's head facing them and reveals itself.

Spinosaurus.

The biggest land predator ever to live on the planet, a monster that once patrolled the rivers and waterways of Mid-Cretaceous North Africa 95 million years ago.

The Spinosaurus then lets out a loud thunderous roar as it resonates through their bodies as the Wild Kratts taken over by fear quickly rushed out of the cockpit. And then the branch holding the Tortuga angled up suddenly cracks and then breaks off as the Tortuga tips over and hits the ground hard.

The Wild Kratts soon recovered as they looked out, and saw the Spinosaur's foot stomps on the ground with a thunderous thud.

Then suddenly the cockpit joined as the head and neck of the Tortuga were broken off and the Wild Kratts found themselves rolling across the forest floor. They continued rolling as they soon hit the side of a tree.

They begin to recover as Jimmy then saw the Spinosaurus outside, panic wins over him, and he quickly took off running.

"Jimmy, come back!" Chris yelled running after him.

Chris quickly caught Jimmy.

"Guys!" Martin yelled running out of the Tortuga head.

The Spinosaurus roared as Martins to it and they quickly got back in the relatively safety of the Tortuga head as the Spinosaur's enormous left foot stomps on the ground.

The Wild Kratts took shelter as the Spinosaurus grapples the Tortuga head with it's long arms and 3-fingered hands and flips it upright as they stumbled.

Then the Spinosaurus lifts it's left foot onto the Tortuga head pressing it's 11 ton mass over it. And the Wild Kratts saw the structure being crushed as then windows broke and pieces of glass flew everywhere as the Spinosaurus roars out.

The Wild Kratts then watched as the ravenous Spinosaurus then jabs it's long snout through the Tortuga head as it tries to snatch one of them. Aviva was the first to act fast as she quickly moves out to Chris and Jimmy. The Spinosaurus head lifts up as Martin took the chance and moves forward. Koki quickly made it to them as the Spinosaurus searches for them.

"Follow me!" Chris yelled. "This way!"

They rushed out of the Tortuga head running as the Spinosaurus was busy tearing it apart. But it soon lifts it's head up, and turns towards them roaring.

The Wild Kratts ran as they made it to a clearing, and soon heard crashing in the trees behind them as birds flew off.

"In here!" Chris yelled.

They quickly followed Chris as they ran, and the Spinosaurus crashes through the trees as one was knocked down. And the Spinosaurus charges after them roaring, the Wild Kratts quickly made into a grove of trees and continued running as the Spinosaurus pursues them and was soon caught between 2 trees as his sheer size stops him from squeezing in. He soon roars out in fury as the Wild Kratts continued running.

They kept running as they soon made it to a patch of tall grass and stopped to catch their breath as breathe heavily.

"I think we lost him." Martin said.

They soon saw to make their way back to the Tortuga, taking a different way to avoid the Spinosaurus. And they pass by a clearing with the remains of an old T. Rex skeleton.

The Wild Kratts soon made it back to the Tortuga, and the damage was already done as their was no possibly way to repair here on an island full of dinosaurs.

"Well, I'm afraid I got good and bad news." Koki said. "Good news is it can be repairable still."

"Bad news?" Jimmy fearfully asked.

"We can't do it here with all these dinosaurs." Koki said. "It could take days to repair the Tortuga."

"We don't have that kind of time, out here." Chris said.

"I know." Koki said.

"What can we do?" Aviva asked.

"The only chance we have is try to back to the coast, and get the boat and tow the Tortuga back to the mainland for repair." Koki said.

"But what about Amber?" Martin said. "We don't know where she is."

They then looked around.

"Okay, guys." Chris said. "Right now, grab what you can. Try to find a stream or river and head for the coast. We'll use the Power Suits and head back to get the boat."

They begin to grab what they could find.

2 miles away, Amber was finally slowed to a stop after fleeing from the Spinosaurus.

She pants to restore the spent energy, and then turns to the wound on her right leg. The teeth have done minor damage, but the adrenaline soon lowers as she acts up in pain. She then limps over to a tree and lays down, and starts licking it to prevent too much blood loss and infection.

