AN: So it's been a while, ey? Almost 8 months since my last update. There was a good reason for it too btw.

Ever since I posted chapter 3, my university started for me, and I couldn't for the life of me focus on writing my chapters. University wasn't even all that difficult too, and I had ample time to get things back on track, but once your priorities start shifting it really isn't easy to put your mind to your hobbies.

I now have more respect for many writers here in both Fanfiction and in Questionable Questing, Spacebattles and other Forum-based fanfiction discussions who can pump out chapters despite having jobs or studying in colleges and unis.

Despite this, I was able to pick things back up in winter vacation and I started to develop the ability to write even when I have assignments and stuff to finish. And now here we are.

Anyway, I really appreciate some of the reviews I've been getting here in Fanfiction I'm being perfectly honest. I hope that this chapter will be something to enjoy too.

However, here there has been some interesting reviews here on . I'm not gonna get into all the negative ones, cuz honestly it'll be a waste of time to get into the ones that don't understand proper story and character progression. However, I will get into that one review I see a lot. The one for chapter 2.

Apparently, a lot of people somehow thought that Malcolm calling out Upgrade is the reason why Kate decided to enter the room. That was not what I've written or implied. It was the fact that he, as Upgrade, fell onto the ground and made a loud thudding noise that alerted her. I don't know how people missed that but apparently, they did.

This also transitions to another thing that people don't like, which is the alien name-calling. Here's what I already had planned when I've been doing this story; I'm not gonna do the name-calling all the time, especially in certain moments. However, this will not stop me from doing the name-calling, either during times when a new alien is introduced, or when Malcolm feels like saying (which means when I feel like writing it). As a person who grew up watching and enjoying Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, I never had an issue with the name-calling and nor will I have it here, because I liked it. So if you don't like it, despite enjoying parts of this story, then you'll have to swallow that nasty bit, or ignore it, and move on. But if you somehow can't do something like that, then here's what I have to say: I personally could not give two shits about what you think. If you needed an excuse to not read my story, then go for it, I really don't give a fuck.

With all that being said, let's begin.

Chapter 4

Location: Sanctum Sanctorum, Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York, USA

Date: December 31st, 2009

Time: 8:00 am

Malcolm Daniels

I woke up on my bed feeling refreshed like I had the best sleep ever. Memories from yesterday started filling in and I immediately went wide-eyed with shock because of a sensation that I thought was once lost forever.

"Holy shit, it worked?" I whispered as I could feel my toes curling on demand.

I sat up straight on my bed. With excitement, I moved my left leg to the side of the bed, and then my right leg, and I contracted them both and stood on the floor.

"HAHAHAHA, YES, IT WORKED. IT FUCKING WORKED!" Elation filled me and I screamed with all my joy in it.

And why wouldn't I? I achieved something that I once thought to be nothing but a pipe dream, and felt amazing from the insane accomplishment. I honestly felt like I was on top of the world.

But I didn't stop there. I decided to do all kinds of movements in my bedroom. Walking, running, bending, squatting, jumping, every movement I thought of, I could do without breaking a sweat. I decided to leave my bedroom and move around the sanctum. Seeing no one, I decided to go down to the first floor.

I went straight to the living room (yes they also had a living room with a working TV, something I found out during one of my breaks), to find Wong sitting across watching some drama show I didn't recognise. This wasn't the first time I noticed this. When I first saw Wong watching TV or Strange having a laptop where he browses, it was kind of weird but also felt that it made sense. The comics and movies rarely show heroes having downtimes like these, and most of the time it's always them doing hero stuff or training and so on. So seeing them like this goes to show that even heroes don't have to constantly bust their asses and can have breaks where they get to chill out.

"Huh, what show is that?" I asked Wong, hoping to surprise him. And surprised as he turned around and noticed me. It took him a second before he widened slightly at my upright form. However, this was only for the moment.

"If it isn't Mr Daniels. I see that you're finally standing. I take it that the serum was a success?" Wong spoke with the same stoic expression.

"Could you have at least acted a bit more surprised," I said, fully convinced that this man may as well be this universe's literal version of Alfred Pennyworth. "Yes, it was a massive success. I'm gonna do some regular checks to make sure there are no altercations, but I'm pretty sure I'll be alright," I replied.

"Wonderful, at least we'll be able to end the year on a positive note," Wang said.

I hummed in confusion, wondering what he just said until it hit me and I grabbed the tv remote from Wong and checked the date. The display showed that it was the 31st of December.

"Oh shit, it's New Year's eve. Oh shit, I forgot about Christmas," I was honestly surprised. I'm not much of a big holidays kind of guy, but even then I had no issue celebrating. Especially when it was the first big holiday that I was going to spend in a completely different universe.

"Wait, why didn't you guys say anything when it was Christmas day?" I asked Wong.

"We did. We said Merry Christmas to you. But you were so focussed on your experiments that you didn't notice anything. We decided to not bother you because we didn't want to distract you from some important step," Wong explained.

"Oh. Sorry about that. Didn't mean to ignore you guys," I apologised, feeling slightly ashamed.

"Don't worry yourself, what's important is that you accomplished your goal. Anyway, today is New Year's Eve, so you'll have something to celebrate," Wong said. "So will you be joining us for breakfast?"

"Yeah, sure. Plus I want to see Strange's reaction, at least it will have a lot more substance than whatever the hell you just did," I teased.

We both went together. Wong went to the kitchen while I sat down in the dining room, looking at the news through my phone. It didn't take long till I heard footsteps coming towards the room. I looked over to see Strange walking, to which he saw me sitting down. His slightly dazed look morphed to shock when I decided to stand up.

"That's right, it worked," I said with a smile.

"Malcolm, I can't believe it. It seems we'll have something to celebrate for the New Year," Strange claimed. To Strange, while something capable of healing disabling injuries isn't that astonishing as he himself has used healing spells and has encountered magical artifacts capable of bestowing such effects, this was different as it involved the use of science that was completely unheard of and not an ounce of magic was used. Stephen wouldn't have minded if Malcolm asked for his help but the fact that he hadn't raised his respect for him.

"Yup, also Wong told me about the Christmas thing, so sorry about that." I brought it up. As much as I care about trying to fix my legs, that doesn't mean I should close myself off like that. I didn't need to be another Reed Richards.

"Oh, don't worry about that, I can relate. I was once in your shoes, usually dealing with magic research and spells and I would be so concentrated during the cusp of it all that at one point, I somehow missed three years. Don't let it bother you too much."

I mouthed a 'Woah', from that statement, being surprised about it. Coincidently, Wong walked in with two plates. One of them had a classic breakfast of bacon and eggs, with waffles on the side, while the other plate was made from, well to be honest I have no idea. I can only tell it looked like pieces of unrecognisable meat, a mesh of eyeballs of all things and a tip of an octopus tentacle. Also, they're covered in glowing slime.

"Oh wow, so it is true," I say with an astonished look on my face. "You can't eat normal food anymore,"

"You're aware of that as well. Wait, you said ' can't ', can you care to elaborate?" Stephen asked me while pulling out his fork to start eating.

"Well, from what I recall, there was a Stephen Strange who couldn't eat human food because the continuous use of magic had mutated his body. His stomach would only accept essentially what is equivalent to 'culinary afterbirth'. No offence, Wong," I said while getting a bite on a piece of bacon.

"None was taken," Wong replied.

"Well in this instance you are right, but to a certain extent. While normal foods don't offer any nutritional value to me anymore and that I have to eat, it's not the case where my body rejects it, at least not anymore," Stephen eluded, before chewing into a piece of the tentacle.

"Not anymore?" I questioned, hoping he would elaborate.

"Let's just say that in one of my adventures, I had a chance encounter with an elixir. Under some circumstances, I had to use it to save me and Wong. Because of it, my body had attained some sort of compromise. Now I can still taste and digest regular food, but they don't help me at all really,"

I mouthed an "Oh", contemplating on the new info whilst eating my waffles.

"So Malcolm, now that you healed your legs, what shall you be doing for the day?"

"I…don't know actually. I never thought about anything past fixing my paraplegia. I don't know, maybe take a walk or something," I said while looking through a window. "Maybe that's what I need, a walk around the city. Technically speaking this is my first time in New York,"

"Technically?" Wong queried.

"I'm technically another person, from another universe. So really, this New York is new to me. This universe's Malcolm never actually visited New York, and in my other life, I rarely ever visited that city. Other than visiting the banks, this will be a new experience for me. I'll also probably leave at noon." I elaborated.

"Well if you're gonna do that, then grab a coat. I hear it's gonna snow for the day," Strange spoke while eating through that piece of the tentacle.

(a couple of hours later)

I walked to the front door, fully clothed and prepared to see the sights. But before that, I was stopped.

"Oh and make sure not to get in trouble," Strange said.

"Since when were you my dad?" I said in humour. "Seriously, don't worry about it. Anyway, guys, I'll be back," I say to them before closing the front door.

