Thank you so much Leann Nickerson, SarahWeasleyWinchester, Blondie 20000 your feedback. Awww Blondie 20000 I was actually a little afraid for Dean to call Gemma Mom but I felt it was time. I seriously love having the boys end up having a somewhat normal family life and the support system they have to fall back on with John, Gemma, Bobby and Caleb.
So this next part is kinda short but I think I tie up one of my loose end here :). I hope people enjoy
Thanks

Chapter 30
"You alright?" Dean asked as soon as Bobby went back inside.
"I can't believe your father threatened you like that." She said, still shocked at John's outburst.
Dean snorted, "Come on Jo, he still calls you Baby Girl you can't be that surprised that he would feel so protective of you."
"Well he certainly doesn't need to protect me from you and he needs to understand I'm not that six years old girl begging him for piggyback rides anymore." Jo huffed.
"Please, you can't fool me. You're pissed you couldn't bend your pinkie that my Dad is usually wrapped completely around and get him to do what you wanted him to do." Dean teased.
Jo gasped at the older boy, "I don't do that."
"This from the girl who got my father to give her a sawed off shot gun for Christmas two years ago after her uncle told her no." Dean said.
"You father felt I was ready," she argued.
Dean laughed, "more like you went and sat on his lap crying that your Uncle Bobby was being unreasonable."
Jo blushed as Dean smirked at her. "Oh shut up," she huffed.
Dean laughed as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. "Hey are we having our first couple's fight?"
It was Jo's turn to snort in amusement, "don't know. We have to wait until we can talk to Tom….remember."
Dean looked down at Jo, "are you mad that I agreed with Bobby on that?"
Jo shrugged her shoulders, "at first yeah but I was the one who decided to go back into therapy and I know that it's coming my Uncle Bobby's concern for my wellbeing and I can't be angry at him for caring about me."
"We are so friggin mature for our ages," Dean boasted.
Jo rolled her eyes, "well I am…the jury is still out on you."
"Ha-ha," Dean teased as he turned and looked through the window to see his parents and Bobby still talking. He turned back towards Jo and grinned, "they'll still pretty deep in conversation, what you say we make good use of the time we have before they call us in and make out."
Jo made a show of thinking about Dean's suggestion before sighing, "sure might as well…got nothing better to do out here."
"Nothing better to do," Dean said as he quickly pulled a giggling Jo onto his lap before stealing a kiss.
Jo snuggled into Dean's embrace, "are you really sure about this Dean?"
"We're back at this again," he sighed.
"What if Tom says he thinks we should wait?" She asked as she ran her hand along Dean's arm.
Neither teen heard the footsteps approaching through the screen door or heard John standing on the other side. John he had heard Jo's question and he couldn't help it. He wanted to hear Dean's answer.
Dean mated his forehead to Jo's, "then we wait until he believes you're at a point to be with me. Jo I meant it. I love you and I don't care. I'll wait as long as I have to. I can't keep trying to pretend I don't have these feelings. I've been trying for almost two years and it didn't work. Not really."
"I love you too," Jo told him as she leaned up and gave him a quick kiss. "I know Uncle Bobby and your Dad don't get it but I think Gemma does. We've been through so much separately and together. I don't know maybe I am broken but all I know is I don't feel that way with you, I feel stronger with you."
"Me too," Dean admitted. "Who else could ever understand the shit we've been through? If we were older I know neither of them would think twice about us being together."
"Exactly, it's like Gemma and your Dad. They both have lived through so much and understand the pain the other has gone through." Jo murmured thoughtfully.
John closed his eyes as realized that what Jo was saying was true. Him and Gemma bonded over their pain and everything they had gone through in their lives made them treasure not only each other but the family they were raising together.
Swallowing the elder Winchester took several steps backwards before loudly walking back towards the door, giving the teens a chance to hear him approaching. He smirked slightly when he opened the screen door and saw the way Jo was scrambling off of Dean's lap.
"We're ready to talk to you both," he told them. Jo got up and went to walk past John but she stopped when he reached out and gave her hand a quick squeeze. "So now you call me John?"
Jo looked down at their joined hands and then back up into his eyes and her anger melted away when she saw the sadness in his eyes before leaning up and kissing his cheek, "I love you as much as I love Uncle Bobby…it's just time John."
"Right," he said with a slight nod of his head as he let go of her hand. He waited for Dean to come through the door before stopping him. "Son…"
"Dad, what more can you possible have to say to me." Dean said, unable to hide his anger or hurt from his father.
John frowned as he stepped in front of his son, leaning in so that they their faces were mere inches apart. "That I'm proud of you…proud of the man you're becoming," he growled to a clearly shocked Dean before smiling and pulling him in for a hug.