Back with the Wild Kratts, they managed to gather everything they could find. CreaturePods, tablets, Aviva's M.I.K., Jimmy's controller, and the Power Suits.

As they were finishing up, Chris and Martin were examining the footprint left from the Spinosaurus.

"What was that thing, anyway?" Aviva asked as she, Koki and Jimmy joined by them.

"Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus." Martin said.

"That thing was huge." Koki said. "It looked bigger than a T. Rex."

"It is." Chris said. "Spinosaurus is the biggest predator on land. Over 50 feet long."

"If this area is part of his territory, we should go now before he comes back." Martin said.

They soon begin to head off to find their way to the coast.

About a half hour later, they were wandering through the forest. At this point, they were starting to get a sense of what the landscape was once like where dinosaurs once ruled.

As Isla Sorna was clearly no man's land.

"Okay, if we can try to find a stream or something, it should lead to a river, and we'll use that to head to the coast." Chris said.

"I hope Amber we'll find us." Martin said. "I mean this isn't a place for any animal to be on their own."

"Martin, dinosaurs have been ruling this island for over 10 years now." Chris said. "We're in their domain. If anything, she may have a slim chance to survive."

They soon reached a clearing and what puzzled them was that they saw an old life-jacket on the ground.

"Huh. Guess someone's been while a long time ago." Chris said.

"Probably sadly long dead now." Koki said.

They continued on, and soon came across a stream and start filling contains of water as it was unsure it will be the next time they came across some water.

As they were finishing up, Jimmy looked back and then noticed something.

"Uh, guys?" Jimmy said.

"Yeah, Jimmy?" Martin said.

"Look." Look said.

"Hmm?" Aviva frowned turning to him.

They turned to what Jimmy was seeing, and it was a nest with a clutch of 13 eggs. Martin then looked around, and saw several other nests with eggs as the entire area was a nest site. And he soon realized what species they were from.

"Raptor." Martin softly said.

Knowing that this was a nest site, and that the pack was somewhere out hunting. The Wild Kratts quickly left the area knowing that many nests with eggs, the pack wouldn't leave them alone for too long. And if raptors are anything like African Wild Dogs, they didn't want to stick around incase one raptor has stayed behind to look after them.

They soon made it out of the forest, and soon saw an old InGen compound.

"Hey." Chris said. "An old compound."

"Let's head down see what's there." Aviva said walking ahead of them.

They soon arrived at the compound and saw that the effects of nature had claimed the building. And they walked by old abandoned cars and trucks as they had broken and shattered windows.

They soon went inside into the lobby and saw plants shooting everywhere.

"Sure is creepy in here." Jimmy said. "Feel a little better in here than out there."

They looked around as they even saw an old telephone as the phone was left on the counter as if someone left it there. They knew well it wouldn't work so they soon headed into the building.

They soon saw came across a few old vending machines. A slim chance that some of the items inside are still fresh, but it's likely they no longer work.

Chris then grabs a rock and then threw it at one of them as it broke through the glass. Clearing the glass with a branch, he soon grabs a few bags and soon headed down the hall.

As they snacked on some of the bags, they soon came across an old hatchery lab as they headed down the stairs and saw incubators as some had broken domes and saw old empty dinosaur eggshells. Chris and Martin have actually heard from somewhere that in 1998, a year after the incident in San Diego, an illegal InGen team snuck into Sorna, and made 4 new dinosaur species: Spinosaurus, Corythosaurus, Ceratosaurus and Ankylosaurus.

They have seen how they have made dinosaurs, but one would say this is how you play God.

They continued looking around as Jimmy saw old containers with old embryonic specimens.

"Creepy." Jimmy lightly shuddered.

He continues looking at the containers and saw one with a life-like Velociraptor head with dark scale coloration and some white and red and short quill bristles on it's head.

"Oh, this is a strange one." Jimmy said looking at it.

He found it quite interesting and thought it looked a little too real.

And for a moment he thought he saw it's eye lightly shifted.

"Huh?" Jimmy blinked.

