Once Moe, Deidra, MJ, Samantha, and the other kids got home Deidra angrily pointed to the mess Ariel muttering stupid adopted under her breath and Deidra heard her glaring.
"Actually you were around for her birth and when she colored her hair so who's adopted now?" Deidra asked handing Ariel a mop and bucket.
"This house will be spotless for Samantha's birthday tomorrow and I mean business. There will not be a stain, broken shard of glass, or anything else sharp or dirty in this house that Samantha's friends didn't mess up".
"Her friends are Barbies so unless she makes them trash the place by herself then her friends have no ability to trash the house" Natalie said as Samantha gasped tears rolling down her face as Deidra stared angrily at Natalie.
"She has friends the whole neighborhood of kids Samantha's age are her friends because they love her videos".
Samantha stared at all her siblings as they glared back and Samantha did the one thing nobody not even Deidra was expecting.
"THAT IS IT I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE! ARIEL DID I ASK YOU TO THROW A RAGER? WELL DID I? NO I DIDN'T AND NATALIE IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU WANTED ICE CREAM CAKE TALK TO ARIEL SHE WAS THE CATERER NOT ME! IF I WAS WE'D HAVE CHEESECAKE!" Samantha screamed angry sweat dripping down her face.
"Whoa Sammi take it easy we're not saying you told me to throw a party but you also didn't have to tell Chief Foutley I threw it".
"TAKE IT EASY? TAKE IT EASY? EVERY SIBLING HERE EXCEPT MJ HAS BEEN ALL OVER ME SINCE I WAS THREE AND COLORED MY HAIR! I'M NOT ADOPTED I JUST COLORED MY HAIR BLONDE BECAUSE I THOUGHT I'D LOOK DIFFERENT AND I WAS RIGHT!"
Deidra stepped back seeing Samantha angrily shake and try to catch her breath from sobbing Moe darting next to Deidra.
"OK Sam we get it you're not adopted. I mean the half that was here when you were born like Ariel know you aren't adopted blame her this is all Ariel's fault".
"OH PLEASE NATALIE YOU ARE FAR FROM INNOCENT YOU POSTED FLYERS OF ME ALL AROUND SCHOOL TELLING PEOPLE I WAS THE PICTURE IN THE BACK OF THE MILK CARTON! HOW THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME FEEL I MEAN WE'RE SISTERS!"
"True but that's because I have a suspicion that either you or one of your friends wrote in the school paper that my chest is flat as a board".
Everyone but the siblings that went to school with Natalie and Samantha gasped suddenly seeing why Samantha came home bawling from school every day.
"BUT SCHOOL WASN'T ENOUGH FOR NATALIE DEE HOWARD NO BECAUSE THEN YOU WENT TO THE NEWSPAPER AND HAD A HAVE YOU SEEN MY DAUGHTER AD PRINTED ALL FEATURING MY FACE PHOTOSHOPPED ON A MILK CARTON WITH OUR PHONE NUMBER!"
Deidra was disgusted picking up the newspaper to see the ad Samantha was talking about and sure enough it took up a whole page Natalie flinching at Samantha's words.
"Nat that is so not cool I mean she's stopped talking till now and you go and make her a spectacle in the newspaper?" Angelica a little girl looking like Deidra asked as Samantha turned to her next.
"YOU ANGELICA ARE THE REASON I DON'T HAVE MUCH FRIENDS! EVERY TIME THEY CAME LOOKING FOR ME YOU TOLD THEM I DIDN'T NEED THEM! SO NOW LIKE JAMIE IN THIS BOOK I READ I HAVE TO LEARN TO FORGIVE MY FRIENDS FOR TURNING THEIR BACKS ON ME!" Samantha bawled as Deidra and Moe stared down at Angelica.
"OK my bad but all the siblings see Samantha hanging with her friends more than us so we had a plan that backfired because Samantha found out and she's in the process of forgiving them".
"Your bad young lady she's talking to dolls because she probably feels like she can't talk to anything else. I mean you guys are the worst to her" Moe said as Deidra saw him taking charge which he hardly ever did.
