Chapter 6

"Yes…" Izuku said as best as he could. He wasn't incompetent with English, just wasn't as proficient as Shinso and Hatsume. It was a difficult language to learn. "They do that."

"They do that," the healer replied, and wasn't that interesting? He wanted to ask so many questions. She was clearly proficient in what she was doing, if she was able to repair the degradation of eyes. Also removing bruises and burns in a near instant was so fascinating. "How… just how are you standing?"

"Midoriya," Shinso groaned, making the bearer of One for All wince. He doesn't like to upset his friends or make them worry about him. "Have you had broken bones this entire time? I distinctly remember Aizawa-sensei telling you to not stand with broken legs anymore."

"Anymore?" Panacea yelled. That was a great name for a healer cape Izuku thought to himself. A cure all. "How often do you break your freaking bone?!"

"Well…"

"Oh million points shatter his limbs all the time," Hatsume unhelpfully supplied. He was glad she was awake but she didn't need to say that and worry the healer any more. "You should have seen him during the sports festival! Broke a finger against lilac head there and like each finger three times and both arms twice against peppermint. That's why he needs more of my babies!"

"..."

Izuku just smiled sheepishly as Dallon's eye twitched. "It is okay. Bones broken are normal."

"Normal," she responds in a terrifyingly calm voice. "I feel so many breaks and old breaks throughout your whole body. Microfractures and stressed ligaments on the verge of snapping. How many times did you break yourself?"

After going through the question in his head, Izuke began counting exactly how many times he had. There was the entrance exam, quirk apprehension test, training exercise, USJ incident, sports festival, I-Island, summer camp, and Nabu Island. Plus awakening Black Whip shredded his muscles and training was difficult.

As he finished counting he saw the healer staring at his fingers that he was using to keep track, both eyes now twitching.

"Heh, heh… six I think?"

"He also has the habit of breaking already broken limbs," Shinso supplied.

"Do you know what? I don't care. I can't deal with suicidal superpowered teens, toe amoebas, accidental dimension hoping, and a fucking bone masocist on so little sleep. Lay the fuck down and let me heal you."

Getting healed was definitely an odd experience. Izuku could almost feel her doing her work. He desperately wanted to write this down and ask her questions, but he was already a bit afraid of her and didn't want to be any more of a bother.

Her power didn't work like Recovery Girl's that much he could tell. She used the targets' stamina to speed up the natural regeneration of a person. Panacea's power felt like it was literally stitching him back together. His bones were being set and mended, scar tissue disappearing and fleshing stitching together. Looking closely he could also she some of his fat stores in his arms and torso shrinking. That must mean that unlike Recovery Girl's power this Panacea wasn't just a healer but instead her quirk must work at rearranging the human body. So her real quirk was bio-

*Bonk*

"I'd normally berate someone from harming my patient but thank you."

"It's one of the few ways to stop him," Shinso snarked as his hands once again returned to his pockets.

"So that happens often as well? The fuck you guys do over there on your world? See who can mutter the most while exploding your bones?"

"Thankfully that's a Midoriya thing."

"And miss baby-maker back there?"

"...That's solely a Hatsume thing."

"Of course. What's your thing?"

"I like cats?"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"I'm done. I fixed each tear and break in your muscles and bones and repaired the damage to your ligaments and whatnot. Night everyone please don't call me again in like a week."

And just like that the healer was gone followed by Armsmaster, leaving the trio of dimension hoppers with the still unnamed vigilante.

"Breaking your bones is normal?"

"So just to confirm with you, everyone is all cleared?"

Amy Dallon really wanted to groan. Groan loudly and obnoxiously so the leader of the ENE Protectorate would leave her alone. Yes, in actuality she realizes the severity of what could have been if a bacteria that could bypass human's current immune system could do. It'd be a disaster. Still doesn't mean she needs to like it.

"Yes, everything was fine. Surprisingly they carried nothing dangerous and their immune systems are similar enough to ours that a cold might take them a week instead of days to recover from and possibly vice versa if they did have something."

"Anything else to report?"

Amy thought about the question. There was a lot she could report, but even more she wanted to know but at a time she can function at 100%.

"Their powers are biological in nature. Like I said, no pollentia or gemma. The one with the, what'd they call them? Quirks I think? Anyway, her cellular structure around her corneas leading to the visual centers of the brain was almost supercharged. She said she can see 2 kilometers and I believe her. The other two, Hitoshi and Zuko or whatever their names were, had completely restructured vocal cords and muscle groups respectively. They're world doesn't have powers like ours, the source is different."

"In that case we thank you for your time. You can write a full debrief sometime this week. Just stop by in the future."