Suddenly, the head came to life and it screeched as it reaches between a gap between the containers as Jimmy jumped back seeing it was a real Velociraptor and then screamed.

The others soon saw him and the raptor and quickly ran as the raptor struggled and got free and chased after them.

"Go, go, go!" Martin yelled.

The Velociraptor then leaps through an old container.

The Wild Kratts quickly ran through the hall trying to find a way out, they were maze-like as they soon got to a hall leading to some old cages. They then ran down another hall and got to the door as it was locked.

"It's locked!" Koki yelled.

They looked back as the Velociraptor halts to a stop and turns to them.

"Uh..." Martin nervously stammered.

'This way, this way!" Chris yelled as they quickly got into different cages.

The Velociraptor charged as Chris, Martin and Jimmy got in one cage, and Aviva and Koki quickly got to another. They quickly closed the door and hold it, but the raptor rams against it as they struggled to hold it back from the vicious raptor as it barked and growled and it soon overpowers them and pushes them back as the door was pushed the other wall of the cage trapping them as the raptor tries to gnaw through the frame of the door which is the only thing between the 2 girls and the raptor's deadly teeth and claws.

"Hey, over here!" Chris yelled trying to get it's attention.

"Hey!" Martin yelled.

The Velociraptor continues gnawing on the frame, but then it froze for a moment and looked up as the triangular gape above them looked big enough for it to fit through.

The cunning raptor was then about to prove it as it hooks it's foot claws to the frame starting to climb up. And Aviva saw it was now or never.

"Push!" Aviva yelled. "Push!"

They then pushed on the door hard as the raptor was still on it, and was soon against the outside wall and the locking bar slide into the frame keeping the door in place and trapping the raptor.

The Wild Kratts took the chance and ran.

"Go! Go!" Koki yelled.

The trapped raptor then lets out a panicked cawing sound.

The Wild Kratts ran as it soon got Martin's attention and turns to it.

"Oh, no." Martin said realizing what it was doing.

The Velociraptor continues cawing as it almost sounded like a distress call.

"He's calling for help." Martin said.

"Martin!" Aviva yelled.

Martin quickly ran as the trapped raptor continues cawing as it tries to climb out.

The Wild Kratts quickly outside of the compound and quickly ran into brush.

The Velociraptor soon trots outside of the compound after getting himself free, and then he caws out loudly as he calls out for the rest of the pack.

Not far away, the rest of the pack heard the calls from him nearby as another male chirrups.

And a Velociraptor with a whitish color and black patching lightly hissed.

Not too far away, Amber was licking her wound heard the distant caws as they sounded both strange, but genetically familiar.

Elsewhere, the Wild Kratts ran out of the forest and into a large clearing where a large herd of Parasaurolophus and Corythosaurus.

"Scatter!" Martin yelled.

A Parasaurolophus perked up from grazing turning to them as they ran, and it instinctively knew danger was close by. It then bellows out loudly to the rest of the herd as they soon ran as a stampede started. And now the Wild Kratts were running trying to avoid getting trampled.

Soon, 2 male Velociraptors came running out of the trees in hot pursuit.

"Head for the trees!" Martin yelled.

They quickly made it through the herd and into the forest, and they quickly got to a tree and started climbing up.

They quietly scanned the forest floor trying to see even the slightest movement.

"See anything?" Aviva asked.

"Nothing." Martin said.

Then a branch Jimmy was leaning on snapped off as he fell, and then his right foot got caught on a fork of a branch. Then 2 Velociraptors suddenly appeared, and one leaped up snapping his jaws just missing Jimmy by literally an inch.

"Get me outta here!" Jimmy yelled.

The female raptor then leaped up just missing Jimmy as well. Then Chris quickly pulls Jimmy up, and they watched as the Velociraptors watched.

Then distant cawing was heard, and the they turned to the direction it was heard as it was another raptor from the pack calling to regroup. They soon ran off.

Elsewhere in the forest, Amber peaked from behind a tree and scans the area feeling she wasn't alone here.

Even her keen nose sniffs the air but picks up nothing.

