Hey there people, TheAwesomeCoolJay here and I bring good news, well for me and this website anyway. There has been a setback in my original plans for academy, so I'll be updating my stories more. With that being the case, I decided that this story will not receive the original break I intended to do, but this is still the end of the second half. That's all for now, happy spooky month and enjoy today's chapter.
Star vs. the Forces of Evil is owned by Daron Nefcy & Disney
Today was the worst. Star Butterfly really tried to look for something to cheer her up, but by the end of this day disappointment was the girl's fate. Yesterday her mother return to her and her father, looking very upset with floating lifeless members of the Magic High Commission. It all looked bad, but things got worse when Moon told Star that they would be returning to Mewni.
"No more earth... no more hanging out with Marco?" Star said to herself.
This situation caused the princess to be heartbroken, so much so that her usually walk to school with Marco was cancelled when the girl purposely avoided him by using her Summoning Cloudy Charm spell. In the sky, the young Butterfly tried her best figure out how she'll tell him.
"Diaz I have to go back to Mewni because my family is... my destiny is to defeat... I have an arranged wedding with Tom!"
"I don't think he'll buy that." Cloudy giving feedback to Star.
"Why is saying goodbye so hard?" Star whined as she pulled on her pigtails. "What am I going to do Cloudy?"
"You really asking me for advice?"
"Sure anything can help me right now."
"Well what you could do is... give me the book of spells."
Star was confused on how that could help her, but before she could ask Cloudy what good that will do the young girl saw that she had made it to school. Hopping down and making her cloud disappear, Star looked around to see if Marco was around. It appeared that he hasn't made it to school yet, good, she had more time to plan this out.
"Give me your lunch money nerd!"
Turning her head, Star saw the local school bully, Lars, was once again bullying Francis again. The larger boy was about to punch the smaller one but Star intervened by blasting Lars with her syrup tsunami shockwave spell. Lars was now stuck to the side of school, making Francis happy but Star even happier.
"That felt good."
"Look at you being the good girl." A familiar voice from behind said to Star.
Turning around again, Star was happy to see it was Janna but that happiness would go down a little when her friend had her phone out revealing texts from Marco. From what Star saw, all the texts where asking where the girl was?
"So did you two have a fight or are you just avoiding him because your not over him still?" Janna asked.
"It's not that!" Star quickly answered and also covering her friend's mouth so no else can hear. "Can we talk about this at your locker?"
"Sure, whatever gets you out of another sticky situation." The young Filipino referring to her situation with Marco and what she just did to Lars.
TheAwesomeCoolJay: I know that joke sucked, but I had to stick with it... ha ha puns.
After hearing about Star's problem, Janna leaned backed against her locker and crossed her arms in frustration.
"That bites."
"Big time." The princess added crouched down by her friend.
"You need to tell Marco."
"That's easier said than done Janna." Star said standing back up. "I don't want to say goodbye, I have too many good memories and friends here."
"Well I guess this is going to be a bad memory then." A voice from an adult said approaching the two girls.
It was Principal Skeeves who said that and in his hands he was carrying papers that were concerning the finances of the school.
"Star sorry to hear that you're leaving, but it couldn't have come at a better time."
"Why is that?" She asked him.
"Well due to fundraisers not doing so well... and a very bad gambling problem, the school is about to shutdown permanently." Skeeves explaining the bad news.
"What!"
"Yes!" Janna happily cheered, but changed the moment Star gave her a look. "I mean, oh no."
"Isn't there anything we can do?"
"I was told by my grandparents that there was oil under this building and for years I've been trying to find it." The Principal tells them. "I've had no luck finding it, if only we could-"
"Spider With a Top Hat!"
Unleashing her most powerful spell, the six legged creature hopped up in the air activated his laser shooting minigun in his hat and shot at the ground. This barrage lasted for a minute until the little spider stopped and returned to Star's wand. Skeeves was about to discipline Star for doing such a thing, but suddenly from the very spot she shot oil came bursting from the ground and through the ceiling.
"You found it, the school is saved, I can possibly think of giving teachers actual overtime!" Skeeves happily annouced.
"But what about the giant hole in the school?" Janna pointed out.
"One problem at a time Miss Ordonia."
Star was happy that she could help the school, but that happy moment was cut short when she felt crawl up her arm. It was Spider With a Top Hat, but something seemed off about him. He was just staring at her and his eyes were now green.
"What's going on?"
"Give me the book of spells!" The spider told her before he disappeared.
It was the same thing Cloudy said, now Star had questions but before she could ask them the missing half of her wand started to glow green. Not wanting to cause a scene, Star rushed to the female restroom and checked out her wand.
"Okay why do my spells want the book so bad?" Star asked her wand.
"They don't, I do." A familiar voice said through the wand.
"Toffee?"
"That's right Star."
"How are y-"
"We both share the same wand, it only makes sense that we can contact each other."
"That's creepy." Star quickly pointing out how weird that was. "Please don't call me."
"I won't make it a habit, but you need to give the book!"
"And why would I do that?"
"Because I can come to earth, because I know where Marco lives, and because I know you'll blame yourself."
There was a moment of silence, she couldn't just give the book of spells to a monster like this, the things he would do with it would be horrible. But then again, she knew she couldn't just let Marco be hurt.
"Fine, you win." The princess admitting defeat.
"No, not yet."
Hours later
Marco was frantically using Eddy to swing from street light to street light, he was in a rush he had to see Star. He learned the news from Janna, he doubted it at first but would soon find it to be true when he called his parents about the situation.
"Our parents talked to each other, why couldn't she talk to me?" A teary eyed Marco asked.
"Focus on getting there first, then ask questions later." His monster arm trying to calm him down.
Marco pushed forward with that advice and soon he would find himself in his neighborhood. He saw his friend's house he still had time, Marco swung from one street light and there he was in front of Star's house. He was about to enter their home but suddenly magic surrounded the house and in just a few seconds it was gone.
"Star."
And that's the end folks, hope you all enjoyed it! So yeah heavy stuff, try to make yourself happy for your last day but at the end you'll always be sad about it. Couldn't fit the backstory in this chapter it will be the next and from point we are going to get lore heavy.