Doctor Strange

"You know Doctor, in some ways he reminds me of you in your younger times," Wong mentioned.

"Yeah, I can see that," Strange mentioned.

"I bet he's going to get into trouble," Wong spoke.

"Seriously? You have that little faith?" Stephen said.

"Absolutely sir, why else did I say that he reminds me of you?" Wong replied.

"In that case, the loser pays for drinks in the Bar With No Doors," Stephen challenged.

"Then you better prepare your cheque, sir," Wong said with assurance.

Malcolm Daniels

It was cold when I got out into the city, as I'd expected it to be. I decided to do what any person who'd probably do when visiting a new place; act like a tourist and visit some famous spots, and boy was I busy. I first wanted to see the Statue of Liberty, which I did by buying the tickets to the ferry. I didn't think the ferry service was gonna be active on New Year's Eve, but surprisingly they were. I gotta say, seeing it up close truly gave it a nice perspective to its 'grandness' so to say.

After that, I went to see the Rockefeller centre, which was crowded as hell. The main Christmas tree was still there. I'm guessing they'll try to remove it by New year's eve. Even the roller rink is filled with people skating about.

I decided to head out of the centre, and grab something to eat. It didn't take long before I found a diner and ate a nice meal of a burger, fries and a cola. Getting out of the restaurants, I wanted to just walk around the streets for a bit and see the sights. See what makes New York so…' New York' if you will.

However, things took an odd turn when I noticed a couple of guys walking my way with an overall unfriendly look to them. I decided to ignore them and take a turn to a different street, only to find two more thugs coming out from an alley in front of me. I turned around only to see the two thugs that I saw from before standing behind me.

"If you know what's good for you, you're gonna act normal and walk along this street till you see the next alley, comprende?" One of the thugs behind me said. I, not at all bothered by the danger they pose, can't help but groan. Deciding to play along, I walked till I reached the designated alley. All the thugs that I noticed were here and surrounding me. I also noticed that this alleyway had no security cams. It seems that these guys would coordinate and catch people into places where there are fewer eyes to be seen, and I ended up their next victim.

"Phones, wallet, out." Said one of the thugs in front of me, pulling a knife out showing that he isn't trying to play around.

"You gotta be kidding me. Seriously? A mugging on New Year's eve," I exclaimed in surprise.

"Shut the fuck up. Just do what you're told or else…"One of the other thugs said and was being ominous.

"Great. Strange said not to get into trouble and I got into trouble. What is this Murphy's Law, comic book bullshit…." I mumbled.

"The hell did you just say," Said another thug.

"Nothing, nothing. Guys, come on. I'm just having a relaxing time in the city. There's no need to do this. Don't spoil a good thing now," I spoke with a nonchalant tone.

"The only thing getting spoiled is your guts on the floor if you keep yapping," one of them had enough and pulled out a gun. "Now for the last time, phone, wallet, out,"

"Alright, alright, calm down. I'll pull em' out," I said with my hands going to my pockets. A thought popped in my head and I smirked a bit. "In fact, I'll do you even better," I said as the Omnitrix appeared out of stealth mode. Every thug who noticed this was alarmed.

"What the hell is that?" A guy spoke out in alarm.

"Calm down, it's fine. See this watch here? This watch was made by a really brilliant guy. If you sell it, especially to any scientist who's worth their salt, they'll pay you some serious cash for it," I told them. I looked around and noticed that while some of the thugs still looked wary about the Omnitrix, their expression did brighten a bit about the mention of money.

"Ok, then take out the watch too." Said the lead thug.

"Alright, but first, let me show you this watch's best feature," I told the fools who fell right into my trap.

"First, you open the dial like so..." I say as the dial popped up and a hologram of Fasttrack showed up. The guys were surprised about the appearance of the hologram.

"Cool, right? As I said, a really brilliant guy built this," I told them, noticing that every thug's eyes were centred on the hologram.

"But that's not all. If you press the dial like this, then-" My speech was interrupted as I pressed the dial and transformed myself into Fasttrack.

All the thugs were blinded by the green flash of light that ensued. Before they could get their bearings right, I moved in a blur, ramming into the guy with the gun and knocking him into a wall, leaving him unconscious. For the remaining few, I was able to throw some punches into their faces at speeds that, to them, seemed like lightning. The force was enough for them to push them backwards in the air before landing their backs on the floor.

One of the thugs groaned before pushing himself up. His vision was blurry, before clearing up a bit. All he could see was his friends beaten to the ground. He saw something blue appearing very fast in his vision. Once it stopped, he was able to see what it was; a cat-like humanoid standing in front of him.

"Pretty cool trick for a watch, huh?" I said to him, when he saw me in my new look, he was scared out of his wits.

"Stay away from me you freak," The guy yelled out.

"Hey, that's demeaning. Sure, I may have a lot of fur going around, but I like to think I'm a very handsome cat person," I said with enthusiasm. I guess fixing my legs really has given me some confidence.

As the guy scrambles to move as far away from me, he also seems to be fishing something from his back pocket. To which he pulled out a gun.

"Seriously, another gun? Look dude, You don't have to do this. If you shoot that gun, then you'll regret it. So either we do this the easy way or the har-" my talk was interrupted when the man shot his gun at me.

The bullet flew towards me at the speed of a sloth. The only thing I did was move out of its way, all the while keeping my focus on it as it moved past me. Another bullet was then fired by the guy. And another, and then another. The man kept shooting bullets in quick succession, to which I dodged until he ran out of bullets. I also kept track of the bullet trajectories. On the last shot, I grabbed the bullet from the air.

"Wow, well that was rude. Seriously, who shoots a man while he's talking? You're lucky that all your shots just hit the building behind me and not any civilians in the streets, otherwise, you would've been in a lot more trouble," I told the guy while still holding the bullet between my fingers. The guy seemed shocked. Unsurprising, since to him, I moved way too fast for him to understand what just happened.

From there, I just decked the dude in the chin, and he went out like a light.

'Wow, what a glass jaw. Then again, I am an enhanced alien, so it's not really a surprise.' I thought.

FLASH

I heard the sound of cameras clicking. I looked to see people from outside the alley and from out their windows started noticing and recording me. They likely got alarmed by the sound of gunshots. Before I could say something, I heard another sound.

"SOMEBODY, HELP ME!" I heard the sound of a woman screaming. I was able to pinpoint the sound coming from 3 miles away in a northern direction.

'I guess I have enhanced hearing. Makes sense I suppose, he is basically a bipedal, alien cheetah. I heard that cheetahs can hear up to six miles away. I wonder how far Fasttrack can listen up to.' I mused as I decided to run to the source.

I ran until I reached another alleyway, where another mugging was taking place but this time it was a woman being mugged. I didn't even wait a second before I ran up to the mugger and hit him fast and hard at the back of his head. He flopped down like a ragdoll and I looked over at the woman.

"Are you alright ma'am? Do you need help with anything?" I asked her.

The woman stared at me as if I'm the weirdest thing she's ever seen. Not gonna fault her on that front.

"Uh um, uh- yeah I'm fine. Thank you, uh, whoever you are." She said to me.

"No problem. And the name's Fasttrack. I'd suggest you call the police ma'am. Anyway, gotta go, " I said to her, before blitzing off into the street. In a second, my enhanced hearing picked up another call for help. I'm honestly thankful that the Omnitrix downloads the basic instincts into the aliens I transform, otherwise, I'd be overwhelmed with how much I can hear rather than controlling it to be selective.

'For the love of God, it's New Year's fucking Eve. Can't you fuckers have some common decency and do crime literally the next day.' I said and I blitzed off.

Every now and then, I'd find trouble in some form or fashion across Manhattan. It would come in all forms too. Some muggers would try to rob people of their stuff, some thugs would attack someone, and so on. I even encountered some guy trying to rob a jewellery store. Most of the time though, they'd be down and out without realising it because I come in too fast for them to react.

Two hours have passed since I started my little heroism gig. My Omnitrix timed out and I was basically forced to turn back to human form. I used it as a chance to take a break. Thankfully, Central park was nearby. I also found a hotdog stand too. Once I found a bench, I sat down and ate my snack whilst thinking about certain things that happened for the day.

'God, why are there so many people out there trying to commit crimes? Mugging, attempted murders, attempted rape? And in fucking New Year's Eve. Actually, now that I think about it, it kinda makes sense. There are a lot of people out in the public, some people can use that as an opportunity to do some heinous shit. It also doesn't help that some of them are drunk'

As I sat down, snacking on my hot dog, I decided to fiddle with the Omnitrix. Other than accessing the settings, changing the timer, and accessing the BIOS feature, I never got the chance to actually look into it ever since it was calibrated.

'Now where can I find the information on the things I can do on this watch?' I pondered as I looked through the holographic screen showcasing the settings of the Omnitrix.

[Do you wish to look through the Omnitrix's features.] A computerised voice sounded in my head.