Amber ducked for a moment and lightly snorted, she then rose up to head off, but she was then greeted by a roaring male Velociraptor. Amber backed away as the male raptor leaped onto the tree root and approaches her, and he clearly has the advantage of being bigger and heavier than at full size. Amber was about to turn and run when a second raptor appeared, and then a 3rd male raptor and then the female raptor appeared as they had Amber surrounded as they didn't look happy to find an intruding raptor trespassing in their territory.

Outnumbered 4 to 1, Amber knows she was in dire trouble. Instinctively, Amber lowers down into a submissive stance hoping to throw-off an attack, something wolves do if encountering a strange wolf from another pack. The female then approaches Amber as she could be the pack's alpha female. She hissed as Amber kept dead still knowing that even a slight move could be fatal.

The alpha then sniffs Amber, so sensitive is the sense of smell in raptors, she can tell the identify and even the health of another raptor. The alpha can clearly smell Amber was a female, and is only a youngster, but picked up a strange scent that made her different as she then screeches.

The alpha then barked as as Amber lightly trilled, thinking it was safe enough to stand as she rose up. Amber then lightly squawked and chittered as the raptors looked bewildered and turn to one another. It was almost as if Amber speaking in a different language or in an accent that was strange to the pack.

Then one of the males barked and caws out loudly and attempts to charge, but the alpha female screeches at him stopping him as he backs down.

The alpha then chatters to the pack, and they then retreated as Amber watched them go, and turns back to the alpha as she stares at her for a moment and then trots off.

Amber lightly trilled as they soon vanished from view.

Towards night, the Wild Kratts were still up in their hideout in the tree as it was the safest place to be rather than being on the ground.

Martin then sighed. "Guys. I'm sorry for dragging you all out here in the first place."

"Oh, Martin, none of us were expecting to get stuck here." Chris said.

"Yeah, you know we're not the first people to be stranded on Sorna." Koki said.

"I know, but I just felt Amber need to interact with other raptors." Martin said. "And... I now I gotten us stuck in the most dangerous place in the world. Now, I... don't even know if Amber's alive still. I can't believe we lost her. We've gotta find her so we can help her if she gets into trouble."

"Martin, Amber's a lot tougher than we think she is." Aviva said. "We just don't know it yet."

"Martin, we're just barely surviving here." Chris said. "Amber's got nature's know how. I'm sure she's doing way better than we are right now."

"I think so." Martin said.

"I know." Chris said. "I mean, remember Maxilla? If she can make it through a 3,000 mile flight, then Amber can it make through an island of dinosaurs."

Early the next morning, just before dawn, Amber was asleep curled by the base of a tree.

She soon stirs as she woke up, and lets out a growl-like yawn. She trilled and got up, and heads over to a shallow stream and bends down to drink.

As Amber continues drinking, but then a rustle in the nearby brush was as Amber sharply turns to the direction she heard it. Amber sniffs the air trying to figure what was around.

Then, the alpha female raptor from yesterday emerges from the brush with a slab of meat from a kill they made.

Amber wasn't why she was here, and the alpha then placed the meat slab on the ground and nudges it as if she was offering it to her. Amber wasn't sure of what to make of this gesture, but she hasn't eaten anything since she arrived her. So Amber cautiously went up to the meat chunk, grabs it in her mouth and soon tossed it up and soon swallowed it whole.

The alpha then trilled and snorted, and made a head gesture as if she wanted Amber to follow her and heads off.

Amber was reluctant and unsure what to make of this, but if the alpha wanted to kill Amber, she would've had that done minutes ago. Soon, Amber reluctantly starts to follow her as they further into the primeval forest.

As the sun continues rising, the Wild Kratts were still up in there treetop roost, but Chris bravely climbs down.

He then looks around carefully to be sure the raptors didn't stake out close by. But saw no sign of them.

Once he was sure the coast is clear, Chris signals the others to head on down.

Later towards midmorning, they came across a high cliff with a river below.

"With any luck, that river should lead to the coast." Chris said.

"They're could also be a boat as well." Martin said. "If we can just work out how to get down there."

They then headed off.