"Now as punishments Angelica you will call every one of Samantha's friends apologizing to them for what you did, Natalie call the paper and get the ad taken from it, and Ariel as a special treat you are now rooming with Samantha. Maybe then you'll learn to appreciate her" Deidra said.
Ariel gasped like rooming with Samantha was a death sentence and Samantha ran to MJ hugging him Deidra and Moe not telling Samantha MJ may have a month to live.
"Kids get to cleaning and Ariel after cleaning move your stuff to the attic Samantha's bedroom. I will not have everyone walking all over her anymore".
Deidra walked Samantha, MJ, and Moe to the kitchen where nachos another favorite of Samantha's and MJ's and Samantha sensed something was up.
"Ok since I found my voice I'm going to use it more. So what's up? Because this was the snack we had when MJ first found out he had cancer".
"Well Sami as we told you cancer is a very dangerous disease and sometimes it can uhh umm kind of expire people at a young age like your brother".
"OK stop tap dancing around the landmines and give it to me straight. I can handle it I'm matureish and finding my voice just may be a step in the right direction".
"O-k Sammi remember in Bambi when Bambi's mother died and you cried for weeks because your heart went out to that animated deer?" MJ asked as Samantha nodded sipping Cherry Pepsi and hanging on his every word.
"Well from what the doctor's told me I have a month to live but that doesn't mean I won't make it. It also doesn't mean I will make it. They want to try chemo and see if it will help".
The room grew deathly silent as Moe and Deidra slowly looked down at Samantha and she wiped her eyes staring at her brother.
"How long have you known? I mean they don't spring you have a month to live on a person so suddenly they have to give you a warning right?"
"I've known for a week and I never told anyone because right now my emotions are in knots and I'm trying to untie them. Seeing how much you care about me I thought I should tell you".
Samantha stood up and hugged MJ saying you'll fight it I know you will and Deidra and Moe hugged Samantha and they walked to the living room A Walk To Remember ready to start.
"OK Moe I'll get the tissues we'll need them and MJ work on that bucket list I mean Jamie had one and it never steered her wrong".
Samantha rummaged in her Queen Barb backpack finding her camera and she pointed it at herself MJ and Moe interested on what she was doing.
"Hi YouTube it's your girl BarbieGirl2000 and today I found my voice but don't worry I will still make my Barbie videos and put all of my imagination in them. Today I wanted to try a video diary so comment and tell me what you all think".
"Ok first entry my brother, father, and mother just told me that MJ the most rocking big brother ever may have a month to live. Screw cancer it's not fair but MJ's a fighter and he'll get through this I know it. I have faith in him".
MJ's eyes misted over and he bear hugged Samantha as she giggled pointing the camera at him and he made silly faces and Moe had to admit this was the first time MJ looked like he was having fun.
"OK so as I said MJ will fight this and he'll live a long and rich life filled with giggles, smiles, and grins from his favorite little sister me and he'll be an usher at my wedding".
Deidra came back with a box of tissues and grinned seeing MJ throw popcorn at Samantha and she giggled loudly and threw popcorn at MJ Moe moving back trying not to get caught in the crossfire.
"Well for a boy that may or may not have a month to live he's sure enjoying it. I just have to ask what if he is gone in a month what will we do? Or Sam what will Sam do if God forbid he doesn't make it?" Moe asked as Deidra shrugged tears streaming down her face.
"I guess she goes back to talking to her Barbies and letting the siblings walk all over her. I would hate for that to happen but these are the what if's we need to consider unfortunately". Deidra said as she heard trash cans clanging outside.
"Make some more movie snacks I'll check it out. It's probably those raccoons again babe. No matter how many times I shoo them they just sit there taunting me".
Deidra giggled and walked into the kitchen to find Ariel grumbling and hauling boxes to the attic a hiss in her voice.
"I don't know why I have to room with her. I mean I'm not the only one who knocked her down a few pegs" Ariel moaned the last of her boxes in Samantha's Fluttershy from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic themed bedroom.
"Good point so I'll make Natalie and Angelica roommates too. Just not up here it would be way too crowded. So you know get settled and enjoy the first of many nights sleeping with your sister who I only heard snores like a hibernating bear.