"Wait, you can talk? Huh, well that's something new," I couldn't help but feel surprised.

[I am capable of communicating with the user. It is something that Azmuth has suggested as a feature to ensure that there's no confusion between your knowledge of the Omnitrix and what I am capable of. I can even communicate with you through telepathy. However, this feature can be turned off if you wish to do so.] The Omnitrix voiced out.

{Oh, well in that case, better to leave you turned on. I wanted to ask, what exactly did I unlock after you finished calibrating?}

[The Omnimatrix, otherwise known as the Omnitrix, is capable of utilising multiple features and modes. However, some of them are locked and are not available for you to use at the moment.]

{How do I unlock these features and modes}

[I am unauthorised to answer that question.]

{Oh, come on.}

[Azmuth does not wish for you to access them. He used the words, and I quote; "If you think it's going to be that easy, think again."]

"Of course he did," I muttered quietly.

{Then what do I have unlocked?}

[Among the modes, you have Active mode for transformations, recharge mode, where the watch has to disable active mode in order to recharge, Capture mode, in order to capture and store new alien DNA, and stealth mode, which is when the watch completely masks itself from many forms of detection.]

{Alright, I can work with this. Any features?}

[There are many features available for use, some of them were newly introduced courtesy to another Omnitrix bearer, Ben Tennyson. Features such as Quick-change, that allows you to telepathically change between transformations, rather than tapping onto the watch. However keep in mind, that regardless of this feature, changing between transformations will reduce your timer.]

{Is that so. Alright then, what else is there?}

[Other features include a Universal Translator, a camera feature for recording purposes, a hacking feature that allows you to hack into any machine and tamper it in any way of your choosing and much more.] The Omnitrix explained.

I took in the information. While most of the features are reminiscent of the original shows, a couple of features actually remind me of that Ben 10 and Danny Phantom crossover fan comic known as 5 Years Later.

[One of the features that are also unlocked is the template feature, which may I suggest that you should use right this instant. As Azmuth explained, this feature allows the watch to make a template of your current physiological status and thus can heal you back to your prime status should any unfortunate encounters occur.]

{Oh yeah, I remember he explained this before. Alright then, go ahead and do it.}

Looking at the lists of messages, I was glad that I was essentially healthy in every sense. However, I was curious about the fact that there were foreign microbes detected, especially when they're classified as dangerous.

{What were the microbes that were removed from my system?} I asked the watch.

[Majority of those microbes were disease-inducing pathogens. However, one of those microbes was bacteria that was capable of possessing and manipulating both your body and mind. After examination, I was able to determine that this bacteria was capable of subtly influencing your emotions in order for you to feel aggression at certain times, although the manipulation was weak, as your mind hasn't been affected by it. The bacteria does have a minor telepathic link which is likely connecting to a similar organism, probably to be its progenitor.]

I was wide-eyed and confused as to why such an outlandish yet horrifying thing was actually inside my body.

"How in the fu-"

BOOM

Before I could dwell on what happened, I heard an explosion nearby. It sounded like it came from the west side of central park. I ran towards there trying to see what was going on. I walked towards the street to the left of the park where I could hear a lot of screaming from people who were running away from something. There were even a couple of news helicopters flying above, that was doing live coverage of something.

Only upon looking closer did I find the source of the issue; there, I could recognize Spider-man fighting against both Electro and Rhino at the same time.

'Seriously what the fuck is wrong with New Year's Eve. Gotta say though, something feels different about this.' I thought curiously as I looked at the situation. I move closer to the scene to get a better look.

Ignoring the fact that this was the first-ever villain team-up between Spider-man's goons in this universe, something else felt a bit off compared to the normal outings between spider-man and his Rogues Gallery. And that's when I noticed it. Both Electro and Rhino are wearing mechanical armour. The armour themselves seem to have an energy core at the centre of their chest, too.

'It seems that these armours are supposed to replicate Iron man's armor. Rhino's armour kinda reminds me of the suit he wore in the ps4 spider-man game.'

Whatever it is, these armours seemed to have been made to boost their powers. And it shows as Electro's lightning blasts seem to have much more power to them, compared to the fights I've seen in videos online. Even a casual attack from Rhino has more force into them, too, indicating that he's gotten a strength boost.

'But how did they figure out the power supply? Better question, who the hell made their suits?' I pondered while being surprised at their current look

Electro in this universe was a mix of both the comics and the Spectacular Spider-man counterparts. He has the classic green and yellow electro costume but without the frizzy mask that he wears. As for Electro himself, all I could tell was that he was a bald, white man with thunder-like markings on his face. However, when he uses his powers, his skin turns electric-like and yellow. In this scenario, however, covering his suit are two pieces of mechanical armour that cover parts of his chest, arms, and hands. However, at the centre of his chest, there is a power core that connects two both sides of the suit.

For Rhino, this universe counterpart is reminiscent of his other versions in the marvel franchise; a large man by the name of Aleksei Sytsevich with powerful superhuman capabilities which he gained through some form of experimentation. In his debut, he wore a polymer suit that had a similar texture to a rhino's hide and enhanced his strength and durability even further. Yet, despite all of this, he was still beaten by Spider-man, due to Spider-man's superior agility and Aleksei's below-average intelligence. When he was arrested, they couldn't remove his suit due to it being stuck to his skin. This time, however, Rhino seems to wear a mechanical suit on top of his polymer suit, similar to his PS4 counterpart, but now with an energy core at the centre of his chest as well, just like Electro

Not only was this Spider-man's first time battling two foes at the same time, but the foes in question have also gotten some upgrades, while Spider-man was still wearing the same get-up as before. Even with his web-shooters, and his suit which, while seeming to be made up of something as tough as Kevlar, can still tear pretty easily when it comes to these kinds of fights.

'Hey, at least this version of spider-man isn't wearing spandex. I'm getting ps4 vibes from this guy.'

I was debating as to whether or not I should help out. On one hand, while this is a new level of difficulty, Spider-man has always been able to rise to the challenge and has been known to win when the odds are stacked against him, so there's a likely chance that my help won't be necessary. On the other hand, this is still a new level of danger for Spider-man. Things could go horribly wrong and could get Spider-man seriously injured, or even worse. If I assist him, then I can prevent the worst-case scenario.

'But the question is, can I help?' I thought as I got a little closer. I was able to hear some talking in between all the fighting.

"Today's just not your day, Spider-man, " Electro called out as he tried to hit Spider-Man with another thunder blast.

"Yes. Today is the day I crush you Spider-Man!" Rhino shouted in his thick Russian accent as he tried to shoulder tackle Spider-Man but missed.

"Wow, I really love the team effort here. If you guys weren't such sticklers for a life of crime, you would've made the perfect figure skating pair," Spider-man quipped back as he dodged the persistent attacks.

"Oh, shut up and face it Spider-Man, we got both the air and the ground covered. There's no place for you to run where we couldn't find you. With my brains and Aleksei's brawn, we're unstoppable!"

"Oh yeah, definitely. As much as I love what you guys are doing, New Year is coming up and I got to be home before they start shooting fireworks," Spider-Man spoke. He immediately swung around into the alleyway of a building. As Electro flies to catch up to him, he comes to find that the arachnid hero has disappeared.

"Over here, thunderhead." Spider-Man's voice could be heard from above as the red-and-blue themed hero flies into Electro and hits him hard in the face with a flying punch, before landing on the ground.

"GAAHH!" yelled Electro.

"So much for having the air covered." Said Spider-Man. He immediately jumps back as another bolt of electricity misses him.

"Stand still, you bug!" Said Electro.

"And you call yourself the brains of the operation. How many times do I have to repeat that I. Am. An. Arachnid!" Spider-Man told him. Immediately after, he jumped up high in the air as he narrowly dodged a grab from Rhino behind him. Unfortunately for Rhino, he found himself in the prime position to have a taste of a nice dish of thunder to the face.

"Aaaaaahhhh! Watch where you aim that thing," bellowed Rhino in pain as he was getting zapped.

"Seriously, if I didn't know any better, you guys are actually attacking me as an excuse to hurt each other. Seriously though, violence is not the answer. If you guys have grievances then talk them all out. Heck, I'll even act as your therapist," said Spider-Man as he perched himself on top of a car.

"You think you're so smart, Spider-man?" Rhino called out.

"I mean, how else am I talking through this couples therapy session? Speaking of which, I'm charging by the minute, so you guys better pay up by the end of this,"

Looking at this, I couldn't help but sigh a bit in relief. It seems that Spider-man didn't need any help. Meaning I could sit back and maybe help save any nearby civilians from any harm.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you get paid in agony!" Rhino said with a voice that just reeked with a deadly premonition. There was quite a considerable distance between him and Spider-man. Small compartments in his armour opened up and small nozzles came out of it, all of which pointed towards his back.

"Get ready to be squashed, насекомое."