Elsewhere on Sorna, Amber was following the raptor pack as one male stayed behind to look after the eggs. It seems that raptors in the wild, those in Amber's age would be big enough to join the pack on a hunt.

The alpha female's territory covers 15 square miles of hunting ground, and it's a lot of a ground to cover.

Eventually, the pack wandered out of the forest and ended on a shoreline on the coast. But it was then that they picked up the scent of something close by.

The raptors sniffed the air, and saw a Sperm Whale carcass on the beach. The pack trotted over to the carcass, and it's meat still looks relatively fresh. This whale beached himself a couple days ago, he was 80 years old, and luckily didn't suffer for long.

The body showed massive chunks indicting scavengers have already started feeding. Soon, the raptors started feeing as well, whale meat is rich in protein. Red whale meat is even more rich than beef, it's also rich in iron and niacin.

As the raptors begin to feast on the carcass, the alpha female has one section to herself: the liver. In predators, the liver is usually the first thing predators will eat. It's the largest organ in the body, and more importantly, it's rich in vitamins and iron, and this is something predatory dinosaurs crave.

Luckily, not much of the liver has been touched. So the alpha will eat her fill first, and let the raptors have their turn for the liver when she's done.

At the moment, Amber was hanging back unsure rather to eat or not. But she still hasn't had a good meal lately, soon hunger wins out over caution. Amber went over to the carcass, and finds an unclaimed section on the tail and starts feeding.

But the raptors will have to get their share now while they can, as a carcass of this size will attract predators from miles around.

The raptor's teeth and claws were short work through the flesh and organs of the corpse. The skin and blubber is incredibly tough to bite through.

As the raptors were busy feeding, and with a flock of Compsognathus nearby waiting their turn. A faint tremor suddenly reverberates through the ground, and it was enough to have the Compsognathus running off.

The raptors didn't take much notice of it, till another tremor was felt, and they continued as they felt like footsteps. Soon, the raptors looked like and chittered in a confuse matter. Even Amber was unsure what to make of this.

Then branches were heard snapping and breaking as something big was moving through the trees.

The raptors then got ready to face whatever was coming, and soon a large foot stomps on the ground as then a thunderous roar blasts in the air.

The confronter: a large male Tyrannosaurus.

The T. Rex roars at the pack wanting this meal for himself, and the raptors screeched and roared at the behemoth. But the ravenous Rex wasn't discourage as he had the advantage. He was 50 times heavier than them, and has the stronger bite as he roars out as the pack started to back away.

The T. Rex then lets out a thunderous roar as it was enough to resonate through Amber's body stunning her. Soon the alpha caws out to the pack, and the raptors soon fall back as Amber quickly follows them. And the Tyrannosaurus makes his way to the whale carcass.

In feeding rights, size matters.

The T. Rex sniffs the carcass as drool oozes from his mouth, and then he violently gorges himself on the carcass and soon rips out a huge chunk of flesh, and a piece of rib and soon swallows it whole.

With predators, scavenging plays a role in their diet.

Luckily, the pack has manage to get to their fill, as well as Amber, they then head off back to the nest site.

Meanwhile, the Wild Kratts have made it to a clearing and came across a large fence.

An old sign read "Danger High Voltage", but the fence has long been powered out. The only thing stopping them from climbing over was the top had spikes likely to keep anything from climbing over.

"Any ideas how to get through?" Koki said.

"We could go around." Jimmy said.

"But could take days." Aviva said. "Who knows how far this fence goes."

"Hey." Chris said gesturing to something.

Close by, a section of the fence was broken off as if something broke through it. They soon went through and headed to an old building, and after some difficult time busting the doors open as they were locked, but they soon got inside.

They soon headed down a staircase and to what looks like an old aviary that used to hold Pteranodons. But it seems it has long been abandoned by them. Seeing that a staircase was gone likely broken off, they soon cross an old bridge that luckily held them.

"Man, this place almost like a maze." Martin said.

"I know, there's has to be way down." Aviva said.

They then came across a broken section of walkway and it clearly too far a gap to jump.

"Great." Koki complained.