Ariel shrieked yippee in an obviously sarcastic tone and opened the closest box and she found photo albums, pictures, and framed drawings Samantha and Ariel shared together and Deidra sat down beside her.
"See there you two are on Halloween when she was three she was Fluttershy and you begged to be Twilight Sparkle. There was a time before Junior High changed you that Samantha worshipped the ground you walked on and you let her tag along everywhere".
Ariel wiped her eyes of sad, angry, remorseful tears and carefully picked up more pictures seeing Samantha grow in them and also see Ariel grow apart from her in them.
"I guess I went a different direction than her in Junior High and I thought she could handle life without me. I guess she can't and she just boiled all over us like a boiling pot tonight finally having enough and I don't blame her" Ariel wept as Deidra hugged her.
"Ariel this I'm a tween and I'm proud act is great but look at all the people you're hurting in the long run. I mean Samantha up till an hour ago was communicating through Barbies".
Ariel continued to cry as Samantha trekked up the stairs for her movie watching blanket a Fluttershy blanket her grandmother knitted for her and saw Ariel bawling the one thing Samantha hasn't seen Ariel do in a long time.
"Arrie what's wrong? Did they discontinue your makeup or something? If they did that is nothing to cry about just find a new makeup and get over it" Samantha said as Ariel collapsed into Samantha's arms saying this is more than just makeup.
"Sami I forgot you and I'm sorry. I mean we were friends long ago but somewhere we lost touch with each other and I would like to find us again".
Samantha cried along with Ariel saying MJ. may have a month left to live and Ariel cried harder saying she hated cancer and Samantha said me too the two girls hugging the Fluttershy blanket covering both of them.
"So now that all are tears are washed up by Fluttershy what do you say we join dad, mom and MJ. for dad's first viewing of A Walk To Remember. I mean you rocked the soundtrack long ago".
Ariel nodded and raced Samantha downstairs to MJ who was happy to see Samantha making friends with other siblings because he didn't know how long he had left.
Meanwhile outside Moe has a tennis racket and is slowly approaching the moving garbage cans as Curly and Larry ran up hearing the cans from their houses too.
"OK Curl when I say take the top off the garbage can and stand back. Raccoons are very territorial creatures" Moe said raising his tennis racket.
Curly not listening lifted the top of the garbage can and Moe about to attack found a dirty girl in ripped clothes and a dirty blonde pigtail munching on garbage pizza.
"Shit sweetie you almost got beat up. Who are you and why are you feeding off my trash? I mean there has got to be yummier foods out there".
The girl burped and hopped out of the garbage can staring up at the three guys with confused looks on their faces.
"I'm Anna you know like Princess Anna that's Annuh not Annuh get it right. Anywho I was hoping not to get caught because I've been stealing food from this garbage for weeks" The girl said as Curly smiled liking this girl.
"Great Anna do you have parents? I mean you had to once to be born right? If they died I'm sorry to hear that but if you do honey where are they?"
"They walked out on me. Apparently they can save more money if they don't have flea bitten children and yes I am flea bitten but just because the streets are my home and garbage cans are my meals".
Curly wrapped Anna in a hug and took her hand looking down at her.
"Well you have a home now Anna and meals not made in a garbage can plus unlimited snacks and soda" Curly said as they both walked to his house Moe cleaning up the garbage.
"Honey you have got to get in here Samantha and Ariel are doing each other's makeup voluntarily and Samantha looks so much better with makeup" Deidra said as the garbage got cleaned up.
"Good news it's not raccoons it's a little girl named Annuh not Anna and she's become Curly' newest offspring".
"Good we can congratulate them tomorrow and invite Anna to Samantha's birthday and we still have to text her biggest birthday present with deets for tomorrow".
Moe walked into the living room to find Samantha and Ariel with makeup all over them and a bloodcurdling scream pierced Deidra's ears and she ran to the scream to find Natalie hyperventilating as Angelica hummed Let It Go decorating her side of her new bedroom with Frozen decal.