Without warning rocketed off towards Spider-man and dipped his head down with his horn in front. It seems that Rhino is going for his iconic Rhino Charge, but this time, the nozzles around his armour start spewing out hot gas from his back. It was then I realised that those nozzles were actually thrusters. With that added boost, Rhino's speed accelerates greatly beyond his normal charge, which was once mentioned to be able to outrun a train. Here, however, his rhino charge seems to be going much faster than even a bullet train, and he doesn't seem to be stopping.

Despite this, however, Spider-man narrowly dodges, likely due to his patented Spider-sense, with Rhino running through the car that the arachnid hero was just standing on. And yet, this doesn't stop Rhino in the slightest, as he keeps on moving, with his speed ever so increasing, and with his body ignoring every other obstacle in his path, until he hits beyond his intended target; a fourteen-story building.

CRASH

Rhino collides into the building and blitzes through it. A very large hole can be found at the foot of the building. He then crashed into the other side of the building. However, the madness doesn't stop from there. Maybe it was because the building's foundations were old, or maybe the soil under the building was getting eroded over the years, but whatever reason it may be, Rhino's rocket charge had a much bigger seismic impact than I thought because the building started to tilt a minute after the collision occurred.

I was shocked and then horrified at the implications of the fact that the building was tilting at a rate where, in just a few dozens of seconds, it was all going to crash to the ground. Spider-Man also notices this and immediately starts shooting webs at the side of the building, attaching it to buildings adjacent to it, hoping to keep it stable, all the while having a fearful look on his face. Or at least, I think it's fearful. I don't actually know what his face was showing behind the mask.

The webs were successful in keeping the building from tilting further down, but even this solution seems temporary, as I notice the webs are starting to struggle a bit with the load. Plus Spider-man's webs are known to dissolve after a while so the building will fall down anyway.

Before Spider-man could shoot even more webs to help stabilise the tilting construction, he immediately gets tasered by an electric blast.

"GUUGGHHH, what the hell, Max? The building's gonna fall. I'm trying to save lives here!"

"Honestly, Spider-man, I really stopped caring about innocent lives a long time ago. My only regret right now is the fact that Rhino, that fucking dumbass, used his trump card at the worst possible moment just because he wanted to show off." Electro then stops talking as he shoots off another electric beam at Spider-man.

I was close enough to hear their conversation and I couldn't help but feel pissed at how indifferent Electro was to the situation at hand. My thoughts of anger were distracted by the sounds of one of the webs snapping, which leads to another, and then another. Despite their strength, the amount of webs is too minimal to hold the weight of a large building from falling over. I could hear the faint screams and cries of the people inside, through the walls of the building, calling out for help.

There's no other hero on-site and Spider-man is too preoccupied to focus on keeping the building stable. He does come around and shoot one or two webs at the building, but more webs are snapping than they're being made. The only thing holding it together is a few webs, and at any moment they could all snap and the building would tumble. I don't think any further from here as I turn on the watch and hit the dial. A bright green flash overtakes me.

I turn into Fasttrack as I immediately dash over to the building. I ran towards the entrance and grabbed everyone I could find in the lobby and pulled them out. Then I ran up the stairs to the first floor and pulled everyone out from their apartments, regardless of whether or not their doors were locked. If there was one thing I believed in the shows, it's that while Fasttrack is considered to be slower than XLR8, they do have an edge in the strength department, with them capable of carrying multiple people without losing an ounce of their speed. So, it wasn't surprising when I was able to carry two, or even three people in my arms without any trouble.

I knew instinctively that, while I'm not travelling at insane speeds like light speed or anything like that, I was travelling at what could be considered way beyond supersonic speeds or even above hypersonic speeds, so it wasn't surprising that everything else looked very slow. In the show, Ben as Fasttrack was able to save two plumbers who were at ground zero of an explosion, and both plumbers came out unharmed, without even a single burn mark. Safe to say that Fasttrack is pretty reliable when it comes to speed. That doesn't mean I shouldn't skimp out on my effort, however, as at any moment the webs holding the building could tear apart, and personally, I'm not confident enough to test whether or not I can catch over a hundred people in a falling building.

An aspect of this version of Fasttrack is that he is capable of intrinsically manipulating friction around his body, making it so that there is very little drag pushing me back as I run at high speeds. This power also extends to the object they touch or carry as well. This makes things easier for me, because, normally speaking, running at velocities tens of times faster than a fighter jet would make the wind resistance go up at an all-time high and rip me and anything on me to shreds. Having a power capable of reducing massive amounts of friction makes things so much easier for me.

'Then again, the fact that I'm in a Marvel universe, especially one that's a mix of the comics and MCU, basically means that air friction, as well as the laws of motion and general thermodynamics, might as well just jump out the goddamned window.' I thought as I kept pulling more people.

From the second floor to third, to fourth, to fifth, and so on, I'd carry two or three people out of their apartments, through the stairs and out the exit. I would leave them out of the way of the building's falling trajectory and come back inside to grab more people. As I'm doing all of this, I try to think of ways of going faster because I felt that going through the stairs was too slow of a method, and it didn't look like the webs could hold for much longer.

By the time I was done with the sixth floor, I basically just said "screw gravity", as I ran up the walls and forced my way through the window of a seventh-floor apartment. I would carry every person on the entire floor and run down the building through that same window.

It wasn't until I was done with the tenth floor that I felt a big shift within the building. I looked up to see that the remaining webs have snapped due to the unbearable weight of the building. There was nothing stopping the building from tumbling down to the ground. I immediately acted fast and ran to the eleventh floor, knowing that every microsecond counted. With every apartment cleared, the building was getting closer to crashing. I ran as hard as I could up the walls, checked through every single room in every apartment (even the bathrooms), and grabbed as many people as I could before going back down, leaving them away from the soon-to-be crash site. It was honestly getting a bit difficult to traverse the building, due to how slanted it was, but I was still able to handle it and grab every person. By the time I reached the fourteenth floor, the building was slanted to a point where anyone could literally climb up the inclined portion of the building.

Fortunately, I was able to get everyone from the last apartment just with a few seconds to spare. But as I was about to drop them off, I couldn't help but think of whether or not I actually did a good job. I just couldn't help but ask myself: 'Did I get everyone?'

[Sensors indicate two life forms left remaining inside the construction.] The Omnitrix AI communicates telepathically at the same accelerated thought speed as my own, followed up with a map of the building being sent to my mind and two glowing dots shown inside the basement of the building.

I didn't ask how, nor did I ask when the Omnitrix scanned the entire building and located the remaining people inside. The moment I processed the entire thing, I booked it and ran, pushing every part of me to their very limits as if I would die if I stopped. When the building started tilting, parts of its support started to crumble, effectively separating the building from the actual base. There was a good chance that the people under the building were being crushed by debris.

As I ran, I broke through the door leading to the stairs of the basement. I ran through debris blocking my way, relying on my cat-like nimbleness to ease through some of the small gaps. Things are getting harder to move through as more pieces of construction started falling over. A part of me thinks that these people were already crushed, but I immediately ignore it.

As I made the final turn, I finally found the place, and I noticed the two people, along with a shit ton of rocks and rubble falling onto them. I ran, screaming in my mind to make it. Without a thought, I pressed onto the Omnitrix symbol and a flash was all that covered me.

Peter Parker

It was official, things have gone from surprising, to dangerous, to outright bizarre for Peter. As he looked at the crowd of people that appeared over the road, he was willing to bet that someone up above might just be playing tricks with him.

(Flashback)

His radio device which he uses to hack police signals picked up a call saying there was a disturbance at a nearby warehouse. When he came to check, he found that some police officers were on the ground in pain, and it was done by none other than Electro. He looked different at first, as he didn't realize at the time that he was wearing some kind of power armour.

"Wow, what's with the new digs you got there Max? Are you auditioning for the next Miss Universe Beauty Pageant this year?"

"Oh, I'm auditioning alright. Auditioning for your demise that is." He said as his clothing started to light up. It was when he realised that the clothing on him was actually some kind of mechanical armour.

'What the hell?' Peter thought

SMASH

However, his thoughts were interrupted when the doors of the warehouse smashed open to reveal Rhino, however, he looked different too. While he did have the normal grey skin-looking suit, parts of him had been modified to have a mechanical armour similar to Electro.

"Hello, bug." Said Aleksei.

"Wait, Rhino's here too? Since when the hell did the both of you decide to team up? From what I remember, you guys tend to act way too narcissistic to care about working with others."

"Things have changed. The guy who made our power suits, our employer, tasked us with a job to fulfil. He didn't trust us to do it normally, so he decided to upgrade our tech."

"So you guys were hired for a job while looking like a dollar-store iron man? Damn, this job must be pretty serious for you guys to risk your already low social status. What even is this job you guys are doing."

"Our employer wanted us to capture you. He seemed very interested in your unique powers, wanting to see how you function and whatnot."

"Someone wants to kidnap me? Damn, he could've just called if he ever wanted to ask. I'd even give him my number if he's such a fan. What the hell's the payout for you guys."