"Let's go back and try another way." Chris said.

But just before they could move, the rods supporting the section of the walkway they were standing on broke loose. And they lost their footing and fell and screamed as they soon hit the water below them.

They soon rose and coughed.

"Well, that's one way to get down." Martin said.

They swam over to to the bank, and soon found a doorway leave the aviary.

"Hey, look!" Chris said. "A boat!"

"Oh, thank you." Jimmy said relieved.

They soon got to the boat, and pushed it out and they headed downriver.

A couple hours later, they sure still headed downriver.

"Okay, by the looks on this map, we sure reach the coast by tomorrow morning." Koki said looking at a map on her tablet.

"As long as we don't run into anything." Aviva said.

"Can we please don't jinx it?" Jimmy begged.

They soon made it pass some trees, and then Chris saw something.

(BG Music: Brachiosaurus on the Bank by Don Davis: Jurassic Park III)

"Guys." Chris said.

They looked as bellows were heard, and there was a large herd of dinosaurs by the river and grazing on a meadow. Made of Stegosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Ankylosaurus, and Brachiosaurus as one turns to them as a bird flew off it's shoulder.

"Whoa." Aviva said amazed.

They watched the dinosaurs as the sight was greater than what they have seen countless times with animals on the African grasslands. And they continued downriver as Brachiosaur follows alongside them on the bank.

"You know, Hammond would've enjoyed this." Martin said.

The thunderous thuds from the Brachiosaurs continued as 4 went up to the river bank and one male lowers his head down and bellows out.

Hours later, it was now night and was also raining as they head downriver by high canyon cliffs.

"Man, this rainstorm came out of nowhere." Martin said.

"I know." Koki said.

"How much further?" Aviva said.

"Another few miles to the coast." Koki said.

The boat continues downriver when neither has noticed part of a sail rose from the water.

Then suddenly the boat felt something struck it as they were knocked off their feet. Then suddenly the large male Spinosaurus from before rose out of the water and roars out.

"You again!" Martin yelled.

"Move, move!" Chris yelled as they hurried across the boat's side.

They quickly got into a cage on the boat's flatbed as the Spinosaurus knocks over the driving cabin. And the brothers quickly closed the cage door hoping the bars will prevent the Spinosaurus from biting through.

They all held on as the Spinosaurus jostled the boat as if it was a toy for him as he roared. He then lowly growls as he stalks the side of the cage eyeing the Wild Kratts.

"You-You don't wanna eat us." Jimmy nervously shook. "We're just barely a snack for you."

"I don't think he's convince, Jimmy." Koki said.

"THERE"S NOTHING WRONG WITH TRYING!" Jimmy snapped.

Then suddenly the hand claws of the Spinosaurus grappled the side of the cage as he starts pulling the cage.

"The boxes!" Martin yelled. "Look in the boxes! Find anything that can help!"

The Spinosaurus growled as they looked through the boxes, all they found were some tools and a flare gun. The Spinosaurus continues pulling on the cage as the boat started to tip, and soon the dinosaur pulls the cage off the boat and into the water.

"Oh, no!" Jimmy yelled as they started to sink down.

Now underwater, they struggled to open the cage as the Spinosaurus swung his 6-foot head side to side trying to find them as the cage spun around in the water. The cage door swung open as Martin fell out of it, he then swims off as the Spinosaurus roars out loudly.

The cage soon hits the river bottom and they rose up gasping for air.

Nearby, Martin rose up and saw the Spinosaurus roaring and reaches his large right arm into the cage as the others swam down trying to avoid his grasp and claws. Martin then saw a crane nearby and quickly swims over to it.

The Spinosaurs roars as he dips his snout in the water searching for them, and underneath, Chris, Aviva, Koki and Jimmy were trying to avoiding getting sliced the dinosaur's massive hand claws.

By the crane, Martin manages to reach it and climbs up the crane's arm.

"Hey!" Martin yelled. "HEY!" He waved his arms out.

The Spinosaurus roars as he turns to Martin, and heads over to him as Chris, Aviva, Koki and Jimmy quickly took the chance and climbed out of the cage.