"What-is-the-three-year-old-doing-decorating-my-room-with-Frozen-shit? This-is-not-her-room-please-tell-her-this-isn't-her-room" Natalie growled in between breaths and Deidra pointed to a notice on Natalie's door.
"I don't know what's more pathetic the fact that the three year old can read at an advanced level or the fact that you can't even read your own name".
Natalie grabbed the letter and read through it and screamed again seeing Deidra now roomed Angelica with Natalie and it was not Natalie's proudest moment.
"OK I get it bullying Samantha AKA Fluttershy was bad and I'll never do it again. But is rooming me with the youngest sibling really the solution here?"
"Yes because the three year old looks up to you and you are teaching her all sort of bad things like how to bully the innocent sibling in this house.
"Ariel did it too and she gets a pass because she's the oldest. I mean what are you doing to punish Ariel?"
"Ariel is rooming with Samantha and she made it clear that she wasn't the only one to bully Samantha so in walks Angelica your new roommate. Thank Ariel without her you may have had your own room" Deidra said walking out as Angelica's bed was moved in Frozen bed set and all.
"Oh yes thanks so much Ariel careful your tailfins showing maybe we can find you an octopus to play hide the voice with. I mean come on Arrie you're the oldest maybe you should be wiser and teach us how to act".
"Nat I may be the oldest but I never encouraged you to bully Samantha and the same goes for Angelica I didn't tell her to run Sammi's friends away. BTW I love The Little Mermaid and being named after her so keep the sarcastic comments coming.
Samantha stuck her tongue out at Natalie and Angelica spreading her movie blanket out sharing it with Ariel everyone gasping because Samantha sharing her own movie viewing blanket was like seeing Haley's comet.
Weak by AJR played from Ariel's phone and Samantha and Ariel bobbed their heads MJ smiling as Deidra and Moe smiled along seeing the girls sing together and MJ though not giving up was glad another sibling found their way into Samantha's heart.
"OK so Moe get ready to be wowed by the best movie ever and also the saddest movie ever hence the tissues" Deidra said plopping in between Moe, Samantha, and Ariel on the couch.
At Larry's trailer he had a manilla envelope and the papers in it could save Lee, Marie, and May from their drunk mother.
"Lare baby grab me the Captain Morgan and Pepsi from the fridge please. Then you wanted to chit chat so let's do that before The Wheel starts" Sandra said checking the ashtrays for useable cigarettes.
"Here Pepsi, Captain Morgan, a pack of smokes, and oh yea divorce papers sign them so the girls and I can be free" Larry said at the end of his rope with Sandra.
"Lee get your pretty little ass down here you have got to hear the funny Larry just said. I can't stand it anymore I'm in hysterics".
"I'm not joking I'm serious Sandy now sign the damn papers and I'll take the girls and be gone. We can't be together anymore we both know that".
"You aren't taking my kids Larry. You may leave but the kids stay and Lee can continue to be my punching bag until I'm finished with her".
"Oh yeah great words of wisdom Sandra turning your eldest daughter into a punching bag. She takes the beatings because she feels Marie and May shouldn't and she is the oldest".
"Mama what's for dinner I'm starved? I don't smell anything cooking so can we maybe order something?" May asked as Sandra growled and got eye to eye with May her eyes on fire with anger.
"What have I told you about interrupting daddy and I while we're talking May? I mean why must I always repeat myself with you bitch?" Sandra asked balling her hands into fists about to hit May but a hand met Sandra's fists and Lee growled don't you dare hit her.
"Well look who it is my punching bag. So punching bag where were you whoreing around? It doesn't matter let my hands go I was about to teach the youngest bitch here a lesson".
"I told you mom leave her alone I'm here now and you can take all your anger out on me. There's no reason to involve Marie or May they don't deserve it".
Sandra shoved Lee out of the way as May wept shielding herself with her tiny arms as flashing red and blues hit the trailers windows.
"Well what are you waiting for mom? Hit her everyone's here for the big show. The police have front row seats and if you're wondering I called them. I figured since you were drinking since this morning we'd need them to save us once again".