"Well, he promised me that I could keep the suit with the complete schematics. As for Rhino…"

"They promised me that they'll remove my suit."

"So you're finally gonna stretch your feathers and fly like a little bird, eh Aleksei? Well, sorry to break it to you, but I'd rather be free and not get kidnapped by some stalker fan."

"Our buyer never said he needed you alive," Electro said smugly before his suit started to glow yellow.

Peter's Spider-Sense started to blare insanely, he immediately jumped away as a powerful gush of electricity shot at him. Sadly, Peter wasn't exactly in the clear, as part of his arm was hit with the shot. When he looked at his arm in pain, he could see that the arm part of the suit was essentially seared, which was very alarming.

'Oh god, this is my spandex days all over again?'

Before he could lament on the suit that he knew he was going to have to repair, he could see Rhino stomping towards him, readying for an attack. Spider-Man was able to see the punch coming and successfully dodged it. He retaliated by throwing a punch of his own right to Rhino's face. When the punch landed, the impact caused his head to abruptly turn. However, when Rhino corrected his head position, Peter was able to see a smile on his face.

"Was that the best you can do, little bug?"

Admittedly, it wasn't exactly his best. Peter knew his strength far surpasses what he usually dishes out towards the bad guys. He's afraid that if he lets things loose, he could cause some serious injury, or even kill someone. Throughout his 3 years of being Spider-Man, he's never really dealt with anyone who could take the full brunt of his strength. Not even Rhino in his previous bouts could take him on fully. He's more durable than everyone else he's handled so he could take a couple more beatings than the but Peter knew that he could overpower him.

But there is an issue in holding too much back, especially against super-powered foes. If he doesn't incapacitate them properly, he might subject both himself and others to untold harm. With every second Spider-Man takes to defeat a supervillain, the more likely he will risk endangering civilians. So for Spider-man, he always walks on a tightrope, making sure he's careful when using his strength.

"How many times do I have to repeat myself? I. Am. An. Arachnid!" Spider-Man retorted to Rhino's statement.

"Either way, you're about to get squashed," Rhino stated as his suit started to make some kind of engine noise and the core in his chest started to light up.

He held both of his arms straight up. For Peter, the spider-sense warning was all he needed to jump back as Rhino smashed his fist to the ground. The force of the attack was so powerful that it caused a tremor no weaker than a miniature earthquake. The result was a ground that was completely shattered and unstable. The force also caused the walls of the warehouse to wobble from the tremor and the glass windows to shatter. Spider-Man was even blown back a little from the massive attack. Thankfully, it didn't take much to stabilise himself in the air and land safely on the ground.

Things have now gone wrong as he was unexpectedly pulled into his first-ever fight against a two supervillain team-up. What made things worse was the fact that they both were wearing power armour in a similar fashion as Tony Stark. Despite making fun of such suits, they did do a good job at boosting their powers.

The only saving grace is that he noticed that their power core isn't exactly like the one Stark uses, which is apparently dubbed as the Arc Reactor. Their core isn't as energy-efficient. With every strong attack they use, the power core loses more power than it produces. Just that shockwave attack that Rhino used powered down the suit temporarily before it went back on again. It would take a bit of time before they would recharge. So all he needed to do was goad them into using their stronger attacks and he should be able to beat them at their weakened state. And if he finds a good source of water, then he could defeat Electro doubly so.

Spider-Man can finally see a possible way of defeating them. Now all he needs is to be patient

(Flashback End)

Things had gone the way he expected. He would taunt both of them into using their boosted attacks, and when they were done, he would either taunt them or land a couple of hits, usually both, just to make them angry. He even decided to use the cat and mouse trick to irritate them even more. But things took a turn for the worse when Rhino apparently decided to use a trick of his own to retaliate. His Rhino charge could reach all-new levels of speed. While he was able to narrowly dodge the charge, the same couldn't be said for the building behind him.

The situation got even worse when the building started to tilt like a listing ship. Peter surmised that the building was constructed around the 50s or 60s, long enough for the building supports to be old and rusty, where a good hit would be enough for them to buckle under the pressure.

Peter started shooting his webs, hoping to keep the building stable and save everyone inside, but electro attacked him, preventing him from continuing. He honestly despaired at the thought that he might not be able to stop the building from falling, which may lead to crippling and/or killing everyone inside.

'If I hadn't gone through with this stupid cat-and-mouse game and decided to fight them in a safer location, none of this would've happened. It's all my fault.' Peter thought as his guilty conscience came around to punish him. Even as he shoots more webs to keep things afloat, they sadly can't really bear the thousands of tons of mass. Try as he might, he couldn't slow down the building. Peter started to feel true despair at this point.

Suddenly, something blue streaked by his superhuman vision. At first, he didn't know exactly what it was, all that he knew was that it was fast. But then he started to notice that blue streak going in and out of the falling building, and with each occurrence, people appeared on the streets. At first, it was a few people, then a group, then a crowd, then a bigger crowd, then a community, and so on. Electro picked up on this and saw what was happening. He was so distracted by the event that he had forgotten what he was supposed to be doing and just floated there, entranced by the scene.

Peter didn't believe it, whatever that blue streak was, it was saving people from the building at insanely fast speeds. It kinda reminded him of one of the mutants from Magneto's group, the guy who dubbed himself Quicksilver. But this thing seemed to be a mix of dark blue and black instead of light blue and silver. The police even showed up and it was no surprise that they were utterly mystified by what was going on.

When the last webs snapped, the blue streak still kept going, bringing out as many people as it possibly could right until it crashed to the ground. The building was tall enough to crash into the park itself, splitting the road into two, with one side having the people from the building. Peter and Electro stood somewhere on the other side, but also in the park itself, where they could see the crowd of people.

"What just happened?" Peter couldn't help but ask. It's at this point, more police showed up and started to set a perimeter around the area where Peter and Electro are standing. The majority of the officers focused on evacuating the civilians away from the danger.

"This is the police, put your hands in the air, and don't move!" A few police officers started to converge towards Spider-Man and Electro and aimed their guns at them. Peter was surprised as he thought the police were advised not to engage in a situation. He could even hear from their radios that someone is telling them to stand down and head back towards the perimeter. Most likely a detective or a Sergeant.

"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea at the moment." Said Spider-Man.

"Shut up, you menace." Said one of the police officers. Peter realised that these guys must've drunk way too much of that Daily Bugle Juice to realise that they caught themselves in a very dangerous situation.

"Yes, we have some things left unattended." Said someone with a Russian accent. Peter turned to find the Rhino had popped up from somewhere, probably from around the building. "You should run away if you know what's good for you." He continued.

One of the police officers aimed his gun at him. Peter knew, however, that those guns would be absolutely useless against someone like him. All they would do is just Annoy him and lead to an attack on the officers. Even Electro was annoyed as the discharges coming from his hands were getting brighter.

Before Peter could tell them to get away from here, he felt a giant rumbling coming from the building's base. The sound was getting louder before I giant green diamond started to drill itself off the ground. It stopped before somehow opening itself up. From there Peter could see a large green humanoid, that was made of sharp edges while also carrying two people on its shoulders.

"This has been a really weird day." Peter couldn't help but say.

Malcolm Daniels: Just a few moments after the building crash

My eyes were closed as I prepared for the worst. A few more seconds passed, but despite the sounds of things breaking and crashing, I felt very little pain. In fact, I felt no pain at all. When I opened my eyes, I could see a dome of pale green crystals surrounding me. I looked down to see that my entire form has turned into the same pale green crystal.

'Green Crystals? Did I turn into Diamondhead?' I thought to myself as I looked into my crystal hands and closed them before opening them. As I continue marvelling at my crystalline structure, I could hear someone groaning. I looked down to see the two men that were down in the basement.

"Hey alright. Give me a second, let me get you guys outta here," I talked to them with a voice much deeper than I normally have.

There were two folks; one of them was awake but dazed as though he looked concussed, the other however was unconscious. Looking at the two people, I realised that they were wearing jumpsuits. It looks like these people must've been maintenance workers for the building. Makes sense why they'd be in the basement in the first place. As I started pulling pieces of rocks that were covering them, I couldn't help but mull over what just happened. Everything felt so surreal. Running at high speeds, moving people around while they were as stiff as statues, moving while a building was slowly falling over. Honestly, I can't help but think of that one scene in X-men Apocalypse, where quicksilver was saving everyone inside the mansion while it was being blown up.

My thoughts then dwelled on how I got myself in the basement, which made me think of something.

{Omnitrix, what did you do exactly?} I asked the Omnitrix.

[I had scanned and imprinted the building schematics into your head.] the AI spoke.

{Ok, better question; Why did you do it?}

[It seemed that you wanted to evacuate everyone from the construction. I decided to take the necessary action and aid you.] The AI explained.