The Spinosaurus distracted on Martin watches as he walks further across on the crane.

"Hey!" Martin watched.

The Spinosaurus roars out at him.

"Jeez!" Martin said.

The others quickly swim off as Chris dove into the water.

Meanwhile, the Spinosaurus slams his head against the crane arm trying to knock Martin off. Martin soon stumbled fell and hangs on with dear life as he was just mere feet from the Spinosaur's jaws.

Underwater, Chris feels around and grabs the flare gun.

He soon surfaced as he saw the Spinosaurus still focused on Martin and loads the flare gun. He knew it wouldn't hurt the dinosaur, and he takes aim and fires. The flare hits the Spinosaur's shoulder and deflects up as the Spinosaurus made a "Hmm" like growl.

Martin took the chance and lets go and fell into the water.

The flare then explodes in the air casting a bright red light.

Nearby, the light was enough to grab the attention of another creature as she trilled.

Meanwhile, Martin has manage to catch up with the others.

"You okay?" Koki asked.

"Yeah." Martin said.

The Spinosaurus then roars as they turn to him, as he stalks towards them and growled.

The Spinosaurus prepares to make killer blow, but then a caw was suddenly as he halts his attack.

Another caw heard as the Wild Kratts turned and saw what it was.

(BG Music: Our Rex is Bigger Than Yours by Michael Giacchino: Jurassic World)

It was Amber as she came rushing out of the forest and then charges full speed as she screeches out loudly with teeth and claws out.

Amber charges as she ran up a log, and then leaps into the air as the Spinosaurus narrowly misses her as she land on his left leg. Amber then attacks the Spinosaur's side as she tries to reach and then roars out as his tail swung knocking a tree down. He then roars out loudly as then suddenly the alpha female lunges from nowhere landing on his neck as the rest of the pack attacked as well.

The Wild Kratts took shelter behind a boulder and the battle as one of the male raptors were thrown off and hits the ground near them. The Spinosaurus and Amber roar at each other and he lunges snapping his jaws missing her as the male raptor got up and leaps onto the Spinosaur's side.

Having thick skin in some areas, the raptors attack the softer spots around the neck and face of the Spinosaurus. Even around the eyes to confused and disorient him.

Soon, the Spinosaurus growled as the raptors then got off him as they regrouped as they stood shoulder to shoulder. And having enough, the Spinosaurus roars out loudly and heads off into the night.

The biggest predator on Sorna, humbled by the swiftest.

And the Wild Kratts soon came of hiding.

"Whoa, that has to be a never-before-seen wildlife moment for sure." Chris said.

"And I think that Amber with them." Martin said. "But, where is she?"

They looked around as the raptors were already gone as quickly as they appeared.

"They're gone." Aviva said.

"I guess Amber went with them." Koki said.

"Maybe she deserves to be her own kind." Martin said.

The next morning, the Wild Kratts were still wandering through the forest.

But then something was heard nearby.

"You hear that?" Martin asked.

They listened as then what sounded like crashing waves was heard.

"The ocean." Martin said.

They then ran following the sound as they reach a clearing.

But then suddenly, a male Velociraptor rushed out from nowhere as they halt to a stop. He growled as then another male rushed, and then a third and fourth raptor appeared.

"Oh, no." Jimmy trembled.

Then the alpha female appeared with Amber as she knows they could be in serious trouble.

"Everybody get down." Martin said. "She's challenging us."

They then got on their knees as the alpha then approaches them and hissed. She then sniffs them as if she was inspecting them, she then screeched as she recognized the scent when she did with Amber before.

Amber then joins them and chatters and lightly chirped.

The alpha then chittered to the rest of the pack, and they soon trotted off and the alpha soon followed.

With the pack gone, Amber soon nuzzled Martin.

"Boy, are we glad to see you." Martin said.

They soon got up and headed off.

After a few minutes, they finally made it out of the tree into the open.

And right ahead of them was the shoreline and ocean.

"So... now that we're here on the beach, how do we get home?" Koki asked.

Then spouting sounds were heard, and soon saw a number of dorsal fins near the shore.