Sandra screamed and started beating May who yelped like a wounded dog and Lee hating seeing her sister hit jumped on Sandra's back and started biting her May bleeding on the tiles of the kitchen.
"You bitch look what you did to her. Look you slut you hurt her are you happy now? She's crying that must be music to your ears right?"
"The bitch deserved it always moaning Ohhhhhhh what's for dinner my poor tummy wummy's hungry. I mean damn tone down the littlest sib syndrome a scootch".
May held her side a knife in it and blood seeping through her shirt and Lee gasped running outside screaming for an ambulance and EMT's followed her inside finding the knife in May.
"She'll be alright she may need stitches but she'll live a female EMT said loading May into the ambulance and cops dragged a struggling Sandra outside and cuffed her as Larry walked up to her.
"Before you take her there's still the matter of papers I need you to sign Sandra and then the girls and I can be on our way far from here".
"Fine you know what that's just fine. Take them they won't appreciate you especially Lee she's at a very difficult age on her way to becoming a woman".
"Good I can't teach her Jack on becoming a woman but luckily Curly and Moe have wives that could help me" Larry said as Sandra was read her rights and forced into the police car Marie and Lee going into the ambulance with May.
"I suppose I should meet them at the hospital then find a place to live or we could always live in the trailer and get a restraining order on Sandra".
Larry sped off to the hospital and Moe watched with tears in his eyes wishing he could help Larry and after watching A Walk To Remember his emotions were all over the place.
The next morning Ariel and Samantha were found under Samantha's Fluttershy blanket Samantha snoring and Ariel not minding it grinned as sun rose through the window and she jumped up ready to make Samantha a birthday breakfast.
"Ok pots, pans, other cooking things, recipes, and ingredients we need a bunch of those" Ariel said to herself as Deidra walked into the kitchen seeing food fly onto the counter and Ariel saying uh huh some of this a lot of this milk's always good.
"Arrie eldest daughter what are you up to and do you always talk to the food in the refrigerator? If so does it talk back?" Deidra asked as Ariel giggled shaking her head no.
"I want to make Sammi a really good birthday breakfast so I pillaged until I found all this food and now I'm going to cook it".
"I'll help and you knowing Samantha more than anyone can tell us the names of Samantha's friends so we can invite them over".
Ariel gulped one friend she knew Moe and Deidra would never approve of but had a thing for Samantha and her nickname Fluttershy.
"Uhh are you and dad ok with the fact that one of Samantha's friends is a lesbian? I mean I wasn't at first but after meeting her I can say she's a cool girl and Samantha really likes her".
"That's fine as long as she doesn't bring her girlfriend here. Your dad may freak out and then parties over in his eyes".
"No problem's there she's single but she prefers the company of women. She just moved in next door and Sammy has really taken a liking to her".
An Asian in an electric blue mohawk sped up and down the street on a moped and Deidra winced not liking the looks of this girl but wanted to invite her for Samantha not knowing the whole story of Penelope Rushford and Samantha yet.
"Uhh hi I'm Deidra Howard resident of the house next to yours and my daughter Samantha is having a shindig tonight for her birthday and I wanted to know if you'd like to join us" Deidra asked as Penelope stopped the moped and stared at Deidra nodding and grabbing an invitation.
"The names Penelope Rushford and Sammy as you call her I call her Fluttershy she loves it and I already met. She was the welcoming committee after seeing my moped" Penelope said snapping blueberry bubble gum from Asia.
"Great so she met you already awesome. Also no worries my other daughter Ariel has told me that you're a uhh a umm a girl that loves the ladies".
Ariel mouthed I'm so sorry to Penelope as Samantha yawned and shuffled downstairs in her Fluttershy blanket taking a look outside and shrieking inside and outside seeing who Deidra was talking to.
"Oh no they've met Arrie how much do you think Penelope told her? Do you think mom knows about us yet?" Samantha asked as MJ shrieked happily and kissed Samantha tears in his eyes.
"I'm cancer free the doctor is calling me a miracle so I'm cured someone congratulate me. Well come on all congratulate me I'm officially like Wolverine from X Men with the power to heal myself" MJ said as Samantha mumbled congratulations and MJ bear hugged her.