"Sure," Amy said dismissively.

There really was nothing more for her to say as she eventually made her way back to her sister. She greeted her stellar sibling and took off, trying and failing to take her mind off the batch of cells stored in a membrane on the palm of her hand, containing DNA from three individuals' pinkie toe.

"Okay, so one last time. You can only use 30% of your power without hurting yourself. It used to be 5%. Too much above your limit breaks your bones, yet you still go above constantly?"

"Hai."

Hitoshi had to hold back a chuckle as the bug vigilante rubbed the bridge of her nose. Good to have someone else suffer the headache-inducing entity that is Midoriya.

"Then why did you keep fighting Lung? I heard you say something about 60 percent I think? That's double what you can do!"

"You needed to be saved."

"Not at the cost of your own life though! I'm just a random cape that can control bugs. Why would you save me?"

"You look like you needed help," the greenette said in a low voice. This was always something that Hitoshi would envy, Midoriya's conviction and determination. His character in general at its core was something that he wished he could emulate even a fraction of.

"Whatever, thanks I guess…" the bug vigilante trailed off awkwardly. It didn't take a genius to see that she was uncomfortable in social situations, either not use to them or hated them he couldn't say, but she lacked the experience to keep on conversation it seemed.

Hitoshi could understand that on a visceral level. Afterall, so many times he had struggled to do what came naturally to other kids. It wasn't until U.A. he had his first real experiences interacting with others his age. Middle school all the way down to daycare was filled with those who'd shun others based on their quirk, something so many in his world don't understand. It's one of the reasons he wishes so much to be a hero. Not only to prove those that tried to keep him down wrong, but as a foundation for the other kids other there with 'villainous' or weak quirks. The kids who everyone told they couldn't be a hero. The ones who are forced to wear muzzles.

The ninth wielder of One for All was furiously scribbling in a fresh journal. Journal #16 that he kept in his costume has already been completely filled out. He was glad they were able to supply him with a fresh one. He had so, so, many notes he wanted to take. So many different questions to ask, theories to hypothesize, it was taking all he could to hold himself together, and was probably one of the reasons he wasn't as freaked out as he should be.

The concepts on tinkers would completely throw off the balance support companies have. Making technology based on speciality niches hundreds of years in advance sounds great, but the blackboxing overall would have negative effects. Would Tinkers cause their world to stagnate more? Quirks delayed space exploration, but if someone could make a warp drive from parts in a workshop, but he was the only one, why would others even try anything else but reverse engineering? Technology is progress so skipping the steps-

"Midoriya?"

"Ah!" Izuku jumped from the chair he was using, knees hitting the desk and throwing a few pencils on the floor. After holding his heart in order to calm down, he looked over to the other occupant in the room. "Sorry Shinso, you startled me. I was just writing about the feasibility of Tinkers in our world and how they'd affect support companies and technological advancements."

The brainwasher was quiet for a bit, making Izuku wonder if he fell back asleep. After the checkup, Armsmaster collected them and brought the trio to a set of rooms for the night with the promise to figure out the situation in full in the morning. Izuku and Shinso were to share with Hatsume receiving her own.

After nearly a minute of silence, Shinso finally responded, asking the question the hero in training has really been dreading. "Do you think we can go home?"

"I think we can do it," he said with as much confidence he could muster, smiling to his friend. "Hatsume got us here, she can figure out a way home."

"I hope you're right," was the quiet reply. "Although it was an accident that sent us here in the first place."

"As Hatsume says, failure is the key to success," he added with a light chuckle at the end. He was glad when he heard one from the other side of the room in return.

"Sure, I guess. And Midoriya?"

"Yeah Shin-"

His muscles suddenly became unresponsive. In this type of situation, where your body no longer became your own and instead you were at the will of someone else, most people would panic, and it is a reasonable initial reaction. But to Izuku, he just felt embarrassed for not seeing this coming.

"You should get some sleep. Head to your bed and get comfy and attempt to get a bit of shut eye."

Mechanically his body moved to obey. After settling under the covers, he felt his body returned to him as he closed his eyes.

"And Midoriya?"

"Yeah Shinso?"

He heard a guffaw from the general ed student. "Thanks for being my friend."

Izuku shot his best smile to his friend, quietly hearing a 'too bright', before offering a reply. "And thank you too. For being my friend that is."

Silence besides the light sound of each other breathing filled the room and both quirk users tried to get to sleep.

And Izuku tried, but now that he wasn't consumed with the desire to write down in his notebook, his mind began to wonder. He thought about the situation they were in and what his other friends and teachers thought happened. Afterall, he did hear an explosion before they were transported.

