Chapter 34

Jo sighed as she rested her head on Dean's chest, listening to his heart beating beneath her. It had been six months since they had begun sleeping together and she knew she would never grow tired of listening to his heart beat.

It also still amuse her that she knew that her Uncle Bobby and John both pretend that her and Dean weren't intimate yet both turned a blind eye when Dean spent the night with Jo when he wasn't gone on a hunt. Tonight was different though.

When Dean had gotten back from a wraith hunt he had worked with his buddy Lee a couple of weeks ago he had been gone close to two weeks and gladly volunteered to stay and take care of the garage while his father went to Washington state to work a case with Pastor Jim.

They knew John wasn't going to be back before the beginning of the lunar cycle, they were all just hoping he would be home in time for Christmas Eve. Dean said he would stay home to care for Colleen when Gemma join her pack during the lunar cycle.

Both had been a little shocked when Gemma suggested Jo stay with the Winchesters. As if that suggestion didn't surprise them they were even more shocked when Bobby had agreed since Jo was on holiday break and he told her she deserved a little vacation from the yard and that was the best he could do.

Both understood the importance that Gemma suggested Jo stay with Dean and help care for Colleen. She never would have suggested this if she hadn't discussed it with John first. Then for Bobby to also agreed meant that both men had not only accepted that the young couple relationship had moved forward but it was their way of acknowledging Dean and Jo as adults and of giving them their blessing too.

So Jo packed her duffel for several nights, made sure her Uncle Bobby had enough pre-made meals for the next few days before packing up her Fairlane with her and Bader's things. Soon she was pulling into the Winchester's driveway and smiling up at her boyfriend.

They had spent the afternoon at the park playing with Colleen, Bader and Candy before they went home to have dinner with Gemma, Colleen and Sam before Gemma headed out to spend the first night with the pack.

Dean and Jo had spent the evening with Collen after Sam left to go out on a date with Camie watching Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. They had even set up her Little Mermaid sleeping bag on the couch in the den outside of Dean's room and kept the door opened if she needed them.

Jo stretched as she turned and pushed the covers off. "Where you going?" Dean asked around a yawn.

"Just going to check on Colleen and then going upstairs for a glass of milk. Do you want anything?"

"Wouldn't say no to a slice of that pumpkin pie Gemma made."

"Okay," Jo said as she leaned over and gave him a kiss.

Jo slipped her robe on before heading out. She smiled as she look down and saw that Colleen was fast asleep with both dogs snuggling beside her. Quickly she made her way upstairs towards the kitchen but stopped when she heard what she thought was crying coming from upstairs.

They had heard Sam come home…was he crying for some reason. Jo chewed on her lower lip as she slowly made her way upstairs to see if Sam was alright. She stopped though when she head another voice and realized that Camie was upstairs.

She frowned when she heard Sam say no matter what happened he loved her and they would figure it out together. Wincing she began backing down the stairs, wanting to give the other couple some privacy. She turned and made her way towards the stairs leading downstairs.

Dean looked up when Jo walked up when she came back in, "hey where's my pie?"

Jo rolled her eyes, "forget the pie…Sam snuck Camie into his room."

Dean stared at Jo before he barked out a laugh. "Okay, so him and Camie are doing what we do. What's the big deal. I still want pie."

"Dean…she was crying." Jo explained in exasperation.

"Jo they're not kids…for crying out loud you're the same age."

Jo climbed back into bed, "I know that we're the same age and of course it's none of our business if they're having sex but Camie crying is a different story."

Dean sighed, "Jo I am not going to go up there. Look Sam needs to grow up and be an adult. I told him months ago that he needed to talk to Dad about not wanting to go into the family business and that he was applying to Stanford. He still hasn't done it. Sorry, but I'm not going to baby him. He needs to grow up."

"You're right. I just hope everything's alright. Camie is my friend too."

"I get that but whatever is going on up there, they can figure it out. They're both friggin geniuses.

"Okay," Jo said as she climbed back into bed and frowned when Dean climbed out. "Where are you going?"

"Somebody promised me pie but she didn't bring it," he teased as he leaned down and gave her kiss.

"Really…what a bitch," Jo said with a grin. Dean laughed as he started towards the door but stopped when Jo called out. "Hey Dean, I would love a glass of milk."

Dean pulled out the pumpkin pie out of the fridge, placing it on the table before he reached back in and grabbed the bottle of milk. He went over to the dish strainer and grabbed a plate, glass, a knife and a fork. Sitting down he poured a glass of milk and cut a large piece of pie that he placed on the plate before digging in.

He was halfway through his pie when he heard footsteps on the stairs before the front door opened and closed. He ducked his head slightly as he lifted his milk and took a sip. He looked up when Sam walked into the kitchen.

"Dean!" Sam shouted, shocked to see his brother. "What are you doing in here?"

Dean held the plate up so that his brother could see the half-eaten pie as he gave Sam a smile. He watched as his younger brother went and grabbed a glass before sitting down at the table and pouring himself some milk. The brothers sat in silence as they drank their milk.

"Hey Dean," Sam said as he finally looked up into his brother's face.

Dean took one look and saw the unshed tears in his brother's eyes and he sighed, "what happened? Did you and Camie break up?"

Sam shook his head and the tears he was trying to control he began to shed. "I screwed up," he choked.

"Come on, it can't be that bad." Dean reasoned.

Sam closed his eyes as he bowed his head and whispered, "Camie's pregnant."

Dean stared at Sam dumbfounded, "pregnant?"

Sam nodded his head as he did something he hadn't done in years. He reached over and grasped Dean's hand and asked, "what am I going to do De?"

"I don't know Sammy; I really don't know. I do know you can't sweep this one under the rug baby brother and pretend it ain't happening. You're gonna have to tell Mom and Dad."

"Dad will kill me," Sam cried miserable.

The older boy didn't hesitate as he stood up and pulled his brother into his arms. "No matter what Sammy, I will always have your back," he reassured his brother as he kiss the top of his head.

Dean had shaken his head when he saw Jo walk into the kitchen and she quickly slipped out and went back downstairs. The brothers stayed up together until the early hours talking about the options Camie and Sam needed to go over together.

Dean knew Sam was right about one thing. Their father was going to have a fit when he found out.

Author's Note - Okay I wanted a teen pregnancy in this story but I thought Sam and Camie would be more interesting than Dean and Jo.