"Come on Flutter you can do better than that congratulate me I'm cured damn it. I mean why are you so fixated on the cool, mohawk, punker chick riding the moped around the street?".
Samantha shook her head clearing it of fantasies of Penelope and her kissing and getting married and Ariel shrieked happily hugging MJ saying you beat it you actually beat it as he nodded and Samantha bawled hugging him saying thank God and Deidra walked in with a stack of invites.
"Morning Lovebug so breakfast is being cooked. Why didn't you tell me Penelope was so cool to talk to? I had a skater friend in school just like Penelope".
Samantha broke away from MJ and looked at Deidra tears still forming on her eyes as she looked down at Moe and Deidra.
"OK how much did Penelope tell you Mom? I mean yes she's a lesbian I'm sure Ariel brought that fact up. Which I don't care but just what did Penelope tell you about me?"
"Nothing much and why are you crying on your special day? I mean this should be a happy day not a sad one".
"MJ beat cancer so that being said what nothing much did Penelope say? I mean did she say Fluttershy's my girlfriend or did she say You know that Fluttershy she's a great helper at unpacking boxes?"
Deidra and Moe cried spinning MJ around and Ariel looked at Samantha saying yea real subtle as Samantha shrugged and joined in the MJ hug fest.
"Mom details I need to know what Penelope told you and quick. Then I need to get dressed and start making phone calls to invite people over" Samantha said dreading Deidra's response and Deidra shrugged not seeing why Penelope and her conversation meant so much to Samantha.
"OK she said you were good at playing the welcoming committee and you were kind hearted and helped her unpack her whole bedroom including her vinyl and record player becoming friends with her" Deidra said as Samantha grabbed her phone screaming call Penelope and Penelope's phone rang.
"Hi Penny so you met my mom huh? Yea she's ok and she gave you an invite? So are you coming? If so you can be DJ I love your records and Apple Music is also another option".
"Wait why does this Penelope's opinion matter to Flutter? They aren't dating are they? If they are I have to say this party just got more interesting".
Ariel grabbed MJ's arm and led him to the hall and nodded talking in hushed tones not wanting Deidra and Moe to hear them.
"Yes their dating and Penny as Samantha calls her told her parents and their fine about it because their conservative they knew Penelope was a lesbian. Unfortunately our parents aren't as cool and Samantha is at a crossroads about how to break to them that she's a lesbian" Ariel said as MJ could just nod.
"OK you cook I'm going to talk to Flutter and see if maybe she has a plan to break to mom and dad that Penny and her are an item" MJ said bolting to the attic Samantha's bedroom.
"Penny you have to understand I need to walk on eggshells about this with my parents otherwise they won't accept it. I know I love you too but my mom and dad are from a different day and age where what we're doing is a sin".
MJ plopped onto Ariel's bed as Samantha hung up and looked at herself in the mirror talking to her reflection.
"Well Sammy happy birthday I mean you found your voice, found a forbidden love, and can't get the girl out of your mind but you know make a birthday wish" Samantha said blowing an invisible candle and turned around gasping as she saw MJ.
"No worries Ariel told me about Penny and Flutter's relationship status and I've got to say I'm proud of you for being so conservative but Flutter mom and dad are going to flip their shit when they find out".
"I know which is why I was hoping to keep us a secret but Penny wants her and I to confront mom and dad together. I just hope she knows what she's getting herself into".
MJ hugged Samantha saying I accept you two and one day mom and dad will too with Samantha nodding confidently and walked downstairs in a light, airy blue dress and tie up sandals opening the kitchen door seeing the siblings seated around the table.
"OK everyone not dad, Ariel, or MJ take your breakfast somewhere else I have something I want to talk to mom and dad about".
The siblings bolted as Penelope walked in the side kitchen door and sat down next to Samantha and Ariel gasped knowing what was going to happen next.
"Dad, MJ, Ariel this is Penelope Rushford and mom I know you met Penelope this morning but there are things Penelope didn't tell you" Samantha said as Penelope gently grasped Samantha's hand.