{Oh, thank you then.} I mentally spoke while trying to adjust to the fact that AI is much more talkative than what I'm used to in the shows.

I removed the last pieces of rock from them, I couldn't help but feel queasy. The dazed one was somewhat okay, he had some rough wounds but he would heal. The problem was the other guy, he was pierced through the gut by a metal bar and he was losing blood.

"Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck," I panicked a bit, not knowing what to do with the man's bleeding hole in his gut. His only saving grace for him is that he's unconscious, otherwise I'd be hearing him scream in agony. 'What the hell do I do here? I can't just leave the man here, he's already lost blood and he's gonna lose more. What can I do, it's not like I can fucking heal him….Actually, wait a minute.'

A thought popped in my head, and I immediately pressed the Omnitrix symbol. I transformed into Swampfire. I grabbed the guy and very quickly removed him from the iron bar. A lot of blood was being lost but I acted quicker. Vines started growing from my arms, and into the man's gaping hole in his gut.

What I was doing is essentially a hail Mary. The main idea is that the vines would act as a kind of a makeshift healing suture. I based this off of one scene in the second season of Alien Force where Swampfire was able to heal a Highbreed when his arm was cut off. He essentially was able to mend them together using his vines.

'I don't know if this will work the same way but at the very least, I can stop the bleeding.' I thought as I finished covering up the wound. Once the situation seemed to have been sorted out, I changed back to Diamondhead and opened up the dome.

'Seriously, do Petrosapiens just have the ability to conjure crystals out of nowhere or do they manipulate the atoms around them to have an endless supply? Questions for later.'

I looked around to see the entire basement or what's left of it. There was so much destruction going around, I couldn't even recognize anything, except for maybe that boiler that was broken to bits. I looked above to see that the ceiling looks like it could break off at any moment.

'That may be a good thing. I can probably use that to get these two out of here.'

With that thought in mind, I looked at the two guys.

"Alright let's get you guys outta here," I say to them as I conjure a huge crystal that encloses us, before shaping it into a drill. I exert myself, trying to grow and move the drill to the surface. I could feel the crystal drill pass through the ceiling above, before piercing through to the open ground above.

I stop everything, and carry the two maintenance workers on my shoulders. I then open the diamond drill from the ground. The first thing I see is that everyone is staring at me. People, police, even the villains. The helicopter spotlights are even aimed at me

'I mean a giant diamond drill just popped up outta nowhere. Really, who would look away? Oh god, I wonder how Strange is feeling.' I thought to myself.

I stepped off of the diamond structure while mentally trying to recede it into the ground. As it does so, I look around before spotting ambulance trucks on the scene, to which I move towards them. People started to move out of the way as I tried to find a paramedic on the scene.

"Police, stop moving. Get on the ground now, " Said one of the officers trying to stop me from moving. He was noticeably more calm than I thought he was. They were probably used to it considering they've dealt with spider-man on multiple occasions. I effectively ignore him as I continue to move among the crowd, much to the dismay of the officers trying and failing to stop me even after one of them claims the threat of shooting. Eventually, I see a paramedic who's frozen on the spot, likely scared.

"Here, take these two. One of them lost a bit of blood, while the other is actually unconscious. We good? Alright, I'll get out of here," I say to the paramedic before turning around and walking towards the main source of everything going on.

As I scanned my surroundings, I noticed police cars being parked from both sides of the road. Most of the cops were helping the former apartment dwellers to get to safety, while some of them were setting a perimeter. Although, now, their actions were stopped due to my timely entrance and now hundreds of eyes were on me. I ignored the surrounding gazes and looked through the perimeter to see a group consisting of a couple of police officers, Spider-man, and the two big offenders of the situation. I set my sights on the rhinoceros looking spaz.

As I walk over towards him, I can't help but morph my expression to anger because of what the asshole just did. Spider-man notices my expression and puts himself into a stance, believing that he may get involved in the fight. The same goes for the other superpowered foes and even for the police officers involved. I reached the perimeter and looked at the police officers, to which they all instinctively backed away. I could even hear one of them going to his radio and heavily requesting backup. I walk past the perimeter and enter the park. On the way, one of the officers who was aiming a gun at Spider-man switched his aim to me, although I could see his hands shaking.

"Y-you! Stop w-where you are and don't m-move." The police officer stuttered, as I ignored him and kept walking towards Rhino.

"I s-said stop moving." Said the man again. Despite his warnings, however, he seemed too scared to actually do anything. Tensions have skyrocketed due to my interference. The other officers decided to aim at me too.

I kept walking until I stood right in front of the police officer in question and I just stared at him while channelling my inner batman. Honestly, the guy was visibly shaking at this point as he looked up to me, I kinda felt bad for the dude. No amount of regular police training prepares you for something like this. The other police officers weren't faring any better either. It was then I started talking.

"I'd suggest that you put your guns down and walk away from here. Trust me, the last thing you need is to escalate the situation any further than it already is. How about you calm down, take a deep breath and walk away," I said while keeping an eye on the police officers. Eventually, one of them couldn't take it anymore and just dropped his gun and bolted. The other police officers saw this and decided to do the same.

Once the police were out of the way, I moved in front of the three superhumans. I looked at Spider-man first who has kept himself in a battle position, seemingly wary of me. My gaze then shifted towards electro, whose skin is bursting with electricity. And then my eyes shift to Rhino. Looking closer, his suit's design really does resemble a bit like his PS4 counterpart, minus the circular power core at the centre.

Looking at him, I couldn't help but feel pissed. While there might have been multiple factors that caused the issue at hand, it was because of his actions that eventually led to the building being destroyed. And finding a home when all their documentation was probably lost in the building rubble is gonna be a big nightmare.

Right now, I just wanted to use the guy as a punching bag for my strength, as I was pretty angry for what he did. But before then, I shifted my gaze back to Spider-man.

"Yo Spider-man?" I called out to him.

"Yes, giant diamond dude?" Despite being alarmed by the current events, Spider-man didn't show any sort of fear in his voice. Or at least, strong enough to hide it.

"How confident are you beating the buzz-fly?" I asked as I pointed a finger at Electro.

"Huh?" Electro was caught off guard.

"Oh, uhh, pretty confident, really. So confident, in fact, that by the time I am done with him, he wouldn't even know what happened,"

"...I'm right here," Electro stated.

"So you can beat him?" He nodded to my question, I nodded back while saying: "Alright that's good." I proceeded to throw a strong right fist towards Electro.

"GAAAAAA" Electro yelled out in pain from the unexpected punch. Rhino was alarmed and tried to intervene but large crystal shards pop up from the ground and block his path. I then grabbed Electro and threw him far away from here.

"There. Since you're confident in beating the glorified light bulb, you deal with him. I got a rhino that needs to be put down." I say to the surprised Spider-man as I turn towards Rhino. Spider-man decides to actually listen and move away.

"H-hey, just don't go too far." I heard Spider-Man's voice as he moved away.

"Don't worry, I'm going for 'down and out', not dead, Spidey," I told him as I recede the crystal shards to the ground. Rhino seems visibly pissed off towards me.

"Alright dumbass, I have a lot of aggression right now and I need to let it all out. So, I'm gonna use you as my punching bag. Sounds cool? Yes? No? Oh well, it's not like you have a choice. In the end, your ass is grass," I spoke to him. His expression contorted in rage, due to my complete disregard of him as a threat.

"I don't know who you think you are, but if you think that I won't smash you into tiny little bits of glass then you are mistaken," Rhino said back.

"Oh, this? No no no, you won't be fighting me like this," I spoke, to which Rhino look confused. I pressed onto the Omnitrix symbol, causing a green flash of light to appear in the area, effectively alarming everyone.

Once the light dialled down, in its place was an alien no longer than 12 feet tall with a muscular physique. The alien had red skin covering him, with two pairs of muscular arms, each having a four-fingered hand. The alien also has two pairs of eyes, one above the other, while having black stripes on his face. The alien is also seen sporting a ponytail and is seen wearing gladiator-styled armour. The Omnitrix symbol is seen on his chest.

"Four-Arms!" I called out in triumph, finally getting the chance to use this guy since he has been one of my favourites. I looked towards Rhino, marvelling at the fact that I towered above this dude. Looking around, everyone else was looking shocked. Which makes sense, considering a giant four-armed beast of an alien came out of nowhere. Even Spider-man had to stop to look. Same with Rhino. I looked at one of my hands which I balled into a fist. I smiled before looking at Rhino, to which I threw a strong punch to his head.

"AAAAGHH" Rhino yelled in surprise and pain as he flew far from the force. He landed on the ground.

"Get up tiny, you've seen nothing yet," I say as Rhino groaned before getting up. My taunt must've worked as he got visibly angry.

Rhino immediately dashed towards me as he pulled back a fist before swinging once he got close. Due to my reflexes, the oncoming punch seemed very slow and was extremely easy to dodge by moving to the side. It didn't stop Aleksei, however, as he kept going on the offensive. It was honestly a cakewalk to dodge or parry each attack. I wasn't even trying my best, either. There was hardly any effort on my part.

