With Will joining the Hero class after his powers emerge things have changed with his friendship with Layla. Layla soon finds solace in a certain fire wielding classmate.

This is the story of the Stronghold Twins. Serena and Will Stronghold. Everyone knows Will's story but Serena's not so much. She has lived in the shadow of her brother and has a bad relationship with her father, Steve Stronghold AKA The Commander. He treated Will like he hung the moon while she was treated like she didn't exist.

A time warp snatches alchemists Edward and Alphonse Elric and whiskes them away to a town where superpowers abound. There they meet Will Stronghold, and are enrolled in Sky High. But they weren't the only people the time warp brought to Maxville...

Years after the events of Sky High, Warren and Layla are good friends, just friends thank you very much. But Warren is in a bind and thanks to some meddling on Will's part, Layla agrees to pretend to date again. This time for his mother's wedding. This absolutely does not stir up any repressed feelings.

Warren wakes up only to look for notes at his house.

"Get up little one, time to go to school"

Mary Lamb has a lot on her plate. She's come back to Maxville after a year away, she has to take care of her twin siblings, and she's starting a new year at Sky High with her mother's reputation hanging over her head. It helps to have friends in her corner, but won't people stop thinking she'll turn villain at a given moment? Maybe Warren gets it.