"If it's about her being a lesbian Sammy I don't care I mean what girl isn't experimenting these days? As long as your not one I'm fine" Deidra said as Samantha choked back tears and gulped Penelope keeping her grip on Samantha's hand as MJ stood next to her Ariel on Samantha's other side.
"And what if I were? What if I told you that Penelope kissed me and showed me her body and I liked it? What if I told you the reason Penelope left her hometown was because she's a lesbian and the people there forced her family out by threatening them?"
The room grew deathly quiet as Samantha cleared her throat tears forming in her eyes as she continued her story of Penelope.
"What if I said her dad was a lawyer in the highest paying law firm but lost his job because Penelope is a lesbian? What if I said her mom a respected doctor has to make a new practice here because her daughter is a lesbian?"
"FYI these are not rhetorical what if's these are real what if's. My family lived here long ago and we moved back because my old town shunned us because of me. Also the what if she was a lesbian question is also a reality Flutter and I have been talking about it for weeks".

"Don't act so shocked mom and dad the psychiatrist you sent me to said I had tendencies of being a lesbian you ignored them".
"Sammy sweetheart we never ignored the signs you never threw them out there. I mean this is the first girl you brought here and we're supposed to just accept that you two love each other?" Moe asked as Penelope sat on Samantha's lap and snuggled close to her.
"Yes because I love her and I'm sure you loved people that were forbidden like a certain mother who has a drill sergeant father and told you to hit the bricks".
"OK but he'll be here today. Are you willing to introduce Penelope as your girlfriend and see how he takes it? FYI not well he couldn't even stand Bert and Ernie sharing the same bed" Deidra said as Samantha having enough negativity stormed off Penelope following her to the attic.
"The door stays open young lady if I see it closed I'm breaking it open and little Mrs. Heathen can moped herself home".
All the kids listening at the door pretended to be doing other things Angelica the inquisitive youngest sibling looked at Deidra and Moe and asked the one thing they hoped she'd never ask.
"Mommy, daddy what's a lesbian and why is it so bad that Sammy wants to be one? I mean is it really bad?" Angelica asked as Moe fielded the question.
"Yes it is see Samantha is being sinful right now because in the bible it says no same sex relationships and Sammy has decided to go and fall in love with a woman".
Angelica gasped and wept saying so Samantha is going to hell? She's an angel she can't be one in hell as the doorbell rang and Deidra opened it to Samantha's friends and her mother with her drill sergeant father carrying sacks of presents.
"OK presents on the table and we can join up in the backyard where an Olympic sized pool will meet everyone. I just hope everyone has a suit".
All the girls and boys bolted for the pool and Deidra facepalmed herself saying why today of all days why now as Moe just hugged her.
"OK happy couple out back for the party and I swear if that door's closed I'm ripping it off it's hinges. I mean we have rules in this house for a reason".
Samantha in a short red two piece laced up bikini walked out as Penelope in a T shirt and basketball shorts carried her vinyl and record player to a table assigned to the DJ.
"OK everyone I'm Penelope DJ of this fine vessel and if there's anything you'd like to hear request it and I'll be sure to play it".
Deidra's navy dad hearing the news from Deidra cornered her in the kitchen with Moe and Deidra's mother.
"OK Dee you're being too hard on her lest we forget Emily? The reason you met Moe his sister now confide to a wheelchair because we wouldn't accept her and you had words that pissed her off?" Deidra's dad asked as Deidra growled her name will not be mentioned in this house.
"Deidra you're going to therapy because of Emily. You have got to stop blaming yourself that girl loved the hell out of you" Moe said feeling bad for not accepting Samantha's relationship because he had a lesbian sister.
"OK you're all right but what if Penny over there has a fight with Samantha over something stupid like prom which was the fight Emily and I had. I wanted to take Moe because I hated the way those girls at school treated Emily once she came out and she screamed fine hide your feelings and sped away".
"Deidra honey I'm sure Emily doesn't blame you for the accident because you didn't ask for that truck to hit her she was angry. Never drive angry it should be in the DMV manual somewhere" Deidra's mother said as Moe full of surprises opened the door and Emily wheeled her chair in Deidra bawling.