"Stand still, so that I can smash your skull in." Said Rhino.

"Are you a dumbass? Only a moron tells someone to stand still when being hit and expects them to do it." I tell him off to annoy him further, which succeeds, as the guy looks like he's about done with my bullshit.

He tries to do a shoulder tackle, to which I effortlessly strafe to the side to avoid it, causing him to hit a nearby tree. Instead of directly attacking me again, he decides to grab the tree and pull it out of its roots. He looked at me right before he threw it towards me, to which I punched through it, as the bark couldn't hold to my strength. He doesn't relent as he grabs more trees and throws towards me like I'm his target practice. However, they weren't exactly a problem for me, as I would either break them or dodge them easily.

At a certain point, he found a large rock and decided to grab it. The rock was heavier than the trees, but Rhino seemed to have no issue with carrying it. However, before he could throw it at me, his power core started to glow a bit and made some kind of humming sound. To me, it felt like his suit was building up power. Unlike his previous throws, this one had a lot more power and speed to it, suggesting that the power core can actually give momentary boosts in abilities, alongside the passive gains granted by the suit itself.

As the rock flew at me, I put a little more effort to dodge, but it was still a piece of cake in the end. Right now, I can't say for other aspects, but in terms of combat speed, I outclassed him.

'Wait, isn't that rock…' I thought about the rock that I dodged. My eyes widened when I realised that the power of that rock throw was going to head towards the perimeter. When I turned around, I could see that the trajectory of the rock was heading towards a group of police officers standing guard next to their cars.

Before I could attempt to transform to someone else to fix the situation, an energy blast from the sky shot towards the rock and obliterated it, leaving no trace behind. I looked up to the sky, trying to see what just happened until I found what was the cause of that laser blast, or rather who.

Flying in the sky, I was able to clearly see a blonde woman wearing a red and black skin-tight suit that covered most of her torso with a gold star symbol at the centre of her well-endowed chest. She had a black mask that mainly covered her eyes, long black gloves covering her arms and long black heel boots that reached to her toned thighs. She also wore a long red scarf that was tied to her waist. She was none other than Ms. Marvel. And, if she's like any of her other counterparts, this was most like Carol Danvers behind the mask.

Looking at her, I couldn't help but be amazed slightly at her beauty. Originally, when I saw her, I assumed she was gonna look like Brie Larson, just like how Tony Stark looked like Robert Downey Jr. or how this universe's Captain America looked like Chris Evans, but looking at her now, she looks nothing like Brie Larson. Heck, if anything, Brie Larson may as well have been an insult compared to the woman I see flying above me, a peon compared to a goddess. She easily competes with the top 1% of models with her looks alone.

"Hey, what's the big idea?" She called out to me.

"Uh, It's not what it looks like," I told her, thinking that she thought I threw that rock.

"So you weren't just showboating with your speed just now?" She rectified.

"Oh...then it's exactly what it looks like," I said to her. Upon seeing her frown, I spoke.

"Sorry, didn't really mean that to happen. Was trying to gauge this guy's strengths compared to mine."

"Do you need any help?"

"It's fine. I got this." I said before looking at Rhino, who coincidentally was trying to do a small rhino charge. I moved to the side as I predicted the incoming attack.

"Is that all you can do, dodging? Face it, you can never match my strength" Aleksei taunted back. My eyebrow raised to that, and I hummed in thought. Aleksei dashed before finally landing a jab on my body.

He didn't stop there, as Rhino kept going on his assault. Eventually, his suit started to power up, with Rhino going for a boosted punch. The punch landed in my gut. The power of that punch was able to cause a shockwave, making the air blow like the wind and the trees to shake. I was pushed back until I hit and broke a tree behind me.

"Holy shit!" exclaimed Ms. Marvel as she saw the punch Rhino landed on me. She must've not expected Rhino to have so much power compared to before.

"Are you scared now? Do you know what you got yourself into?" Rhino asked in a tone that suggested ridicule.

"Hey, are you alright?" Asked Ms. Marvel as she got closer to check on me.

I raised one of my hands towards her, signalling her to stay where she is. A sound could be heard coming from my mouth, then a snicker. To which came a burst of full-blown laughter. Both Ms. Marvel and Rhino were very surprised by the development.

"Hahahaha…sorry, sorry. I'm just surprised. I was expecting some pain or something. I didn't expect that you'd punch so weak. Please tell me you didn't actually put any effort into those hits," I said out loud.

Rhino got even madder from that remark. The sad thing is that I was telling the truth. Rhino's attack was so much weaker than I thought it was. It was like a five-year-old punching a professional boxer. There is a bit of pain if you focus on the feeling, but it's so negligent that you might question whether it was even there in the first place. I didn't even block the attacks that much either. His attacks were as light as a feather.

Rhino goes for another angry assault as he shoulder-bashes into me. My feet slid on the ground, but I still had a smile on my face as I shook my head. Meanwhile, Ms. Marvel is flabbergasted by the odd turn of events.

"I'm gonna beat you down, you four-armed freak!" Said Rhino as he pulled both of his arms back before going for a strengthened double-punch. At this point, I had enough of this nonsense. I held two of my upper pair of arms up, grabbed Rhino's fists by the wrists and held them with ease. Try as he might, Aleksei could not get away from my grip.

"My turn," I stated as I aimed one of my lower arms towards his stomach.

POW

Rhino couldn't help but groan in pain from the gut punch. Once I let go of his wrists, he put both of his hands on his belly, leaving his face exposed. I gave his face a right hook, causing the villain to get thrown back. I waited until he got up before I started throwing more punches. To me, I wasn't putting that much effort into my strength, but I knew that the force I was pushing can easily break through building walls like eggshells. For Rhino, however, all he felt was pain.

Some of the punches I threw were so strong, that, in most cases, Rhino would bounce off the floor from the impact. His armour wasn't even taking the hits better as large, fist-shaped dents or cracks formed in portions of his armour. At one point, I hit him in the face hard enough for him to lose a couple of teeth from the impact.

"Do you understand why I'm doing this?" I asked him after I knocked him off the ground again. "Because of you, people lost a home. Because of you, they're gonna struggle to sleep for the night. Hell, they were gonna die if I didn't come in to rescue them. There are kids literally crying right now because of you. Actions have consequences, and I'm here to act as the very consequence of that dumb stunt you pulled. Now get the fuck up and catch these hands!"

Rhino didn't move. When I got closer, I was able to get a better look at him. His armour was mostly damaged, to the point where I could see some grey skin underneath it. As for Rhino himself, his helmet was busted, leaving part of his face exposed. There, I could see that there was a little bruising that formed and both his nose and mouth are drawing a bit of blood. When I looked closer at his face, I could see that Rhino got knocked out from that last hit. Looking at him now, he seems so pitiful that I almost wondered if I took it a little too far but then I remember what he did and determined that I didn't go overboard.

'So I guess the fight's over. Not gonna lie, it felt kinda anticlimactic. I expected more, to be honest. Oh well.' I thought as I looked at his prone form. I decided to turn back and leave in order to get the attention of the police.

On the way, I saw Electro covered in spider webs and unconscious. He also looked wet. I guess Spider-man didn't take as much time as I did taking him down. Understandably so, considering I threw him next to a lake. All Spider-man had to do was dunk him in order to short-circuit his powers.

Looking up, I could see Ms. Marvel with an impassive look on her face. I looked at her and smiled as I had all of my hands in a thumbs-up. She smiled which turned to a giggle after seeing my interaction.

'I mean it's not every day you see a giant four-armed man flashing four thumbs up to you.' I thought. She flew down a little closer as I walked away from Rhino.

"Damn, you really had me going for a second," She said

"I honestly expected him to be a challenge," I told her.

"Is that why you didn't need my help? You knew that things were going to be fine?" She asked me.

"Even if things weren't going to be exactly fine, and even if Rhino was actually a lot stronger than what he was now, I still wouldn't have asked for help."

"And why is that?" She asked.

"Because of this man, people lost a home and they will struggle for it. In a certain sense, I understand them, because I went through a similar situation, where I was taken away from my own home. It's why I couldn't help but feel angry about it. Even if I wasn't truly strong enough to fight him, I still would've had other ways to defeat him. I mean, how do you think I saved those people there?" Ms. Marvel had her eyes wide open in shock as I stated that.

"Were you related to that thing that started pulling people out of the building? It was live on the news," she said. It seems the news helicopters picked up the sight of Fasttrack's rescue.

Before I could reply, something interrupted, or rather some feeling. An odd buzzing feeling occurred in my head. I don't know why, but I can't help but instinctively feel like there is some feeling of danger that's coming from behind.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Rhino woke up from his slumber. Immediately, pain-filled his entire body. It wasn't until the second later that he recalled memories of what happened to him. He got up only to see the back of the same four-armed freak that hurt him like this in the first place, which promptly pissed him off. His suit still had enough charge for another attack. He crouched low as the suit power-up before going for another boosted Rhino Charge. His speed easily reached the likes of a bullet train and is still accelerating. The wind curves around him as he blasts towards the Four-armed alien.