Would they think the three of them died? Maybe the cameras in the support lab caught what happened he could only hope. He didn't want his friends to worry over him. Same with All Might, he really didn't want to disappoint his mentor (Read: father figure).

Then he thought of his mother. His sweet and caring mother. After he was diagnosed as quirkless, his oversees job turned permanent and that destroyed his mother. That's one of the reasons why he was always such a responsible child. His mother was always dealing with so much, absentee husband, raising a child alone, and living with a quirkless. What would she think when she found out he disappeared?

Quietly he curled further into the blankets and let tears flow, past practice allowing him to not make a sound.

"Night Vicky."

"Night Ames!"

""Shh""

"Sorry."

Amy shook her head in mirth at her wondrous sister and the fact she was the one to wake up their parents instead of the healer. Yes she loves them, but sometimes indirectly inconveniencing Carol was fun.

She let out a long, drawn out sigh as she laid down in her bed, getting comfy on top of the blankets. As usual, sleep wasn't coming easy to her, but this time there was a reason besides guilt and stress.

Excitement.

She had no idea where the feeling was coming from, but she just felt excitement, anticipation, interest, all directed towards the odd cells she for some reason took with her.

She kept lying to herself, she destroyed them, she didn't replicate them, she hasn't broken her rule, she will not become what Brandish fears she will, yet no matter how hard she tries to, the evidence is sitting right there on her palm.

The toe amoebas, or Quirk Cells is probably a better name for them.

They defied everything she thought she knew about human biology. On a fundamental level, she knew she could create capes that were completely biological in nature. Strengthening skin, muscle, bones, the body in general to give a high brute rating. Creating armor of body or organic crystalized skin cells. Venom sacs with with acid or paralytic poisons.

At its base, molding the human body was what her power was, not healing. She could take a grown man and turn them into nothing else but biological sludge, warp their mind to listen to nothing else but those who secrete specific pheromones, or turn them into a horde of carnivorous rats. Organics were her canvas, her imagination her paintbrush.

Yet with the infinite possibilities in her possession, true biological superpowers weren't at her disposal. Sure she can make people a brute 3-4, blaster and striker 2-3, possibly stranger or changer, but actual capes were a no.

Until the Quirk Cells.

Every second she observes them more possibilities seem to enter her mind. Ways to crush the fundamental laws of the universe yet keeping it within what a human can handle. Well a slightly enhanced human, evidenced by the advanced biological structure present in all three of the dimension hoppers.

Amy can't even make fun of them anymore for their accident with all the avenues they seemed to open up to her. All she needed to do was take contagion-like cells from them and they would be none the wiser.

She had three bunches.

#1 was from the vigilante. She could feel what it could do, or rather what it couldn't. It was young, weak, but so full potential. Poking the edges gave her a sense of Control.

#2 was from the insane Squealer lookalike. This was more mature than the first, and gave her a sense of Sight, like how a blind man describes see for the first time.

#3 was even more mature than the rest. She could feel the power coming off of it. It was similar to the first in the sense of Control, yet it was much more subtle, really more like a director as opposed to #1's more administrator feel.

She wasn't able to grab Quirk Cells from the last which was odd, but what she had was great.

Yet despite all this she was still scared. Terrified really of the power she now possesses. With a twitch and a thought, she could manipulate these cells and bestow them onto someone, she knew that almost instinctively. Ideas flooded her mind on how she could do it to. This configuration for #2 would allow you to know the exact distance from something is, now you can see every single color the naked eye couldn't. #1 can control any being it touches down to involuntary actions while #3 can put post hypnotic suggestions in those that activate after 6 hours.

And she can combine them too. A #1 and #2 hybrid to cause movements to limb in your line of sight. #2 and #3 hybrid that allows you to know how the person was influenced by you. So many options.

Even though she thought what she was doing was wrong, Amy Dallon fell asleep with a smile on her face. And unknown to her, a space whale in another dimension did the same.

So AN! So glad I'm keeping on my schedule, and thanks so much for all the favs, follows, and reviews. It makes me so ecstatic to seem some people actually theorizing what I'm tryna do.

If it wasn't obvious we don't know the cause for quirks so I'm making it up. I have a nice little outline with what the backstory is and it will be sprinkled in bit by bit as Amy learns more. Same with character backstory. We don't know everyone's past so some will be filled in as needed.

Also to those that asked, no Amy didn't erase their quirks and yes toe amoebatm has to do with Quirks. Hope y'all liked this chapter and sorry bout the angst but everyone would freak if you were forced to a new universe. Ciao!