"Thinking what I'm thinking?" Martin smirked.

"Oh, yeah." Chris said.

They then brought out their Dolphin Power Discs.

2 weeks later

After using Dolphin Power to return to the mainland, they manage to retrieve their Aqua HQ Boat as they at a lagoon. And the brothers have managed to hook the Tortuga and it's head and towed as it's crane soon lifted it onto it's deck.

"Well, this could be a while before the Tortuga is airborne again." Koki said.

"That's okay, at least we can do a little more exploring on Sorna." Martin said.

"But, how 'bout at a different spot away from the Spinosaur's territory?" Chris suggested.

"As long as I'm on the boat." Jimmy said.

"And, after, this, let's agree to never come back here." Martin said.

"I thought we already we did." Jimmy said.

They then laughed.

Author's Note:

How was that with a wild dino adventure for them?

In Jurassic Park III, I like listening to that bit of theme of when the plane flying to Sorna.

And, at this point, I believe I'm several chapters away from finishing, maybe more.

And I have seen that trailer of the new series coming on AppleTV+, Prehistoric Planet, which is that dinosaur documentary that Iron Man director, Jon Favreau I heard of before. I actually like that shot of the herd of Titanosaurs migrating across a slat flat, but I'm not sure what species they are. But what surprise me was this shot showing a Titanosaur with these air sacs on the side of it's neck. What could they be for? Something for communication? Some kind of breeding display perhaps? I know some birds have bizarre features when it comes to breeding, and I'm sure some dinosaurs might've as well. But I'm not 100% certain of Sauropods having those external air sacs like that, but I am aware that they have air sacs and hollow bones to make their skeletons lighter as well in the neck. But, hey, there's nothing wrong with speculation.

The second thing that surprised me was the teaser showing a T. Rex and it's young swimming in the ocean. I actually didn't take T. Rex as much of a swimmer, but maybe like elephants, T. Rex might have to swim across rivers or deep channels if they wanted too. But the question is why would the series show the T. Rex family swimming? Some sort of island hop or something?

There was species of Tyrannosaur chasing a species of Oviraptorid, and a Pachyrhinosaurus herd in a blizzard as one was confronting what I believe is a Nanqusaurus. And the third thing that surprise me was a Plesiosaur of some kind lunging up and snatching a fish in mid-air, it reminded me of how dolphins sometimes catch fish by making rings of mud to have the fish leap into the air and snatch them as they go by. But could Plesiosaurs actually done the same thing?

The teaser ends with a close-up of a dinosaur opening it's eye, and another species of Tyrannosaur roaring out. Oh, and if you're fans of David Attenborough, he's the narrator of the new series.

A sneak peek was also shown of a Cretaceous beach, and newly hatched sea turtles were crawling towards the water. But they were spotted by a hunter. A curious young T. Rex still covered in a feathery coat. He's got the killer instinct. But his problem... is inexperience. I think what was amazing was that they got the footprints left on the sand to look so real. The juvenile then runs off to his enormous father. A full grown T. Rex is the planet's most powerful predator, but today, he's just being Father.

The T. Rex looks impressive and robust, somewhat reminding me like on a Grizzly Bear or Polar Bear. Or maybe a Siberian Tiger. I even noticed lips covering the upper teeth in the top jaw. Without a doubt, I'm sure T. Rex males might have been incredible fathers, like what we see with lions. But I wonder why the mother wasn't shown.

I've also heard of this new fossil find in Tanis, North Dakota where fossils of dinosaur remains were found right on the day when the KT meteor struck the planet, likely just minutes or at less a hour after impact. One was a leg of dinosaur that looked to have the fossilized muscle shape, and another was the impression of dinosaur skin. I can only imagine what discoveries Tanis will soon reveal.

And I've also heard of this Climate Crisis 'Now or never' on the news recently. I just hope it's still not too late to fix it.

Oh, if you're a fan of Michael Bay, this new film of his, Ambulance is now in theaters.

And last thing, 10 days from now marks 80 years of a historic day. The day the Americans struck back avenging Pearl Harbor.
