Back at the school Scott explained to his friends everything that happened and the dream he had as well as what his father said
Mason: no way the master emerald fused with you in the dream and all of the sudden you woke up with these crazy powers and the White House cams caught you levitating above your bed glowing green

Mason: man that's just weird dude you glitched with the master emerald. That's something that would be on a video game
Olivine: are you going to be ok
Scott: I'll be fine besides this is a plus for me I can now do all this super cool stuff and finally send bullies flying. I bet I can even rival sonic in top speed.
Mason: yeah if you can control it. Looks like it's a little too much for you.

As they walk to their next class Olivine noticed a breaking news story on a nearby tv
Olivine: guys
They looked at a tv only for them to see a familiar character from the tv show Sonic X being carried to a holding facility with a strange portal hovering over the White House.
Scott: wait wasn't that?
After a brief pause they quickly identified the boy
Scott and Mason: HOLY CRAP! THAT'S CHRIS THORNDYKE!
Olivine: how did he get here he is just a cartoon character and how did that hole appear
Scott: I don't know but it's the same thing i went through in my dream

The three looked around and saw everyone scrambling out of the school with secret service and security leading them
Scott: What the heck is going on