That buzzing feeling became stronger, telling me to turn around and face something. I turned around to see Rhino trying to bulldoze his way towards me, while the sound of something loud blasting by. Ms. Marvel reacted as well, surprised before her hands brightened, ready to shoot a blast of energy, but before she could even do that, I acted. I ran towards Rhino, almost matching his speed. The moment I got close, I stopped and opened my hands, as I intended to grab him. Rhino tackled me, but due to my superior strength, he slowed down significantly as I grabbed him. Rhino kept pushing through, trying to bulldoze me, but I didn't budge. I lift from the ground, and over my head. Rhino could only watch what was coming to him next.

"YYYYEEEAAAAAAAEEEEEGGGH" I yelled out a battle cry as I smashed him into the ground. The immense force behind caused a major tremor that shook the ground. Trees were shaking, cars were momentarily lifted minutely off the ground, people were unstable from the momentarily shaky ground, and so on.

'What was that buzzing feeling? It was like I could tell there was oncoming danger before I could see it. Why does it remind me of Spider-man's spider-sense?' I thought wondering what just happened, before looking at Rhino.

By the end, Rhino was found in a large crater with his suit both damaged beyond repair and completely unresponsive. As for the man himself, he's likely to come out of this with a couple of broken bones and some bruises but is otherwise totally fine as his suit took the brunt of the damage.

"Wow, that sure showed him," Ms. Marvel replied. To which I smiled.

Spider-man swung by and saw Rhino in a crater.

"Ok, I get that you're big and strong, but was there a need to cause a literal earthquake with your powers, Mr Four-Arms?" Said Spider-man

Looking at Rhino again, I couldn't help but think about it a little bit.

"No, not really, but I had some pent-up aggression, so I needed something to let it loose. Oh and the name's just Four-Arms"

"Wait seriously? I was joking about the name. Oh and remind me not to get on your bad side then," Spider-man said.

"So, What exactly are you?" Ms. Marvel chimed in.

"Well, I'm an alien actually," I told her.

"Wait, Aliens are real?"

"Yes/Yes." Both Ms Marvel and I answered Spider-man's question.

"Oh. Wait Ms. Marvel how are you so sure about aliens?"

"Well that's because Captain Marvel is an alien too," I told Spider-man

"Wait really? But he looked so human. Or at least as human as a guy who can fly and shoot energy lasers," Spider-man stated.

"How do you know that?" Ms. Marvel asked, surprised that I knew about her partner.

"Lucky guess," I said as I shrugged.

Our talk was interrupted when multiple SWAT vehicles appeared on the road behind the perimeter and many SWAT officers started coming out, guns ready. They walked straight through the perimeter and ran straight towards us. Upon reaching us, some of them walked towards Rhino, checking to see his current condition, while the majority of them had their guns aimed towards me.

"You, put your hands in the air and don't move." a SWAT officer in the front said to me.

"Put your guns down officers," Said Ms. Marvel, in an odd authoritative tone.

"Sorry ma'am but we can't do that. We've been ordered to take him in." Said the leading officer.

"As an acting member of Shield, I demand that you stand down," She said with more authority as she pulled what looked to be some kind of police badge.

Her words surprised me. If she is Carol Danvers, then I didn't expect her to be working for Shield as appose to being a regular hero.

'I guess this isn't the only part of her that's reminiscent of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, now that I think about it.'

"It's fine guys, don't worry about it," I said to both Spider-man and Ms. Marvel. "As for you folks, I'm sorry to tell you this, but I will not comply with the arrest. Personally, I'd like to be as free as a bird." I said to the officers.

"If you do not comply with the arrest, we will use necessary force."

"Alright then. I'm just gonna completely ignore that and just straight up leave," I told them. "Like seriously do you expect me to actually comply, and spill my secrets to the government, or worse, getting dissected," I said with a look of disgust. The latter is possible to happen considering that it's already been confirmed by the X-men that there have been heinous experiments that have been done on mutants in secret.

"Welp, gotta run. See you guys later." I said to everyone as I bent down slightly before jumping high in the air, leaving a small bit of dirt billowing at my launch site. I was so high up that I reached the same level as the helicopters. I slapped the Omnitrix' Dial, a green flash lights up the dark night sky as I transformed.

My skin remains red as I transform. A pair of yellow horns grow and extend towards the nose and then to my mouth. My eyes change from two pairs to singular, and my face is covered with black shadings. My hands change from four fingers to three. Gills form at the sides of my torso. Two black lightning bolt stripes form on my chest and join at the centre. A prehensile tail forms from my back with the tip of it being black. Two wing flaps from underneath my arms, yellow on the front and red on the back, connect and extend towards both my back and to my tail. My legs also turn lanky with my feet having three toes. A black shirt covers the upper half of my chest and shoulders while a pair of pants cover the legs and extends to my soles. A white lightning design can be seen around my waist and shirt. The Omnitrix symbol can be seen on my right shoulder.

"JETRAY" I call out in the air before I instantly fly away.

Once I was far away, I headed back to my place of residence; The New York Sanctum. I transformed myself back to human in an empty alleyway five minutes away from the sanctum, while using the Omnitrix's functionality to hack and turn off all nearby cameras. Once the coast was clear, I headed back towards the sanctum.

During the walk, I couldn't help but smile. And why wouldn't why? It was my first ever fight against supervillains, and not just any supervillains, but those among Marvel's iconic villains. Not only was it my first ever fight, but I also beat them. Well, actually, it was just the one, while Spider-man took care of the other. Either way, things went really great. Sure, there was a bit of property damage along the way but that honestly just comes with the job.

'Wait, doesn't that technically mean that I also teamed up spider-man?' I thought along the way. It was at that point when I reached the Sanctum Santorum

Upon opening the door, I came face to face with Dr. Strange standing in front of me.

"Hello, Malcolm," said Strange, oddly sounding disappointed.

"Hey, Strange," I said.

"How was your day?" Asked Strange.

"Pretty fine, if I'm being honest," I said

"Nothing went wrong? You didn't cause any trouble?"

"...It was on the news, wasn't it?" I asked Strange.

"Yup," he admitted.

"Ok, but to be fair, trouble came to me, and I couldn't really stand there and watch," I said, which prompted him to lift one of his eyebrows.

"Is that so?" Said Strange walking inside. I followed him as we made our way inside.

"Ah Malcolm, wonderful seeing you today," Wong spoke, and I actually notice him smiling.

"Wong, you look actually cheery. What's the occasion? I don't think that the New Year would get you excited,"

"Oh that's because Strange here owes me a drink," Wong replied.

"And why would he do that?" I asked him.

"Because we both made a bet, to which I lost," Strange decided to speak up.

"Oh really, what was the bet?"

"I bet that you would end up causing trouble where you would use your powers. Strange vouched for you believing you wouldn't," Wong explained.

"Wait you guys bet on me?" I asked, surprised by the info.

"Yes," Strange said as we all moved to the living room.

"And you somehow knew that I was going get myself involved in something?" I asked Wong.

"When you're in the business as long as I have, you tend to have a gut feeling on these kinds of things," Wong explained.

"Damn,"

"Shall you be staying up for the New Year, Mr Daniels?"

"Yeah sure. I mean it's a nice way to end the day. And man what a way to end the day," I said with a smile before a thought popped up.

"In fact, you could say the day ended up being just Marvelous,"

End Story

An: So, what did you think? This chapter was made to emphasise the crazy aspects of comic books, where odd coincidences just have to happen to our heroes, cuz Murphy's law may as well be an actual universal constant.

The design of Fasttrack and Four-Arms in this chapter is supposed to mirror their designs in the fan comic made by the InkTank known as 5 Years Later. I highly suggest you guys check it out as it's a really fun read, especially if your a fan of either Ben 10, Danny Phantom or both.

You also probably noticed that the Four-Arms had his own interpretation of a danger-sense that he'll later learn that he has a hard time grasping, similar to the Ghost eyes ability that GhostFreak had in chapter 2. I won't spoil anything, but I can say that there's a reason for all of this, along with other things that'll be introduced as the story progresses.

Hey, I even introduced Ms. Marvel as well. if you guys want to know, her costume design is from Earth's Mightiest Heroes and one of her earlier costumes back in her Ms. Marvel days in the comics.

And that's really it. Let me know if there are any grammatical errors and such. Give me a review whether you liked it or not. If there's something you didn't like, tell me your honest criticism on what you didn't like and why you didn't like it, as well as how you'd propose to fix it. Also, don't be afraid to leave your ideas to further develop the plot, if you feel like it. Your thoughts might help me out.

And yeah that's about it. See ya in the next one.

Ciao.
